Beware. There is a European wasp nest in the swordgrass 1m east of the green sign. Danger.
Hoping to drop a trackable but no sign of the cache
Cheers from Brisbane!

Arrived at GZ and initially found rubbish from a lazy picnicker. Picked it up and continued searching. Then Tokass got too close to a yellow jacket wasp nest in the razor grass and got stung so we called it quits at 13:20.
Had to come back a few times, we thought the cache might have met with some fowl play.
But then there it was!
But then there it was!
We got therejust on dusk,so looking in the dark was fruitless, will try again soon

This is one of the caches we were able to stop for, while travelling from the Event in Peverill Park to visit family in North Essendon.
It was more like "cacher hunting season" we both received nasty stings from local insects in the razor grass. After backing out, the well cammo'd cache was found in a different direction.
Our thanks to Sharnedog123 for bringing us here.

My third find of the day with McWillid. After a DNF last time I tried searching, I returned with McWillid today. We searched around for a bit before McWillid spotted something strange and it took us a while to figure out if it was the cache or not. Fortunately it was and we retrieved the log and signed it. TFTC!
One of my all time favourites. Even when I was originally 'eyeballing' the cache, I still wasn't quite sure. Great hide. TFTC!
The GPS and phone were both jumping around. After 10 minutes in the heat I decided to give up and come back another time. Thanks anyway Sharnedog123.
Another Cache Hunting Season and another great container. After waiting for the needle to settle it put me in the exact spot and looking right there I spotted the edge of what I was seeking. That brought a smile to my face
These gardens are a little treasure tucked away here. I didn't know of their existence before.
Thanks to Sharnedog123 for the cache.

Suscoe's 10th find of the day as we headed out and about searching for New Year's Day caches.
This one took a little time as we had duck feeding muggles nearby. So we ouwaited them and then set about a serious search.
The clever camo was spotted and the cache retrieved.
Thanks to Sharnedog123 for bringing us to this lovely area.

Did it with a group of people and one of us screamed when she sore it so we found it pretty easy.
Walked from nearby Central Park to make the find in this beautiful little park. Loved the camo. Thanks and well done sharnedog123.
Find #655
Tarbit had a new niece arrived in recent days at Cabrini so when we were in the area I headed to have a look for this one. A very elaborate (if rather dated design) park hidden away in amongst the houses here. It was a warm evening and there were a few muggles around so I needed to be stealthy. Luckily the location suits that and I was on the hunt for the cache. Didn't take too long here before I spotted something that looked a little out of place and the cache was in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache Sharnedog123.

Almost gave up then had a Tweety bird moment - I taut I taw a Puddy Tat. I did. I did. Smiles all round.
Cache found at around noon today just after the thunderstorm last night/this morning. I found the zip lock bag containing the logbook and a small orange pen out in the open about 1m away from GZ. I cleaned off the mud from the bag, log book is a little damp.
I searched around a bit more and managed to find the actual cache container (cleverly hidden!!), the cache was empty and I can only assume that the zip lock bag is meant to be inside. So I placed the zip lock bag and all of its contents back into the cache container and hid it where I found it.
Hopefully its all correct, but it'd be nice if the CO could check it out too

Excellent and exactly where it should be. A well camouflaged cache, which made me chuckle, and the birdlife were definitely in attendance; two pigeons took a liking to me on my way in and stalked me the whole way to the cache. A favourite point from me for the camo, TFTC Sharnedog123!
Its always cache hunting season
Very nice hide. Took a while to find it.
Lovely little park too, so thanks for bringing me here.

Mum found it right where I was looking. Great cache. I dropped a trackable in this cache after picking it up from Queensland. TFTC
With my son looking for an appropriate size container for him to plant his trackable. Very happy that we drove to this one very cute and fun thank you
I was not really dressed for caching in this spot but I persevered with belieivng my GPS and there was the hide and what a surprise too, so appropriate.
Signed and replaced and vowed not to leave the path again this morning!
Thanks Sharnedog123

Wow I screamed thinking it was real and realise it was the cache great spot and I think I should see what really is close up before I scream next time thank you for cache
TFTC - worth the extra search.
Great spot, great hide...
... and the perfect start for my travel pinguin bug (amongst birdies) ... hope he can travel around and meet other birds (and fish !)

