TFTC- gps had us looking a bit far from cache. Mr J spotted it just before we left.
We were out for a walk and thought to have a look for it, we also expected it to be a bolt but that is ok
Passed this place many times before and had no idea there was one here, another cool hiding spot tftc ^~^
Daughter and dog taking me for a walk Finding a cache or two for motivation TFTC

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of our four day long weekend trip to Tauranga and yet another gorgeous day to get out and about.
We were mainly looking for solved puzzles today, but stopped to look for a few drive bys as the day was getting on. A quick find. TFTC.

The third of our day as we work on the Mystery at the Museum- a quick park and grab requiring some stealth as multiple muggles around.
Easy to work out where this hide would be hidden .
Many thanks nzkites for all the information about the history here.
I do not recall this event at all.
What a catastrophe..

Stayed the night in Otumoetai and now heading home to Gisborne. Collecting a few local caches. Lots of golfers but they weren’t paying any attention to non golfing matters. Cache all fine. TFTC
Was a bit worried about a long search after reading previous logs but pleasantly surprised when spotted it immediately in the first place I looked.

Yes. A very sneaky one indeed. I knew where it had to be but could not find it. I got a clue from an old post. Thanks for the hide. Enjoing the walk.

Off on a marathon walk with Jess88. Remember the day this happened. So much rain. Tftc
Happy Bogan and I decided to meet up for a caching day together walking from cache to cache it turned into a 17km walk. This was the first find I couldn't imagine what it would have been like to be one of the home owners. Tftc
Sneaky sneaky! I vaguely remember what happened here in 2005. It's nice to see that some good came out of it because the urban parks are gorgeous! Had to rethink where I would hide the cache before I found it and thanks to the drizzling rain there were no muggles around to hamper my hunting today. TFTC
Visiting Tauranga today for a work meeting and managed to arrange my day so that I could get here early and grab a few caches beforehand. Decided to get my daily step count up pre-meeting and picked a walking route around the 'once were houses' series - best to stay away from muddy parks when in work clothes, haha. Interesting to learn about the history of the area & a nice quick find at GZ when I got here. TFTC.
A pretty quick find on a Sunday morning. We've been making good time with caches today and this one helped. Thanks!
Interesting little corner. Nice easy find, log is a bit worn, could do with a replacement soon. Tftc
Rather interesting history. Another thing I wouldn't have learnt without geocaching! With the help of the satellite image, it was very clear where it was. TFTC, greetings from Auckland. Forgot to bring a pen on my travels, so happy to provide a picture of the cache if needed.
Nice quick find then we spent more time there as the kids were going though the drain under the road.
The cache is in good condition.
Signed log and thank you for the cache.

On an all night (and following day) caching bender with harisree and Gorby to clear out the Eyes puzzles currently released, along with the Kiwi art series and any other caches that we drift along past. Who knows where we will get to or when we will get home. but that's the fun of it, right... TFTC!!!
Out and about caching today with FMZ and harisree. We came down from Auckland leaving after FMZ’s midnight Pirate event, cached all morning so far with no sleep. It’s all about numbers today for each of us, all the caches today have been park n’ grabs including all the mystery caches we’ve done. It's dar again and we're STILL caching! Thanks for the cache.
FITW FMZ and Gorby
We started our caching adventure with the midnight pirate event in Auckland. Headed straight to Waikato. Cleared all published "The Eyes Have It!!" series, The Kiwi Art Trail, also picked up few trads here and there. We also managed to squeeze in two more pirate events. One in Hamilton at 6.30 AM and another one in Tauranga at 3.30 PM. We managed to reach back Auckland by 10 PM. I must say that it was a long day for us but fun too. Thank you for the placements.

Out finding some local caches with the grandchildren while visiting from up north. Hot day today. This is a nice walkway, interesting history. Final of the three. Thanks for the cache.
A quick few finds for kathykaches and I today - I checked cache location first with no luck and moved on to keep looking, 2 seconds later KK finds the cache in the exact place I first looked. Typical! Thanks for the cache
Just where I thought it would be. A nice start to a late afternoon cache hunt in this area. tftc.
2608 Quick grab and I parked by bike. Then it was down to the culvert to look at it while signing the log.
Drove over with my sister-in-law and did a little exploring while she was at a meeting. It's years since I was in these parts. My uncle used to live not far from here. TFTC
A quick find to celebrate the anniversary. I found "Once were houses #1" nearly a year ago, so speedily working towards getting through the whole series!
Nice easy find. Had a walk through the empty storm water drain under the road. TFTC.
