Saturday looked like a good day to come to manly and have a bit of reminiscing as we used to have a friend who lived there
Having walked to Shelly beach and back we decided the bubble dash might be fun. So why would two 72 year olds even think of doing this? No idea. Anyway with little blue hen clucking along beside me we did the 20 mins and nailed 11 bubbles. Bit of trouble at two sites where construction work screened what we were seeking but having got to the end of our allocated time we set off to gz. Foiled by a group of muggles doing some maintenance at the site so had to scuttle back to the ferry without signing in.

Found today with injeanious we had a great time racing around finding the bubblers. The final was great fun, we got a little wet but found the lig just fine. It was too wet to sign and Jean attached a picture. Thanks for the cache it gets a fav point from me!
We had fun dashing around collecting our bubbles. Despite travelling at a good pace we weren't quick enough to get 17. Nice hide, I like these sort of caches. Grateful there was a tap nearby. Logbook was too wet to sign, so have attached a pic. Tftc.
I was only able to get 12 not knowing the area well. The cache was tricky as well. Coords had me in a little different spot. But I was able to puzzle it out. TFTC
Great day for a mad Dash around Manly. Had lots of fun but unfortunately only found 11 in the time frame. Def worth a fav from us TFTC
We took a nice ferry trip to Manly today. It was nice weather to walk around and search some caches.

Shure during my stay I had to visit Bondi. Was here several years before. Aldi, Billabong and other stores are still here Not so much changed. But that's good as I like the beach and the shopping street. So I did this Wherigo and was happy to find it with the additional challenge.
Thanks /Danke for the idea and my first WherIgo in Australia.

Having walked some hours we arrived in Manly where we focused on this cache. Before having some food, we wanted to solve this WIG, despite the fact that we were already pretty hungry. Nevertheless, this WIG had prio #1 and we were hunting some bubblers until we got the information about the final location of the container. On-site it was quite difficult, so we were searching for quite a long time until we almost gave up. Finally, we found the correct thing and grabbed the cache. This was a lot of fun! At the end of the day two starved out fishis headed for 4 Pines to have some food and beer.

How did I missed it the first time??
I solved the puzzle a year ago. Was able to find the other one, but here at night.... it was nowhere to be found.
I knew what I had to do, i have similar caches in Sydney and Spain... but today!!
Oh yeah! Love at first sight!
Hahahaha
Well done! A nice spin into the concept

I completed this with plenty of time to spare, but I didn't do it all on my own. I'm not quite fit and fast enough. Or maybe I am selling myself short.
The hide: After two DNFs nearby, I was determined to find this. I went up I went down and eventually I saw something. It was a bit stinky but I extracted the cache.

As nobody could give me a good advice whether to visit Manly OR Bondi, I decided to form my own opinion and jumped on a ferry to Manly this afternoon. Apart from shopping and smoothie sipping, I was of course also after some caches . I was actually positively surprised about the good quality of the caches in Manly. After 15mins I had found 7 bubblers (one was very slow to react) and as I new I wouldn’t make the next 10 in 5mins, I stopped right there and went shopping . Eventually I went to the final and after figuring out where, what and how, I held the logbook in my hands [^]. Now there is a bright yellow smile on my map here too and I will leave a favourite point behind [^]. Thanks for hiding and maintaining .
This is really just a formality, after doing the dash in March 18 and completing it with 4 mins and 16 seconds remaining I wasn't able to complete the final hurdle...that is, find the cache!
Well Today I turned the frown upside down, not sure how I missed it the first time, but it was dark and just simply ran out of time.
Love how this one was constructed, took three back and forth attempts until the cache floated into view. Signed as best I could with a little cloud squiggle and reset it back for the next dasher.
Great cache , glad to knock it off finally. TFTC

Found this one tonight having been muggled out of it on a previous occasion. I deployed younger legs to find the twenty bubbles for me. I found the cache in good order except a lot of the names were very faded. Thanks Tyreless for the deployment and a Favorite point awarded Cheers
What a great Wherigo . A proper countdown timer with bonus boxes to find the more “bubblers” you find. Great idea by the CO [^]
I needed this Wherigo to help with a [Challenge Cache I am working on](https://coord.info/GC78XBR)... Seven cache types in each of Seven Countries - and this was my 7th cache-type in Oz
So today, I had 6 hours up my sleeve before my flight to Abu Dhabi from Sydney Airport - which was plenty of time to jump on the Manly Ferry from Circular Quay. Had the boy with me which made for good company during the cruise in Sydney’s gorgeous Winter Sunshine.
From the starting coords in Manly Cove, we were in no hurry, so only managed to amble around 10 of the various bubbly stages before the 20-minute countdown ran out and the Unlock Code popped up, as well as the Final coords.
At GZ, we bumped into one of the local “instructors” who knew about the Geocache and followed us over to make sure we were ok. Our new friend was most helpful with the aquatic task that followed. Job done. Then it was back to the ferry. Really enjoyed the stroll around Cabbage Tree Bay
All in all - a really awesome cache. Nicely done indeed.

