Have been keeping an eye on this one waiting to see when it was operational again. Was very pleased to see that a fellow cacher had discovered it so we set out tonight to grab it however it is gone again. Someone does not like caching. The CO main need to make a decision about this one.
Had quite a lot of trouble here today. Looked for maybe 20 mins but just could not find it in the end.
Looked for quite some time for this one without luck. Was certainly in the right location, but will keep an eye out for this one.
Having attended the morning event I headed out with Mrs Crackers, Alansee and Muzza to find some nearby caches and the PLT series was on the list.
Thanks Cathylmorgan for the hides,
Regards The Coffee's.

Catching up with some late logs.
After the 7 souvenirs of August event Mrs Crackers teamed up with Mrs Coffee, alansee and Muzza for a very enjoyable afternoon's caching.
As we pulled up in at the end of the street we parked next to our first house that we bought. We were told back in 1977 that the freeway would be through in 20 years time, it took a bit longer than that but it is here now.
A quick find and sign and we were off for a walk again to look for the next one.
Thanks once more for the cache.

Found with Team Crackers and The Coffees on a lovely day. Cache found easily and it should last if replaced properly.
Cache had been destroyed. It has now been replaced. Fingers crossed it lasts. Good to go again. If it can be placed back straight, it will be more realistic and will last longer. Thanks
Sorry, but third attempt was not lucky. Tried for this a couple of months back but couldn't find it without getting a little too obvious, so on reading past logs we decided to come back at night; still no satisfaction. So again today on a cold winter day when the only Muggles were flying past in their cars we decided to give it one last try and then log a DNF. Much to my disappointment this is a "Did Not Find", but I will continue to watch to see when I should go back and try again.
Gave up around 5:08pm
Looked everywhere around GZ, stood back and observed the area and still nothing. Checked out the recent logs for ideas on where/what it could be but even with them I still didn't manage to be able to find it.
Not sure if the cache is still there

This one goes on the 'next time list', spent more time than I had on this one..I hate time restraints
2014-01-18 23:06 Out on a night mission to find some Things to Come and PLT caches. Dusted off the old treadlie and started at the Eramosa end. Made it out near Cranbourne Rd before calling it a night. Another quick find. TFTC.
Sometimes the most obvious caches are the hardest to find. After adjusting my view I quickly found the cache.
Found it! Awesome Cache!
Starting to think I may be too short for this. Used GeoDog as a decoy while I wrote in the log.
Thanks for the Cache!

A quick stop for a cache on the way home from a busy weekend down on the Peninsula, was nice to find this one quickly - likely searching for it in the dark with a torch helped!
Found @ 1:59am, find # 2621.
Found while out on the hunt for caches.
Main log to follow at a later time.
Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for placing this this cache

Quick find - and I'd just got back on the bike to go for the next cache, when I received a call from muzza who'd seen my name in a log nearby. We met up for a coffee (and some cake). TFTC
Our 40th find for the day. Looking forward to doing the rest of the rest of this series. SL TFTC
Out for some more caches after work but today is different as I just started holidays, yippee! Off to Thailand caching tomorrow.
Off for a walk with this as the starting point, quick grab.

Venturing out, into a grey suburban morning, dressed in our glad rags, we had to write our name in a few logs before committing our day to a family gathering. It is great to reflect on the fun we had riding on the Patterson Lakes end of the PLT, so inspired by a couple of finds today, we will return to ride on this section as soon as we can.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Julz76.

Had half decided where it might be hidden, bit a search of the structure at gz revealed noting. I sat and reflected for a moment until the geo-lightbulb went on and the location was revealed. I like your work.

It looked like the best day of the week, so we got the deadly treadlies out, and headed down to the Peninsula Link Trail. Bettyboo3747 and I joined many other bike riders (and walkers) using this trail today.
Seeing there was supposed to be a northerly wind we started on the southern end so we would have a tail wind coming home. Of course the wind turned as we were coming back!
We parked near here and this was the first of the day in this series. The cache was easy to pick as it had been put back on cock-eyed.
A nicely constructed container though.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3742. Robmc and I headed down this way to make the most of the winter sunshine and lovely day to do some of the PLT. We parked at this end so we could head north and return with a tail wind (hopefully).
This was our first find for the day as we collected these three before turning northwards. Yep, it was definitely crooked which is what made it so obvious. Nice little hide though. TFTC

Racing between caches on my bike with kitkat and our dads. Dad found this one!
Out for a short bike ride along this path with trixie&toby and two muggle friends, we started at the Moorooduc railway end and made our way to here before turning back - and started grabbing the caches on the way back. This one was first as it was where we turned around so I parked the bike and started looking. As I was about to check something, DB the muggle said "how about that?" and it was the cache - so one for the muggle! Thanks to Julz76 for this one, a nice idea for a cache.
On our way back to the city from finding Devil's Bend, one of only two Victorian caches still going since being planted in 2000, we thought this one would be a quick drive by. What a cracker it is! It is all in the name. A favourite from us. Thanks for the hide.

