Sadly it appears that this cache has been abandoned by a no longer active owner.
Based on the history of DNFs I won't bother here this weekend unless it has been checked. Can this please be done?
Looked around where GPS placed me and through to about 10 meters either side. No luck. Found a hole that looked like a container should be in there, and found a random container that definitely wasn't the cache. Bummer.
We gave this one a good crack, but very windy day had GPS bouncing around. We spent good time at the main three trees around GZ, but with no joy. Thanks anyway .
Out and about for a day caching in the region.
I have a cache with one of these in it.
A quick solve.
Thanks for he cache.

Easy find ... difficult box. Good hide. Watch for muggles on motorbikes in the area
This took a while. Almost had it then moved the slide a bit to far and the ball dropped out and had to start all over. Eventually got there. Thanks Harvint13
I have one of these mazes at home but it still took me a while to retrieve the log book. Some mozzie repellant wouldn't go astray for this area, anyway, log was signed and left some treasure. TFTC
Catching up on some logs from late 2016 and when I first started geocaching early 2016... Absolutely hooked now! Using the c geo app has certainly made it easier to log late caches. I hate to think how many caches I've found and failed to log when I first started out but hopefully I'm getting on top of that.

Found it but didn't have time to solve the maze. Did a toy swap. Will take the kids back another time to hopefully solve the maze.
Hi, checked the cache today and there was nothing wrong with it. All is fine and the container it is in is secure.
Please note all cachers, the lid comes off the maze. this is how it works.
*SPOILER* - Instructions on how to open the maze.
You need to move the ball through the maze until it gets to the latch. Slide the ball across to push on the latch then you may need to lever up the lid off with your finger.

The latch/clip at the end of the maze is broken completely. This means the maze doesn't work, and the box can be opened without completing it.
Trekked up the M1 today with Mumma-Kel to do a spot of caching around Maitland, an area that is pretty much virgin territory for us both.
We've both seen this sort of puzzle before, though that didn't really help in getting the ball to where it had to be to unlock the log book. When we eventually did, the mechanism didn't work exactly as it should have though we still managed to be able to access the log book and put our names in it. It seems that the spring and unlock mechanism may be suffering from the combined effects of exposure to the elements and wear & tear.
Thanks for the cache Harvint13, and for the smiley.

Out and about in Maitland today with opa-Shrek, we both like a good old cemetery multi, so this puzzle took our fancy - we parked nearby and walked through quite a cute little cemetery, then wandered about the boundary line a little aimlessly until I returned to check more thoroughly that which I'd checked first and passed over, and made the find.... We then set to work on the puzzle box, which I had found one of before, so knew the process, and it didn't take us long at all to get through the maze.... Despite the fun of that, we could have made our job simpler by checking it more carefully at the start - we assumed, based on the recent owners maintence that the cache was all fixed and working properly, but it is not -- the final (crucial) clasp has been snapped clear off, rendering it ineffective. Thanks for the find harvint13.
Hi all, replaced the box and the puzzle. Tested out the puzzle and all is good.
happy caching!!
happy caching!!
The lid is broken of the cache container, so water can get in . The puzzle box was also open, but we did put it back together with the log book inside and close it up. To make this clever cache workable and fun once more some TLC by the owners is needed. Thanks.
A lot of TLC needed here. Raining lightly, but that did not deter beatiebrooks and us From looking. Beatiebrooks went looking at the gravestones, as although she lives quite near, she was unaware of this hidden gem. SL at 1.40pm despite it being broken and wet. #3180 TFTC Harvint13 - will post a maintenance request too.
Definitely not where the GPS was pointing but after waiting for some muggles to clear out and searching a bit further out I found it. Container is a bit worse for where and a friendly neighbourhood cockroach was trapped in a maze!
Found on 25/8/15 on way home from a weekend away

After searching in lots of wrong places and my phone telling us to walk in circles, we found the cache and left behind a toy.
A swirly gps has us at least one tree away from where we needed to be but we spotted the cache hide from that distance. Really disappointed to not see the puzzle in its full glory. Kids loved it though. TNLN TFTC
The not-so-mighty Garmin Montana (don't buy one!!! ) has again decided to go on the blink, so it was a bit of a guessing game as to the whereabouts of the cache. After reading previous logs, I knew that it was about 10m from the listed co-ords, so I had a bit of a hunt.
After looking for a while, I was about to give up (and chuck the bloody Montana in the nearest water!!) when I just had another look around me and realised that the area where I was standing wasn't natural. A quick search and the cache was uncovered.
Unfortunately, the puzzle is not intact, so the cache is now just a traditional. Bugger!!
But I did enjoy the search. TNLNSL TFTC