Been holding this in the Must Do pile and today was another perfect winter's day to take the challenge. Managed to get it done in the required time and certainly wasn't dehydrated. So many bubblers! Great GZ and cache and a definite FP. TFTC
I left home at the crack of dawn to join some friends on a walk out to north head. Fortunately i arrived early enough to go caching. Even better i had enough time to do the bubbler dash!
I found all 20 in 18 minutes and 59 seconds. Considering i didn't have any coffee until my show walk to gz that was a good time for me.
Unfortunately my whereigo app crashed on the walk back and upon reopening the saved game , it hid the bonus cache gz.
Anyway the cache was well constructed compared to others of this type I've found before. If i could, thus would earn a double favorite point!
Thanks for the cache.

Geocaching day around Manly.
First Wherigo we finished. It was a lot a fun and perfect for this sunny but cold day. We found 18 bubbler dash !
At GZ we found the last tap of fresh water of the day. But what's next ? We found something behind few bins. And then we have just to do it !
+1FP because of the challenge of the wherigo.

Very first Wherigo along with ReverseG which deserves a fav point. Sprinted towards the finish line with 40 minutes to spare after having taken the left hand branch along Manly beach. Was able to get the additional clue to the Bubbler Squire Mystery as well! TFTC!
While we were in Manly, we decided to take on this, as both Foreignnebula and I had not done a WhereIGo cache before. With the timer kicking we started with a brisk walk past bubbler after bubbler (sorry, Nebula - “drinkler”) and decided to gamble on taking on the northern beach route to get the minimum bubblers needed for the second cache coordinates. With about 90 seconds to go and one bub- drinkler left, we upped the speed, making it to the final bubbler with about 40 seconds left. We hobbled over to the side to catch our breath as the timer finally ticked down, and we then got our coordinates. At GZ, we were presented with an awesome cache to play around with, and we managed to grab the log after a couple of tries. Log was signed and returned, and we were off to the next cache! Fave!
Found with Foreignnebula!

Took way, way longer to get to the respective GZs than to do this dash! On the plus side, I really know Manly! And it was fun dashing around. Thanks from Canada .

On holiday with the family (Barking Bron & Super O) doing a tour from Sydney along the coast to Melbourne and on to Adelaide.
We spent the day in Manly today mostly on the beach, but we did have time to pick up some of the local caches whilst we were there.
Whilst in Manly this was top of our priority list, being a new icon for the caches found so far in Australia. We had good fun finding the bubbler's and then it was off to ground zero where after reading the hint carefully we ventured in and found the cache container, then it became clear what we had to do and in short order we had the log book in hand.

Unfortunately just too many party muggles around in the late evening and I looked a little dodgy flashing my phone torch and trying to squirt my bottle around !
I’ve added the corrected coordinates as a reminder to make sure we come back and attempt the final challenge of actually finding the cache.
I had a lot of fun today, and this was the icing on the cake.
Thanks again !

The itinerary today was the (long, tiring) Fisher's Bay coastal walk all the way to Manly Beach. The sights here were not as spectacular as at Bondi yesterday, and the weather was quite a bit warmer, but we still had a good time on the hike. More caches perilously close to cliffs, and more wonderful views of property we will probably never in our life times be able to afford Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining these caches -- we had a few DNFs, but were successful on the most part. Individual remarks are under the line.

Another cache recommended by one of our friends before we came out here. We decided to take it easy and not go for the bonus -- not that we would have made it the first time anyway, because we missed a bubbler and had to backtrack a long way to get it once we realized that nothing else was triggering. Anyhow, we got more than what we needed to unlock the final, where we found a neat setup that we'd encountered a few times before. Dashing and caching are natural partners, so thanks for this fun setup

Temporarily off-line while I carry out some minor repairs to the cache container.
It appears that the container is not attached as intended and a minor bit of maintenance required to restore its proper function.

I can't believe its been nearly 18 months since I did the dash. On that occasion, we were running short on time and the car was parked a long way from GZ so we had to leave finding it for another day.
Back to Manly for lunch with friends today and I made finding this cache a priority. Got to GZ where there was quite a lot of activity. Waited for the right moment and spotted something that I was expecting quite quickly. However, I don't believe it is correctly positioned at the moment. This made signing the log much easier than would otherwise be the case.

