Logs
Found on my third attempt! I just couldn't find it so had to bring back the GC husband who found it as fast as I expected! TFTC
Can't believe I went looking for this one again after finding it a few weeks ago but forgetting to log! Was most perplexed to see my own signature the last on the log - oh dear, the loony bin beckons... . TFTC
Solved a few years ago, but ran out of time to collect before heading overseas. TFTC adopted SAROC
Yay - fairly straightforward this time! Many thanks for your mahi behind all these- much appreciated! Nice to spy Sam Hunts digs too
Heading to Wellington and stopped off to continue this series. This was a very busy spot this morning with lots of walkers and dogs, eventually there was a gap and the cache was a quick find. Thanks for the smiley.
Day 7: We ( TeamARF, Gcoven and myself) have travelled over from Brisbane, Australia to have a visit since we were not able to make it to the Mega. We have spent some considerable time solving puzzles and making plans in preparation. We have a gigantic list of old, interesting, highly favourited, challenges and a few Geo-arts to try and collect over the next 10 days. There is a good chance we got lazy with our logging, or space saving depending on the log size and do some joint variation of our initials - TGJ, GJT or JGT.
Today the plan is to work on collecting things of our list - some of the very old caches in and around Wellington and trying to complete Kiwi Geo-art. We are also picking up a few challenges (will check qualifying once home).
Please excuse the generic log, just have extremely little data to try and survive on it for the 10 days. However, you can be assured that if we have found your cache it was special to us for some reason or in a special location - so thank you for contributing to our holiday.
I will edit logs when back in Brisbane to add more details to those that need more details and of course I will be adding favourite points as I go along.

Another day in the land of the long white cloud. TeamARF, JACSTeam and I headed south to Wellington. Lots of rainy caching but still some awesome caches and spectacular locations. Thanks to all COs!!
After a big day cache collecting around Wellington we got back here about 4PM. Our aim is now to collect as many kiwi puzzles before the sun goes down, basically our last opportunity before heading north tomorrow. This was a DNF yesterday in the rain, not today when we looked in the right spot.
Thanks to all the COs for adopting and maintaining their part of this series.

Cute area for a cache! Nice vibes. Every time I take a tb with me to drop off it never fits and when I leave it in the car I come across a larger container! Thanks for placing.
Finally! The last one! It's only taken over a year to collect all the KiwiGT caches. A wet day to make the find, fortunately easy spot once at GZ, so no searching in dripping undergrowth.
But is it the final one? I know of one of the series that went awol, and was archived by the CO. I've heard whispers that it'll be resurrected at some point. Until that happens, though, this is it for me and the KiwiGT. FP is appropriate, I think. Tftc!

The plan is to do a few caches today in and around Porirua just to give my numbers a bit of a pre x-mas push. Just stopping on the way to grab a few more of the Kiwi Geo Trail that I have managed to solve.
Our third cache of the day and today's rain meant we pretty much had the whole pathway to ourselves. Arrived at GZ for a nice quick find. Log sheet was a tiny bit damp otherwise all good.

Out with Nanniekerr getting some of the last ones we have solved. More solving to do now
Hint updated based on previous log entries. Appears the sign that was originally in place has one. With time the small tree has grown a bit. Happy hunting
Had I read past logs I would have realised that I need take no notice of the hint. Cache was a quick find anyway. TFTC
I'm on a geocaching roadie from Whangarei to Dunedin. I've had lots of puzzles solved for such a long time so geoarts were the main target of the trip.
Now it's time to start writing the massive backlog of logs which is taking a while.
In Palmy area I wanted the shield series and the 20/20 geoart. Then Wairarapa was stickman (which we ran out of time for), the new M geoart and some archived skindo challenges. Wellington was finishing off the kiwi geoart. Nelson I had a few challenges I wanted before heading to Christchurch. It was family time there and perhaps the smile series but time ran out again. Off to Dunedin for the airplane geoart. Then it was time to fly home to say goodbye to my son heading to Denmark.
My friend Supernanny came along on the trip but today she spent with family. I teamed up with 0B80B8 - a fellow team G0LD mate from Whangarei.
This puzzle series I started years ago. Some I solved in September 2015. I collected some at the Wellington Mega in 2018 but time was against me as well as roadworks on Gray's Rd. I had to resolve some as the puzzles as hides had changed since I started solving them. A few trees were searched and it turned out to be in the nearest one to the track. The log was wet but I think we managed to sign it. I really appreciate the effort to keep this Geoart going, TFTC

