Another spiderweb infested bit of bush, but at least I got the cache. TFTC Team Sunderland
A quick stop on my way to Newcastle today for a weekend with caches, park run and adventure labs. Good camoTFTC Wilbert67
Plenty of spiders at GZ and through the bush so navigating to the cache was tricky. Cherryfromtheblock came up with the goods once again, picking the camo. I like this one. We discussed that total recall was an Arnie movie… we think? I recall it’s something about space? I do not have total recall. I will see if i can watch it tonight on one of my streaming services. TFTC
DNF from a couple years ago avenged - now with a better GPS device, I realised I wasnt searching deep enough. Today, the new gadget led me to right on top of the hide location - lucky for me my sharp eyes spotted the camo. Nicely made TS.
TFTC!

Hard bush bash to the GZ started looking under rock ledges and spotted something that didn’t fit in with the bush setting, yes CIH
If someone wants to bring a small baggy to protect the log that would be really kind! TFTC!
Great camouflage but it didn't fool Eco Hux! Had us scrambling for a few minutes but excellent hide and find. Thanks for another good one!
Found this exposed near where lots of bush care has taken place. Log and inside was wet, so I dried it out as best as I could and replaced with spare sheet. Then hid it under the rock ledge, hopefully out of sight. TFTC
Catching up on logging all my finds since i joined in July. Tricky to put back in but cool camo.. Tftc!
A really cool idea. Discovered the camo first but unfortunately the cache had fallen out but was soon discovered on the ground nearby. The container has gotten wet previously and the original log is not in good condition but a previous finder has popped in some new paper. I managed to get the container back in its camo but not sure it's going to stay as it's no longer fitting snugly the other thing of note is that GZ is now a regeneration area so please be careful making your way to the cache. This one might need a check by CO. Tftc!
Very good cache, unfortunately it’s in pretty bad shape but still a good find!
Found this back in April 2015 and favourited this. Came back today to show BarberBlackSheep and sadly the cache was not quite how I remembered it. I moved it slightly to add a bit more excitement to it as it was just laying there in plain sight.
In the area for some cloudy Sunday afternoon geocaching. Have to say we were a bit disappointed to find this one in its present condition. Although you can still admire the workmanship, it’s clear that it is not in the same state that it started over seven year ago. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We expected a huge wave of caches to be uploaded today due to lifting restrictions, but woke to no notifications. After waiting around for an hour or so, being ready to cache we left the house and headed out to the Crestwood area. Many of the caches seemed to have great amounts of favourite points (even though theres a fair few with DNF strings) Here we are... (p.s. a new cache was published in the EXACT area we were in half the day caching, just as we were on the way home, so no FTF for us)
---
We were having good fun so far so we decided to extend it with a few more finds. We parked closer and walked along the path until the entrance. With the title TOTAL RECALL, we were weary to look for the exact same hide as the previous. We expanded our search in the area that had recently planted trees and I touched the camo. It didnt work as intended as the container "fell out" as I picked up the camo. No worries though because we dont even know if we would have ended up finding it pheww. We put the container back firmly so the next cacher can get the full experience.
FYI the container must have been exposed to moisture at some point because the log is wet and ripped. We managed to sign the log though.
TFTC!

Was a little tedious getting to GZ, but once near enough it was an easy find. TFTC!
Found with Anominous Sign on 1/03. I spotted this one while Anominous Sign was busy making friends with local spiders.
We walked past the cache at first, looking here and there. I was still searching in other crevices, getting acquainted with the local spiders when Sandysa made the find.
Very nice camo. My favourite of the day. FP from me!

Got to the cache and straight away notice something out of the ordinary. Great hide. Log to wet to sign though. TFTC
This morning was my chance to put as much of a dint in this cache carnival nonsense as possible so I decided to take a trip to Sydney to find some caches with FPs which, to be honest, is not my favourite geocaching thing to do. I did find some pretty good stuff though. Anyway, time ran out by about 11am at my seventh find as I had to return home (central coast) to take the young bloke to soccer for 1pm. When that was over, everyone just wanted to veg around at home and do nuttin... so I jumped back in the geocar to resume where I left off! This cache was my next stop.
Once I had worked out where to dump the car safely, I set off to check this one out. In the last 20m or so I had to deal with a lot of spider webs! Once at GZ I subconsciously noticed something out of place but was too busy checking the obvious places. Eventually it clicked and my name is now in the book. TFTC, Team Sunderland. Takes my cache carnival overall tally to 435.

