Cache is back! Big Grin
Given that the cache is placed less than 1 metre from a well used path, I don't see it as being a problem so I've decided to let it stay!
Cleaned it all up this morning so it is ready to find again! Big Grin
Happy Geocaching!

01-Mar-15
Complies with COS guidelines

01-Mar-15
Sorry but the specifics of being close to a path only apply to a 'limestone' or otherwise sealed path.

The path you are talking about is not limestone or sealed and so is a problem under the COS rules.

Please remove your cache.

01-Mar-15
Sorry about this, thought the cache might be ok. Sad
Will remove cache as soon as possible!
Thanks!

I've decided this one should be fine to stay where it is, so I will put the cache back out tomorrow hopefully!
Happy Geocaching!

The Stirling City Council have made new rules for their Bushland, Coastal Dunes, Wetlands areas and includes any other area affected by dieback within the boundaries of the council local government area. These new rules can be found at https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Western+Australia and will affect already published caches within the council area.

This cache listing has been identified as being one of the approximately 85 existing caches that are located in one of the areas identified by the new rules and must be checked so is being temporarily disabled until the status of the cache is determined as complying or non complying with these new rules.

If this listing complies with the new rules then it can be enabled again but a note must be placed on the cache stating that the cache complies with the rules.

If it is determined that this cache does not comply then the owner is requested to remove the cache for the existing location and archive the listing.

If you wish to replace the cache at some other location within the Stirling City Council Local Government area that does comply with the new rules please submit a new cache listing for the new location.

Just a quick check this afternoon and found the cache left very exposed and not put back properly! Placed it back where it should be but please do not leave any cache exposed like this as if a muggle discovers it it may get stolen!
All good now though and ready to find!

Unfortunately the batteries had been drained and even after they had been replaced the mechanism did not operate consistently.
Have taken this one in so I can replace the switch which is most likely the problemBig Grin
Should be back online soonBig Grin
Happy Caching!

Hi.
Found it with my boys.
Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it didnt work. I didnt force anything as requested in log.
The cache appeared a bit wet. I think this may be the problem. The protecting bag has many little holes in it.
I hope it is fixable.
Rockthree told me how good this cache was.
Maybe i can come back another day...

Not sure how this one has been off my radar for so long, and what a little beauty. All worked perfectly.

And, what an absolutely wonderful day for a bit of close to home cacheing on my own, and how lovely is this unknown little piece of natural bush land in Trigg.

Thanks so much for this cache and getting me to discover this spot spirothebudgie, well worth a fav from me too.

On the geobike again, riding in the middle of the day... Smile
Had a DNF here previously, and nearly gave it up again when finally spotted the cache. Sometimes the simplest hides are the hardest to find. The mechanism was not working, the battery might be flat, the switch was left on "close".
TFTH

That was tricky...we were distracted by the sound of Mr Whippy so almost missed the path that leads to the cache. We had to wait for my aunty to tell us the instructions so we could sign the log. Thanks for the cache. Oh, and we did manage to track down Ms Whippy on our walk back up the hill so it was smiles all around. Big Grin

Found while on holiday from Moree NSW. We took my brothers muggle wife and muggle mother in law. The mother in law found this one which was exciting. Unable to sign log due to technical issues but took photo to send the CO to verify the find. Would have given it a favourite point if it had worked but still an awesome cache Smile TFTC

Found while out with Jakl-b hide. Greetings from New Zealand

21-Aug-13
Found without problems but had trouble getting to the log as it took a few switches to work. I suspect that was because the whole thing was very damp.

Thanks spirothebudgie for the cache.

18-Aug-13
This is the most amazing cache I have come across. TFTH

17-Aug-13
Cache still in place! We actually went to the wrong spot when we went to check it up, there is a very similar looking spot earlier on the track.
All good!

16-Aug-13
Was looking everywhere, but could not find it.

16-Aug-13
Got to this one, and realised we had already found it with ruffdawg as a second to find. Kids insisted that we find it again anyhow. Upon searching, we came up empty, definitely not where it was initially, so I am pretty sure it has been muggled : (

11-Aug-13
Well now that we have recovered from WA goes BIG in 2013 Razz it's time to clean up that map and hunt down some of those caches that have popped up over the last 5 months.

Well another that we found the track out much easier than the bush bash in.

We found the cache out in the open and were worried it had been muggled. But all seemed okay. Placed the cache back a bit better we hope.

Nice work on the logbook and a fave from us for yet something different.

TFTC spirothebudgie

10-Aug-13
Mid search finds me crouched under a banksia tree trying to shelter from the heaviest downpour of the day. I felt very much at one with nature, even with water running down my back! Excellent, inventive cache, tho container in bit worse for wear, still dry tho. TFTH

Whilst it is true that my herpitophobia is legendary, I don't have a problem with arachnids. However, when the covering of webs on my specs began to impact my vision, I asked "Am I enjoying this?" TFTH
