In town so despite the wet and the rain we headed out to get a number in the solved pile. At least with the rain it keeps the muggles away. Some searching to make some of the finds. TFTC.
Given the rain we didn't go too much deeper this trip.

It certainly is a wildflower wonderland here at the moment. Fond memories of dad while finding the cache. Wish I'd brought a tumbled gemstone to leave in the cache...maybe next time. TFTC Team MVB.
Nice easy find. Credits to Riddel for replacing the cache, looks in good conditions but not sure how long it’ll last before the water will get into it. Pretty view
Having read the previous logs, Mr Riddell came prepared with a whole new cache…log and all!.
Mr Riddell has also built a bit of protection around the cache so rocks can not destroy this one with their weight. (Caches under rocks always come to a sad end!)

Found it. Many thanks for the walk and views to the cache. The cache needs maintenance. Container not keeping the elements of nature out so the log is composting into the dirt inside the broken cache.
Out for a walk in Albury today with the geopooch. Short walk in this spot to GZ. Container is broken and requires more paper. Unfortunately we didn't bring it to fix. TFTC
Grabbed this one while doing a couple others on nail can, didnt read the prev log otherwise i would have replaced log, used a old receipt for now to record find.
Found container in open without a log. Contacted CO but no reply as yet. Replaced container with temp log best as could.
Log to follow. This needs further investigation into its Container and log. So, require to speak to a special friend.
Nice little walk, not too far off the track in an obvious opening, so don't go bush-bashing too much. Cache was a little wet and mouldy so we couldn't write in the log. TFTC
Back in Albury for a shortened holiday given current events. An opportunity to take a little walk this morning over the hill and back again. A quick hop step and jump up this other side of the road and after taking in the morning views a short hunt later for this logbook. Yep, a bit wet, but serviceable for my pen.
Thanks team mvb for entertaining me at this location.

This one is desperate need of maintenance. It is soaked and needs a better container.
Ventured 6 metres further down hill from GPS coordinates and finally rocked it in. New plastic bag needed.
Another calander spot filled.
Enjoyed my after work walk. Parked at the end of Delaney St and made the short walk to ground zero. A quick find. Log dry, but will need a new snap lock bag.

A hot walk! Surprised log totally saturated- left open to dry a bit. Will contact CO TFTC
Another beautiful day for a walk. Still plenty of snow on the hills to see from this cache!
Lots of ants. Strange up here today. A police operation. Many officers chasing someone, didn't see anyone other than them. TFTC
Stay in Albury for Australia deaf games. Playing darts versus other states. Warm day with 40 degrees. Lovely view of Albury city from here. Found it. Good hide! Thanks team mvb for the cache.
Parked under a shady tree and made the walk up the steep track in the nearly midday sun . Probably not the best day for a walk on Nail Can Hill, but we weren’t the only ones doing cache madness up here. We had our hats on, our water and our legs got us where we needed to be without too much effort. Just as we neared the water tanks, we spied a person in a yellow T-shirt slinking out of the bush and turning the opposite way to us along the track. When we got to that point there was no definable track, so we deduced it must have been a fellow geocacher. Sure enough when we SL at 11.42am, there was another name already there for today. Left: two pathtags #5085 TFTC team mvb - and now back to the cooler comfort of the geoCruiser a/c.
Had some spare time in Albury so I decided to grab a cache, especially on a beautiful day like today. A nice walk up and a small search around found the container in one spot but the lid a metre away. Signed log and replaced lid. Put back what I found the actual cache. It seems as though it was the right spot from other logs and the hint. TFTC
Found this track by accident after an afternoon stroll with the puppies while daughter was at netball training. Beautiful afternoon for a hike in the sun with plenty of kangaroos about. This one had me stumped for a while until I approached it from a different angle and suddenly there it was. The bag is very wet but the log seems to be in good condition. Appreciated the pencil in the bag as I forgot to bring a pen! TFTC.
Needed a bit of a bush bash on this fine sunny winters day. Found this one close to home. One of the few left. Great spot for a walk. Cache dryish in the bag. Tft
Mr. Lost Wanderer wanted to go have a look at BBQ's. Mrs. Lost Wanderer said he could only if we found a cache first. So that if why we trudged up the hill today. Great views were seen today, including some amazing cloud formations of very black clouds. Little Miss E found the cache after some not so subtle hints. Thanks for the hide.
Found after a few minutes - has been a while as ants were building a nest (and some good centipedes elsewhere). Cache has water inside but log book dry in plastic bag