#1636 on a day out with alnic39, teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC over in the Manly area wanting to see how we went. We started but it was getting hot and I started to wish I had Zalgariath's trusty steed, with all the bubblers along the way I think I picked the wrong ones for refreshment as they were more dribbler than bubbler. I was probably a bit late by the time I caught up with the rest. We got the coords for the final and soon we found the spot and it was an easy retrieval of the cache but we didn't have to do what the hint said
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition, but may not be where it is supposed to be according to the hint. Thanks for the wherigo Tyreless

Out with JJCC, phlphotos and alnic39 today on a cache run targeting some caches for the day in order to fill in some requirements for a challenge cache series (USG) down in Canberra. This particular cache was high on our radar due to it being a wherigo cache. This one was a little different as we were racing against the clock. Lots of people in Manly today which added to the difficulty in locating some of the bubblers. In the end we found all 20 with 30 seconds to spare. Making our way to GZ we couldn't initially see anything, but then looking from above we spotted something whihch warranted further investigation. Walking up we spotted the GC logo, so knew we had the correct container. With the cache in hand we all signed the log before replacing as found. The cache container and log are in an good condition. Thanks for this special cache type Tyreless.

With the guidance to the team leaders, I get myself more qualifications for the UGC. Studying for a university degree is hard, but it's great when you have good tutors. This one was thirsty work.
We came to Sydney by cruise ship and stayed for three days. On the first day we visited Manly, walked around and looked for some caches.
We like Wherigo Caches very much and so we made this one. It was fun running through Manly and getting the bubblers. Sorry, I have forgotten how much time we needed...
At the final coordinates we had no luck.
No lady in the office but a lot of muggles around... So we couldnt search undisturbed.
Thanks for the nice WIG and greetings from germany!

Together with Soukousa on our cruise along the west coast, we strolled through town looking for plastic boxes. The WIG was quite nice to make. Unfortunately the final place was totally blocked by muggles and no access possible at all. So we used the received data and went on to the bonus. TFTC!

Finally another Wherigo - they have become so rare.
Nearly running through Manly we managed to get 12 bubblers and earned our co-ordinates. The next time we‘ll get the 17
At the final location a really nice bloke helped us as we were really insure if we had found the correct location.
Great work with the method of retrieving tue cache. Nice idea that we’ll perhaps copy at home in Austria.

15,306. Found during a trip up to Sydney with minniek on the hunt for some Wherigo and Virtual caches - plus whatever else we could grab along the way.
I recently looked and saw that my Wherigo finds were quite low, and so with a number available up in Sydney plus a few of the new Virtuals around as well minniek and I headed up for a rarer cache type weekend.
Day 3 and we had our eyes on completing 2 more Wherigos before heading home. This was the second for the day. What a nice hot hot day to complete a timed Wherigo chasing Bubblers ! Lol. Grabbed about 11 before heading back to the car for GZ. Managed the mechanics of retrieving the cache nice and easily. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off home.
Thanks Tyreless !! FP of course !!

Headed to Sydney with fitzy_1965 for a weekend away with the aim of getting as many wherigos and virtuals as we could. Ended up with 7 WIG's and 2 virtuals on a super hot summers weekend.
Last find for our trip and certainly a lot quicker than most. Managed to choose a 40+ degree day to go finding bubblers and had no time to stop for a drink. Ended up with 11 finds in the timeframe then headed back to the car to drive around to GZ. Thankfully took enough of what was needed to make the cache appear. No-one was in the office today (closed). Lots of muggles walked by but none the wiser.

Day 7 in Sydney.
I went snorkel in Shelly beach on Dec. 28th then found this interesting wherigo cache nearby. Since I still had a bit time before next schedule, I walk around to find bubblers and got the coordinate for the final. However, I didn’t go for it cuz I need to meet a friend within an hour at Milsons Point.
Fortunately, today after the kayaking event at Pittwater, I was able to swing by to find the cache before taking a ferry back to town. I’ve seen this type of container on YouTube and I always wanted to find a cache like this. I’m grateful that this cache provide the special experience and I’m glad I came back for it.
This cache definitely worth a favorite point. I enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks a lot for this interesting and creative cache!

Completed all of bubbler dash in 17 mins at 6 seconds. Will be backs soon to find the cache
Running around Manly on a Sunday morning was kind of fun, but Sydney weather was a bit crazy today. Anominous Sign and I got all the bubblers with 4mins spare. We were very sweaty, but luckily we knew where the bubblers are located now, so rehydration wasn't a problem. I ended up pouring water on Anominous Sign's head when I was trying to get the cache. It was a great container. Thanks for the cache. We had a lot fun today.
Sandysa and I started and ended our day with this cache. We decided to run the course and completed it with a few minutes to spare, but covered in a mix of sweat and sunscreen. Good thing we now knew where to find a few bubblers! Our first whereigo cache and a good intro to this type of cache. Thanks for that! The container itself was a brilliant design too! Took us a while to find it but once we did, we knew what to do. Well, I thought we did, but Sandysa ended up pouring half a container of water on my head. Accident? Hmmmm, I'm not so sure . It was a hot day though, so I wasn't too distraught . Thanks for the brilliant cache. Definitely worth a favourite point!
Awesome idea. A definite FP for this one. We only managed 7 in the 20 minutes, only because we did not realise we had to go back to the missed one.
Thanks for the cache Tyreless
The cut and paste bit.
We are on a trip from South Africa to the Eastern hemisphere. First stop was Singapore to visit family including a weekend trip to Batam Island, Indonesia. After that we flew to Brisbane, Australia, drove down to Sydney and then we go back to Singapore. A week with our children and grandchildren and then back home via a stop over in Dubai.
Thanks to all the COs that made our trip more enjoyable. Greetings from South Africa

