TFTC. A bit of traffic in the area for a no race day. Plan your visit to avoid muggles.
Day 15 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. Will my geomobile repairs be completed today? Nope! Heading home in a few days via a rental car.About to leave Ipswich City LGA, but lets do a light speedy power trail of finds. TFTC fireboo40
Over from NZ doing as much caching as other commitments allow. Today, I was heading out west to redeem a Supercars drive experience voucher received for my last birthday. Absolutely brilliant weather for late winter, so hopefully should be a good experience.Stopped off on the way to pick up a few caches that we would be driving past. Nice quick find here too. Unfortunately, looks like someone as discarded some cart tyres on the side of the road .. TFTC
Im not a motor sport fan but there is something hypnotic about the smell of fuel and burnt rubber. There was no one racing close by but we could hear and smell everything.Normally the smells I most like are that of an espresso being brewed or when you first stick your nose into a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. These probably already exclude me from joining the race community.Once again I quickly ducked out while Mrs Woodyrothwell stayed in the car. Unlike our last find at least one car passed us. tftc
Quick easy find. Noted the log book/s were saturated, bags torn. Cache was out in the open. Maintenance completed. - container wiped out, log replaced. Please consider maybe an upgrade of this container to allow it to be more waterproof.I was lucky enough today to watch people practicing on their Go Karts today!!
No luck at GZ, even after finding a perfect candidate (based on the hint). After reading previous logs, we even looked further afield but crickets!CO - can you check that its still around? Ill be going back down the Mountain in 4 weeks so maybe I can find it then??
Out and about caching today to burn off some Christmas excesses. Decided to target the Ebenezer area today.Took a little longer than it really should have, but find it I did.TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , Leap Frog Race - Motorbike and Scarface visited.Find # 1837.
Found it between a rock and a hard place. Relocated it back to where it was showing on the map as it had wandered a bit away from it
Definitely had to move away from app ground zero for this one but not too far tftc
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
After a late night last night, today was a little more laid back exploring some targeted caches around Brisbane and beyond.
It was all happening here. Cars everywhere, karts and racing everywhere. Fortunately everyone was too busy watching the action to notice me out here searching for a cache.
I had to widen my circle a little to be able to find this one.
Thanks fireboo40 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

It was good to finally drive these Ipswich Race Car Alley geocaches, as I've eyed them off every time I've travelled south for a hike or trip. I parked nearby to GZ and jumped out, and after making a short search, I found the cache reasonably quickly, despite not knowing what the hint meant (not even in hindsight). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks an old hag for the cache placement, and fireboo40 for its ongoing maintenance.

Today, the plan was an early start to hike Mount Mitchell in an attempt to beat the heat. I joined [Beardman75](https://coord.info/PRG2ADN), [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ), and [karicka](https://coord.info/PRV3G5) targeting a newly published geocache [Mitchell Mountain West Peak](https://coord.info/GCA48ET), and it was adventurous visiting the west peak for the first time.
Following the hike, I slowly made my way home and detoured past a few geocaches that I hadn't had the chance to find, which included Cunningham's Camp, the *Mount Walker Power Trail* (MWPT) series, and those adjacent to Ipswich Motorsport Precinct. Ultimately, the heat got all too much to be stop-starting, so I retreated home to the air-conditioning and swimming pool.

TFTC our celebrating birthdays with friends and stopped while we were stuck in traffic.
While over here from NZ visiting family thought I would go for a little nosey about the areas my children live.
While my grandbabies were at school my muggle daughter and I went for a drive to her favourite concert place.
This one proved a little elusive but thankfully my daughter is catching on to the little things to look for. Cache was soon signed and replaced.

It was a Girls’ caching antics day today, and although we didn’t have a KBreeAHH with us, SaintsMadHouse, Cosmonaut97 and I did have Signal the Frog standing in for her, and fully intended on a day of fun and frivolities.
Our timing today meant we were here while there was racing going on over road. A quick find and replace before grabbing a sneaky through the fence photo or two and heading on.
Logbook signed as GCA today to save space and time.
Thanks for the cache fireboo40.

Found with 1minniemoo and saintsmadhouse today on an outing to turn these greenies into smilies. After discussing this adventure for the last month or so, we had decided that today was going to be the day....and that was about as much planning as had been completed prior to meeting up in a semi central location. From there, we had a more solid plan at least until lunch. It was a great day and I got home roughly 13 hours after I left :> We have plans for our next adventure but no dates - we'll get there :>
Time for a little drive out of town to pick up a few caches on a quiet Sunday morning
Quick find.
Quick find.
Tftc an old hag, found the log and old ziplock.
Placed a new log sheet and ziplock and container.
Not sure about the hint here?,,

Because this was in a no-standing zone, I sent MrTT9 out to grab it quickly while I sat there looking non-suspicious. Luckily he found it quickly. I brought him out to watch drag racing for the first time. Needless to say he loved that more than caching, but he tolerated my need for a quick 7 before we went in.
I disturbed the ants before realising that it was right behind me. Thanks for the cache
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find thanks for the cache
Arriving at GZ we spotted a likely object which fitted the hint. Mrs Herbz hopped out and soon had the nice little container in hand and the log signed. It was somewhat caked in mud, not surprising considering where it is hidden. All good inside log though... nice and dry. TFTC.
On the way to Toowoomba from brisbane my geo husband and I decided to devert and pick up a few smileys. At gz I used the hint and soon saw the apt cache. Thankyou for all the fun
TFTC. We parked up at Rosewood for the night after the short run from Lawnton. After lunch we went out for an explore around the area. Using caching as our guide. A couple of cemeteries and the Ipswich racing precinct made for an enjoyable couple of hours.
Must say that this is an impressive precinct. Not a lot of activity in the area apart from the dirt Karts. All finds made quickly. Some of the log brooks can use some TLC.

Found with v8minnie. Mind the creepy crawlers. And it's not the one on the fence. TFTC
Found it!!
This one was a bit tricky because there seemed to be 2 logs. One at GZ and another on the fence. Maybe the fence one is the old log.
Found with COM 084 and left some swag.
