Nice quick find while staying out at Dwellingup....little bit of a scrabble to get to with big packs on. Bit smoky out here today with all the burning off.Thank you Tomthewizz for placing and maintaining River View for us and others to find and enjoy.
Another beautiful day in Dwellingup. Today is the second day for Taurus Six and I in this fabulous area as we make the most of the long weekend. Yesterday we focused north of Dwellingup , today we are focusing in the south around areas such as Plavins Pit, Etmilyn Siding , Nanga Brook and all around the Murray River area. There had been storms overnight so the bushland felt fresh , however just like yesterday it was very winding again with the trees really swaying and tree debris all around. It also feels quite humid with clouds brooding so we maybe in for more storms , there have certainly been a few sprinkles around. All in all though a great day for geocaching and exploring this fabulous area. This was our seventh cache find of the day around these fabulous back roads of Dwellingup . It is certainly overgrown here at the gz , once through that it is definitely a nice River View . A good hint lead to a nice quick find, log and replace. Thanks for the cache .
TFTC. Way to the cache probably overgrown. Still went in and found cache.
Having a break in Dwellingup for a few days taking the opportunity to start the new year with some caches in the area.

Thanks Tomthewizz for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 16:54:00. This was my Find 4 for today out of a Total number of 9 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5693.
Strolled down here from our Chuditch camp. The map looked like you could cross the creek here. A raging torrent suggested only white water rafting here.
Had to bush bash to this one through shoulder high shrubs. Only saw the concealment item when I literally had to step over it.
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

Had a crack at this guy our first night camping at chuditch on a walk back from a swim but no good. Gave up. Next day on the way back from the river, my mate spotted the location in better daylight. Slammed the brakes on the convoy, left the cars in the middle of the intersection, made our way down the hill, made the find. Blew a thong out on the way back up, who cares, we got it. TFTC
First time geocaching! Fun little adventure in a secret spot, we left a little treat behind! Thanks
Magnificent views after tackling the steep descent.
TFTC Tomthewizz this is find #11386 for us.

A nice quick find after a steep descent. Have enjoyed camping in the area. Thanks for the cache
After overnighting at the Ye Olde English Inne in Quindanning, I set out today to drive the Fawcett Track. With a touch of rain two nights ago after some hot weather, I thought the Mazdarati (CX5) could do it. It did but not without one tough part in the northern end.
It’s beautiful trail, a bit overgrown in part but I loved exploring new ground.
Back on nicer roads, I made a quick find.

Protected by the steep slope but a nice easy find once there. Good spot to access the river on this side of Lane Poole. TFTC
Glads its not summer for this find
Had me looking but found it after a bit of poking around

Out on an adventure with Barnzy12, taking the Captiva on one last potential outing before handing it back in. TFTH
Headed out today with Cravo10 to Lane Pool Reserve and the Nanga Brook area to complete some caches that we have wanted to get for a long period of time.
Great day out in the bush, finding several caches which hadn’t been done since 2018 was a great thrill.
Put the car through its paces and it came out in good shape.
Thanks to the COs for their caches we had a great day.

Spending the weekend at Nanga 4wdriving. Along the way we collected some caches we had yet to find. Cache is in good condition.
Out on a caching adventure with parkacruz. Sunshine & rain, wallabies, roos & echidnas....we had it all today oh & lots of fun too. Mrs parkacruz slithered down the steep bank to nab this one. TFTC Tomthewizz
We headed out with PP2 to collect some more smilies, we had a fun filled day playing in mud puddles and slippery tracks, we were lucky enough to encounter a great variety of our beautiful wildlife whilst managing to collect some less loved caches TFTC
Nice view of the river from here. This cache took bit of a search as there are so many possible hiding spots. Found it safe a secure in the end. Coordinates are good but the reception is bad. I’m finding these with only a coordinate and nothing else to give me a hint.
Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
This was found on a great trip to WA from Vic
Thanks Tomthewizz

