Thought we’d come out for a drive to a place where we’ve never been before what a nice little community
Travelling towards Wangaratta and this was one of our stops. Thanks for placing we enjoyed finding your cache.
West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 9. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Distance wise today was short, but we spent the day in South NSW between Deniliquin and Finley via Moama.
It was nice to see an old building at a site like this for once.
Thanks for the cache gregandjudi

Had some work up this way and so dropped into Womboota to look at the caches - wasn't certain if I would have time for all three but in the end I did. This was a nice hide as well - didn't read the cache page until now and realise that the winery on the corner is the old school building (should have guessed by the name!). Quickly, found, signed and returned - and then on to my business at Bunnaloo! TFTC
Found and signed on our way home in Adelaide from a birthday function in Melbourne.
We spent a night in Echuca and then did part of this trail continuing on our way.
Thank you .

A great trio of caches at this tiny village, all quiet here, easy find thanks.

An event in Echuca for lunch, some geocaching in the afternoon! It was time to head over the border and do a 'bit of a loop'. I was trying to get all of the BRT series, but I ran out of time and had to cut it short. Thanks for the cache, gregandjudi.

Driving along Perricoota Road hoping to get a bag full of caches. This was to be our turn around point. Lovre that the school is still being used in some capacity. Pa likes this kind of cache - he had it in hand before I left the car! Signed log and returned it to its hidey hole. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. We would never have come here except for the cache.
Lovely little town, really enjoyed the stop to have a look around. Picked up a TB to move on. Will take him to Adelaide when we finish our caching holiday.
Found today by good luck as we had no network. Shame there is no a plaque giving the history it the school. Nice area. TFTC. LS
Found at 3:10:00 PM. After attending the events and finding a few caches in town it was time to head out for a short tour of the back roads.
A nice drive with caches placed at some interesting places.
Thanks gregandjudi

This was day 19 of our trip out of Sydney to the southern states being Victoria and Tasmania.
The cache itself was quickly and easily found and after the log had been signed and the cache replaced as found, we were soon back in the air conditioned geo vehicle and out of the extreme heat. We enjoy driving the back roads much better than the highways. There are so many small towns to discover and history to absorb. Thank you for bringing us here. TFTC.

The dirt roads around here are rather bumpy and dusty at the moment !!
So first stop on a quick tour of towne was here at skool
I could see the skool house from a distance and so had no problems searching for the cache un-noticed.

On a three day tour in Nth Vic and Riverina for work, I took the opportunity to grab a few caches to stretch my legs or late in the day finds in an area I am familiar with pre caching.
Pulled up next to GZ for the quick find. Dropped a TB off.

In Echuca for our second Family Reunion based around the Winter Blues Festival weekend and this year our Geocaching Sister and Brother-in-Law baby&Mrs gopher so naturally some time was found for caching. Bazz had a list of caches on the ‘hit list’ and this one brought back some early memories for him.
Loved the informative signs placed for this series.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

We had our full geocaching team together today as we are in Echuca for the Blues Festival for the weekend. baby can remember driving past here back a long time ago on a drive from home at Wakool to Echuca. Saw these caches on a search list so they had to be looked for over the weekend. SL Tnx gregandjudi

Our stay along the river this time was only a short one, so I hadn't had much of a chance to come out and play. This morning, I left the rest of the family snoring in their beds and drove west along the northern side of the river to see how many smileys I could manage before we had to pack our bags.
I took the scenic dirt road, and made a detour to the homestead on my way here. Well worth the time. Much as I would have loved to just continue heading further downriver, this was my turning point for today's foray, and I was expected back in Moama... after I picked up a few more smileys.
A classic hiding spot, and no witnesses but the many ants enjoying the sunny morning as much as I was.

[:(!] After visiting my geoson and his family for a couple of days at Barham we are on our way back home, on the way picking up a few caches along the way and this was one of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in form there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in quickly in hand.
I like it

Found, but was a bit freaked out as I went to retrieve the cache as there was also a birds wing in the location, took troll left pack of snap cards and a crocodile TFTC
The only schooling you'd be doing here is wine appreciation! Found with Robyn from The Morris. TFTC
Our last find here and it was nice to find a larger container. It is surprising that such a small area is able to maintain all this heritage so effectively.

Today was a day for knocking over a heap of caches NE and NW of home but leaving a couple for the next two days of the 31 Days of Caching.
The nearby resident was hanging out the washing as we passed and I could see that she was leaning over the fence to see what we were up to. She lost interest as we continued further along the road before returning to GZ for a simple find.
Thank you for the cache gregandjudi.
#2264th @ 1521hrs and 31st of 31 for the day.