Found while on a caching adventure with BorisB&Natasha. The mission today was to get closer to putting a smiley on every cache on the peninsula.
After recently completing the rest of the PLT we just had to come back for the newly added ones.
Nice hide so well hidden and so in your face at the same time, quick find.
Thanks for the series.

Out for another fun day of caching with Pea bear and thought it was about time we did these ones. The cleverly constructed & very bold hide was quickly spotted. Thanks Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the additions to this great series.

Out and about at large with my caching buddy Slink1. This was a planned caching day out (if not a little damp at times) which proved to be a full day of caching enjoyment for the both of us. Many challenging hides along the way and thanks to the cache owners for their efforts. TNLN SL TFTC.

Quickly spotted, but workmen right at GZ so went on to next two caches, then returned to sign log later. Thanks Julz76
Thanks Julz - hopefully they will officially open the rest of the track to the railway in the near future.
ABL973 found this while out caching with Square_Pegs. I brought a few travel bugs with me which will visit this cache. The weather has been much better than I expected, although it has been quite cool. Thanks to for placing this cache.
This was an excellent hide and a favourite for sure. I have never seen this construction of a cache before, it was very imaginitive. Thanks for the cache.
It has been some weeks since I had cached and today being a beautiful Autumn day we decided to head out and grab the newly published Caches - being the PLT series. With a new addition to the Geo-scene my boy Vinnie joined us on his "first ever cache".
With Vinnie close by and Mum making the find we officially initiated Vinnie to the Ge-caching world.
THE CACHE...
Another simple and well placed hide - Bold but yet very official in placement.
Once again Many thx the to the CO's for the time and effort in placing this Awesome series.

Found while on a Monday night Demolition Crew (TDC) run with the boys, as per usual. Another great night with laughs, cache finds and just a good time in general.

TFTC, quick find tonight.
I was out and about with some good caching buddies collecting a few in this area tonight. A quick find in the obvious spot. Thanks.
I headed to Torquay today with my two boys for a bit of a day trip, to grab some caches and to enjoy the nice day. Once we'd had breakfast we readied ourselves, packed the car and hit the road. The trip around the bay was pretty good and admittedly this was the first time I had been to Torquay. By the time we arrived it was close to lunch time so we found a fish and chip shop, ordered up then headed to the beach to enjoy our lunch. Not much of a swell today but there were still plenty of people along the foreshore and still a couple of surfers waiting for that wave to catch. We had a great time and will have to come back again some day.
As we made our way back home we stopped to find the newer PLT caches. I had the boys bikes in the car so with helmets on they shot ahead to the point where I had to yell out for them to stop and look for the cache 'over there'. We had a great time, especially the boys, and the cache was found after a short search. Thanks.

What better then to do a power trail on a long weekend! Today's weather looked ideal but there was a mention of windy conditions in the afternoon which was a killer on the ride back to the car. Joining me today was my caching wingman and mate Ahomburg who was also keen for some numbers too. We started at the north end of the trail, parking close to PLT - Wee One but failed to final the northerest one and well after 20mintues decided to head south see if our luck would improve. Four hours later we had completed all the caches even the 3 newer placed ones just past Frankston Flinders road. Looks like this trail will expand even further south as other sections are open up. It was a great morning and only took about 1 hour to get back to the card pushing hard against the 40km/h head wind.[xx(] Great hides of different styles seen today which was great too. Many Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the huge effort in establishing this epic series. Awesome!
Wow an impressive bold hide, clever.[^]

After a quick decision between myself and my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave, it was decided we would throw the bikes on the back of the car and head for the newly created Peninsula Link Trail as well as a number of other caches in the area including another cache crossed off our D / T matrix, AKA "Project81". Dave picked me up at 7AM and we were on the trail by just after 8AM.
This one was a very bold hide which we discovered almost straight away. We did have to wait for a couple of muggles to pass by before we could replace it.
Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the cache.
