A muggle friend may have found this out in the open so we have notified owner

07-Jan-21
Could not find it even we have three pairs of eyes.

19-Oct-20
Was on my way home and figured I’d swing by this one before I was done for the day. I was about to give up when I found this “tool” I’d read about in everyone else’s logs, which convinced me I was getting close. What do you know, I spotted something a little out of place and gave it a poke and there it was!

Amazing camo, really loved this one. It’s riddled with ants so be careful!!

30-Sep-20
took us a little to find until we felt more around

Clever! TFTC

02-May-20
Quick find due to someone leaving plastic hanging out the end. Tftc looks awesome

27-Mar-20
Extraordinary times produce extraordinary days! Today we found ourselves running down from Brisbane to make an urgent delivery of surgical masks donated by our son to the medical surgery where Mr STW's sister works. We looked for a geocache that we'd be able to find that wouldn't be far off our route, as we had to return to do shopping for housebound relatives.
We got to the lovely little showground and found an obvious structure. I actually looked right AT the cache and made a comment to Mr STW. Read the clue, read some logs and was misled. Then spent a lot more time looking. I was in the middle of typing a PAF plea when Mr STW finally made the call we all love to hear: "found it!"
Very sneaky cache- we were relieved to finally find it!

13-Mar-20
Thanks to rancoast for the note. I have replaced the logsheet.

28-Jan-20
Thanks to chamad for the note. Indeed there has been rain damage to the local area, however the cache remains in safe location and in good order. Happy caching!

24-Jan-20
With the amount of water that is evident that has been through this area and the amount of erosion good chance this one has been washed away. we searched around tree bases and to head height in the trees no luck today.

The goal for today was to try and find a few geocaches around the Gold Coast in order to claim my 1000th find! This incredible geocache was first on the list and let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed! This style has a great camouflage and I loved it! The showground also had some lovely old buildings so a camera is definitely recommended! TFTC!

25-Dec-17
Tftc. For some reason I hassled something and was reading hint for some other cache and wondering that I couldn'y find even that kind of object which was mentioned on that hint. Then I read the hint for _this_ cache, but that didn't help me at all. Nevertheless, just when I was ready to leave the area, one last view spotted this nicely hidden container. Easy favo point.

22-Dec-17
This cache has been muggled so I have replaced it in a different style. Happy caching!

18-Dec-17
Misssusan79, geokid Tobias and I scoured the area to no avail. Been a while since logged so might be time for a co look again. Maybe just a little cache blindness for the day.

27-Aug-17
When we found this in June we knew it was the Nottinghamers cache but didn't mention there was no log (we were newbies!). Saw there was a new log and dropped past today to sign it. At first thought it must have been moved as location was empty. Found the new container and disguise on the ground below. Replaced in location so cachers may need to make sure it is secure when replaced.

27-Jul-17
Fun find! Tftc

Neat little cache. TFTC

18-Jun-17
Buoyed by my success at finding several Nottinghamers caches the other day I thought that I'd try for a few more.
Silly man. 3 dnf's out of 4 Sad
I will return.

05-Feb-17
This was another clever hide and in the late afternoon sunshine I was pleased as punch to be able to spot it. There were plenty of ants all around it but I was able to soon enough sweep them off and add my name to the log. Then it was time to roll the miniscule log back up - joyfully tight enough on the first attempt to easily fit back in Smile

Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers.

27-Sep-16
Geowife loved this one. She was looked for this type straight away. She had it in 5 mins before I could even start reading logs.

25-Sep-16
Great hide. Caching with our grandsons. TFTC

11-Sep-16
Great hide! I loved it although it did take me a while to find it and it was after looking at some photos as suggested by a previous cacher.