After having found the Bush Bison cache continued walking along the path to this cache. Walked the short distance through the bush to GZ. The cache was found after a short search. Was unable to sign the log so left a new log to sign. Thank you Team Sunderland for placing this cache.

We came out for a bike riding as a family this afternoon to knock off a few more caches. We came here some time last year and failed to find it. Today, it was pretty obvious! How did we not see that last time???!!! The container and log are both quite damp, but we still managed to write in the log. TFTC!

Today I headed out to Dural, for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road, but I was also keen to target some high Favourite point awarded caches to boost our Cache Carnival points tally. Stopped for a few quick “park & grab” Traditionals on the way out, then after the T&T sale & BBQ it was over to Dural & Kenthurst for a few highly Favourited Multis, and then headed home via Baulkham Hills to target a cluster of highly Favourited caches in the Crestwood area, before finishing the day at North Rocks with Australia’s second oldest active geocache. This was the 14th of 20 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
After suffering a disappointing DNF at "RISE OF THE MACHINE" I next drove around to this one, parking in one of the handy parking bays on the south western side of Seven Hills Road, then heading along the pathway and into the bush to GZ. Checked in a few spots before uncovering the sneaky hide and having CIH - nicely done! TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Team Sunderland.

Out today with Trodectus to do a Carnival trip. This was next on our list and #3 find for the day. The log is saturated but we were still able to sign. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. C had put together a list of caches to help us with the Carnival challenge. This was our 3rd find for the afternoon. We had parked near another cache and we continues our walk to GZ. We started searching and soon spotted the hide. The log has suffered water damage, but we found a spot to sign. TFTC.
TFTC. First of 2 quick finds this morning. Was amazed at how quick I found the small hides. for this one I have been learning to stop before GZ on GPS survey and wait for it to settle. then before moving something out of place was there. after investigating i found the small cache. log was to wet to sign so replaced as found and tried to pic my way back out along path on way in to avoid all the spiders webs in the area. I coped a face full on way in. I am giving this a favorite point for the great camo that could take time to find. Then off to the next one were a quick find was also made.
On a cache run with teamMerlin. After finding the cache we signed the log and replaced as found. thanks for the cache Team Sunderland.
Out on a cache run around Glendenning/Doonside, Prospect and Seven Hills in order to find some caches with higher FPs for the Cache Carnival currently underway. After a bit of a none event at Western Sydney Parklands with 1 find and 5 DNFs we moved on to Prospect and made two finds before driving over to Seven Hills where we made two more find and another DNF. Parking in nearby Tarana Crescent we walked over to GZ.
After a short search in the usual locations we paused and noticed something that didn't normally belong here. On inspection the cache container was revealed. With the cache in hand we all signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in average condition, with the log needing to be replaced. Thanks for the cache Team Sunderland.

After a few of my geo-adventures this morning, it was good to find something which I actually recognised - albeit in neat camo.

My original intent for today was to head to the OZ Geomuster Road Tour, but unfortunately the stars didn't align to allow it to happen. So I headed off for a few random caches to edge closer to my next milestone.
---
One more find for the day before calling it quits.
Where could I park? Nearby of course, but I still had to walk to GZ. Wandered towards GZ, and had to leave the path. I wonder what the passing motorists think when they see a person wander into the urban bush.
The GPS put me in one particular location, and I was expecting an interesting cache container. I wasn't disappointed by this find. Definitely blends in well.

Nicely made container, took a bit of time to open but got there in the end. Took: blue peg, left: plastic deer and die. TFTC
This one was a good hide I especially liked how we got the container out. OCW Sensible Shoes and Little Shoes. TFTC.
While at Sensible Ma and Sensible Pa's near here today, he asked after this cache. He is a Bushcare volunteer in the area and has educated other volunteers about geocaching. This prompted us to go and find this and Bush Bison which for some reason we never sought out before. Happy to report all is well!

Targeted Baulkham Hills area to grab my daily cache when I notice that Frazelle and ash_kate are logging caches nearby. Gave Frazelle a call only to see a mottley crew crossing the road a hundred meters away. Had a quick chat before we headed towards GZ. Frazelle's instinct was right on the money but he nearly gave up prematurely. A closer look revealed the clever hide. CO definitely has some good hides in the area - pity they are no longer actively caching...

