Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Stayedin Kingston for a few days and today heading through to Milang. Quick find. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Took a little bit to find but soon had it in hand. Making our way south to Robe today after camping nearby by the water
Find 4758 on March 1, 2024Day#4 on Fergzters trip to the Great Leap Forward Event. Today we begin heading home but still 2 days of geocaching to be had. All is well with the cache. TFTC Freddo and Tadpoles
15 years ago, i brought myself an Aussie made kayak, a Dagger Coorong. When i looked at the map and realised that we would be driving through the area my boat was named after i thought that was pretty cool. I didn't realise how beautiful it would be. I can't wait to be kayaking on the Coorong in a couple of weeks. Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. Picking up what we can in the time available. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that. Thanks Freddo and Tadpoles#15293
PCNBT TEAM on our trip to join our other caching friends in Adelaide for the Mega thanks for this cache we enjoyed doing this cache nice easy easy find thanks
Found with Paddle Chick and Nanzie on our road trip to Adelaide for the mega. Haven't been to this area before
On a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. Our first visit to South Australia.Travelling from Robe to Victor Harbour today. We stopped to make this find to tick off another LGA. An intriguing structure that doesnt appear to serve any purpose.TFTC
On the 14th of September, 2019, a youthful but slightly bored Otter googled geocaching. With 30 minutes he found his first cache, and the rest is history. As I commence my fifth loop of the calendar, Ive piled everything in the car and have no set agenda except to be back by the 20th. Should be fun.Im armed to the teeth with TOTTs, but none were needed here, I do hope that the cache is in the correct spot; I returned it to where I found it.Thanks for putting out this cache all those years ago Freddo and Tadpoles.
Do like this welcome sign. The cache blends in well too, only 1 loop tho before finding it! TFTC Freddo et al.
Stopped for a quick break and cache of course, I told myself you climbed a tree the other day, so l soon had the cache. TFTC
TFTC Freddo for your cache Welcome to The Coorong that we found today.
Today was a travelling day as we made our way to Tailem Bend From Kingston SE. Not to many on the route as it is a little difficult to park 14 metres of motorhome and toad on the side of some of these roads. Rest areas are our preferred on a travel day. Still managed to grab 7 caches before reaching Tailem Bend.
Find count : 15727

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Freddo for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Thanks for installing the access ramp Freddo. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Freddo

Clever hide! Took me a while to find. I even tried pulling up a rubbish bin to search the gutter. You just gotta think where you would hide a cache yourself. TFTC Freddo
Found with EsromL as we headed down the southeast for a few days of camping. Although geocaching wasn’t the purpose of the trip, we did grab a few caches of interest that were close to where we were going.

Staying at the Coorong for a couple of nights. Horrendously windy one day, perfect the next. Had a lovely paddle in my kayak this morning on the glassy, still Coorong then the wind came along so we decided to go for a drive and do some caching. Tftc.

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear,
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !

Today was my final day in the southeast region before heading back to Adelaide. A final cave dive was had, before then driving on to Millicent for the OzAdventure 2020 promotion event, geocaching along the way. After having a good chat and finding the geocaches around Lake McIntyre where the event was held, I then found a few need ladder geocaches on the highway back to Kingston, and made a slight detour out towards Robe. Although there was intermittent showers earlier, it was only here when the sky unloaded with heavy rain, and arrived back to Adelaide a little earlier than my forecast ETA.
I needed a rest break on the way back to Adelaide, and this was my final cache of the day. Under torchlight, I soon eyed the cache, and it was a fun retrieval. Thanks Freddo and his tadpoles!

A big weekend away down to the south east of the state, the major focus was to par take in the 100mile (160km) cycle classic around mount gambier on the Saturday. Along he way as always there and back I collected a few caches (near 100 on my round trip)

Before we left Robe today we picked up another few caches, that we didn’t take yesterday. As recommended we took the river ferry to Wellington to drive the nicer route to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island. On our way we logged some more caches. We arrived early and could catch an earlier ferry and a few boxes as well.
Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining the boxes.
Found and logged together with Swerik, Mikaching and GPS-Wickie.

Today we left Robe to head towards Kangaroo Island. We were not in a rush to catch the ferry and so we could stop here and there to sign a couple of logbooks and turn the green boxes in to yellow smileys.