My advice for other cachers - don't confuse a log with a stump

26-Apr-16
Woooohooooo finally found this one after an extensive search by myself! Had no clue until I saw a photo, it was one side I hadn't been, I saw something above and I was like maybe that was it, as I went for it I saw something even better and found it! Thank you so much for this. This is a a place I grew up around and is special to me

21-Apr-16
I took the footy down to the show grounds had a bit of a kick but it was all subterfuge and i ended up in the corner looking for this cache of course.
Today just wasnt my day, with a ten minute search turnung uo nothing.
When a couple of dog walking muggles appeared that were watching me oddly, i took the footyback to the car, and headed off to find some other cache elsewhere.
Another day

05-Apr-16
This was really well hidden and took a lot of searching, but found it after a while. TFTC

24-Feb-16
Tftc The Nottinghamers I love your caches after dropping Geobaby off at day care this was so close so I had to grab it.

20-Dec-15
Very clever,, I did find it quite easy though, I have a simular one

29-Nov-15
Thanks for the cache. I've had this one on my to-do list for a long time but being a cache from the Nottinghamers I knew it wouldn't be a quick find under a rock Smile Today I had some time so I began the search.. VERY clever hide! I nearly gave up but eventually found it. Cache in good condition.
Cheers

20-Nov-15
Great camo once again, found with E:) fav point from me & TFTC ☺

As usual a very nice hide! Tftc Smile

15-Jun-15
A very clever hide Nottinghammers! Where do you get your ideas?

15-Jun-15
This was a very very clever hide. We spent quite a while searching in a couple of obvious spots. Not winning the battle we resorted to PAF. Even with some hints it still took a little while to discover the cache. I was happy to be the one to spot it. Getting a fav point from me for sure. Brilliant cache. Thanks for the effort Nottinghamers. Joojoo57 warned me that your caches are cunning and clever. This one was a great introduction for me. I will be aware now. Wink

25-Apr-15
At the Showgrounds for some showjumpingsts was a must do, Hmm first walk around I had complete cache blindness even though I was looking for something like that. Lucky Rusty85 had her eyes on, log was quickly signed, time for one more before Jumping starts. TFTC fav point from me.

25-Apr-15
Nice easy find for me but DiamonJs had cache kindness in this one, looked at the spot how many times, love your hides. TFTC

Nottinghamers, you have some of the coolest Geocaches we've come across! Well hidden & so crafty...although protected by a spider at the time, glad Mr Petalani found this one before me, lol!
Signed & re-hidden. TFTC!

06-Jun-14
Stopped for this one a few nights earlier but after a snake popped up in my face I lost the will to search this one out in the dark:/ geopartner a lot more brave.. however I insisted we try in the light:) good idea as it was not exactly n easy find, few places it cud be..so creative as usual Nottighammers!! TFTC! SL

Out with ness&kadin and their dad for the day.

Liked this one! Favourite point from me.

18-Apr-14
Kadin and I both had the day off and I convinced him to come geocaching for a couple of hours today.

Very cool hide which started off a mini streak of clever caches. Favourite point from us!

12-Apr-14
This one definitely had us both stumped,we were just about to give up and head home until I spotted something that didn't quite look right then BINGO we had the cache in hand
We were both very impressed with this hide

07-Apr-14
Out and about today looking to round up some caches that do not involve too much walking. This was my first stop for the day. I think my GPS was still catching up when I arrived because it had me searching the buidling near GZ at first. A quick check of the clue and my GPS had caught up and wanted me to move. The cache was soon located after that.

Another nice hide Nottinghamers Smile

17-Mar-14
It was a no show at the Mudgey for us so we looked harder and longer and that's when MrG spotted something that could give the whole show away. Awesome cache and a favourite for us. Your attention to detail is amazing, well done Nottinghamers.

06-Mar-14
Another beautiful afternoon after work heading around the Mudgeeraba area looking for caches. Big Grin
I started here and then went south. Big Grin
I soon found the tool but it took quite some time before finding the cache. Surprised
Another clever hide from the Nottinghamers. Cool
A fav point for this one.
Thanks for the cache.