I made my way down first, and could not spot the cache, megawat60 joined me and quickly made the find. TFTC!
Day 4 of our lane pool camping adventures and a windy cold day at that this is a beautiful spot tftc fought off a million mossies to find it
Found this one back on the long weekend, 5th March. Really good hide. Dropped off coastal bear.
Although its been on a 'must do list' for a very long time, this was our first visit to Lane Pool. The experience exceeded our expectations, we will be coming back sooner rather than later. No problem locating the container. Thanks Tomthewizz
We had a perfect day's caching with richlink in the Lane Pool Reserve today, so many magic spots. Thanks Tomthewizz for enticing us back to this stunning playground.
We were camping with friends on the weekend and found some caches but forgot to do the logs. TFTC!
Quick find here while enjoying the hot day at Island Pool. I was a bit worried after reading the recent DNFs, but we found it without any hassle. TFTH
GPS was moving around but eventually it narrowed area of search. Plenty of possible hides, some of them really suitable for caches, but no luck today.
Didn't find today. Phone was bouncing around too much for us to find so shall return with the GPS in the near future.
This was a tough bugger with the gps all over the place. Couldn't find it in the obvious area and most of the others had given up. Chris stuck around and just as we were admitting defeat, a glance in the obvious spots one last time yielded a very well hidden cache. Managed to get it out with my trex arms and sign away. TFTC! Lads trip 15
Back up in the hills today with Tango (poor Ralphy had to stay at home for this adventure). No problems finding this one before continuing on our way. Thanks for the smiley Tonthewizz.
PS Might have to put a brick on young Tom's head - looks like he has had a significant growth spurt in the photo attached to the CO's recent log entry.

Out with Mistraluna enjoying a Sunday drive. She is the better cacher by a long shot so of course it was she who got to utter the magic words "I found it"
Thanks Tomthewizz
Thanks Tomthewizz
I was in the area to do some mountain biking and had a bit of spare time do I stopped to see if I could find this one . This took a while to find as the GPS would not settle . However, the well hidden container was uncovered after a systematic search
Tomthewizz - jinta29 found your cache River View on 2014-10-26 at 8:34 am. This is find #2220 for us! TFTC and thanks for bringing us here.

After a string of DNF's we decided to head out today and check this one as it had seemed to have gone missing. Happy to report that cache is still there awaiting next finder. Replaced log with a smaller version which is easier to fit through the neck of the container without tearing the plastic bag. Cleaned out and re-stocked with swag. Happy hunting!

We've searched for this one on two different trips now and still can't find it! Maybe third time will be lucky
Had a day of caching with Mr OOH YEH and Mr Luna Maya today. We set out in OOH YEH's Jeep shortly after 6am, picked up Luna Maya and headed for the Dwellingup/Nanga area. The first find of the day was logged at 7:42am and the last at 5:35pm, so it was a solid day and a good time was had, with a couple of 4-wheel drive mini adventures, a BBQ at Lanes Pool Reserve, a couple of short hikes, a few laughs, 18 finds for me and only one DNF. Overall, a succesful day's caching except that we couldn't do all of the caches on the to-do list due to forestry activity in one particular area - though we did have a bit of an adventure attempting to get into that area.
We had been at Baden Powell earlier in the day, then headed further south, where we had a couple of debacles before deciding to head back to this area to do some more caches. Luna Maya and I walked here from CHUDITCH CAMP while OOH YEH went to grab the Jeep and bring it around closer to this cache. Luna Maya made the grab here.
Signed the log. Thanks for the hide Tomthewizz

I wanted to take the jeep out for the day and put it through its paces so I got a couple of mates together and hit them up with this idea lets go to dwellingup and do the Nanga series and grab what we can along the way .......Firnsy Mr luna maya and myself set of early and hit the trail .. .... quick find TFTC
On a 4WD road trip with Ooh Yeh and Firnsy. The original 4 x 4 plan was scrubbed due to logging in the local area. Tried to get to them but eventually the logging guy intervened and sent us on our way. So we left him to his forest decimating duties and tried some more accessible caches.
Nice cache, easy to find and log.
Thanks for the cache Tomthewizz

A lovely location. We could hear the sounds of the happy campers over the other side of the river.

After settling in to camp prior to the 4x4 Event, we set off to find a couple of local caches. We enjoyed this one TFTC
Another glorious spot, cache was well hidden, took a while to find, TNLN, thanksTomthewizz
Heading out today with Jasenjanine, Dangermouse and Ceekay2003, and geokids in tow.
Today was the first run for our new Geo4WD and we wanted to give it a workouit.
We continued our trek through Nanga, and as Jasenjanine had already found some, I was able to grab many myself.
Initially left the kids with Janine up top while I headed (or should I say slid) down.
GPS was jumping everywhere and not having any joy.
Janine decided to come down and help search (as it was the Jase part of the team who had previously found) and she found it in about 2 minutes. Im sure I looked THERE
Ah well, log signed and back to the car.
Footnote, there is a parking spot and much easier access a little further down the road. As opposed to where we decended from

[:(!] We went for a day trip to Cuditch Camp Site with our geodaughter and geoson-in-law and their geofamily (Owers Corner) who are camping there for a while, after setting up camp I went for a walk with one of my geogranddaughters to sus the swiming hole and on our return to camp we grabbed this cache on our back and to let the others know it was a short walk from their camp site, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