Located at 2:31pm. Quite impressive indeed. I have a similar hide yet this one blows mine out of the water for sheer size Very nicely done. Спасибо! תןדה! L’chaim! TFTC!
I headed out today with the intention of finding "numbers", but I like getting the numbers that come we good quality hides and offer a nice walk plus discovering somewhere new. Decided to head for The Hills to keep me busy today. (10/17 finds).
I don't know if I should blame my reliance on a wayward GPS or the fact that I didn't trust my instincts and go with the first option, but I spent a few minutes crunching through the bush looking for the "heavily camoed" thing. Go with your gut, she says now, and save all that scratching about. Thanks Team Sunderland.

A short walk in the Crestwood Reserve with the geodog, picking up a few caches on the way.
Near GZ a lot of new plants have been put in the ground, carefully protected with plastic sheets. Ensuring I was not stepping on those new trees, I navigated my way to the cache hide. It took some time, but then the well camouflaged cache was found. Great hide and worth a favo!
Thanks for the cache!

While I walked along the path from Bush Bison I noticed the parent pick-up muggles were parking along the roadside where I had assumed parking was not permitted which led to my walk.
Their presence meant I had to walk a bit further than I needed to find an entry point into the bush that did not look suspicious as many new plantings were along the roadside.
I followed the GPS to metre zero and looked around.
Nothing seemed likely..... at first. I was not expecting that!
Well I haven't seen any camo quite like that before - worth a favourite point, very creative!
Signed the logbook and visited some TBs then rehid the cache and walked back along Seven Hills Road to the geomobile.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Another inventive camo. Found easily and much enjoyed. Found with Flutterby Squishy cache #196 TFTC
Cool cache. Found rather quick. Must have taken some strong glue for it. Found this log sit in a tree nearby...
Great cache, well deserving of a FP.. SMS and I both though this one might be missing due to the recent bush regeneration, but then we spotted some thing out of place Ah Ha! gotcha Very clever indeed

OCW ESCR
We headed off around this beautiful parkland grabbing a few caches.
I had CIH without even knowing it. It was ESCR that pointed it out as it was in my hand. Landcare are in the area and have planted thousands of trees, lucky that they haven't removed the cache. Favorite point from me
Cheers

#3276 This one deservedly took a while. The shade and not the side up kept it concealed. Excellent construction. Most worthy of a favourite. Geo-bike stood guard but did not assist in the find, just pure transportation. Many thanks to the cache owner **Team Sunderland** for establishing and maintaining this cache. Nice rock for a spot of morning tea.
Great great geocache. Nice surprise for next finder. Plenty of large tree spiders around so keep an eye on the little ones
Writing up the logs after a very enjoyable days geocaching with geoson morty8888. This is cache had been knocked around a bit which made for a quick find. An awesome cache which morty8888 replaced with the due care it deserves. TFTC Team Sutherland.
Awesome camo. Unfortunately the container had slipped out so was a relatively easy find. Replaced and made sure it would stay in its hidey hole. TFTC.
Another trip to the Hills to find a cache of the day. The streak is now up to 357 days, so only nine more to go to reach our target.
It rained while driving, but it had stopped once arriving at GZ. The cache was soon found, and the camouflage admired. The inner part had fallen out, but after having signed the log I put it back in place as well as I could. Driving back home, the rain started again.

Cache was found quickly as it was the first place I looked but really enjoy seeing great pieces of camo like this. TFTC
My second find for the day in my local area, doing this one on the way to to 'Be Prepared'. A nicely made cache container making it a not too easy find a well thought about containment and camouflage. The plant regeneration scheme in the area have not interfeared with the cache what so ever.TFTC
The coordinates were spot on and soon located a good constructed cache. We enjoyed the challenge, thanks.
Great cache. Saw something suspicious, turned it round, gave it a poke- nope.. then there it was hiding just cms below. Well nicely constructed. I can see why this have lots of fav point. TFTC
Awesome camo - still works well - even in the middl of bush regeneration zone. TFTC
#892 Sixth of nine finds on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon's caching around Baulkham Hills and the Heritage Track. Nice find after a short search. Loved the camo. There has been some clearing and planting but the cache is good. TFTC
Very cleaver, turned something over and saw the great work done to conceal the cashe
Great hiding and camo. Had me fooled for a while until I figured it didn't belong here.