2671 7 of 25 for day 5 of the Mega weekend with Tankengine & mtrax.
Day 5 of the Surfcoast Mega road-trip to Anglesea. This was the home stretch from Albury to Canberra. We spent about 1/2 a day caching in Albury before hitting the road at 14:30. Fortunately the weather was much improved over the previous day. Occasional showers held us up at times. We found some interesting spots, some that stand out include the old railway station with it's Victorian era covered platform as well as the 'wetlands'. The journey home was marred by occasional showers that seemed to coincide with our scheduled cache stops.
In in all a great road trip. Thanks to my company: mtrax & Tankengine for guiding me though my first Mega trip.
We can't come to Albury without visiting Nail Can Hill. We spent a good while here today grabbing a few caches.

Came down from Canberra with Mtrax and Strangetrousers (and half the other Canberra cachers it seems ) for the Anglesea mega event, and naturally did a whole lot of caches around here as well! Today, on our trip out, it was wet and rainy... But we still managed to find a fair few, and see some interesting places! Nice views - have found a cache up here before! Thanks TM.
Theredfox found fast. I was too busy navigating with my excited dog on long lead!
Bit of a trek through the bush to find it but it's a very obvious hiding place!
Out for a morning caching in Albury. Completed Nail Can, the CP river run and Wonga Wetlands. Parked on the split street below and ran up through the bush to this one. A quick find once I read the hint. TFTC.
JoeyLovesTreasure, ZQX and I decided to make a road trip to Albury this weekend to co-incide with the Melbourne Mega intro event being held today. But while we were in the area, decided to pick up a few local caches - it would be rude not to!
After JLT departed to do family time mid morning, ZQX and I headed off to do some more caches for him to meet a D/T challenge ! This cache fitted the bill, so we made the trek to the GZ where the cache was easily found. Great views of the district from here!
Thanks Team MVB!

Found with AG27 on a brilliant morning. It was supposed to rain, but the rain held off during the daylight hours, which suited us just fine! AG27 made the find at GZ. Nice location. Good exercise.

Started out a cold morning then warmed up to a fine sunny day

Really easy find once you get to GZ. Just took a bit of a small hike to get there
After searching the area where the gps took us we expanded our search and finally found it
Short visit to Albury and I decided I needed to clean up all the Nail Can caches. This was the first and found after a short search. Nice view. Thanks.
Interrupted a kangaroo who was probably looking for the cache too. He was about three metres away from the hiding spot but didn't stay for long.
[:(!] Before heading off to Melbourne to fly to Perth to be with our four year granddaughter who has a tumor attached to he spine and has to have an operation to remove it in the coming weeks, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was quickly in hand.

Nice one! Dodged a few roos and kept an eye out for slithery friends, but nice afternoon for a walk.
Nice spot, I had just about given up because my GPSr wasn't working very well and as I was walking back to my bike I saw what looked to be like a good hiding spot and sure enough, there it was. I'd walked straight over it about 5 minutes ago.
An easy find at dusk with kjmcg1 and lisasaidso. The sky was pretty sweet too TFTC.
# 6521. Heading to Albury on this cold winter's day with Robmc to do some chores. Decided to pick up a few caches along the way.
A nice walk with a bit of huffing and puffing to get to GZ. Unfortunately the cold, cloudy day meant no views to the snow today but we did get good views of the town. Found the cache easily enough and even though it is only 15 or so months old it is starting to get brittle and break up. Needs some attention.
Thanks team mvb

Needed to pop up to Albury to do a bit of shopping with BettyBoo3747, found a bit of extra time to grab a few caches on the way.
Thanks for the detailed description of where to park and how to get there. Made the task very easy.
Nice view from GZ, a bit too cloudy to see as far as Bogong, but a nice look over Albury.
The container is starting to fall apart, might need some care soon, but is OK atm.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found just on dark! Nice try Roos....didn't even scare me. Found with Shellumbus.
Absolutely love bush hides, especially the view from the top. Thanks for bringing us to a nice track we haven't ventured along before. A quick find as geoson spotted a geotrail I couldn't c even after he took off down it! Who needs a GPS when an eager geokid is about. SL TNLN tftc.
Nice walk in a part of Nail Can Hill I hadn't visited. Log book needs a new bag and is a little damp. TFTC team_mvb
GPS was spot on; fun little grab with a great view of the sunrise on this lovely morning. TFTC.
Yay. Was about to give up due to the fast approaching darkness and my 7 year old daughter proved her 'master cacher' title.