Found with Quiet1_au. It was a bit damp so there were few people about. Still, there were some muggles over the water. Q had a fair idea of where this was, even so we looked with no luck. I moved away a touch and found a likely nook which revealed the cache. Thanks Shamedog123
GJMMelb
GJMMelb
I've had a couple of attempts at finding this one but without luck, so was glad to have G' of GJMMelb with me (and a good hint too) to help ensure it was going to be a smiley this time. We searched at GZ for a while, but it wasn't until G' expanded the search area a bit more that he came up with the cache. No cachers were harmed in the finding of this cache thankfully - I forgot to bring gloves... TFTC
Lovely hide. Third park ive been to today that i didnt know existed. This one is great and the Find even better
I took the wrong track to start but this just meant I got to enjoy the park for a few more minutes as I circled around the pond. It took a couple of minutes but I found it after checking all the other possible spots first.
Thanks Sharnedog123 for the cache.
Thanks Sharnedog123 for the cache.
The cutest cache I've ever seen! Thanks and Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there!!
With temperatures dropping and battery life waning I was in a hurry to find this cache. The initial find nearly left me in the drrink! Was not expecting the camo =D. Awesome little hide
Found this cache whilst travelling around with Gerry83, took a bit of searching around but Gerry83 found it in the end. After logging and leaving a swap we both nearly ended up in the marsh. Going to blame the dew and swampy surrounds and not our lack of co-ordination for that one. Thanks Sharnedog123!
Amazing cache! Found today after coming a few nights ago and not finding (it was pretty dark) so we came back in daylight. Excellent camo! TFTC
Sneaky but cute.
We went hunting Cache and we bagged a half a dozen. Number 499
A well hidden cache. Took some trash out.
Signed Log, TFTC Sharnedog123

what a hoot! I knew I was in the right spot but could not see anything obvious and was pretty sure it was not under the reeds. anyway, found it tucked in a very ingenious spot and cleverly camouflaged it almost gave me a scare
After rescuing the cutest geocache ever swapped a minky whale for a pink pendant... Lovely day!! TFTC xox
A spider web scared me off the first time, but I'm glad I went back and had another crack at it today. My first find and I'm hooked! TFTC!
Dunko and I found ourselves with an opportunity for some late arvo and evening caching today.
So after collecting Dunko we set off, along our route we found all caches we attempted without any issue, logged them and replaced as found. We enjoyed the types of hides and cache’s some we had to wait a short time for people to move on but that’s how it goes.
Our thanks to Sharnedog123 for the effort and placement TNLN SL

Slink1 and I found an opportunity to sneak out for some late in the day caching. So after mounting up we set off on our way to pick up a few in the local area. We were fortunate enough to find all caches we attempted without too much difficulty, logged and replaced them as we found them. We had a great outing and enjoyed the fun. TNLN TFTC SL.
What a lovely park !!!
Thank you for bring me here ,and the cache is very fitting to the park
Fav point from me

Thought this one would be really hard, but I'm glad we persisted. It's quite a maze in this part of the park, soo well hidden. Tftc!!
Beautiful spot and a very fun cache! Friendly wildlife, and serious stealth necessary Tftc!

