Logs
Thanks to those who found this one. Like the old Scout Hall, this one is now gone and consigned to memory.
As I approached I was pretty sure what I was looking for. Alas it wasn't to be as there was no sign of the cache today.
TFTC,
Today is all about numbers. I am trying to achieve 3 per day for 2015.
This has thrown a spanner in the works.

Well ... not really a Did Not Find. More a Did-not-even-try-to-find log.
Having parked my car right alongside, I could tell from the GPS offset and bearing where the cache was.
The problem was not the plovers made famous by previous logs. The neighbours to the left were working on their car in full view of the cache. And there must be some function on at the town-house to the right as there was a constant stream of septagenerial-muggles strolling by.
Given the heavy rain and me being the solitary male adult (spelled "suspicious looking" to muggles), decided to leave this cache for another day.
Will bring 'alibi' next time.

Backed out of this cache find quite quickly after being bailed up by the plovers. Will be back.
I couldn't stop laughing when Mrs H got divebombed by a grumpy plover! TFTC!

1st cache of the day, made more interesting by a very unhappy pair of nesting plovers.

This is why I love geocaching. Discovering new history about my region. My halls are still in existence. TFTC.
TFTC As previous finder said, the log is still wet and was unable to write on it. Needs new log.
Not really a DNF as we pulled up and a nearby muggle wouldn't stop glaring at us so decided to leave it for another day...
Hallo, I am from Austria and traveling with a Hippie Camper 6 weeks through your nice Country.
I have limited internet Access so I will say if something special after my
THANKS A LOT.

Super easy but very very exposed. Seemed to take forever to get log back into container. Something ironic about the location.. TFTC!
A great day to be out on a bit of a treasure hunt. Parked right near GZ and walked to the sign. Felt a bit exposed, but none the less an easy find. TFTC
Had to " make a few phone calls" until the muggle sitting on his wall went off shopping with the wife. TFTC
Having dropped off Mini-Roo at Southern Stars Dance Practice, I had a whole lot of time to kill. What better way than to go caching! The drain here was running a banker, the rain was coming down that hard. At least stealth wasn't an issue. Thanks Hoojar, Chip and Ding for the cache.

Last of 41 searches today, an easy find in the dark. Thanks for all your hides I found today, RS.
After Boxing Day's plover episode it was nice to get to GZ today. An easy find.

Found it straight away, I wouldn't say that it's a 2.5 Difficulty we didn't use a GPS we just looked at the hint. TFTC!
A short walk from the present Scout Headquarters and we got to this cache. We were a little concerned as we thought we were walking over somebody's private grass.
Parked at the existing HQ and walked to this one. After walking around we managed to find the right way to approach.
TFTC - easy to find

I was a bit uncertain about looking for this when I saw the sign as I drove past. Came back and found it on the way out.
Tftc. Thought I was home free as could see the plovers near by and the young ones seemed big enough to not be an issue. Signed log and turned to leave, then I got dive bombed! Didn't think they swoop in summer. I was wrong!
Second go at this one. Birds were way too aggressive for my liking last time so this time sent the husband in hehe. TFTC!
TFTC quick find.

We came to this cache previously but they were whipper snippering close to GZ. So we decided to head of to another cache. On our return they were still air blowing but futher away just above. We decided it was still a good time to make our find. Geo-son soon had the cache in his hands as I looked in an alternative spot. TFTC. Found with oztrack.
With some time to spare this afternoon I headed out to one of the further caches from home for me. Arriving at GZ the location was pretty easy but with the plover birds let everyone know that we were here.
The mini rat did the duties while I watched on.
Thanks

Did a bit of walking around the northern suburbs today for exercise and managed to drop off all of the dozen or more TBs that I had brought back from various places in Europe last week. TFTC
I recall the scout hall up this way but I seemed to think it was in another street. A plover did a couple of high dives whilst at this one but it didn't take long and back to the car. TFTC!
I had a solved puzzle to find today out this way so we made a slight detour and found another in the scout series. Wow it would be nice to own the land nearby, pitty it's private property. No attack from above today, maybe they just got fed up with cachers. . SL TFTC
Found during a quick drive by as we made our way up the coast. I had no idea that the Scouts had so many locations in area. SL..TFTC
well..they are some crazy birds haha went with dslme and rowanking97 was goin good till
Nice quick find on a bike ride on a top spring afternoon. Didn't see the dive bombing plovers today. TFTC
Wow! Despite the previous logs I was not expecting to find these aggressive birds! Cache itself was not as hard as expected, which was disappointing. Thanks for the fun!
Well so much for the blending in and stealth! If you think magpies are agressive have a try at this one!! These yellow eyes coming straight at me, male and female. Had to run, grab the cache and hide under a tree, putting it back was no different.

Two and a half stars for the Plover Danger I guess. TheRomulans made the quick grab, I watched the Plovers. TFTC.
Think some angry plover birds took the sign too literally and kept diving bombing mizmutt and myself. Luckily cache spotted quite quickly but not enough shelter to make the quickest log signing and dash back to the car any less scary and dangerous!
No trouble, but did get dive bombed by the plovers, but no eggs, just a couple of tiny little plovers running around and hiding. TFTC
Very open and exposed at this spot but no-one was about, I think they were all watching the footy.
One note: There are a pair of plovers nesting in this area but a fair way off so don't be too taken aback when you get dive bombed over the next few weeks.
The cache will not affect the nest as it is a long way away but the birds will try and see you off anyway.
They get very close particularly when you are signing the log with your back turned.