My son had a birthday party at Manly, and while waiting for him I decided to find some of the longer-form caches in the area, given I don't usually have an opportunity and I had somehow (bizarrely) lost my bathers between home and Manly .
The party was very near the start of the WIG, so I was soon on my way! I had run a 10km run in the morning, but still had some energy to keep up the pace. I had a few problems with the first few, with the cartridge not registering a few of the bubblers and forcing me to retrace my steps, which took up valuable time, but when I got half way I decided I had time to get all of them, including those in the "wrong" direction. The locations are accurate and the questions easy, so I didn't have trouble finishing the full set in time - 17 min 45 seconds.
I then headed off to GZ, gathering clues for a nearby multi on the way, and was soon at GZ. It took me a little while to figure out what I needed to do - nice variant on a theme. I soon had CIH, so signed and replaced before heading on.
Thanks for a fun wherigo / cache with a difference.

What an awesome experience Loved every minute of it! Plus only my 3rd where-i-go ever and their always great fun.
I ran around finding bubblers but somehow missed two :/ I still ended up getting 18/20 in less than half the allocated time! 9 mins 30 secs!
I noticed there was no way to end the cartridge so I had to wait it out for 10 mins while walking back to the starting point, hoping the cache wasn't near the end and I would have to turn around.
At GZ there were a few muggles around so I let them know what we were up too (they worked there so I assumed knew about the cache) and soon retrieved the cache after a few attempts, would of been impossible alone so lucky I brought someone along to help me as it took a few gos
TFTC! A big favourite point here, not just for the cool cache at GZ but also the fun run I had, think this is the first time I have ever been timed finding a geocache!

You might want to enable this cache! You have just performed a maintenance but it still comes up as disabled, therefore people won't come to find it
This was fun - and not that easy at the end.
Did this WhereiGo together with DoriSingha and Catty0902.
Sorry for the late logging (after our return from Down under).

I need to get a new container and it will take a couple of weeks. Maybe you can do some training runs while you're waiting for the cache to come back on line.
I found this one together with Michael60 and Catty0902. We only got 13 bubblers. We missed two because we ran and saw to late, that there had been a question to answer. And at the end we were few meters away from the next two. The final was also not easy.
Thanks for the Cache.

Nice trip by ferry from Circular Quay to Manly.I likes this area, very nice and relaxing.
Very funny game and really nice cache. I had a lot of fun there with the stuff at... First man doesnt know what geocache is and what I am searching for but another man yes. Really nice idea +FP
Thank you!

In Sydney today to try to grab a few of the more rare D:T combos. A few of us in the Hunter are for some reason challenging ourselves to loop the D:T grid at least 5 times. Madness!
Anyway, this is one less that I need, or for the D:T but for a challenge in which I need more of this type. The related unknown also helps me work towards filling out my D:T grid entirely with puzzles/unknowns. Only a few to go now.
Thanks for the exercise. I'll admit I never expected to make it - I'm a large unit and it's a rare event for me to break into a trot, let alone run - and never in jeans and a jumper in the manly foreshore! I must have looked a treat!
Got there in the end, 20 down with 21 seconds to spare. Thought the final was a clever finish too. Sadly my pen (felt tip) struggled on the log in the wet. Uploaded photo. Definite FP. TNLN TFTC

Wow. It was really funny experience
First, the run and then this GZ....
My first time on Manly Beach and I was in such a hurry!
I had to walk same route back, but slower to see it better.
Thanks a lot. Im leaving Fav point.

Visiting Sydney to celebrate my mum's 70th and checking out Manly this morning.
Took the challenge with the mrs and kids in tow so was only able to collect 12 before time ran out but I was happy with securing the coords. While the family ate lunch I headed to the final and was pleased to find all the tools I needed close at hand.
Thanks for a novel concept.
Favourite point for sure.

