No luck for us here today - think that maybe the c/o should check this one out as it hasn't been found in quite some time. Could be a case of cache blindness, or it could have gone AWOL??
Wondering if it's been moved. From description of others we didn't find anything fitting.
The second cache found on our loop walk around the wetlands. A quick find but extracting the cache took a lot longer. Great hide, and cache is is good condition. Thanks for placing this cache here on such a great walkway!
TFTC here from Canada on holidays with SwagHo to Geocache and sightsee beautiful NZ.
Mr B went straight to the cache, picked it up and then put it back. I asked him to take another look as there was nothing else catching my eye. He picked it up again and had a proper look at it and saw where the log was concealed! A good hide. We will give it a favourite. TFTC.
This was my third visit and the first with the Crood Kids. Crood "Two Rock" L found this within seconds and i was left looking like an idiot. Note to self...bring kids on ALL caching missions. TFTC a fav from us.
Nice hide on way to burwood.lots of pukeko around today. Husband impressed with container.
GPS showing 7 metres but I just had a feeling about something, and there it was! Sneaky hide, well done! TFTC
A fun road trip with tmann421 enjoying the sights and collecting some caches.
Found after a short search. A clever hide. TFTC

Enjoying the drive / walk around.
J-L soon located this one - I was looking in all the wrong places!

Very cunning hide so gets a favourite from us. Had to look around about 5 times before a quick jiggle showed something not quite right and quickly had the cache in hand.
Tftc! Found with cab165. I have traditionally laughed at cab165 when I can see something that doesn't quite belong, or is out of the ordinary. When she spied it within 30seconds of her first arrival on my third visit, a small tear came from my eye. I taught her well
Found with odgersaj back when I first started and didn't understand the app/have a prem account - now I do though! Signed the log back then but didn't do the online bit so logging now. This one took us longer than it should have...Thank you!!
This one had us scratching our heads for a bit till I spotted something and there it was. A crafty wee hide that deserves a favourite.
Last time I wanted to look for this one- it was potentially lost- so I didn't give it much of a look. Today I was keeping my Grand-daughter occupied so we came for a wander. Stink hot day, and I was trying to find shade. My gps was a bit wonky, but then I spotted something- and sure enough, it was a sneaky little cache. Nice one- deserves a fav.
Brought grandma along for the third time lucky hunt, and yes there it was( it must be those glasses on grandma) very cleaver hide
Got the little blighter this time! Thank you CO 4th time's the charm LOL
Oh, the log is full so I wrote on the back.

The old coordinates of S43 28.808 E172 41.402 were spot on which means that someone has moved the cache. Since it is difficult for me to do maintenance on this one and move it back where it belongs, I am updating the coordinates to those which fortunately, a cacher who has found the cache has provided, thank you. Thanks to Skaga for the better coordinates. We already knew that there is no point using the GPS, but these new data put us closer to the correct spot. TFTC
Had no joy with the listed coordinates. Found it with the newly suggested coordinates. Great hide, it put me in the mood to watch Buffy. TFTC!
Sneaky creative container...we love it!
A bit tough to find, enjoyed the wetlands and the walk. TFTC

Found where Skaga said it would be. Very far out from Base coordinates. Great cache though.
Really nice walk through the wetlands....this cache is well away from given coordinates, we looked at GZ for awhile but then checked the cords skaga gave and yes there was the sneaky little cache. very nice hide...TFTC
#1977 Found with nic-jay while down for MEGA. We were a little hesitant because of the DNFs but were determined. After a few minutes searching, I had the cache in hand. Clever hide although co-ords many metres out. Added some co-rds that I took on my phone. TFTC!
Found with Skaga during the Mega.
After widening our search area, Skaga soon had the cache in hand. A very satisfying find after all the DNFs. Clever wee hide.

This one foiled me today! I was in a hurry to get to Bottle Lake when I remembed there was park and grab here. I foolishly didn't read the description and logs and gave up looking. It's only when I got home and read the page that I was like "doh!" I pass every day on the way to work so I'll hopefully get a smiley soon!
Was meant to be a quick lunch find. Looked 20 m each side of GZ in trees. Could not see a cache
Mr cacher thought he knew what he was looking for. We gave up after a good time, an slowly started walking to the carpark. Mr cacher (not 1 to quit an always on the prowl) spotted the cache! He knew what he was after! Cache was a good 20 meters out, it's still around though an in good condition TFTC
No luck for us today. Nice to visit this spot but sad to log a dnf. Perhaps if we'd had more time or the kids hadn't preferred digging in the gravel to searching...
Broke a couple of nails but worth it for a well thought out cache. Didn't have my caching bag as been visiting someone in hospital but a quick find. Lovely wetlands and big fan of pukeko and there were heaps.
Found on an overcast Sunday afternoon. Wasn't sure whether the cache is in the correct spot as it was lying in plain view and we were unsure as to where it was originally placed. May pay to check it. Tftc.

The last cache for the day, approached a bit cautiously due to the difficulty rating and previous logs. However, it did not take long before I noticed something being 'not quite normal'. The hardest part was to extract the container to be able to sign the log. Just a few muggles passed, two jogging and one cycling.
A very clever hide that took me some time to figure out what I was looking for!
Thankfully nobody was around to disturb me...

I had a hunch on what I thought I was looking for. My hunch proved spot on, however it took longer to access the log than find the cache! A thwack did the trick. TFTC (1233)
it is a lovely easy walk to do but this time just drove to cache site. Was thinking we may have to log a DNF but success. Well hid.

Did this with paddle chick a long time ago and now back with Sir Belac to sign the log
Really nice cache - thanks for the effort in this cache is was a highlight of the day LGM
TFTC. It was about time that I got out for a few hours of caching. Today was an amazing winters day - so warm it felt like summer already.
This was my favourte cache of the day. At GZ I had to wonder what that sneeky "broc" had been up to - all was revealed and I had a greta smile on my face.
Thanks looking4thebroc for placing this great the cache.
A favourite vote from me.

