Never watched the show but enjoyed the walk around this Koala preserve. Only saw one Koala. It was daytime, so not suprisedThanks K&M
Over visiting from NZ for a month and today is our last full day. I needed a few more finds to crack 500 for the trip and set a new monthly record. This group of caches in the Burbank area looked like they would be ideal for an early morning wander, before the day reached the predicted 34 degrees .. Second for the day was this one, which was a nice quick find. A good start to the day so far. TFTC
For near on two years now, I have been dropping first son at his mates place around Wynnum on a Sunday afternoon. This is my little break for the week as I have three hours to explore the area and find some new caches. I am gradually widening my arc and this afternoon I spend two hours walking around the JC Trotter trails. There are plenty of caches in this bushland to find, and this afternoon I bagged 4.This was the second. A little slippery on the trail with all the rain, but i was able to head straight to the cache. Log book and cache are all good here. Thanks very much for placing this cache TMRabbit. Cheers
I am needing a J animal for a challenge cache and theres one in this area. Ive also been wanting to find this Big Bang Theory series of caches, so with hubby, we parked in a small area off Mt Cotton Rd and did a circuit walk over a couple of hours. Later we discovered a safer parking area on Cherbon St. We had 12 finds, all fairly easy, and one DNF. We enjoyed our walk in this lovely area. All good here. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Came out to get the Jack Rabbit cache and got this on the way back. A nice walk. TFTC

SaintsMadHouse and I had escaped for another day of Wednesday Madness. We had decided on this area of Bushland to start our day with and would then branch out with other stuff later.
This cache was the first of the day, the first for me, with SaintsMadHouse having already done it previously. I had only done one or two other caches in this area a while ago.
A quick warm up walk to this one, we were glad to have left the jumpers at the car.
Arriving at GZ I spotted the cache quite quickly.
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.

Cut through the little trail from the east. Great place to explore, and no troubles thanks!
Nice quick find at the moment while the area is recovering from the fire. TFTC!
I had intended to ride through this bush land to collect all the Rats and any other stray in the general area but on arrival I noticed the NO BIKES signs at the entry. I don't know why as these fire trails would have been perfect to the ride. However there were council rangers at the car park so the bike stayed in the car today. That said I had an enjoyable 8 km round trip for the morning.
There is an intended burn off in this area and the parks people have cleared the trees and logs to protect them - cache was safe.

Today after attending the Van Gogh Alive exhibition, I decided to head out solo for some bushland walks around Capalaba. My first stop was J.C. Trotter Memorial Park and detouring past the various *Big Bang Theory* geocaches, and then I took a few more miscellaneous walks grabbing some of the oldie geocaches in the vicinity. After exhausting my water supply, I decided to finish off my afternoon with driveby geocaches and short walks, in particular, finding a few more of the *Saturday in the Park* (SITP) series.
In the end, walking around J.C. Trotter Memorial Park past the 17 geocaches on offer took about 2.5 hr with a mix of jogging and walking. There were a few other muggles about either jogging or walking their dogs, but I was largely solo during my trip. I am a fan of the *Big Bang Theory* TV show, so although the geocaches weren't physically themed, it was still a nice dedication series.
I arrived here, and after a short search, I managed to make a quick find of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Back today to finish off the caches in this area starting with this one. Nice walk through the paperbarks to get to the cache. Thanks for the hunt.
Out with muggle daughter and Beanz for some exercise in the outdoors. Decided to take the track that I thought would be quickest much to daughter's fear that we were lost. Good navigation through the timbers. It appears that the track we took may have been great in its time but storms have made it a but if a challenge

Out and about for the day clearing out this reserve. Had my eye on it for a few years but with a bit of motivation and a day with nothing better to do saw a bunch of trads turn into smileys . TFTC
The kids went in to get the last one of the day. We’ll be back to get the rest at some time in the near future including hunting down Sheldon.
Thanks for a great day out away from everyday life. We loved being in Trotter for a few hours.