Was down from Northland for a few days visiting daughter who has moved into a new flat in Porirua. The weather wasn't that flash on arrival day, but the following days were quite nice, so managed to get in a little caching.
The Kiwi Geotrail puzzles were nearby and I had made a point of solving them all in the last month, so they were the prime target today. As luck would have it, fellow Team G0LD member Lis was driving through Porirua today, on her way to the South Island and she still had a few Kiwis left to find, so we teamed up for a few hours, to see if we could knock the series off.
Took a little while here before Lis found the cache actually out in the open. Our find was near "no sign, medium multi trunked, 3m from path" TFTC

We’re nearly there! This was the second to last Kiwi GeoTrail cache for and I before the whole kiwi will be yellow . A big shoutout to Itchyfeet for a very helpful last log which made our search much simpler. Log was very wet so we left a new one inside a ziplock bag. TFTC. KTG
Nice and easy find for KTG and myself whilst taking the dog for a walk. 2nd last log to turn the whole Kiwi GeoTrail into smiles. Whoop whoop. What a journey it's been. TFTC
Man that was hard to find! I am not sure how long i was here but i suspect 20-30 mins if not more. Reading prior logs I gave up on the hint advice and searched all hint objects regardless of size around 2-4m in. Luckily i didnt have anybody pay me much attention, thanks to being during working hours. More layers of natural cameo than i assumed CO intended as i searched this area twice before i kept coming back to it and started digging! Now no longer buried but still has intended cameo. Best advice is on a prior log - first hint object dosent seem to exist, second object is not small anymore and use 2m instead of 1. Co-ords are good. Yah a real achievement find - as i nearly walked away twice but didnt and got rewarded with the find. TFTC.

Could not find the first hint object at the co-ordinates, and the owners of a nearby boat shed arrived just as we were trying to figure out what the second hint object might be, so we left it for today.
Found with some help from a much younger person. Tree is not small anymore and is 2 metres from the path. Sign has fallen over. TFTC
Always grateful to have the microcachers with us when there is a tiny bit of bank scrambling to be done! They were in and had found it before we'd even had chance to read the clue! Number two for today.
I have lost my notebook! When I go on a geotrip I record my finds and notes in a notebook or, as in the case of this big circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki that Taybeedragon and I did over Christmas, in three notebooks. And I have lost notebook number 3 - 29th December onward. Luckily I enter the caches as found on the GPS (helps with avoiding backtracking) so I am using my GPS log to identify which caches I found/DNFed. Alas, however, no cache notes. So it is now March - and I am relying on memory. A fickle thing, memory. I suspect most will have no notes above. Sorry, folks. I mean, I can see the final on the map, and sometimes that sparks a memory, but mostly - no.
Many thanks for a great geoart. I have been saving this for when I can do the whole lot in one day.

Running around Pahatahanui Inlet today to capture a family of Kiwis roaming around here. Visited Kiwi #56 on along our journey. Cheers
Thanks to The Seagnoid for his puzzle solving abilities.

Out and about with RedEcho this afternoon solving the Kiwi Geo Trail. Quick finds for the most part and some that had us scratching our heads wondering where it could be. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Out and about with MightyMicra for 3rd afternoon in a row after solving all of the Kiwi Geo Trail puzzles between us. Quick finds for the most part with a very competitive spirit between us; some had us scratching our heads for a while but got all of today's batch of 12 in 3 hours. TFTC.
Kiwi Geotrail #2! Good to get the series under way.
I solved all of the puzzles in the series earlier in the year, but haven't had the chance to head out this way to find them yet. Today I put a couple or three hours aside to grab a few of them, and managed 15 (plus some that weren't part of the series. This was another very quick find - luckily, because the area was very busy with dog walkers. Muggles without dogs will usually not notice you when you're a couple of metres off the path amongst the trees, but muggle dogs will usually spot you!