18-Feb-14
A very clever hide. Took about 15 minutes to find. I found the "tool" straight away but was unsure what to do with it.
When I found the cache I didn't need to use it.

Very enjoyable
Thanks

15-Feb-14
First I would like to say thanks Nottinghamers for another wonderfully crafted cache. And for this another favorite point is heading your way.

Upon arriving at GZ I found Radnoski's "tool" within seconds. The cache "container" followed shortly after. It was extracted easily without the use of the aforementioned tool but given the location it may be required in the winner months perhaps. Another smiley for me and another huge thanks to the Nottinghamers! TFTC. SL.

12-Feb-14
Quick find no need for tool TFTC

01-Dec-13
Found the tool but thought it may have been the old cache spot. Read some more info to understand a bit better what we were looking for after almost giving up. The spider webs were hiding the cache but it was good fun. TFTC!

01-Dec-13
I set out on a mission today - 50 different caches in one day (sounds easy enough I know) but at least 1km apart from each other, as a partial requirement for GCQY6Q over on Rangitoto Island. My first thought was that this should be much easier in a new territory where I have not found many caches yet, plus we could turn it into a nice drive south to get a NSW souvenir Wink /dev/gc0c made an excellent navigator, carefully choosing cache after cache to satisfy the challenge requirements, and calmly putting up with a few wrong turns as I was getting confused between my right and left... We started just after 6.30am, and got back just before 9pm having completed the mission - and not forgetting about the one extra for the 50 consecutive days - plus one more just for good measure. We had great fun along the way, even though it turned out harder than expected to find them all and keep tiredness at bay - coffee (or hot chocolate) in suitable doses does help! [^] Big thanks to all the CO's of the conveniently placed caches, they contributed to an excellent day!!
This was a great cache, definitely a fav!!

27-Sep-13
Wow....2 Nottinghamers in 1 day! Woohoo. We rocked up to the GZ knowing that it wouldn't be a quick find....they never are lol....but we were confident we would have a win. Reading the logs...reading...reading...geomum found radnoski's extraction tool and at the very same time geodad found the cache. Definitely a favourite point from us. Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers Smile

22-Sep-13
Went for a big run down to Tweed Caldera area, picking up over 30 for the day. Caching with some of the little kids as is normal for me. Some fantastic caches, including a visit to Heinz Dam, and two earthcaches in total for the day. Visited so very nice scenic spots, had lunch out on the road, and did a bit of walking in fresh air. What else could you ask for... My thanks to all cacheo owners for placing and maintaining their hides.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another awesome Nottinghamers hide. Took a while to find this one. Just had to stand back and look, then, ahhh yeah... Nice one. TFTC. Fav point from me.

26-Aug-13
Oh the excitement finding another of Snotty Hammers hides in time before a pretty pink and cream sunset overtook me. This is one where you need to read co-ords, terrain rating, and Hint and I congratulate myself that I tied it all together. The grounds are lovely in late afternoon. Another favourite point goes west.

26-Aug-13
Remarkable when you realise Notinghamers have only a little over 100 finds. Yet the cache hides are among the best we have on the Gold Coast and consistently rate favourite points. I'll be out after another of their hides today to get the one-a-day for August 2013

23-Aug-13
#627. Well this one certainly had me stumped for quite a while and was about to score a DNF when I went back over recent logs and widened my search. Found the extraction tool and then the sneaky hide and cache. SL and put it all back. Hey, I'm using up all my favourites on Nottinghamers caches. Well done!

13-Aug-13
We are really enjoying your great caches - another hide that a lot of effort has gone into. We spent quite a long time in the fading daylight searching what we thought were the obvious features as suggested by the hint. Red Face When will we learn to trust the GPS[?] About to give up with little light left and we found Radnoski's 'tool' in a different location which set us on a different search path. Sure enough, there was the cache just waiting to be found. Glad to have got this tricky hide in the end! Thanks Nottinghamers

25-Jul-13
Geo Wife and I had some time to ourselves so after buying a Gumtree item down this way we worked our way back home with the few caches on this side we hadn't grabbed (mainly because they haven't been out there long)

We were unlucky in one way that the gates were locked but after reading Herbz comment we counted ourselves lucky all over so we parked safely and headed for GZ.