Replaced the log and rehid the cache correctly. Please be sure to hide the cache as you found it to prevent it from being muggled.
easy find, think it has been moved a little. really appreciate work that went into this. tftc

I needed a cache for the day... but not just any cache! My consecutive caching day # 500 cache!!!!
500 DAYS OF CACHING CONSECUTIVELY!! crazy...
Had some ideas of what to go for, but I didn't actually have a chance to get my cache for the day till after like 8pm.
So I decided that this would be reasonable to go for - a bit scared of the dark, and this was one of my closest unfound not in a major bushway to here.
Got here, and spent a while looking around using the phone light... till I read the bit about not needing to leave the path!! - Well that made me change tact - and then I had the cache not long after
BUT OH YEAH!!! WAS VERY EXCITED AFTER THAT!!!!!
Consec caching day #500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick easy find as we had a family walk along the path. Have always liked this area. Thanks for the hide.
Wow, that took ages to figure out. Silly me, not sure why I missed that one for so long. Anyhow, lots of muggles but managed to find a break. Cheers, tis a good one.
I pulled up for this one in front of another car and when they got out I wondered if we were heading to the same place. I stopped to take a photo but, yep, I was greeted with "looking for something" when I arrived. Hello Tbirds! The three of us searched for a bit until Mrs Tbird uncovered the clever cache. Nice. TFTC. I was so glad it had stopped raining for us to get this! Took my Pokey black coin for a visit too.
We were ahead of another walker on the track. We got to GZ and hung about innocently waiting for her to pass. However she didn't and as she had her smartphone in her hand, there was a reasonable chance she was there for the same reason we were. After ascertaining she was, we joined forces to look for the cache. Good to talk with you, justmeg, and thanks for the various info.
It took a few minutes before mrs tbird spotted the cache. A nifty hide. #371. TFTC.

We were in the area to do the Parklands multi and this cache was en route so would have been rude not to stop for it. I was still saying "my GZ is over here" when StreetWalker found the nicely camoed cache over there. Took a bit of a wrestle to get the cache out of its camo, though. TFTC.
#6846. Spotted something of interest as soon as we got to GZ (which was a relief as the drizzle was starting up again). Nice camo. TFTC.
I over thought this one and then my daughter said 'got it'. She's quite quick at this caching caper. Thanks looking4thebroc for the clever hide.
Stopped by after reading Popmac's log about the cache being in the open. I returned it to its proper hiding place.
Please be sure to return the cache back to its proper hiding place after you find it. This is a popular path and if the cache is sitting out in the open, it will be muggled.

A quick find. Cache was found out in the open. returned to where I found it. May not be the intended hide location though. Thanks for the cache.
Quickly spotted but more difficult to extract. Had to wait before replacing as 3 couples all went by on a walk. Thanks.
Three generations of cachers decided to go for a 3.84km walk this morning for the oldest cacher to continue with his challenge to find a cache a day for 50 days. This was a very enjoyable walk as we walked 1/3 the way around the wetlands.
Gave the youngest cacher the chance to find the cache. After explaining the definition of perpendicular to him he soon had the cache in hand.
Cheers for the cache.

A quick find thanks to having found two similar hides in the past. I wasn't meaning to swing past here but road closures forced my hand. TFTC
After dropping MacPacDad off at Burwood Hospital to have ankle surgery decided to get a close by cache as not often out this side of town. There were 8 pukekos on the grass seeming to enjoy the misty rain as I came in. Took a wander along the path. Not been here before and will return on a day less damp to explore further. Nicely done cache - worth a favourite point.
Did my Peter Piper thing and started to mutter something about the CO's parentage - but could find any alliteration to go that or with evil bugger. Had my mind set on something different to that which it eventually was. Was scratching my head when I found myself literally staring at it. Fortunately, had extraction tools with me. Great hide well done (I can say that now I have found it)
[blue]Day 31 of our 31 Days of Caching Challenge.[/blue] [purple] We made IT!!![/purple] This was #14 of the 27 we found before the event today.
We arrived at GZ looked at the size and started thinking bad thoughts. Once you get over the mammoth job that could be ahead and start looking with your brain then you should find it pretty quickly. An awesome cache in a great location. Thanks for the extra effort. [red]+ 1 fav point from us[/red] Thanks for the cache

I was on the long way home today after picking up the new LGM puzzle and wanted to grab one or two more before I headed home. I parked on the busy road and headed to GZ. I was scratching my head as I arrived at GZ and wondered where I'd find a nano in all this. Before I dove in I had a look around and my trained builders eye noticed something amiss. Hmm, I wonder what that could be? Ha, sure as eggs I had it. It was a nano and concealed in a nifty wee shell. Good work L4TB I enjoyed this one and it was all the sweeter when I found it in quick order. I was fortunate as the muggle quotient was low today dispite heaps of cars and camper vans in the carpark. I quickly signed the log and headed further around the wetlands to try my luck at one more of L4TB's caches. Lovely day and it was warm. Dare I say Spring is on its way? Favourite from me! Nice to see some handy work and creativity on a cache.
Thanks for the cache.

After a DNF and still needing to find a cache to get the daily souvenir I headed here after treatment at Burwood Hospital. For once being unsteady on my feet was a blessing when I stumbled at GZ scattering my bag and contents. Nice one looking4thebroc
Justanurse makes the difficult ones so easy at times. Spotted by her straight away. Great cache.
Perhaps the placement is possibly parallel rather than the previously proposed perpendicular position.
Great idea- spotted instantly. Had to use a tool to extract log.