Today is the 14th day of our journey to the south island. I had planned to complete the Kiwi Geotrail before we head to Wellington to take the ferry to the south island. Having arrived near the Lake yesterday I was able to pick up seven of the series on our way to the campsite after visiting Rivendell and eating dinner in the Upper Hut area. We spent the night at the edge of the lake and after eating breakfast I started to collect the Kiwi Caches at around 9:30am.
I mannaged to find 55 caches today, 54 of which to complete the Kiwi. It took me a total of 10 1/2 hours to complete the trail at 8:00pm in a rather slow pace.
This was # 16 of 55 caches today.
The puzzle was solved after a bit of frustration and a bit of help as I couldn't get the checksum to work for me. We parked the car and entered the walkway midway walking to one side and then the other picking up 6 of the Kiwi caches along the way. This one was a quick find once a lot of muggle walked past. Very bussy walkway today. Tftc.

I was out and about today as part of Team GST (Gr33nslime, Stardust718, TwigNZ), working our way around the Pauatahanua Inlet finding all the Porirua Kiwi GeoTrail series of puzzle caches, plus a few selected others along the way.
In spite of the recent bad weather, we were lucky enough to have mainly sunshine today although the blowing southerly certainly left the air very fresh at times. I had already found a few of this series, as had Gr33nslime, but for the sake of ease whilst logging, all logs today were signed 'Team GST' regardless of whether we had found them before or not.
This one was a swift find at GZ, in spite of initially missing the cache on first inspection. All was fine with this container and the logsheet, so it was signed quickly and replaced exactly as found before we headed onto the next .
Thanks for the Puzzle, and the cache. A great way to help me celebrate 2 years of caching.

Team GST (Gr33nslime, Stardust718, TwigNZ) got together again for another caching trip. This time with a focus on finding all the Porirua Kiwi GeoTrail. We had a lovely drive around the area over 7-8 hours in which I found 70 caches. The parking at times was quite tricky and crossing the busy road was even worse but we all ended the day mostly unharmed (except for a few scratches from gorse).
I started solving all the kiwi caches only 2 weeks before our trip. Fortunately most of them were quite straight forward and the information that was required was almost immediately obvious.
#10 of 70 today. Took a few minutes to locate the cache here as it wasn't quite as the hint suggested but as there were only a few options of hide locations to search it didn't take too long to find it.

We were staying in Upper Hutt for the week over Easter break and hoped today was finally the day we finished off the Kiwi Geo Trail. Our first go was in Oct 2013 and we did roughly 1/3, we did some more in Oct 2016 and finally wanted to finish it today. This section of the track was abit busier and it was hard to look inconspicuous so we tried to be as fast as possible. Mum was up and I was down and just as Mum had found the cache I looked to see if anyone was coming so she could pass me the log to sign and who do we see coming... John Campbell from TV. He didnt stop walking so as he passed I just said "Nothing to see here were just geocaching." Thanks to both the original owner and now the adoptive owner for the effort involved in placing and creating this series for all of us to enjoy.
Find # 213. Log book disintegrated so replaced it. Also added a silica gel packet to help it stay dry. Cache was exactly where expected. Found with Aros71 on a blustery Waitangi Day out. Lots of muggles out with their dogs in this part of the world today. TFTC.
Kiwi GeoTrail Rima Tekau Ono (Porirua) was transferred from CaligulaNZ to user SAROC
Took a nice walk this afternoon with my sisters to try get them out of the house. Waited a little here for muggles before clambering up and grabbing the cache. Tftc!
Today was the last official day of the Mega.
Plans were to collect as many puzzle caches that we had solved in the area plus anything else that came along.
Most of the puzzles were road side witch was extremely busy so parking in some cases were peoples driveways and balancing on road edges and some we didn't go for as they were to difficult to get to. Another day and we have to return.
Al in all a very successful day. SLTFTC

TFTC. Kiwi GeoTrail was oe of the targets for three keen MEGA attendees. KotukuSI and warfi were great companions and puzzle solvers in prep for this adventure.
We manged to complete the caches in a day (minus 2) and were truely warn out after our activities.
thanks to the original placer and the cachers who have taken over maintainence of the trail.

