We were off to the USA and Canada for a few weeks of holiday, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling around, and visiting the many different places and caches we came across
We thought we would give this EarthCache a go next, and although we don't usually do to many, this one didn't seem to hard We had a walk around, and noted the different answers, and before too logn we had everything we needed A great spot here, and fantastic views too [^]

Found while walking mall with CO. Nice study in Granilte....we often take these ideals for granted/granite!
This is one of my favorite monuments. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. I remember my parents talking about the depression and the impact i had on their lives, this monument represents that struggle and triumph of the American spirit. TFTC
Enjoyed some relative solitude this morning walking around this lovely monument. Also offers a great view of the scaffolding that is decorating the Washington Monument. Sending answers to the CO as requested.
I've never been to this memorial before. It was much more impressive than I expected, and very moving. Thanks for placing a cache here.
11739 21:57:00 Spent the first part of the day grabbing some challenge caches and then the latter part wandering round DC again. Grabbed quite a lot of virtuals (there aren't many back home in England, so it's nice to be able to get some when you get the chance).
Visiting DC doing some sightseeing and geocaching. Email sent with requested information. A favorite, thanks.
Great visit on a fine day, our third day in Washington. Enjoyed the monument and examined the stone. Thanks for bringing us here.
A week of touring and caching with my GeoDad in Washington. This rocks! Thanks for the fun!
With the 31 Days of August promotion I have been more active during my lunch hour to get some much needed caching done. I have been to this memorial many times, but never for geocaching purposes. It is cool out today, but there is some humidity. The sky was overcast, and it looks like it could have rained any second. I am more of an arts guy, but lately I have been enjoying the area earthcaches. Thanks for the fun! Cheers!
Out exploring the mall monuments and memorials by bike on a beautiful day. Will send email with answers. TFTC. Chris
Found it with my dad Topher_LV while in DC for a vacation. He sent the answer. tftc
I am in the area from Savannah Georgia for work and of course I remembered my G P S'r so that I could feed this addition of Geo Caching. The coordinates for this cache were accurate and it did not take me too long to have the needed information or log in hand, depending on the type of cache. Thanks for putting this together and for bringing me to this area.
I spent a good part of the afternoon this first day making my way around the National Mall visiting all of these great monument and memorials and gathering smiles on the map!
Remember, it is all about the miles and the smiles ~TFTC

Enjoying a family trip to Washington DC. This was one of many of our Virtual/Earthcaches that we found around the mall. I really enjoyed this memorial. TFTC
This cache brought a whole new dimension to this memorial, which is one of my favorites.
Found on our cross country road trip from Bremerton, WA to Elkton, MD. TFTC