Didn't want to disturb too many birds whilst searching this area but couldn't be helped to get the cache! Favourite for me! Tftc Sharnedog

Find #727
I had a very good idea of what I was probably looking for here, but it was still a very daunting task, especially with all that nasty pampas grass.
Having had previous bad experiences with the stuff I was very reluctant to get too close to it. Unfortunately it was required. Took WAY too long for me to find, but the saving grace here is the fact that the coordinates I had seemed to be pretty good. Just too much of a close encounter with a plant that bites back....
Thanks to Sharnedog123 for the cache and the fun

Having found #3 and #4 in the series already we were tuned in to looking for particular things. Luckily Dee was on hand to point me to the correct GZ (unlike my incorrect one!) and the find was made quickly and discreetly.
Ssssshhhhhhhh I'm hunting Tupperware with the assistance of billion dollar satellites. Tftc
Found @ 6:29pm, find # 2983.
Another great night out caching with Biggles1024, with my goal to reach 3000 cache finds before the end of the night.
This was a nice time to visit this park as there was no one around. We headed over to GZ and started to look around the area, after a short time Mark had located the cache.
Thanks to Sharnedog123 for placing this cache.

Find #915
Stemicmitsar and I again teamed up for a Friday/Saturday caching run. Tonight's primary goal was Steve's 3000th find.
We had an uncharacteristically slow start because we were muggled out at the first four or five caches we attempted and it was around an hour after we left Steve's place before we made our first find.
I'd heard some good things about this series and it didn't disappoint. Very nice camo. SL TFTC

Find # 3618
Streak: 211 days
Out for my daily cache find after work and pin pointed this one as the one. I parked in the nearby side street and headed to GZ where thankfully there were not too many people about. My gps settled eventually and after the initial trick was recognised, the cache was found. Very nice camo on this one.

I was in the area waiting while beta male was at a party at the trampoline centre not too far down the road, so ideal to grab a few caches in a part of town i rarely visit.
A lovely walk down the path to this cache. While the traffic I'd encountered en route was enough to put me off living here, the lovely parks and antique styling to this whole area redeemed it, and made one appreciate the forethought of planners past to make sure these spaces existed. A lovely little promenade here...
At GZ it was a thankfully private spot to search - especially given the multitude of muggles around. Speaking of which, this 'private' spot seems to have also attracted a muggle or two who had left a slightly odd note about losing, um, something at this spot at the same time as he accidentally found the cache. One might suggest he wasn't paying enough attention to the task at hand. Ahem.... Anyway! As a consequence the cache was camouflaged, but in full sight. So I found, removed the muggle note and signed the log, and then returned slightly better hidden.
TFTC Sharnedog123. A lovely spot to be this afternoon....

Our 8250th overall find.
Another week in Melbourne and I decided to head out and find a few caches in the local area. As usual I only looked at caches with more than 10 favorite points. This is a nice little wander in a lovely park. Why they ban wedding photos is beyond me! The cache was located just as it got dark.
Thanks Sharnedog123 for the cache.

Unfortunately we had to do this one quickly as we were due to pick someone up. I'd have liked to have longer to look around the pond and see what was here. Lovely location. Good hide. Left TB. TFTC.
We found this cache today at 11:45am as number 7 of 7 on a late Sunday morning hot caching hour. Hedgeley Dene is one of my favourite little parks in Melbourne, especially when we have had a bit more rain. The ducks and pigeons were all sitting together under a tree waiting for the cool change. Once at GZ, I looked around and thought that this was going to take ages but thanks to a very smart hide and cache container, it was not so. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
We'd found another Sharnedog123 cache a week or so back, so geodaughter and I were thinking this might be similar. After watching some live cache containers, we wandered around the lake and made a easy find - well not counting that razor sharp grass I managed to damage myself on slightly.
Thanks Sharndog123 - A nice cache in a great place.

Amazing cameo! Really enjoyed exploring the park and looking for this one!! TFTC!!
After dropping my Dad at hospital thought it would be time on this very hot day to find some caches muggle free...most sensible muggles are in air con .....not me out caching so TFTC Great camp
Have tried a few times for this one so good to tick it off although a few people around so didn't log. TFTC - best disguise I've found yet!
Still peeping out - hope it doesn't get picked up. Thanks Sharnedog123. I give it a vote.