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... Our big focus for today will be to clear out the Kiwi Geo Art trail around the Pauatahanui Basin. We are expecting some challenges here - narrow roads and lots of muggles. With Gap (of Fap and Gap), NZFlossy, and McJandals...
Sunday: We were a little more relaxed today, since there were no pressures to be at certain places on time... Onto the Kiwi Geo Trail. We enjoyed solving each of the puzzles in this series. Each one provided just the right amount of challenge. What a great variety of authentic kiwiana puzzles...
We managed to find most of the Kiwis in their hides. Some were in a lot better condition than others, and we can imagine how challenging it might be to maintain some of them. We found the speed and flow of traffic, and tight parking made things difficult at times. We learnt to be resourceful and resilient as the day drew on. In all, thanks to each of the COs for your input into this series... Apologies for the cut and paste logs. TFTP and TFTC.

Caching the GeoArt trail with purdiepurdie & warfi; we are still at the early part of our trail.

Solved this series a while ago, many of the puzzles were reasonably straightforward but a few required a bit more work to get the right answer. We came down this weekend to attend the MEGA nearby so planned to spend a few hours on the Sunday in this area to pickup this series. That proved a little more challenging than first thought as we had plenty of other distractions in Upper Hutt and there is a lot more walking involved to grab some of these caches than we had anticipated. We ended up getting around half of them on the Northern side of the harbour (some of which proved to be difficult to find places to park on the side of a busy road) before we had to get back to the airport. Thanks for this interesting series.
We parked at a small beach area we walked the nice track along this area to all 5 caches - got a lot more exercise than I bargained for along this section of the series. Interesting spot here, there is a painting of a deceased well known New Zealander close by and wonder if he used to live there?
No problems finding the cache but log is saturated - managed to sign the top as could not unfold in its present condition, sorry no spares with us this weekend.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, Philip Perry, TNXPRO and Davidson Clan (To save room on logs) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers
Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
Nanzie and I solved all of the trail in preparation for the Mega trip, now its time to see how many we can find. Thanks for the trail

14th of the kiwi geoart puzzle day with gely57. The road ones were difficult and with the help of a new zealand cacher I was finally able to solve them. Helpful hint made it a quick find. TFTC,
Worked out the co-ords with Teahan Family and as we are both over for the MEGA event we tried to complete the series today. Some caches were found in very good condition (being looked after by SAROC) and some that are in need of attention with wet logs and rusty containers. Really enjoyed the series, thanks CO.
I am on a solo geocaching trip. I flew in from Christchurch yesterday. My focus today was my visit to the Dutch Embassy yo renew my passport. Once that was done it was back to geocaching. Concentrating on the Geo art and anything else that grabbed my attention.
A nice walk.
Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au

Another beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon to be caching in Wellington. Time to continue with the Kiwi. A quick find. All safe and dry here, although the log sheet is not in great shape. TFTC.
This afternoon Gr33nslime, DangerSAM and I went out for another mission to travel the solar system. We blasted back over the hill to the Kiwi GeoTrail series over in the Porirua Harbour area. And this time we had a little more knowledge of where to go and what we were looking for exactly. Again we decided to knock off a bunch of caches clustered around an easy to access area. At first this involved a couple of park and grabs as Gr33nslime navigated us through some windy streets. These were a big change from yesterday, so nice and discrete, giving plenty of time to have a decent poke around for the cache. No muggles about so that was very much appreciated. Do not know why as today the weather was stunning, hardly a cloud in the sky. Well I must have spoken too soon as when we came to the main chuck of caches we intended to do, the fine day seemed to have drawn out all the family walkers and those little dog shaped things that seem intent to poo right where I put DangerSAM DangerPram wheels, all well. We ended up having a great walk around the coast on a very smooth track admiring the still bay and the clear view we had out across the inlet. I never would have come down here if it wasn’t for these caches so I thank the CO for that. After walking past some boat houses, we stopped for ice cream (mandatory for the little one) and set off home. Even then the day was not so quickly over as we managed to grab a few of the series on the way home, with Gr33nslime being a master of the dash, dig and retrieve method, perfect for those busy places. In all a very rewarding day today with only one cache we could not locate, but we will be back.
# 1046 The Planetary Challenge encouraged me to revisit this series of caches that I had solved about four years ago and hadn't yet got around to collecting, as I had left the area and was now back. I was happy that in four years only four had to be resolved, so that is a great effort for a big series like this!
I had a bit of difficulty with the Roads series of puzzles as I had tried a few things, and it hadnt given me any clear results. It wasnt until I tried the same thing, but from a different resource that it all aligned and the results appeared. JimmyNZ had something to do with that!
With DangerSAM in the DangerPRAM and Jimmy NZ in tow, we were heading for a walk along the lovely inlet on a mild sunday afternoon to pick up a few of the kiwi geotrail.. What a lovely track this is and how very popular on a sunday afternoon which makes it tricky to time to extraction of a cache. Again I took the hit on this one and ended up definitely more than 1 m from the track, was more like 4 m, but lucky it was in one of the first places I looked. Cache is in good condition!
8/61 of the Kiwi GeoTrail! Thanks to all CO and cachers who have contributed to this geo art and kept it going.