We searched in all the WRONG places and then studied previous logs and diverted our attention.

Geo Wife came up with Radnoski's device soon after and that narrowed our search for GZ.

Geo Wife again came up trumps when she spotted the very well camoflaged cache location.

It wasn't long then before we had the log in hand and were discussing the relative worth of a favourite point.

We both agreed that for the amount of work put in it just had to have a point.

Thanks Nottinghamers TFTC SL

Success! Found after a short search just before heading off to Perth Smile

30-Jun-13
Tried to get to this cache but the Mudgie show was on and wanted $15 entrance fee so decided to come back next time we're passing.

18-Jun-13
Wow that is one awesome camo job Nottinghamerz. I found radnoski's extraction tool but it took a bit longer to find the cache. You just gotta laugh when you see masterpieces like that. I really enjoy finding your caches. Thanks so much and of course you can have another favorite point.

03-Jun-13
Had a look today and adjusted the fit of the cache so it is easily accessible, although I have left Radnoski's 'tool' in case the weather has further detrimental effect. Thanks to Radnoski's for the note and happy caching!

02-Jun-13
On my way South to do some cache maintenance and stopped by this one for a look.

After a bit of search I spotted the likely hide but had a bit of trouble getting the "camo" to cooperate. (I blame the wet weather) I headed back to the car to grab an "cache extraction device" and returned.

The device did the trick and the camo was soon out of the way. Now where is the thing I had to sign? In my efforts to get to the cache I had launched the log container into the grass. After a bit of a search I had the little fellow in hand, although his colouring did not make it easy.

Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers. Another tricky one.

I hope it's OK, I left my makeshift "Cache Extraction Device" near the GZ under a rock.

Cheers!

30-May-13
I love the name of this one. Nyssaflutterby and I were grabbing a couple nearer the road on our way home and after parking for this one just inside the gates, we toddled towards GZ.

I had a suspicion what kind of thinking may lead us to the find here today, but it seems this time Nottinghamers bested us. We hunted high and low and got close and personal with the structure. I'm sure we can blame the angle of the sun or exhaustion or something Razz Next time I hope Smile

24-May-13
I drove in and parked, luckily there weren't any muggles around (except one riding a horse a bit further away). I spent some time at GZ, going round in circles. I did one last loop thinking it would be another DNF, then sighted the cache. Great camo! I retrieved the cache along with one hundred ants. They soon dispersed and I signed the log. Favourite point for your effort Smile

27-Apr-13
Pulled over on the roadside then realised we needed to go in. So geohubby walked in and we drove the car around to find some parking, an easy thing on market day. He had a 5 minute head start and we arrived he hadn't found it yet. I walked in and looked at a section then remembered this was a nottinghamers cache. I informed the others and we changed our thinking. I also changed my elevation and started again. Found it! I said and then geodaughter came around and found it quickly. Geohubby still took a minute as he's never seen your sneaky hides before and then he was impressed! Very nicely done and a great start to our day. Thanks!

On my way to Brisbane for work, had to find a cache to break the journey,Aussie Liahona pointed out to us that these Nottinghammer caches are all good ones,we are now fans.Picked this one out,and it did have me stumped for a while,it was starting to look like a DNF then started thinking crafty, and bingo. Here goes another favourit point. Not only the caches, but the locations are good also.TFTC.Nottinghammers.

18-Apr-13
I had to go to the vet next door to pick up some medicine for my dog and so decided to tackle this one.
A group of school children were being entertained by a light horseman on the field but I was able to search unnoticed.
This is definitely one of my favourite of all times. Well crafted Nottinghamers!!
