On a roadie of the south island up from Invercargill. On the home stretch southward now..West coast caching! All good here tftc
A day out with Mr C's cousin, suggested coffee at Honey Pot with some scenic drive for geocaches. She enjoys coming out on our adventures. Wow impressive here and would never of known but for geocaching. Thanks for this fun hide gracie7+Mum.
Off to Gladstone to do a drive on the recently upgraded Gladstone OneNZ site. A good opportunity to collect a few more minutes. I was in Greymouth yesterday.. wasn't expecting to be back to soon.
The end of the drivetest, I can now head back home. Read the info board, and then came over to autograph this log. Not the worst day today over this side of the Main Divide, could see down to Aoraki Mt Cook!
TFTC gracie7 + Mum, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #4244

Pulled the cache out along with a very large beattle. Might be a huhu beattle. Big ups to me for no screaming or swearing.
Spending the winter woofing, tramping and exploring the west coast caching along the way ..of course..
Heading to greymouth for a couple of nights then on to pancake rocks for my next job..
Quick find to start the day tftc

We are out for the day on a maintenance run out passed Hokitika and we stopped here just to do a random check. The cache has been here for 8 years now and is still on its original book and only just at halfway. Nice and dry and All good here. Happy Caching.
The afternoon has just flown by, but theres still a few places on my list I want to visit before we call it a day. A short detour off the main drag to look for this one. TFTC
Drive past this road twice a day , just around the corner from home so not breaking lockdown rules , I finally stopped to find this one , thank u for a bit of normality
Our 50th cache! Love the hiding spot. I bet these houses will go for a pretty penny! TFTC!
Stopped to grab this one after grabbing one up the road further and a foray to find a missing one even further away. tftc for a quick cache.
(# 5310). Today is day 2 of my West Coast trip. Weather wise the day wasn't to bad apart from an absolute deluge around lunchtime. No caching at the time as it was far to wet. Today was a trip to Hokitika then the gorge. A quick find. I like these ones as I can read about some of the local history. Everything in order. TFTC
Day 1 of a 4 day road trip. My mission on this trip was to travel South and West and then East and North. Looks interesting round here. All good with the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Wow I wasn't expecting such a memorial here. Very interesting family history and including the talented poet. TFTC # 13,069
I'd only just pulled over when a 4x4 pulled up beside me and the driver gave me a thumbs, I gave one back and then went over to read the sign as she drove off. Once the coast was clear I started my search. TFTC gracie7 + Mum

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of a long weekend visit to Greymouth.
We took the scenic route from Greymouth back to Christchurch, via Stafford Loop Rd.
A short detour to this cache, but we didn't carry on to look around the subdivision. SW found the cache while I turned the car around. TFTC.

Day 3 Greymouth - Hokitiki
After completing the card series, we made our way following a caching trail into town.
I wanted to do the Flintstones since I had done all the puzzles before leaving Australia.
We found Greymouth a great town to drivw around, a good selection of hides & containers found.
It's nice that they have recognised this person with a new estate.
Thanks for placing this cache gracie7 + Mum

*Finally vacation and time for the trip 'down under' to Australia and New Zealand via China. We’re expecting to see a lot of different animals and flowers and also hope to find nice caches and meet other geocachers during our journey.*

When driving from Greymouth to Haast today I stopped here to get this cache. Well, easy find.
Thanks for showing the place and greetings from Austria.

By now the rain had really set in and the muggle that passed would have needed all his attention focused on staying on the road. We had our focus on finding and signing the log in situ. It was a time/movement decision based on estimating the driest return to the car ready for our next cache. Thank you gracie7 + Mum
Out and about today finding some long solved puzzles and others we have been bypassing when on the Coast. Those rocks are very slippery when wet but found an easier path back to the car.
Thank you gracie7 + Mum.
Thank you gracie7 + Mum.
Its Easter & have teamed up with The Seagnoid & Zara, for a magical mystery tour, exploring the amazing West Coast. Its Saturday and we are off exploring again, heading towards Hokitika.
Another find for me. Cheers

On a big Easter caching mission with ZaraBus and TaybeeDragon. Lots of crawling through mines, climbing hills, walking through bush. And yet we only covered a tiny bit of the West Coast, between Greymouth and Hokitika.
Third cache of the day, this one found just on Dawn. I totally get you re these *I wonder where this road leads* moments. Isn't that exactly why we geocache?

Today is day three of NZDi's and my Blenheim - Christchurch - Greymouth - Blenheim triangular caching trip and while yesterday was all about quality caches, today is about numbers. Today we did our biggest day ever, 50 caches. Most of todays caches were pretty generic but there were a coupe of gems. Our logs were annotated Kiwimykl and NZDi, KM & ND or variations there of.
A short diversion off the main road took us to this relatively new subdivision, a good set of gPS coordinates and a helpful hint made for a QEF PnG.
Once again TFTC G&M

Found as I neared my overnight rest stop after having cycled 54km of the West Coast Wilderness Trail. TFTC.
We had a quick drive around the new houses after finding this cache in its clever hiding spot. TFTC
Looks like the Montagu family are selling some of their assets. The entrance is grand, so too is the price
A quick find on a winters tour down the West Coast. The weather is great (though cool), and the scenery fantastic. What a beautiful country we live in. Thanks for the hide.
Quick find, we are amazed at the cost of dirt here. Wish we could take a couple of sections home:) tftc
A quick easy find at the entrance to this subdivision, although we didn’t go in far enough to see any houses. TFTC
A quick find. In fact we could see the likely hiding place from the car.
Thanks gracie7 + Mum for the cache.