Worked this WIG today while I'm n Manly. We got 12 bubblers before our time ran out. Long walk to GZ and made find near dark. Area all quiet. TFTW. Good fun.
Unless I am mistaken I've cracked the top of the leaderboard! Ticked off all 20 Hydro-spitters in a time of 10:05! This was achived via having good local knowledge, a keen eye... and a new bike Before you ask, no, I didn't fly down the Corso in contradiction to local legal requirements, I jogged along wheeling the bike with me. However it certainly helped on the final stretch! (...and to get to GZ).
I've been meaning to do this and "Silence in the Library" for a long time, but I moved away from the Beaches a few years ago and don't make it out this way often. Today an appointment brought me over and it was a perfect sunny day for a ride. The bike got me all over town quickly and I managed this, the bonus and Tinkle with ease.
The dash was exhilarating and final was excellent. Great views all the way and a top excuse to get some exercise. Nominated it for the GCNSW GOTM for May 2017. ALl is well, even if I had to restart once due to the cartridge crashing on me but that happens sometimes with WIG. I was only 3 bubblers in so not hard to retrace my steps. Photo evidence attached! Cheers Tyreless, one of your best.

Honestly - dashing was not on my plan today but I decided to give it a try anyway. So I strolled from one bubbler to another and soon found out the system wants me to do them in order... so I had to go back and lost even more time. In the end I had found 11 - could have stopped after a while as this would have been enough to find the final, but I wanted to find out what was possible without any stress
When I came to GZ it was already getting dark. No one to be seen in any office so I could search. Soon I saw something suspicious and after another short stroll was able to sign the logbook.
Thanks for this Wherigo with the grand finale, Tyreless!

Well this one was loads of fun-what an adventure!! Definately one I'll remember As ZimbaW said, we were racing around like lunatics with people pointing and smiling at the hounds & no doubt wondering what the hell was going on. Our second attempt had us running short of time as we needed to be somewhere else and so ZimbaW went back to the start while I waited with the hounds nearby as we would only slow down proceedings. I remember her saying "You'll need to keep an eye out for me and get ready to fly" and I sure as hell did-the anticipation was palpable...and, here she comes-RUN!!! So much fun. Thanks so much for the cache Tyreless, fave point from me

My first wherigo and on my list to do before I left Sydney and headed back South to Queanbeyan. Miz Wacket and I had a couple of attempts at this one...and we were a a sight I'm sure tearing around Manly. Me with the Ridgeopup on lead who thought she'd take every opportunity to take a snap at a pigeon as we madly rushed along the Esplanade. And Miz Wacket who has her gorgeous and ancient geopup on a trolley because she's a bit slow on the old pins - who would occasionally lose control of said trolley and crash it into the back of my legs while I'm trying to stop the RP from slaughtering a bird in front of the tourists!!! [:o)][:o)]
Day 1 and we missed a bubbler and were about to start again when the skies opened and we had to retreat back to the inner East (where, weirdly, the sun was shining). Day 2 we had to abort half way because the PPC did not have enough memory left. But after trashing some photos and podcasts we were finally able to complete 15 of the 20.
GZ was great fun too. So much water every where but no time to stop and drink, we finally were able to stop congratulate ourselves and have a long guzzle from the nearby tap. Thanks for the cache, Tyreless.

During a 10-day roadtrip from Melbourne to Sydney to meet up with CT_ZA I enjoyed some sightseeing and obviously a lot of caching along the way .
Having arrived in Sydney it was time to seek out some of the more interesting caching spots around the CBD and the waterfront. Perfect sunny weather every day this week has made for great outings.
I completed the wherigo successfully yesterday but ended up with a DNF at GZ searching in the dark. I returned today in bright sunshine, for a very quick find this time .
Thanks for the fun wherigo, Tyreless.

After a dismal fail at locating a (wherigo) kangaroo nearby I needed some refreshment. So a full house of 20 bubblers it was - how refreshing !.
Nothing likely at GZ that I could see, though, but it was dark and I was reluctant to use a torch to avoid curious muggles.
I'll be back in daylight for this one. TFTH.
(Bonus co-ords for the nearby mystery - woohoo! My only find in Manly for the day.)

