Thanks for the reminder Bunjil. I’m not sure if you are aware but we are in lockdown in our area with travel allowed up to a ten klm radius. According to news reports it would seem that we have to suffer this for at least another month, perhaps longer so I am left with no alternative but to archive.

This one took a while to find, but after realising it was a big container, we found it straight away!
Out on my own today enjoying this walk along with many others whilst looking for some clues. Nice easy find here but cache is water logged. Such a shame as I loved the theme. Did the best I could to dry it out. Thanks for the cache BorisB&Nastasha
Best sized cache we have come across in ages. Shame someone left the lid off last time cos it is pretty wet. Needs some TLC but cool find
This would be an amazing spot to drop off some travelbugs. Apparently this one is water log it looks like the last person left it upside down allowing lots of water in. Was not able to sign log as to wet however have sent photo to CO.

We are on a holiday with extended family. They talked about doing the Red Hill trail for a walk. I thought I’d check to see if there were any geocaches. Oh! Just a few! This was the last of 12 we found on this trail today. We will be back. Awesome trail and an awesome afternoon out. Love these sized containers. Now it’s time for us to head back for some fish and chips. P.S. if you do what we just did your shoes and socks will probably look like this!
Started this series and took a few days to complete the whole thing. Really enjoyed searching for some really clever caches and must say none of them were disappointing at all, such great ideas. Collected all the clues and found The Pines and was able to unlock the cache. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining this series

This lovely big container was damp inside and the log book was wet despite being in a zip lock bag. Guess that is what happens when things aren’t closed properly. Once again we were able to SL at 5.20pm as the log was a write-in-the-rain type. #7299 TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
Funny, so many good caching memories have these CO's names attached.
Walking around pine forests late at night some 5 years back doing the first night cache. We cached on the way down so didn't actually start it till midnight.
FTF on the LOR series, absolute caching brillance. Riding around smashing them out in one big day from Geelong.
The new and updated Black Hawk down.
Now this sensational little series showing off what seems to be a tranquil and stunning part of Red Hill.
Thanks for the memories.

GPS was throwing me off a bit, but eventually spotted what looked like a likely marker. Took 1 step further an I had it! Definitely one of the bigger caches I've found! Great walk along here
My buddy and I went out to try for a few caches before the heat got too bad. Two multis and two trads and this was the only one we found before having to go and do our own things.
It's been a few years since I found a couple in this series and it seemed ridiculous to stop by just for another one as I do want to do the rest along this trail, it's just a matter of planning.
I wanted a find for my efforts and this seemed quite close to the rd as we parked and approached from the rd. My buddy decided to eat some of the blackberries only realising upon leaving they had just been sprayed! We eventually found ourselves on the trail anyway and then at GZ. I spotted the cache, a quite large one at that. It was well hidden, but also stood out given its size. Then realised the purpose of the size from seeing inside.
Thanks to the CO's. Will be back in the next few weeks.

#3992 We are down from NE Vic for the long weekend for a bit of caching fun on the Peninsula. Today we targeted the Red Hill series which has been on our wish list for a long time. We started from the Merricks end at 9:45am and finished up in Red Hill for lunch. A bewt walk on a bewt day completing a bewt GC series . A few muggles enjoying the trail today but it didn't interfere too much with completing the well hidden caches.
Another quick find and thus far we have not been derailed by any of the hides along the trail today. Fantastic series coming to an end . TFTC!

Timely to escape the smoke and fire threats in the NE and catch up with some buddies in Somers AND get out on the MTB to explore the trail since it’s not really beach weather. A great series and so much care and thought has gone into creating lots of fun hides. TFTC series
Found after a bit of a scramble in the Bush... gps was jumping all over the place! TFTC
It took me a bit of searching, but I found it in a logical spot after looking at the spoiler pic.
Found at 10:55 AM GAFF1.
That set up would have been so cool in it's hey day - a bit tired and dishevelled now. It is amazing though how water gets in?
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Nice day for a cache - dropped off TB (Rohan & Russ). Cache is very wet but the lid appears to be intact.
Trekking along the red hill rail trail for the first time with a local mazzystar. It’s huge! TFTC
Found this big one on the way home from Red Gum. Looking a little tired and wet, needs maintenance.
I saw this series once I was up Arthur’s dear, thought I would have a go at a few via my bike, most of the caches were easily found although the logs are quite damp or drenched and need fixing up.
Today was a good day out, made my way down to safety beach/Mornington Peninsula area for a CITO and event. Then headed back via some bike caches. All finished off with an experience with the police.