Wow talk about walk around lol lots of fun my kids loved it! And was super excited. Puzzle box broken but was a fun one
Enjoying doing some local puzzles around the area and decided to do this one as well.
Thanks for the mystery cache.
Thanks for the mystery cache.
Found it. Nice difficulty level for me being a newbie. My gps also directed me to the wrong tree.
Stick with the hint our poor little phone sent us to the wrong tree! Good thing my girls are adventurous!
Continuing towards Melbourne with Team Crackers we picked some more of the local caches.
Thanks for the hide,

Catching up on some very late logs.
Travelling home from the QLD mega with The Coffee’s and micaparamedic and pulled up here happy to see the area deserted except for the residents who did not seem to mind our presents.
We had the same trouble as some others starting at the wrong tree but this was soon sorted and we had the puzzle in hand. We have seen these before but this one was the quickest as when we tipped it over every thing fell out so it was a nice easy sign.
To save space in the smaller logs we signed as MCC, micaparamedic, The Coffee’s and Team Crackers.
We then put every thing back in and it took a while to get it how we think it should have been.
Many thanks Blakey1 for the cache.

The Booo's are on day one of the road trip to Oz Mega made a quick find here thanks
The Booo's are heading to Oz Mega and passed through to collect this cache A nice simple mystery and probably the fastest we have solved with this kind of container.
Tricky little container. As mentioned no tools are needed but you do need to hold it in a particular way as well as solving the puzzle. TFTC
Hi all,
Went and had a look at the cache, today and its all fine, dry and not broken. There isn't a hinge on the door of the cache and you shouldn't need anything to get it open (as i opened it easy today). Cheers

Late 'book marking' of cache for the Puzzle Elective - so I am glad that there wasn't a hinge to be broken. Had fun with the … tho, and it wouldn't open even tho I thought it should have.
1000 GAFF1, Type 2 of four different types of caches found today while down from Taree. All quiet next door so no muggles. Good coordinates meant it was quickly found - then I just had to open it.
It took a couple of attempts, and I had to use a pair of scissors to assist in opening it, as I'm not sure if the hinge is broken.
Brought through for mileage: 12-12-12 Event, 2012 Olympic Cab, 3 Bros NSW, Auckland NZ'13, B 2 B Travel ingot, CII-35Z, CITO - Upper Swan and Beyond geocoin, GCookie EARTH Cache 10 year Celebration Coin, GCookie FIZZY Coin, Hello Cocky TB, Iconic Bridges 2012, Kengu, Natalie's Dream, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 13 signature, Oz Mega 2014 GCookie, thank you - moliva, TransAustralia, and trackable shirts.

With not too many options for finding multiple Types of caches in a day close to home (Taree) I thought I would try a few down Muswellbrook way. Grabbed this on the way through. While I was sitting in the shade a dad and his son rode past on a 'PeeWee', and probably wondered what I was up to. Took about 20 minutes.
Dry and intact inner.

Found with sesblocker this afternoon. A great fun puzzle cache in an interesting spot. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC!
Another great cache in Maitland found with The Neighbs. A great idea for a puzzle cache. TFTC!
TFTC!! This one was amazing!! Loved the set up!! The lock is a little broken though but it still works great!! Thank you so much for this one =)
Found the cache but it is in need of maintenance The lock appears to be broken.
Found this at the beginning of the year with a friend, just logging it now, tried to revisit the site last night but couldn't get through the road works
Took a while to get the puzzle, In the end a lot of fun & great hint. Left a token
TFTC the maze had us rolling around and around and around but eventually solved the puzzle .. Good fun
I had an idea what to expect at GZ so I ensured I left this one til I had a little time to play around... This afternoon, after finishing work up North, I made my way back to town and grabbed this one along the way.
I took the container back to the car and sat in comfort (and dry) as I worked through the challenge... Not too bad really, I had my name in the log within a couple of minutes... I guess I got lucky...
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Harvint13.

