#5115 Found on the first day of our Easter camping trip. After setting up camp we discovered our fridge cable had been damaged beyond repair. Thankfully we zoomed down to Mitre 10, 10 minutes before closing time and managed to snare the last fridge cable on the shelf. On the way back we couldn't resist grabbing this cache and giving the geohounds a run and sniff fest through the nearby dog park. All good with this hide and TFTC!
I decided to walk this section of the trail when in town with Geo-pup. Most of it I'll do on my mtb. Log's a bit damp. Many thanks
A trip from Canberra, ACT to Whittlesea, Vic with a few side quests for LGAs. TFTC.
Nice quick find on a cold spring day.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
I walked along the trail tonight under torch light, I managed the find and to keep the roos at bay too. There some big roos close to town here.

Our Christmas plans had been put paid to by border restrictions, but the exchange of presents still had to be done.
The younger members of the family weren't interested in the trip, so I travelled alone to enjoy my first cafe lunch in months, followed by the almost obligatory bee sting and coffee at the bakery. And, of course, the good company of my parents.
Gift exchanges and goodbye hugs out of the way, I took advantage of the benefits of a solitary journey, and embarked on a cache hunt.

Excellent hiding spot and we did like the colour of the cache container. The school children were playing in their school yard but were not interested in us.

Nice walk during COVID exercise period. Nice hide easy find great local. Time for a pie now. TFTC.
Replacement cache in place with CO approval. Signed the log and left it in place for the next finder! Thanks for keeping the trail alive
I should be able to get down there to replace the container some time - might not be for a few weeks though
I have a temporary container we will replace tomorrow (whatever we could find at the local store that would fit). Could probably do with a better watertight solution down the track - will make sure this one is as watertight as possible.
Seemed the likely spot. Saw some moved rocks and a bit of blue plastic. I assume it was the old weathered log.
We (team OZCAT) having an enjoyable walk on trail for 5 successive caches. Thanks for placements.
Catnap777 & OZREG formed a team on 10 May 2020.