Chamad was telling me the other day that he was wanting to try and do 50 caches in a day for the badge, so yesterday I asked if he was keen to go out and find them. We organised a time and place to start our run which was by Burbank. We wandered around a few reserves and then decided to head towards Springwood for a few Earth caches, mystery’s and trads.
All in all we had a great day out and we’re both completely exhausted.
Sorry for the generic post.

TFTC smile 5646 out and about with miss Millie geo dog on our way Southside to pick up a few oldies, caches that is, had a big day, picking up all the big bang series as well. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Out today with my Geocaching’s buddy Grannysmith1947. Our target again was one old cache and a animal cache for that animal alphabet challenge. Have two more to get. After that one it now leaves me one to get. Yippee .
But there is 17 caches in this park, I have to clear this park out. Found 16 one DNF, so not to bad I think.
Then Grannysmith1947 notice another old cache in the park next door. So we had to visit that old one to.
So two old caches today. And 4 yesterday
Plus two 2006 ones too
Sorry for the generic post
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC TMRabbit *354* streak. *2128* Finds

Last one for the series and the day and I was happy to finish without any DNF’s. A beautiful spot and a nice fresh morning for a couple of hours in the bush. A great series, thanks for all the hides!
Midday after arranging to meet ESCR to complete Makku Mob - Tingalpa we stopped for an ice cream which turned into 3pm lunch because Oddiewan looked at his stats and saw he only needed 20 to reach geocache find number 200. He found Trotter park on the map full of 18 hides— all with recent finds and logs with the likes of “quick find”. A plan was then hatched— neither of us had enough battery power to last the whole hunt so we made the plan to economise our devices turning off all redundancies. We parked at the trailhead and headed off, with the idea that we spend only 5 min at each hide and employed a bit of a get-ahead approach where I remained to sign the log, once found, while he ehaded off to search for the next. In most cases I caught up before he had laid hands on the next one. It was efficient and we found all 18, only one in poor condition (but dry). A brilliant day ending in us finding the final three back near home. Thanks for all the caches. This was a great park to send a Sunday afternoon. Cheers, semik
I was in need of 11 gems for the mystery at the museum challenge and the filters suggested this would be a good place to tackle today. I am a fan of The Big Bang Theory show, and enjoyed finding these caches. TFTC
We walked along side the path here as this part has copped some rain and the path is really soggy. Once we neared GX we ventured in and you wouldn’t think we were in the same area with the amount of water out there and no water in here. Wasn’t too long before we had our name on another log in here.

Another successful find on our adventure. Kinda of did some romant8c bush bashing as Teazr was silly enough to follow my directions . Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
My last find for the day... with two very pooped woofa and mayby a tpuch of sunburn, we thoroughly enjoyed this series. TFTC
George managed to find most of the spider webs today! James came with me to this one as the others stayed on the 'track'. An easy find in the obvious place, retrieved by James, with the log signed and replaced as found. Our last find for today, as the lads are getting a bit weary and hungry. (So was George). Thanks TMRabbit for this series. We have enjoyed visiting the park and exploring quite a way from our normal jaunts closer to home.
Got up early for our venture around this bushland reserve. There were a few smiley faces from a long time ago and it was good to see a new bunch of caches. We especially liked the novelty hides. Thankyou TMRabbit for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Out here on a rainy afternoon attempting the caches in the Big Bang theory...the approach to this one in the gloomy weather made it feel like walking through a haunted forest...TFTC!
Another great find and barely any bush bashing necessary to get to which is always a plus. Thanks for all the wonderful caches TMRabbit
Last one of 11 for this morning, and perhaps the easiest after a long but fruitless search for BBT 4. Great series in a beautiful spot – thanks for bringing me here, TMRabbit. I'll be back in the area soon to look for some more – maybe starting with all those creepy critters off Alperton Road!
Found with the geohound this afternoon. All good with the cache. Enjoying the nice wander peacefully along the tracks.

Out today with the family for a walk on such a nice warm winter’s day. We decided to do a lap around the JC Trotter Memorial Park and to see how many caches we can find along the way.
This one was a quick find and our last for the day. That gives us 15. And we will have to return some day soon for the couple that we skipped over and to have another look for Amy.