I had to come out his way to pick up some fish from a colleague. After that was done Isis58 and I came here for an enjoyable wander round the pathways here.
Continued our walk along to here soaking in all there is to offer. Had a good nosey parker round deciding which we would want to have a look in. TFTC # 11,818
Love the coloured sheds here — they look like they should be in a jigsaw puzzle. Quick find; collected for our 100, 10, 7 Challenge; signed as B&D. Cheers CaligulaNZ!
A nightmare to solve this one. Took lots of tries. Found with barefootguru as part of 100,10,7 challenge on 2/1/18. TFTC!
Grabbed on walk to get a few more kiwis. Log damp but still able to sign. TFTC
#4368. I needed a few caches today to boost my August total for the 250 caches in a month challenge. So decided to head up to Porirua and tackle a few more of the Kiwi Geotrail. I solved this one recently. Decided the final would be better visited in daylight than at night. The path was a bit wet and muddy. The cache was a little tricky to find. It was about 5m from the path, not 1m. All okay once located. Thanks to XboomstickX for putting out the trail and thanks for the cache CaligulaNZ.
Found with GLAD-NZ and NZREF. Solved sometime ago but managed to get out to find a few. TFTC
Found the new caches on Te Araoa track this morning, now its time to do some more solved Kiwis. A straightforward find. Thanks for the cache.
Nive walk around here. Quick find. Left Havelock North at 5am this morning picking up jordiporsche on the way. An overnight stay in welly to grab as many caches as we can including all the kiwi geo art puzzle's. Log signed as b&p.Tftc XboomstickX. Find # 3174
Not sure what's going on here. Found a characteristic cache conatainer in a characteristic hiding place at the correct coords but only a near blank strip of paper with a solitary sig on it. There should at least be a cache ID on it otherwise I may have just signed a piece of rubbish!
Found this time after a DNF some time ago.
A procession of dogs and owners so had to do a bit of photography on my phone to look convincing to the owners.
The last few words are a little conservative, as is the terrain rating and I didn't look far enough last time.
Happened to have enough paper to improvise a log in view of the original being totally unusable. I removed the old mushy log, hopefully nobody objects but I don't think anyone would want it!
Realised afterwards I had not put any identification of the cache at the top of the log, but in view of the muggle procession I didn't attempt to return after doing another cache.
TFTC.
Log book is wet, and a supplementary sheet added later is also wet so I signed 8/6 GB. TFTC
My last inlet cache find before I headed off to the event, and another smilie on the Kiwi. TFTC
A quick find during a very pleasant walk along this path. Logs of muggles around, stealth required. Tftc.
Owing to a technical hitch I overlooked this last time when doing some others on this part of the trail, but it would have been difficult or impossible anyway owing to ongoing muggle activity just opposite.
Muggle central again today, I had foolishly thought that being a weekday things would be quieter but being the start of the holidays they were actually even busier than at the weekend!
However the "fvta" had been knocked off its post and I suspect that what was left next to it was probably the remains of the "gerr" and the cache may have gone in the process. Probably could be moved a few metres further up near another "gerr."

