Out while the car is in for a service sadly did not find and after looking at the last notes decided to give it up. This time round
Knightech and I are out on a caching run in the newish Ford territory again. We didn't find this one, after a good search. In view of the earlier log, we reckon it's probably gone. Could the CO please have a look?
Couldn't find it. We then asked our son to help us as he had found it previously. He showed us the hide but the cache was not there.
After finding subsequent caches by this CO, we reflected back on this one and are still pretty certain that it is gone. Will wait for CO to confirm it is in place before trying again.
First cache of autumn 2014 and the rain couldn't stay away as we started our search in the dark. The decoy rocks pile had to be checked and after realising the hiders of this cache we soon found the tricky little container on the forth check in a slightly different spot. Thanks for another cool little nano hide qbncachers
Found with matt_stomper. Had to look for a while but eventually came up with the goods. Clever hide
A truly ingenious container! Took a walk in this lovely park after work; a favourite with the Geobeast. TFTC!

7566 + 919 = 8485. Found during a lunchtime run around parts of Queanbeyan...
Fourth find on a lovely day out in the sun. After a DNF here several months ago with SDL I returned today and the GPS had me in a slightly different area - which was good as I found the cache straight away this time ! Happy with that !
Thanks qbncachers !!
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers....

Did much the same was Winterdragon it would seem. Initial instinct made me look in the wrong place but soon enough the cache was found. Like these containers of yours.
Very clever camo, looks as if the nearby structure has given birth to a cache! TFTC
The clue and my cacher sense was telling me to look in the pile of rocks at the tree, but the GPS was pointing somewhere else, so I trusted it and looked under the other object. Soon spotted an interestingly camoed container!
TNLB - Thanks qbncachers

Took a bit of searching here and there but did get the tricky hide .
Many thanks .
Many thanks .
Shame about the lack of maintenance here, it has so much to offer. Sneeky hide. TFTC
Great location in need of a bit of TLC. Sneaky hide took a bit of spotting. Grabbing some caches in the area with J+J.au.
Fantastic weather for our leisurely cache hunt as we enjoy the geocaching tour and challenges. SL..TFTC

Interesting little cache, I like it. Found after searching for a short time. Camo was not what I was expecting. Thanks.
Our first cache of our long weekend in canberra. Had to wait out a sales rep having lunch but other than that a nice straight forward cache, hope it's a good omen. Tftc
Gumby Maca pointed out where he thought the cache might be and sure enough with a small nudge from my shoe, it revealed itself. TFTC.
We sure are learning - yep - this is a qbncachers stash, so chances are it'll be a little rocky... and sure enough it was right where we thought! Another one to tftc qbncachers
Once again, Rapidlywild and I were out and about gallivanting around on another geomission on a Friday night. Tonight we decided to run amok at Queanbeyan [:O)]
Well this one took us a little longer than expected! With torches blazing, we headed straight for a 'geopile' to start the search there. Then I spied something geologically out of place in a gap at the base of a tree, so thought I would examine further. Ahhhhhhhhh!! OMG! check out the size of the huntsman! It's beady little eyes and massive, black fangs were shining back at me just CENTIMETRES from my fingers!! Silly specimenX! RW nearly fainted at the sight of that monster! Anyway, after getting the heart rate down back to normal, we decided to examine another structure, where RW made the well cammo'd find yet again [^] If only we looked there FIRST! [:O)] So then with caching duties completed, we were off for more fun and frivolity
Thanks for yet another, qbncachers

And it was Geomission - Queanbeyan with specimenX tonight. These Friday Night geomissions are becoming quite a routine for us!!! Its great
So I officially had a heartattack at this one....... specimenX and I were looking around at an object that the cache was NOT at. After some examinations, specimenX moved some bark and OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there was a HUGE spider, just centimetres from her fingers. OMG I think I went pale, I did not feel too well for a few moments after that sight. After a few moments, we moved over to where the cache WAS actually located. Made the find quickly, then we decided to move on.
Thanks for the hide qbncachers

This was a quick find as the windy conditions kept the muggles away..... I had popped over last week to scout it out but there were gangs of kids and teens so let it be. Nice camo...starting to see a theme there . TFTC!
Found and logged at 3:24:08 PM
One of 13 cache found after arriving in Canberra on day 4 of the August Ceocaching Callenge
I had forgotten how cold and windy it can get here
Thanks qbncachers