After finding some bubbles with Tumbalalaika i stood confused at gz without any lady visible. But after some minutes i tried something and the hint became clear...Then it was easily finished. Thanks a lot for this nice Wherigo!
5/4/17 - woohoo, so this was my first Wherigo and another one off the list of different types of cache in a forge in country. I had an issue with the timer since I accidentally quit the app when ordering a coffee. Anyway, ran to another bubbler to reactivate. Soon had the coords after I figured out where it went on the app. Arriving at GZ I made myself familiar with the lady nearby as per the hint and soon had cache signed after two trips to the nearby tool I needed to retrieve. Thanks for my first Wherigo. Tftc FP added
Competed 12 in the dash. I was distracted by beach - I live inland; it's a real novelty. On my way back to GZ I got sidetracked by a failed Manly Dr Multi. And then, a downpour started immediately upon arriving at GZ. Was getting so saturated so I turned for the ferry fast. I was really looking forward to doing this too! I might try to return before leaving the area Sunday.
I have had a couple of memorable trips to Manly and this cache made my third trip here most memorable - and sweaty. At least at GZ a fitting end had my feet cool down. A great way to check out parts of Manly you wouldn't otherwise see. Fav. tftc
This was my first Wherigo cache, or successful find, to be more precise. I was using the WhereYouGo app on an ASUS 7 "phablet". The software seems to work well -- the phablet isn't the greatest, and since I had the touch-screen replaced last year it's been really difficult to work with because the screen is so unresponsive. However, despite that little handicap I was able to negotiate this cache successfully and see how this type of cache works.
My previous attempt at a Wherigo had been in the city centre in Cape Town, South Africa. Alas, the tall buildings wreaked havoc with the GPSr signal on the phablet and I couldn't get close enough to even the first target for it to register and let me proceed. Hardware, I'm sure, not the app.
Anyway, it was great fun to see things working as I approached the start of the adventure, and then how easily I was able to pick up subsequent waypoints. Since I was essentially just trying out this new type of cache I didn't worry too much about the time limit. At a brisk walking pace I still managed to find 12 of the bubblers. That was enough to get the co-ords for this cache, but not for the Bubbler Squirt. Perhaps, the next time I'm in Manly again I'll do a real dash and see whether I can find them all in the allotted time.
Once I had the co-ords for the actual container I fetched my Garmin GPSr to hunt it down. The GPSr in the phablet isn't quite up to the job, or so I suspect. After a bit of head-scratching near GZ I decided to have a look on the other level and spotted the contraption. Now I knew what to do -- I've encountered this type of hide before. In fact, there was one in Robertson, South Africa, with a very mean twist that requires at least two pairs of hands. Even so, that nasty one almost beat me in the end because a spider had spun a web in a strategic place and the parts that had to move couldn't. Good thing I usually carry my MacGuyver knife with me. Glad to say, no such problems in this case.
Following the instructions I had the final container in hand very quickly and managed to sign my name on the plastic logsheet with a ballpoint pen.
Great cache all round, with a fun adventure and a nifty final challenge to get at the logsheet. I hope to do a few more Wherigo caches in future.

Today we headed down to Manly to have a go at the Bubbler Dash. Parked the geomobile on the Manly beachfront (no need for parking fees thanks to last years’ council merger ) and then walked over to the starting location near the Manly Art Gallery. Started the Wherigo app on the ipad and, with the stopwatch now running, we all charged off to the first bubbler.
With that one registered it was on to the next, and the next, and the next. Worked our way through the various bubblers, and answering a few questions along the way, until we reached number 10. At that point geomum (owner & operator of our ipad device) was struggling with the hectic pace and, with our time rapidly running out, it was decided that I should take the ipad and continue at top speed to attempt to finish the dash before the clock stopped.
Managed to reach the final (20th) bubbler but, with the stopwatch still running, I was asked one final question. I knew the answer but didn’t know how to bring up the onscreen keyboard to enter it. A very frustrating moment that cost us several minutes in time as I desperately fiddled around with the unfamiliar device. Anyway I finally figured it out, input the answer, and completed the dash with 1 minute & 46 seconds remaining on the stopwatch, so total time taken was 18 minutes & 14 seconds.
By this time the rest of the vk2df geofamily had joined me at the finish line, and we all sat around for a while to recover from the run and to load the Garmin GPSr (well at least I know how to drive that device) with the coords for the final cache location. It was a fair distance over to the cache so we opted to drive, hoping to find a parking spot nearby.
We were lucky to grab a parking spot not too far from the cache location, so we parked the geomobile and headed over for a look. On arrival we spotted something interesting and, on closer inspection, confirmed that we had located the outer “camo” of the cache. Soon figured out what we needed to do, so did those things and was rewarded with CIH. At this point we realised that we had forgotten to bring a pen, so had to borrow one from the friendly staff in the nearby office, and we were then able to sign the log sheet. Everything was then replaced (reset) as we had found it.
Thanks Tyreless for the fun, albeit exhausting, dash and for the cache. Worthy of a Favourite point from us.

I actually did the dash two weeks ago, while down from Canberra for work. Due to time constraints, I collected the Bubbler Squirt then. But today, I planned to collect the Dash. From logs it sounded like fun.
My comments on the WhereIGo and chasing bubblers is from my previous entry. The WhereYouGo (android version) downloaded fine onto my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge and it worked brilliantly throughout the Dash. I decided to head right when I got to the beach side, then doubled back along the beach to the last bubbler. I was breathing a bit by the time I finished the twentieth, but still had some time up my sleeve, 8 minutes and 7 seconds left (so Total time was 11:53). WhereYouGo Log is attached with my Bubbler Squirt entry.
After work in North Sydney, I dropped the bags at the hotel and walked to GZ. Now, what could I see that looked interesting. I started in the wrong area and looked for something else that held water - it was actually part of the drainage system, so I backed off!! Then I spied the object. Didn't take long to complete the mission, although with care as I still had suit pants and shoes. Great concept. TFTC Tyreless