Day #3 geocaching in NZ/ and first day of two spent in Wellington + surroundings, in good company (=vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = VVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time). Had a great time and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places.
The log was soaking so we added an extra piece of paper to serve as log.
Thank you!!!!

Thank you!!!!
Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68 and Katsukka and had great time. We used VVK Fin (that is vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.

Two days Wellington trip with Vipema and Katsukka. Many nice views and caches. We logged mostly only VVK-FIN to save space in the logbook.

Yay!!! I am sure I looked there last time! Finally found this and log was too mushy to sign, glad to tick off another kiwi
I had solved these back in June 2013 and had signed off 12 of them in November 2013. I am now on my way south and have stopped off in the Ngatitoa Domain for a couple of nights before catching the ferry. So it is time to sign off a few more with this and a 18 others on a 8.3km return walk.
A very wet log.
Cheers for the cache and series of puzzles.

This has a very wet log and needs to be replaced.
Also the hint needs to be editted as the cache is not 1m from the path but 4m.

We had solved this fun series of puzzles back in 2013 in preparation for a trip south in September of that year. As it happened we chose to spend longer in the Wairapapa and never made it over the hill to Wellington. The following September (2014) we made a fleeting visit to Wellington, while staying at Turangi. We concentrated on picking up some other puzzles and ran out of time to tackle the geotrail. This September we are back and have made the Kiwi Trail our first port of call.
We decided to drive the trail clock-wise starting on the northern shore just after daybreak. The driver was not looking forward to finding parking spots at each cache, but as it turned out this was less of an issue than feared - thanks to good preparation by the navigator, and to starting the trail early on a weekend day. In all we found 58 of the 61 caches and had a great day. Thanks to those who have taken on this series to keep it alive.
Parked and walked to the next few caches along this walkway, enjoying the scenery. The wording of the hint had us scratching our heads at first, but the cache was soon found.

Firstly, apologies for the generic logs for this series. We were on a long weekend with Pagenz and a hit list of 302 solved puzzles. This art series was a high priority and the puzzles had been solved some time ago. Conscious of safety first when geocaching meant some back tracking as we didn't know the area and wanted to ensure we were safe with our parking. Managed to find some safe places and then walk to a few at a time. Some required emailing the now current owners for confirmation but overall we did pretty well. Thank you to those cachers that adopted this series so it can be maintained. TFTC
I just loved this part of our Kiwi geo Quest... so very beautiful this morning. T4tc
Found at a large hint object (not small) and about 3x the distance stated from track. Log was too wet to write on so added a small piece of paper. tftc and an enjoyable walk.
Kiwi GeoTrail Rima Tekau Ono (Porirua) was transferred from XboomstickX to user CaligulaNZ
DNF second time looking for this and no luck again, hint object seems to be just a stump....
another quick find. first time this far on track. great walk. very busy too. TFTC series and caches
Over the Paekakariki Hill Road and a zoom around the Porirua Harbour collecting the Kiwi GeoTrail Caches and anything else that happened to get in the way! A lovely day in this part of the world (my Dunedin based scalp turned a little red!) and a really enjoyable caching experience. Thanks.
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 16: [red]Wellington[/red]
Yesterday we managed our first geo art: [navy]Zealandia Power Trail[/navy] [:X]
Today the next geo art was the mission of our day: [teal]KiwiGeotrail[/teal]
Solving all these riddles was not always that easy...also was it not always so easy for us to find a parking space
But in the end we could find in almost 8 hours all the caches of this cache series
I would like to thank 'XboomstickX' for this nice geocaching art ,

Find #2188. 5.45am start on the bike to complete the kiwi in a day. The journey went very smoothly and didn't take as long as expected. Waited for more muggles and dumb dogs before getting this one. SL TFTC
Out on the trail today to knock off some more of the bird.
First time on this walkway. Very pleasant although there were lots of muggles out and about so I had to time my search and finds with caution.

Had solved this one months ago but not able to grab before. In vicinity today so quick saunter down track and a wait for the dog walkers to wander on by. At game zone a quick grab, sign and replace. Another in series obtained. Past 2/3 now. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the cache.
