Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doscrapbooking for the cache.
Nice and easy. However the Log Book was Mush so Replaced it with a New One. Now off to the next one.
Thanks for the nice quick find. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

I love squeezing every last second out of public holidays which usually combine with RDO's at work. So, with a 4 day long weekend in the offing , a few weeks ago I reviewed my adventure wish list and decided that a solo hike Carnarvon Gorge and specifically Battleship Spur would fit the bill.Viko Cz subsequently messaged me to say he was back in Australia for business for a few weeks and had some weekends free for a geocaching adventure, and was also keen to visit Carnarvon. Today, after a late-ish start (too late for the 4.30 am dawn service anyway), we set about cleaning up the balance of the local Roma caches, before grabbing some breakfast and heading north. We arrived here and were surprised to see a large gathering in the cemetery in the dawn light. I had not realised there was a second Anzac ceremony here after the very early dawn service in the centre of town. It was a nice quick find and then we were on our way. Lest we forget. Many thanks jpgordoPete#7,847nzac ceremony
#5700 [07:10] long weekend ahead, lucky coincidence allowed me to join crookedpete to his carnarvon trip. first day - many caches all the way to roma including this one. thanks for that, it's always nice to stop, stretch legs and claim smiley

Still heading home from Cape York and now heading back inland after a night in Rockhampton. Roma is our stop tonight and do I walked around this afternoon (35 feels like 25 with a really strong wind) and collected a few caches in town. This was the first collected. Old mate was parked nearby but could collect without attracting attention. Not closed but all good here.TFTC jpgordo

33,565. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 29. Today we packed up, did our best to clean out Roma (I had plenty to find as when I came through here last year I only stopped for lunch and 1 cache), then continued East to Chinchilla. We still had 5 days and lots of caches to go on this trip. This was the next one on the list. Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!
An intriguing name for this cache... I for one was keen to see this curve. Found the curve, the cache and the quietest place in town. TFTC jpgordo.

Hidden amidst a tangle of ancient, moss-coated trees, there is a solitary gate of intricately twisted ironwork. Weathered by time, it stands sentinel-like, seemingly leading nowhere. This gate to nowhere, it appears, is in fact, a gateway to an untold history, silently waiting for a seeker to unlock its mysteries.

Found it quickly. Nice and easy cache. Nearly got spotted by a muggle, but successfully got it in hand. Had a little item for swaps but I didn't have anything to swap it with, so it's there for the next person. 3rd cache down.
A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.

Today was day 2 of the trip out to Charleville for QOGM. Travelling with Chamad, we made an early start in Miles and travelled all the way to Charleville; collecting caches that either of us needed along the way.
Seems it has been replaced since I was here a couple of years ago. Glad to turn this frown upside down.

Day 2 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While Triple Turmoil and I headed out to meet up with the others, it gave us time to grab a few caches along the way. We were aiming to be at the campsite at a reasonable hour so as we could set up in the daylight and see what is around at camp. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
Today was a drive from Miles to Charleville, grabbing caches and adventure labs along the way. It was a fun day and we found all caches fairly easily. We signed the logs and replaced caches as found. Thanks for the hides and maintaining them

A nice easy find. 4pm probably isn't the ideal time to be here as it would appear it's finishing time for the nearby workshop, but still quiet enough to make a quick find. TFTC.
Spending a day or two caching around Miles and Roma.
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

We are on a 2 month trip from Portland via the Mundi Mundi Bash to a wedding in Brisbane and then out west for QOGM in Charleville.
Today we jumped on the bikes and headed off to find all the local trads with very mixed fortunes. Still it was a nice way to check the town out.
One lonely skippy nearby but she wasn't bothered by us at all.
Thanks for contributing to the fun jpgordo

Found with tassie expat. Accurate coords and in good condition. Thanks for the easy one. We walked through the cemetery while here.
A quick find with frmen1. We enjoy cemeteries, the older the better. We found some interesting graves and were fascinated by the tiling that adorns many sites (have never seen it to this extent before). TFTC