What an excellent time! We came out here for a surf lesson and to relax on the beach. We ended up making this our only find in manly. Thanks for the effort in putting this together. The final is very inventive!!! TFTC!
We made a mistake and had to backtrack a bit. We only got 12 bubblers.
Tried to do this cache today but unfortunately no amount of trying could I get the file loaded onto my phone. I was without my gps but was hoping to do this for my 700th find. It obviously wasn't meant to be. Looks like to need to use a computer first.
I had been meaning to do this cache for quite a few years but the fear of trying to crash through people on the corso had stopped me. So today was the day. Clearing rain and an early start meant it shouldn't be too busy so the placement of bicycle between someone's but cheeks had a lower chance of happening, but with so many wanders around here it was difficult to not deliberately do it.
Started off, I think it read I had found 5 when I actually found the second then when I got to the next one it said I had missed some so back I went and then at the end it took forever to do the last 5. I did need to return over a km to pick up a couple of missed one. Got them done so picked up the bonus coordinates.
Loved the idea but would have preferred a safer location.
Loved the final idea and the thought that the final container could be a water transporter as well.
A favourite from me. Tftc sadly the paper isn't too receptive to stamps or pen. Did my best and on the trash can lid.

Awesome concept. Did the dash after a nice lunch. Took me ages to find the answer to the first question. A huge d'oh moment when the penny finally dropped but I guess that's what time pressure can do. Then made a strategic error half way through but still managed to find 18 bubblers before time ran out. Unfortunately our time in Manly also ran out so we did not have a chance to try our luck at GZ. Will return another day.

Awesome idea. I had high expectations of this from the description... and it sure lived up to the hype. Started off in tandem with klbooth, legoman9494, landyman and Pinkducks, and Mrs Prime` who was trying to look normal and ignoring us ... the girls were targeting just 7 bubblers with no running. Us boys intended to go at least to 17. Sadly though I crashed and burned pretty early on (Samsung Note5 Android, normally does OK on these - no matter). So once we hit seven I grabbed her phone and we set off at pace. Answered some more questions - we got them all right. Made a wise decision on direction at the beach --- and hit 17 with 3 minutes to go. Ran back to try and nab the last ones but ran out of time. But that's ok ... 17 was the target.
Once we stopped puffing, we picked up the bonus squirt, and then headed to the final where the whole family had fun (perhaps more fun than was intended, but don't mind getting a little wet ourselves)- we made the cache go pop! and logging followed. All good here. Now though we are hot, panting, and out of water ... if only we knew where a bubbler was ................[:o)]
Thanks for placing this cache, Tyreless. Found in good condition. A definite favourite for the concept, the icon, the adventure, the challenge, and location. And all the other bits too. Cannae ever have too much fun eh?

I had spotted this one at home before leaving on our adventure, always like the idea of 2 for 1 , big bruv thought it equally fun so we put it in the list to explore when we did our "ferry day". So, that was today, it was perhaps a little later then we had first planned by the time we got to Manly but we were primed for the hunt. With 2 devices capable of running the wherigo between us we figured we had it in the bag. We sussed out the area, saw the plan and decided on the action, the boys were keen and still energetic so they were going to run, we the girls were frankly pooped after a hard days walking and touristing with various toes and joints shouting unhappy thoughts at us, so we decided to go steady and just see how far we got.
So off we set, the boys raced ahead but we weren't far behind and very soon we seemed to go round in circles then there was drama in the boy camp, the wherigo had crashed, oh dear, still, we were still going so we continued with our spotter who was leading the way until we got to the promenade, geoteen spotted the beach and that was as far as she was prepared to go. So I handed over my phone (cheap crappy thing compared to Pprime's posh samsung I might add ) and sat down to watch the geoteen end up getting wet as she misjudged an incoming wave..... sigh..... It wasn't long and the boys came back puffing, they had got the 17, YAY!!!!
We scrutinised the coords and decided to grab the bonus first then headed to this one. A short search at ground zero revealed the suspicious item and then the fun began with doing what was needed without getting soaked!!!! We got there and were rewarded with a cache container!!! Log is soaked but it is plastic paper so we just signed with Pprime's magic pen.
Thanks so much for a fun experience, it was definitely a case of bubblers, bubblers everywhere and not a drop of water to drink........ no time for any of that when you have a stopwatch going on!
Log signed the 4B's to include Landyman123, Pinkducks, Legoman9494 and myself.
All in good order, thanks for the cache!!!