In search of clues to solve the mystery at the museum. It turned into a great opportunity to complete the Red Hill trail on this cold winters morning. Found some Fingerprints at the cache. TFTC
Great name for the cache given its off the path. Took a bit of scouting but eventually found the large cache. Tftc
Down on the Peninsula for a week's holiday and doing some random caches while we do the tourist thing. Despite the showery weather we decided to do the first few caches on this Rail Trail which had caught our eye due to the large number of favourites on some of the caches. This was the third cache. There was still the sporadic Muggle walkers on the track but we were able to discretely make the find as the cache was a bit off the track. A different and well constructed cache which wasn't what we were expecting. TFTC. and bringing us to this walking track.
We had headed down to the Mornington Peninsula for a day trip and we ended up at Red Hill for lunch. Realising we near this trail, we went for a walk and I stopped to look for some caches along the way.
There was a bit of a bush bash towards this one but I had no trouble finding it at GZ. I was a bit worried about snakes but if they were there, I didn't see any! A good sized cache. TFTC

Deeper into the bush than I imagined, but a great hide! Geowife & I enjoyed this trail, thanks to BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
A rather large hide, well hidden. Took trackable, left a swap (see photo). TFTC!
After a very hot day yesterday, today promised to be a bit cooler so we decided to head out on the Red Hill power trail. We parked at Red Hill and set off with a packed lunch and lots of water which was a good thing as the return trip took 4 hours.
The caches are all great and a lot of thought and effort has gone in the the creation of this cache trail.
Thanks for the placement and maintenance of theses caches.

Despite some unique hides in this outstanding series they are all starting to blur in to one now; or maybe it's the absence of food in this normally well(over) fed stomach making me delirious.
Nope that is not true; this one stands out for the size of the container; and we dropped a trackable off here.

4470 Finds
Have had this series on my to do list for awhile now and finally this week I had the chance to tackle it.
Perfect weather and great caching companions made this a very enjoyable day, and the quality of hides was awesome.
Cheers for the cache and series.

What a lovely day to go for a bike ride. The sun was shining and the company was great. We headed out at midday after doing a bit of a car shuffle and rode mainly down hill for most of the way. We did encounter a big group of horse riders that we tried to stay in front of. Sometimes it worked. We all had a few laughs and we found them all
Thanks for placing the great series. It is always great fun when they are different hides.

Grub62 and I thought a few caches after visiting the Red Hill market. The Red Hill Express trail looked a likely place to start. A very pleasant walking trail even on this hot day.TFTC.
After an early start to the Red Hill Market - Bunadoorian and myself thought we would try and get some of the Red Hill Express caches. 3 of 8 today. Thank you for taking us to this place - most people would walk or ride past.. TFTC BorisB &Natasha & Nut Bear.
Ended up using the clue. Looked for about 20 minutes. Great little spot Scrubs and Teach.
We picked this cache up at 11:24am. This was a nice big cache, we had to tramp a little further in the bush than we expected, so I hurried back to guard the steeds
SirJ-Oz and I have had this series of caches on 'the list' for a very long time, but due to a variety of things ranging from my hip to just being generally lazy, we haven't managed to come and collect them, until today. I was a little late, but we eventually got going and had a very pleasant day collecting this series and a number of other caches in the area.
Thanks for taking over and managing the cache and the series BorisB&Natasha.

Find #3748. Found @ 11:22 with LouiseAnn
The plan for today was to knock off the Red Hill Trail caches by bike, and grab some others along the way.
Ducked off into the bushes with LouiseAnn making dodgy comments, and as the innocent choir boy that I am, these comments made no sense to me and I in no way responded in kind. Disclaimer: some or all of the preceding sentence may be a lie.
Nicely hidden off the normal path, and I assume near a structural throwback to the trail's history (but maybe not). A quick find of the nice sized container. We liked the diorama contained within.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache BorisB&Natasha

I managed to find the cache first. It was well hidden and we walked right past it and only saw it after a bit if searching TFTC
The sun was out and it was getting warm .. we made a bit of noise before venturing into the grassy stuff .. walked right by the cache but Bernspagette spied it as we returned TFTC
Today i decided to do the Red Hill Express trail on bike.
I usually like to do these sorts of trails on Fridays when more people are at work but no luck this weekend.
A cold and windy day had me freezing the whole time.
This one had me walking in circles for a while. Thought about phoning my mate who found it last week but just spotted something out of the corner of my eye.
Thanks for the cache

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

We had come out for the weekend to visit one of the local distilleries and to have a look around. I'm not normally out this way so I had plenty of caches to choose from when I had a bit of time to spare. I spotted this trail and set off at a march to try and fit in as many as I could before the daylight faded or the wife finished shopping, whichever came first. I also had to contend with the rain that kept coming in bursts making the muddy trail even harder to negotiate. My biggest issue was knowing when to stop though as I was thoroughly enjoying the style of hides along the trail and just wanted to keep going but with each find was getting further away from the car. In the end I had to pry myself away before it got too dark, I'll have to return another time to complete the trail. Thanks for the hides BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
A bit off track this one, unlike the few previous to it. After a bit of sneaking around behind trees to avoid mugged AlliTron and I found it. TTFC
My GPS was all over the place for this one. In the end I just started walking around GZ widening my proximity until eventually spotting the string on the tree. TFTC!
GPS way off ended up using the clue after an elongated chaotic bush bash that resulted in the toddler rolling her ankle in a hole and the pug trying to escape with some bikers. TFTC.
