Today out and about on 293 of 366 days to get my daily cacher Dimond. Using my Garmin Etrex 22X, Garmin Montana 700 and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Stopped in to look for this one on our way back to Renmark after doing an adventure lab in Waikerie. Rubbish everywhere!! Some people need lessons in how to use a bin. TFTC
Found on this wintry, cold, gloomy day with LittleLeah79 and the kiddos. TNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS
We had Bananas that we had bought in Renmark, could we take them or not.Lets pull over and eat them. Bonus a cache we had not yet done. Thanks Crane2 for the cache
I hate flies.Good size cache.Had nothing to swap but the hubby, he wouldn't fit, so left him in the car to nap. Easy find, just wary of sticking my hands in dark places.Bright flashlight even in the sunny daytime, careful stepped, watching for fellow slithering friends. Positioned Cache not so deep in the hole. Did I mention, I hate flies? TFTC
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again part of the BOLD 7 team doing the mad assault on as many caches as we can. We tested out the MG yesterday and dirtied her up, she handled it well. Today it is to finish off the mayhem of the On your bike series and the few in the area as we pass. It may be a late night back as the plan is to also grab a cache or two on the way to Remark before heading back home. There is so much to do and in such close proximity, I am going to have to come back again. Just need to make sure we stop for food and fuel, must have happy campers for the travels. Am loving the area and the countryside, will have to come back at a different time and experience this state. Along the way we grabbed a few oldies, caches yes and a few that were just there for the fun, oh and the occasional multi, lol. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining them. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements.
BOLD7 spent the day galivanting around collecting many a cache and having a blast! Cheers to all the COs for fab caches.
Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.
It was good to put some $Qld into the local community. Expectantly the alcohol dispensaries got their share and if the feed troughs remained opened, there would have been more expended on food. Admittedly that was solely the fault of the BOLD07's invasion team, coming in late to Waikerie when all good citizens eat on time and get to bed early. Last night we did neither. This is an 'on the way' home to our BOLD07 accommodation. Thanks crane2 for the stop and revive prompt!
GC49ZJA Layby #4A group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event.Today was day 2 of hitting the bike series and heading east. To save space in the logs signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation.Grabbed this on the way back home. Beautiful sunset TFTC crane2
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
Ocw the Bebes as we travel to the Barossa. A quick stop and find for this one. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin Towing the caravan with geodog Peppa and geocat Levin in the car.A quick stop off to tick of another LGA for me. Perfect can parking here !Good to see everything is dry even though lid is missing.Tftc

Our Maiden Voyage in the "Big Old Rollin Turd". What an Adventure we had along the way. Here's hoping all our future trips aren't quite as exciting and more Restful and Relaxing. Found the Cache then on our way.
Quick easy find whilst caching in the area. Enjoying time at the National Rally Barmera. SL TFTC
Great to see the SA road crews doing some upgrades, but unfortunately that meant that this location is inaccessible to us today. We'll be back another time.

While travelling through the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.

Quick find with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband. Had to use the torch on my phone to make sure it was down there. Then had to plunge my arm into the unknown with muggle husband laughing at me going OMG OMG OMG. TFTC SL. Took a penny and left a bouncy ball. I’m a sucker for a penny.
Quick park and grab with tassie expat while exploring around this region. Thanks for placing it.
A quick find with frmen1. Thankfully, the place was empty. Grabbed the TB proxy card and will keep on moving it. TFTC

Next finders, please have a look at the TBs in this cache. The Sams campfire owner just messaged their appreciation for the photos and travels I gave their TB so Im hoping someone can continue its journey...
On the way home from Riverland. Used my “long tongs”. Every geocacher/cito person should have a set. Dropped two TBs to add to the other. Hopefully with borders opening tomorrow they can travel on. Cheers and thanks crane2
I hate hides which require sticking hands down dark holes. Glad I could find a stick to be the advance party! TFTC
Geocaching makes me stick my hands in places I wouldn’t have dreamed of in the past. This hide requires that reach-of-faith. How lucky are you feeling?