What a fun wherigo! But what a pity I couldn't find the box.
I reached 8 bubblies, with time to spare.
However, we reached GZ after hours and sunset, with no one in sight at the office. I saw an installation that looked plausible, but it lacked anything linking it to geocaching. Found a nearby source and made a few attempts to follow the guidelines. But nothing significant happened and not wanting to destroy anything, I gave up. Felt like I was somewhat trespassing.
I was happy to get the final coordinates and what seemed to me good hints after the 20 minutes. So I just punched the coords into the GPS and followed it. I forgot to check the wherigo app at GZ. Would it have given me some more help, possibly?
Hope I didn't destroy anything. Pity on such a great idea. I guess I won't make another attempt. Norway is a bit too far from Manly.

After staying at the Q Station over the weekend, I completed the whereigo cartridge yesterday afternoon after exploring North Head yesterday morning and early afternoon. I stopped by to grab this one before departing back home. It wasn't long before I found the sneaky hide and knew exactly what needed to be done. A little tricky with a lot of passing muggles, but I soon had the log signed and the container safely reassembled. A favourite for me. Thanks Tyreless
I spend many hours at zoo and after that I came here by boat. First I found one tradi just next to starting.
OMG how funny was this

Definitely a favorite! I enjoyed the walk and then I arrived at GZ I saw already the woman in her office. I really was thinking damn I don't like that but in the other hand the hint says that I should introduce myself to her. Okay let's do it. This lady is really nice and she was really happy that I told her what I am doing, so be not afraid to tell her that you are looking for the cache. The idea for the cache was also new for me and all together I really enjoyed this one.
Captain Terror and I were in Sydney for a conference so we extended our trip for a few days so we could grab some geocaches. This wasn’t the first time I had been to Sydney but it was a first for Captain Terror. We made a list of geocaches that we wanted to find which were mainly rare icons and those geocaches in spots that we wanted to visit. We landed in Sydney this morning and after checking into the hotel caught the train to Circular Quay to start our geocaching adventure.
I visited Manly a few years ago and had a lovely time walking down to Shelly Headland. Today we weren't going to spend as long here as it was getting late in the afternoon and we still had a letterbox to find. WE arrived at Manly and started this wherigo. We didn't have any issues and soon enough we were approaching the final location, where it took us slightly longer than it should have to find the container but before too long we had our names in the logbook. Thanks for the cache Tyreless.

Net88 and I were in Sydney for a conference, but why not have a few extra days to see the city, ride some ferries and find a few geocaches. It was the first time I've ever been this far south, so it was a new experience for me and indeed, the only big city besides Brisbane I've ever been to. Our geocache targets were carefully picked, mostly rare types and a few old hides. Today is our first day and we wound up finding eight types - Multicache, Earthcache, Unknown, Virtual, Traditional, Webcam, Wherigo and Letterbox Hybrid. Not bad for two Queenslanders with only an opal card and two feet each. Once the plane had landed, the train caught to the motel and we'd checked in, it was time to grab the GPSr and head out.
We had finished wandering around Circular Quay and by now realised we could get our eight types. We needed a Wherigo, but these are all at Manly. Well then, we have to go to Manly. We hopped on the famous ferry and enjoyed sailing by the mouth of the harbour where the ocean swell rolled the boat around. I was thankful we'd carefully picked through the Wherigos on offer and had added all the cartridges to my Garmin Oregon 550.
As it turned out, this was the closest and easiest looking Wherigo. We were getting a bit sick of walking by now and it looked like fun to go for a bubbler dash. Indeed I had happened upon this listing many, many moons ago and have looked forward to it. Now though, with sore feet, we might just chase a bare minimum and look at more bubblers next time.
On our walk around Manly, we had an enjoyable time. People fishing, jogging, swimming, surfing and so on. Such activity for a weekday evening - even if the daylight savings is messing with my mind. We even took advantage and filled our empty waterbottles as we went. No troubles with running the cartridge and we were headed for the final location without any drama. Except that we did have to double back some distance thanks to our own miscalculation.
Then it took an oddly long amount of time just to find the geocache. Nobody around - not even the office lady. We did what had to be done and happily signed the logbook. All in good condition here! I do love a Wherigo and this one went well. I'll be back for the others no doubt. We carried on enjoying Manly until almost sunset, including a great meal at some local pub. Thanks for this geocache, Tyreless

I was truly looking forward to this cache in Manly because the dash seems so fun. I had overestimated my ability in running around, but I managed all but one waypoint, and 18 out 20. Received both coordinates, but the bonus was a little nearer to the end of the dash, so did that first.
Made my way to the final for the Bubbler Dash, and based on the hint, I already expected the type of final cache that I would see. I filled up on the way over, but I needed one more. Fortunately, water was at hand nearby. Filled her up and cache in hand. Logsheet was difficult to write on, but I managed. TFTC and an FP for such a delightful WIG, I wish I could give multiple points!
