Had a good scratch around for this one today. No cache seen within a 10 metre radius of gz or the clue. It could do with a check from the CO as per previous dnfs.
Spent some time here to no avail. Really needs CO to check it out.
Was a nice drive out of town but still would have been nice to find cache.

Guarded by a giant not nice looking spider. Unable to get close enough to the tree to look. Be careful when entering the area
Had a look today 16 Jan 17 and couldnt locate this one. I did find the rose-bush type thorns though upon leaving i did find a sistema 200ml broken lid close to GZ. Thanks for the challenge anyway
Another good find while driving around the area. Took a bit of searching as it wasn't as per hint and container has been broken - human or animal?? TFTC
Found at 3:20pm on this rather dismal spring afternoon as we head for Wangaratta. A quick find and a pleasant change from the old Hume highway. SL left crocodile. Tftc
This cache was our last for the day and gave us a total of 26 caches found. Our aim was 25 for the day and this was the icing on the cake, being on a road previously untraveled by us. The silos were impressive, but the train loaded with stone from the quarry was an added bonus for us. So photos taken of silos, train and lovely countryside before SL at 4.45pm. Left: windmill PT #3795 TFTC and the unexpected sights on our caching afternoon marcwallace. Favourite point given.
A quick find down a country road. Only one car passed us. We admired the huge silos before turning around and heading back to base. TFTC
Found 3:00:00 PM, whilst out with Muzza for our May joint caching expedition. Today we concentrated our efforts North of the city.
TNLN, thanks marcwallace (F=78 H=7).

Today I was out caching with Biggles Bear, cleaning up the remaining 70 caches in the Mt Disappointment series. Having completed the series, we had some spare time to pick up a few more before heading home. This was our last for the day and a nice quick find.
My thanks to marcwallace for the cache.
My thanks to marcwallace for the cache.
I thought we would not be able to find it. The 5 trees are the main clue. Thanks for the nice cache
Found this one today. I was looking for isolated caches (at least 2 km distant from other caches) for a New Zealand challenge cache I am currently doing. This was the next cache that I found and it was the final cache I found before midnight. It took a lot of looking to locate it despite being in the correct location. I eventually found it after battling thorned plants (maybe blackberries). Signed log today and continued onwards.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Went to the silos first and couldn't find anything!

#206 cool silos, and more cars than we expected on this road! Otherwise an easy find for doamono and I. Tftc!
Surprising amount of muggles in cars driving past! Easy find once there was a break in the cars. With myshell22. TFTC.
Good hiding spot on a hot afternoon - had some trouble finding the area due to no street signs when we needed them!! Spotted the silo ok.

#1032 - Cool old structure for a view. I'd love to get up on top of them! Tftc
TFTC This is was a great spot close to home that we never knew about, so it was very interesting.... son loved seeing the Big Silos.
Easy find. Quite an interesting location - especially if you have an interest in railways. thanks marcwallace.
TFTC!
On our way home from dropping RedLeader&Fox2 at the airport, we thought we should grab some more caches....this was one of them.
Found with Shellumbus.

Thanks for the clue as well as the cache marcwallace. It was an interesting road - especially the 'bridge' ( not sure what else to call it) in sections in the paddock. Very interesting.
This cache was a good find but needs a bigger cache box but thank you for this cache
s&d u3a consists of Seymour and District U3A members. We had 5 on this day of caching although we started out with 4 and 1 joined us about 11.30am. Some members had already found one or more for which we searched during the day. Like all geocachers the wonder of seeing other cachers looking for a cache is what makes us come along, even though we have already found it.
Easy find.

Found on our way home to Western Vic from the launch of the Lake Eildon GeoTour on the weekend. Now if it hadn't been for this cache, we would never have discovered this back road. We were heading towards the Kilmore Raceway anyway, so this was an ideal route to take. TFTC.
Second cache of the day and again without GPS or cache notes. I did however remember the clue which was really helpful once I spied the silos.
I had to be careful around GZ as I was in my races finery but escaped unscathed.
Thanks

Out for a day's caching with hembee and yamidotty.
Very prickly to get into the cache. Darn roses.

A very wet log book.
Had a day's caching with Mr Tickles and yamidotty. Had a lovely day. The rain held off and we collected 10 caches which, for us, is a good haul.

Loved this spot. Could have been a movie location. Had a fun drive around on the gravel. Went to drive along the tracks under the silo til co-cacher reminded me it wasn't my car...
Really nice place to visit...told hubby it made me feel like being on a movie set. Took nothing..left a coin. Thank you for sharind and the cache!
Dropped by today to photograph the Apex, a twice daily goods train operated by Pacific National that transports quarry products from here to Brooklyn and Westall. The train is normally here between 11:30am and 2:30pm and returns after dark. After the train had left I grabbed the cache. Nice easy find, the log book is damp but other than that the cache is in good condition. TNLNSL TFTC marcwallace.
Today I went with Ruschie for lunch at Lancefield. The weather was ideal so we spent some time caching, and found this cache along the way. tftc.
Crusty.

We were on a mission to get Melbourne's oldest cache, and picking up a few along the way, we stopped in for this one, thanks for showing us these silos and thanks for the cache.
Lots of action just down the line but deserted near GZ so it was a quick find and log early this morning TFTC marcwallace
A day long appointment in Melbourne meant I had an opportunity to find a few caches on the way home.
Last time I looked for this cache I ended up following some very poor directions from the GPS and ended up on a dirt road near Broadford. Today I spent a bit of time checking back and forth before deciding which road to follow. Once at the siding it was a short walk in the dark for a quick find without snagging on the barbed wire.
Thank you for the cache marcwallace.

Family asked wanted I wanted to do for my birthday this weekend and as I didn't want any fuss, I just wanted a weekend away. So off we headed to Yarrawonga for the weekend to celebrate and find some smileys as an added bonus. Probably the longest it has ever taken us to do this trip but as I got out to cache it gave hubby the chance to have a quick smoke. He is not into caching, so I was surprised when he suggested we find some on the way.
Of course took the wrong road and had to back track but an easy find once at gz. Thanks for highlighting these silos marcwallace.
