Time to get away for the weekend, so a weekend trip to Bendigo (& St Arnaud) was organised with Geoturtle37.Today with the geo-scooters all powered up, we targetted the ORT & PPPT trails. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, whit's wanderers ~~
This trail, or as much of it as we could accomplish, was the target for today. We had a great time and found all that we looked for. Hope to make a follow up trip in the not too distant future. Thanks for keeping the old trail going and filling in the gaps. Lovely trail to walk, ride, scoot etc. Thank you for bringing it back to life for geocachers.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache whit's wanderers.**SKI Pair****
I have decided that today is operation finish OKeefe rail trail day. There is about 20+ left to do but Im going to finish it off. Bit chilly today but that just allows me to mark up on my walk. Great rail trail and TFTC.
I walked the Bendigo end of the trail today and checked on all the caches. This one was out in the open but all ok so I tucked it into a slightly better location, ready for the next cacher.
Another one before turning back Thanks whit's wanderers for PPPT - Kick Start Series - "Revolution"#6025
TFTC - A few days in Bendigo. Attempting the rail trail today on my e scooter Cache is good condition
In Bendigo for the weekend for a freinds 50th birthday so it gave us a chance to get and about exploring the local area to knock of some caches.

Our tenth cache for the day. After a bit of a look about we found it. Thank you.
Another nice find. There's a bit of surfacing work here today but still fully open. Many thanks
Found by Rebel Acts
I had been thinking about a trip to Bendigo for over a month so that I could find My centroid cache and with an event in town this weekend plans were made to do a few days caching with My good mate Omegaman1971.There are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.

Found with Posums on our caching day in and around Bendigo. We have found caches on various sections of the trail so it was nice to come back and nab a few more. Love rail trails. Thanks for the cache
Well there is an event on in Bendigo today that might involve some ice cream so a message to my good caching buddy GemmaSistema was sent out to see if she wanted to spend another fun day out caching as a lot of things have gotten in the way of us going out recently.
One of the best navigators going around as I could easily get myself lost in a carpark.
A total of 35 caches and a few Ad Labs thrown so a good day out.
Now time for a bit more walking.
Slowly doing sections of the rail trail with each visit we make up here and it was mentioned that we should bring our bikes up here one day as it would be a lot easier for us.
Thanks whit’s wanderers and Friends_of_the_Trail TFTC.

Started the O'Keefe Trail on my bike at lake Weeroona and worked my way down towards Axedale. All caches were found in good working order unless otherwise specified.
Thanks heaps for the caches and maintaining them for us to enjoy.

Dippa46 and I had a few days in Bendigo visiting some interesting places and finding a few caches on the way. TFTC
Easy find on a visit to Bendigo, staying with geo-son and daughter-in-law.
Must return with bicycle!
Thanks for the cache.

As the MTB is in for a service and clean this week, I headed out on the rail trail today. And, yeah, it’s hot Grateful for the shady trees on the route. Roughly 30 kliks (and it felt harder pedalling on the way back ), 26 finds, 1 DNF, 1 MIA, and a log without a container. Had a packed lunch in the park at Axedale and topped up my water. Also used a handy refill water station on the ride back. Some weren’t really powertrail hides, and the cycling gear made it difficult to get to some spots. Scrambling required. Can’t tell you how many cyclists slowed to ask if I needed help when at a cache stop Even saw a tandem MTB today A fun day out.

Went for an enjoyable walk today with the Grandchildren.
The cache was easy to find, however, the container was missing the pencil so no record of the find was possible.

We are visiting Bendigo for a few days and decided to do part of the rail trail today.
Spent last weekend in Mildura and headed back home via Bendigo stopping for breakfast. Lucky we didn't go for a haircut! just the cafe, so far so good on the covid front.
Sunday mornings are Trailstevo and my walk day, 10km+ normally and a coffee, on this occassion a 6.5km out and back along the trail. 13km in total and collecting a bunch of the PPPT series. Thanks for bringing us to this trail, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the fresh air.

Up at Heathcote for an Astronomy weekend, and did a bit of caching in the area during the day.
Unloaded the deadly treadly and rode the rest of these caches into Bendigo.
A good collection of sizes and hides made for a very pleasant ride.
Thanks, Robmc.

After a morning spent at the Hole In One comp, (Yay, I won a prize) and then meeting muggle GF's parents, it was time to unwind with a good stretch of the legs. My lady is like an Eveready battery, she just never stops. So we walked and walked to grab a heap of these caches in the late afternoon heat.
Our thanks to Whit's Wanderers for placing these caches, and to FOTT for maintaining them.
Next time I'm bring the bike..

Decided to escape town for a few days to do some exploring and get off the couch after a lazy weekend. Packed the car and headed north!
This one was covered in bugs but managed to retrieve it and sign the log.
Thanks whit's wanderers for the cache.