Found at 5:08 PM GAFF1 in the company of Latanzi. We joined forces on this one - mainly to stop each other from smashing the puzzle to smithereens - and in a few minutes we had the trap door ready to be opened, however Latanzi had other ideas and decided to do it all over again [B)]. The second time round was a bit more frustrating as we expected it to be quicker, but it wasn't Eventually we got there and a satisfying and fun cache was logged. Glad for the company on this one.
Thanks Harvint13.

I was in the area when Pprass said come on down and have a look at this one. So i came and found a wonderful idea for a puzzle cache. With two incredible minds and dexterous fingers at work we had it done in no time at all (geologically speaking )
Would have been done a little quicker if I didnt get it in my hands at the ultimate moment and accidentally closecthe lid. Truly a 'Doh' moment
thanks for a fun puzzle Harvint13 deserves a fav from me fir the idea and the company

Found it even GPS was +/- 9 metres. Didn't have time to open cube - good excuse!
Found the cache, but didn't have enough time to work out the puzzle!! Great idea and I'll definitely go back to have another go tftc
Found at 6:54:00 PM, after reading the description I had a fair idea what we would find at GZ. My instincts were correct and was relieved to find a puzzle that we had previously solved at a cache in Wagga. Even being familiar with this puzzle it still took a few minutes to access the log sheet.
Thanks Harvint13

After looking under the wrong tree a few months ago, I decided to have another look.
Looked under a different tree only to find a decomposing kangaroo.
The third tree clearly had the cache.
Took a little while to do the puzzle, but was very enjoyable.
Thanks for the maze!

This cache is the devil...... And I love it haha. This was an amazing fun cache. Thanks for the blast of watching Alan go around the maze twice haha.
I found the cache but was on my way to a wedding and really hungry , { That's my excuse anyway }so could not solve the puzzle but I will be back when I have more time and hopefully a functioning brain Thanks Harvint13 it is a very clever cache
Found it but was stumped by the puzzle and lack of time. I'm sure if we spent more time on it we would have got it, so didn't sign the log but a fun find anyway!
Really disappointed. Found the GZ no problem and after reading previous logs looked on the boundary 10m to the south - no go. A few stones around and dug under the leaves. Pouring with rain and getting dark so gave up. Was looking forward to the puzzle that so many others had enjoyed. Never mind I'll look again next time I'm through this way.

On the way home from a mine site this afternoon had to stop and get this one it has been bugging me for a while now.
It was dark by the time I got here and only having the phone as a gps and light lucky the cache did not take too much to find. That was the easy part.
After spending 5 mins trying to get the cache open in the dark gave up and went out to where there was some light so I could see what I was doing. What a clever little puzzle after getting it to the open position I bumped the lid shut when I tried to remove it and then had to go through the whole puzzle again.
Thanks Harvint13 I really enjoyed this cache. A fav point from me.

This cache is the best one I have found so far, really loved the box even though it took a while to open.
Reperio at 0910.
Having read the cache page and some of the logs before arriving to GZ, I knew what to expect, and was looking forward to actually seeing it first hand. I searched around GZ in a likely spot only to come up empty...and so headed to the next likely spot 10m away and eventually found the container. Took the cache back to the car, and after playing around with it for a few minutes, the log book was able to be signed. Enjoyed the container.

Found it with ease, tricky box took us a while but eventually figured it out! TFTC
My second attempt at this one. The cache ended up being 10m away. Love this type of puzzle. Didn't need to solve it as it was already open on arrival. Did it anyway for the fun. Didn't find darths pathtag - must have been taken by someone that didn't log a find.
I have been saving this one for a day with friends and on a day that I need to complete to fill in the empty spot on my finds calender.
Cool cache. Everyone knows I love a puzzle box. I had help from my 2 year old and my brother in law, Gazamataz.
After trying for a while, gazz got it and then promptly locked it again with his big stupid clumsy hands.
So we had to do it again. left a path tag and a bunny..

But the Scooby and I kept on snatching it offeach other and we just couldn't get it.
We got it up to the top door and elevator but couldn't get it through the door.
Will go back again by myself and maybe even take picnic blanket and lunch next time.

I am thinking I should have taken more notice of the logs as when I found this one it was dark which made finding GZ hard enough but the puzzle was not easy in the dark. Finally managed to open it and sign the log. TFTC very different.
Found the cache without any problems but boy did i have some trouble getting to the log book. After about 15 min, i was just about to go to plan b which was to blow the thing to pieces when i finally got it to open .