Finally found it. Out walking geodoggie and dropped past. Just needed to trust my instincts. Tftc
2013: 202 Days In A Row - I didn't even get a chance to look up from the GPS to start searching for the cache! I followed it to GZ, and before I had even looked up Fraggles had the cache in her hands. A windy and freezing day, so it was nice to have a quick find on the top of this hill. TFTC!
Day 202; cache 202. A really quick find considering. So quick in fact we decided to grab another one before heading home. TFTC!
Just trying to stuff in a few more caches before dinner out with the boys followed by more caching. This one had me a bit distracted by the pile of rocks near the tree, but eventually I trusted the GPS and found the cache amongst the rubbish
Searched the "obvious" spot then decided to trust the now settled GPS. Then it was all over red rover! Thanks qbncachers, great fun!
After a DNF a while ago, headed back today and managed to make the find after expanding the search area. GZ co-ords seemed good this around....so there you go. No idea about the last attempt.
Thanks for the cache.....
Thanks for the cache.....
I have a day off work today. After a very nippy start to the day, the sun has melted the frost and revealed a beautiful day. I have spent the morning trying to get the last couple of active caches I have yet to discover in Queanbeyan. My GPS took me straight to the GZ but my eyes got distracted by a nearby and familiar looking location for a cache. After discoverying nothing at that location, I went back to where my GPS told me I should be and found it quickly. An easy find once I decided to follow my GPS.
I think I did a multi in this park at some stage. I see you or someone has set up a decoy here and I fell for it, and only thought to look where it was actually hidden after thinking no way. Oh well, it was there and has been signed. Thanks.

Gave this one a good 10 mintues I'd say, but nothing familiar was spotted.
Will wait and see when it's found again.
Thanks anyway......

Nice to see a bit of effort in a cache. Sydney is full of mint tins
Either way it was a nice hide, good co ords.
Thanks

After chatting to Nifty1 at The Scar, they said that they couldn't find it, so we went ourselves to see if we could find it. After many minutes of searching with muggles watching us, we had no luck. Seems that Nifty1 found it in the end, so will have to come back later. Love coming here though...
I love hearing you guys comment on our home made containers!
We get a giggle from some of your comments!

Had to wait out two muggles making it out in their car. So I just sat at the top admiring the views, played with a super friendly dog that came up for a rub and tickle, then finally they left. I moved in for a quick, er not so quick find. Ah yes, of course, one of those containers! Thanks.
Ah - found the right one this time! I also noticed that the other one is gone now. So when that gets redeployed, have I already found it?
1959. I arrived at GZ with nobody insight and began my search. After a little searching the familiar container was spotted. I even got a chuckle from reading the previous logs. TFTC.
I returned with Decrypter and found the CORRECT cache. It also helped that we were alone here today without someone watching like last time. It makes searching more possible. Cute cache; I'm adding this to my favourites. TFTC.
Photographs: Views from near GZ. It was smoky looking. Perhaps there are burn-offs somewhere.

Congratulations on an interesting cache. The clue helped a lot and GPS was spot on. This made it a quick find. I think it deserves a favourite.
This one took me a little while to find but got there eventually.
The mystery cache was mine but I was beaten releasing it. This is a much better cache anyway!

The 'imposter' has now been removed leaving only Bicentennial Bandit in the tiny area of this massive park.
Oh - and if the owner of the mystery mint tin reads this and wants their 'pip' back (not a cufflink after all), please contact me through my profile. Happy to return it, as it wasn't part of an official 'find'.
A quick find after collecting justjessie junior off the school bus. We first found the imposter, and then found the genuine article. We thought we might as well sign both! Thanks for the cache.
Talk about a day of driving in circles! This one popped up just as I was finishing off 'Collett Carpark', so I jumped back in the car and high-tailed it up the road. A car pulled out of the carpark as I was pulling in, so I suspected that I was seconds off the mark. A quick stroll to GZ and the cache was in hand, with a surprisingly blank log and a *FtF* at 1234. Took the cufflink - mostly because I was having trouble fitting it back into the container with the log.
Another car pulled in right near GZ just as I'd returned the cache to its rightful spot - I thought he'd be going for a hunt, but he was just stopping to let the dog have a run-around.
Thanks for the cache qbncachers - nice to have some more active cachers in the area [^]

Quick find, but unfortunately NOT a FTF. TFTC.
ADDED: Apparently this was not the correct cache, so I have changed this to a DNF.

Officially found @ 1610 - after an email from the CO asking about the cufflink (which wasn't in the cache when hidden!) I thought this warranted another look. I checked the hint, discovered it bore no relevance that I could find to the cache I first found, and started from scratch. This time I found a hide much more in keeping with the others published recently, a still-blank log and a mystery as to why the other container was there - there's nothing listed on OpenCaching or GCA with those coords.
Rather more surprisingly, this is the second time I've found a 'not-cache' since I started playing this game - both times complete with log sheet in a plastic bag.
People, if you find a mint tin wrapped in tape - you're barking up the wrong tree! The published coordinates are pretty accurate, read the hint to confirm you're on the right path.