Caching has fallen by the wayside with everything that has been going on, work, lockdowns, blah, blah...so we needed to get away for a bit of R&R after lockdown so headed to Loch Luna for the weekend to refresh and cache! Today we packed up and headed home clearing out a few caches on the way. A quick find here, Dropped a TB. TFTC

22,316. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. After camping over night at Curlwaa we crossed the NSW/VIC border early and then sat through a 2 1/2 hour wait at the SA border ! Finally through, we continued along picking up the odd cache. A nice easy Traditional to do while having a leg stretch. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, laughed at seeing the previous finders were our good friends from back home, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks crane2 !!

Fitzy_1965 and I are on our way to Adelaide with two of the geo-kids in tow.
Camped at Curlwaa last night and headed over the border early this morning.
Got through the Victorian border ok and same with the SA border or so we thought until we hit the 2 1/2hr traffic jam at the Quarantine Station. Felt sorry for the two police officers (one for each lane). They really need more help!
Time to stretch the legs a bit. Quick find here today.

Got to love caching trips! On the way to South Australia with a few friends to pick up some nice caches. Tankengine and I had to cut the trip short and head directly to Adelaide for a family emergency so we bid our friends goodbye and only picked up a couple of caches along the road to give us regular breaks. All things considered we had a great third day of the trip. So many interesting places and some great caching too.
This cache: Another quick park and grab collected along the way. Tftc crane2!!!

As I am getting older and running out of time, I have decided I will take off on my own to cache in different areas of our vast country as my NGW (Non Geocaching Wife) has no interest in caching.
I have been in Loxton for five days of full on caching with suscoe, au.fait and Phetlern but suscoe and Phetlern have hit the road for home so that leaves only au.fait & the ageing Bushfire to head out to do the wandering heroes Fishy Tales and a few other caches.
I am afraid that for the next few days my logs are going to be a lot of cutting and pasting but that does not take away the effort that the owners have put in to provide these caches for us to find so please accept my thanks. With close to 200 caches placed I know how much work is involved with not only placing them but the ongoing maintenance.
Very cold morning but we kept plodding on cache after cache until the day warmed up.
Thanks, crane2 for placing this cache.

And another quick drive by Both Phetlern and Suscoe headed for home early this morning so Bushfire and I headed off to see if we could land a very big fish. We were very successful at this, much more so than catching those wet and slippery ones. We were so successful that we also had time to find many more caches around the district too. Another great day with the ever helpful Bushfire even if I did nearly freeze early in a bitingly cold wind I have much to thank him for as he provided the vehicle, did all the driving, provided fruit cake, and a big warm jacket which saved my life, to say nothing of his good company TFTC crane2
The cache hunt today with ilook4geo had a few different aspects. We selected a few along the road to get us going in the right direction, then we followed a couple of trails that were of particular interest. Finally we started the first few of another series which we will need to finish later on. All logs had two lots of initials recorded on them, each cache was put back as it had been found and we continued with the hunt. This was one of the caches we found. Thanks go to crane2 for placing this cache.
Out for a caching adventure with goingplaces2. The day included puzzle caches as well as traditionals. Each was an easy find, all logs were signed and replaced. It was a productive day, gaining lots of smileys. Found this one. TFTC.

Out for a day of driving and exploring in the Riverland with nettieknows, collected a few caches along the way. Quick stop and Easy find TFTC
I'm staying in Barmera for a couple of weeks and today I decided to go for a drive to Waikerie and find the caches along the way and those in Waikerie that I haven't found. [^] It was freezing cold and very windy, but that didn't stop me. It ended up being a successful day finding 21 caches with only 1 DNF that I'm pretty sure is missing.
Another quick find here.
Thanks for the cache crane2.

#3319 I had a rest here and found this cache. Visiting Adelaide for 5 days from Canberra on this very hot summers day. Found a total of 76 caches. TFTC crane2.
Stopped for a stretch to find this one on the way to Gawler, SA from Maryborough QLD...tftc..
This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

Ronso was a little hesitant in retrieving the cache from its hiding location.... red checked there was nothing hissing, and quickly pulled the cache out. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC!
The three of us were on our way to do some kayaking after spending some time in Berri. Mini Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache crane2.

Had a quick look for this one last year on the way back from my previous trip home to Wentworth but too many muggles then for a decent look. Only CacheClosed1847 around this time and he's no muggle. The location is straightforward, retrieval not quite so much. A torch or tongs could be handy. TFTC #403.
Nice quick find with CachingTheJoint on the way back from NSW. Was worried about retrieving it as it is a fair way down but we soon had cache in hand. TFTC, #433
