When we pulled up there was a caretaker lady from the art society group just starting to leave in her car. Mr Riddell got talking to her, like you do, and she was intrigued and interested in what we were doing so Mr Riddell takes her geocaching, to find out how it happens. Unfortunately at GZ the log sheet was there but ripped to bits. Some kind person, well before us has added an A4 sheet as an ongoing log sheet. The lady understood that this is not usual practice and enjoyed her first geocache. She knows where it is and promised to keep it to herself. She is happy with its placement and what we do.So if you see the caretaker lady dont be shy to say hi and that you are geocaching.TFTC and the friends we make along the way.
On holidays with the geofamily so a drive was in order. Quick find here. A tiny town with great history from its buildings. Thanks for the fun and adventure

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 9. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Distance wise today was short, but we spent the day in South NSW between Deniliquin and Finley via Moama.
These BRT caches were all to interesting locations of history or fascinating artwork.
Thanks for the cache gregandjudi

Headed out on a 10-day trip to outback NSW with fitzy_1965 and albida33.
Day 9 saw us heading from Deniliquin to Finley via some more back roads. In logs, we signed as MK, F65 & A33.
Went back for more on this series today but again played havoc with my hayfever! Not sure what it was but it really seemed to just be this area. Quick find here today.

Had some work up this way and so dropped into Womboota to look at the caches - wasn't certain if I would have time for all three but in the end I did. Another quick find here - all good with container. A favourite for bringing m into the town and showing me the interesting buildings (always just driven past) - TFTC

TFTH - looks like an old log was torn up in the cache container, but new log is in good condition.
cheers. some one has ripped the log book apart . other than that good condition.
The last of the 3 caches in town, nothing hard about this one, time to start heading eastwards now...

An event in Echuca for lunch, some geocaching in the afternoon! It was time to head over the border and do a 'bit of a loop'. I was trying to get all of the BRT series, but I ran out of time and had to cut it short. Thanks for the cache, gregandjudi.

A quick find as we check out Womboota, blink and you'll miss it we got told! But we enjoyed checking it out. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here, a well maintained building.
Womboota was to be our turn around point after driving Perricoota Road hoping to find a bag full of caches. I knew this wasn't to be a drive by, but the coordinates were so good it was a very quick find. Unfortunately someone else had found the cache and ripped up the log and cards in the cache. They had kindly put it all back inside. I grabbed a new log, signed it and replaced all back where I had found it. TFTC TNLN SL
We really enjoyed doing the detour on the way to Hay because we came to this lovely town. Couldn't believe a town this size had an Arts Centre. Thanks for bringing us out here to find this cache.
Found after a it if a search through the grass
So many churches for a small town thanks L S

Just when we were getting used to one hiding MO, it was changed on us! An easy find nontheless.

This was day 19 of our trip out of Sydney to the southern states being Victoria and Tasmania.
The cache itself was quickly and easily found and after the log had been signed and the cache replaced as found, we were soon back in the air conditioned geo vehicle and out of the extreme heat. We enjoy driving the back roads much better than the highways. There are so many small towns to discover and history to absorb. Thank you for bringing us here. TFTC.

TFTC hunting smiles on a lovely hot summers day. Thanks without these caches we would never have known about womboota
The grass needs mowing [:o]
Before summer hopefully, so that this 'Bushfire Safe Place' is not knee deep in dry grass
I helped flatten some of the grass by taking a stroll around the Skool of Arts and finding this cache

On a three day tour in Nth Vic and Riverina for work, I took the opportunity to grab a few caches to stretch my legs or late in the day finds in an area I am familiar with pre caching.
Having half an hour up my sleeve between appointments, I headed south to grab the three caches in Womboota. This took longer than it should of, finally spotted the cache.
Thanks for the cache!!!

In Echuca for our second Family Reunion based around the Winter Blues Festival weekend and this year our Geocaching Sister and Brother-in-Law baby&Mrs gopher so naturally some time was found for caching. Bazz had a list of caches on the ‘hit list’ and this was one of them.
Loved the informative signs placed for this series.

Our stay along the river this time was only a short one, so I hadn't had much of a chance to come out and play. This morning, I left the rest of the family snoring in their beds and drove west along the northern side of the river to see how many smileys I could manage before we had to pack our bags.
Not spotting this on the first check had me worried for a few minutes, but being a tad more thorough paid dividends.

[:(!] After visiting my geoson and his family for a couple of days at Barham we are on our way back home, on the way picking up a few caches along the way and this was one of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in form there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in quickly in hand.

Found exploring the Backroads trail, glad people are maintaining places like this.
No art lessons today, though I had a little wren come and sit on my car window ledge as we were sitting in there planning our next cache attack, but it didnt wait for me to get my phone camera function open in time to take its photo. Found with Robyn from The Morris. TFTC
What a well maintained building for "the people's self improvement." TFTC gregandjudi

A great drive, touching the Murray & then the farmlands.

Today was a day for knocking over a heap of caches NE and NW of home but leaving a couple for the next two days of the 31 Days of Caching.
A quick find although I was expecting it to be tucked into the back of the sign and persuaded the Wench to get out of the car and retrieve it. Needless to say she wasn't amused that I had the wrong location.
We headed the wrong direction from the last cache and had to back track after this one.
Thank you for the cache gregandjudi.
