Cache has gone, possibly destroyed by bush fire, but definitely gone. Will replace as soon as a replacement cache is found.
DNF, not sure if my coordinates are incorrect or just the hide to good for us spend about 20min looking. Will try again in the future.
Found it. A big roo gave me a bit of a fright on the way but not as much as when I was poking around at gz. TFTC.
Nice!
Came across a bobtail warming itself in the middle of the path. Dog completely missed it luckily and so we were all able to travel along in peace.

After the traditional nearby I came by and did this cache. The sign is well known to me and I just about had all the clues worked out before I arrived to double check them.
A quick walk down to the cache once I had worked it out and the log signed. It was in full view so I hid it a bit more.
Thanks for the cache.

Pass the wildlife centre almost on a daily basis and never knew it existed. Good to know. Easy find. Co ords spot on. Tftc
While driving past I stopped by and snapped a picture of the information required. I gleaned the coordinates a bit further up the road and headed for GZ . I enjoyed the walk and had a quick look around, I didn't spot anything . Around and around in circles another couple of times and then TAHDAH - there it is. Don't know how I missed it the first couple of times [?] A neat cache and another multi off my list TFTC Mistraluna
I have been wanting to do this multi for a long time, and as I was in the area today, and it wasn't blowing a gale or raining, took the opportunity to work out the numbers for GZ and off I set.
A very pleasant, if sandy, walk, with the only wildlife about today being some distant birds. Signs of very large and plentiful kangaroos though!
There was also a cooperative critter contentedly guarding the log, too, which was signed and replaced, then back through the sand to find the last one for the day.
Thanks for the information about the wildlife centre and the cache Mistraluna.

Oh dear, dear. Not what I was expecting in my mind of a simple offset multi. Misinterpreted the "behind the facility" part so double checked when GZ was hundreds of metres away. A further drive followed by a 400m walk along soft sand resulted in another smiley face on my map. Thanks for the cache; it's hidden in plain view which is I assume how it was intended.
Oh no, am glad that nobody got hurt. It is very unusual for snakes to still be active at this time of year though. I think the seasons must be going haywire.
After collecting the information we headed to the trailhead with iluvtrekking. The two geo-hubby's headed off towards gz where my better-half got the fright of his life when they encountered a snake - he did a ninja like leap backwards away from it and at the same time propelled Mr iluvtrekking forward. Once the danger had passed, they made a quick find at gz, signed the log and hurriedly returned to the cars. Thanks Mistraluna.
Another nice multi, even though Mr richlink got the fright of his life when he spotted a snake. Just as well Mr iluvtrekking was there to save his life. TFTC.
Joint *FTF* with Jasenjanine after their event, sometime late this afternoon What a way to end a perfect day, and actually a brilliant caching weekend all in all. So about time to leave the event when Jasenjanine suggested we try for this one, no hesitation from me. We arrived at the waypoint, Jasenjanine did all the hard work, as I was feeling a bit silly & tired (nothing new from me ). Then the pleasant walk to the cache, while I carried the very cute Tyler. Jasenjanine found it quickly while I searched on the wrong side. SL, TFTC Mistraluna, appreciated it being published on event day
A comical, cute container. I enjoyed the education about the wildlife volunteer service, we had noticed this facility while driving past only yesterday. Also nice to spend time with the CO today [8)]

After having an absolutely exhausting (but fantastic) day at our event, we were thinking about packing up when Luna Maya says there's a new cache... A bit far really, but we were already half way there
After a world record breaking time of packing up, we were on our way Arriving at the posted co-ords, we had just started to look at the sign when who turns up but the CO... We started working out some numbers while she patiently waited for us to do our "amusing" calculations [:o)]
We then headed off toward GZ, little Tyler was most cranky so Luna Maya had to carry him whist I did the navigating! Soon enough the GPSr slowly counted down & I found the lair... Mister Tyler was very hesitant to retreive the cache, so it was up to me Once the cache had my approval, Tyler happily played with the cache while we signed the log
Thanks Mistraluna for the cache and great end to an awesome day [^]
