Had a good look but couldn't find it.. unless it was not hidden like i thought it was....
Took quite a while to find the correct tree but after a very thorough search we also believe it may have been dislodged as some wire above, and a large piece of bark on the ground and no cache to be seen. Hope not as sounded good. With Slydog.007, Jackie987 and Moustachecashstash.
All four of us searched up and down and round I don't know how many times. This poor old Tree looked like it had been poked and prodded and scoured before with several bits of loose bark on The ground around it. I actually wonder if it has been dislodged or lost as I see previous log could not find either? Will try again next time we are in Timaru.
I didn't count how many times I went around the object in question . .but was unable to spot the cache.
We will be back.
We will be back.
I was starting to doubt the COs botany skills until I read the fine print and then looked a bit harder. Tricky wee hide.
Thanks Bitsprayer for the cache.

Sneaky wee cache but found it ok. Had to dodge a falling pinecone - not sure if there were squirrels in the tree
Loved it

PC Sniff's GPS had us searching in shrubbery close by. My reading aloud of the name again narrowed our search down to the correct area, but still we couldn't find what we were looking for. We went around and around, poking our fingers into every likely hole or crevice. I think I dislodged the cache unknowingly because PC Sniff gleefully announced he could see it just a few seconds after I'd passed it by. Very clever hide. Kia ora and thanks for the cache.
GPS a bit out but when jrb5050 read out a hint I noticed some thing poking out and cache was quickly in hand TFTC
Was completing a circuit of the tree, spotted a likely place, and then saw something untreelike...just what I was looking for. TFTC
A great hide - well done!
This took some finding, I was just about to give up.

Walked around the Tree once, and soon spied what we were looking for.Had to be stealthy as a group of Tree Fellas were working close by.TFTH
A quick pre-breakfast cache and dash, in my sister's backyard.
Had to do a few circles before the GPS settled down and pointed to the obvious.

10pm. 3 degrees. Frosty crunchy grass. Two times around and, it must be, yes. Fingers were numb and fumbling trying to replace the log. TFTC.
3rd cache found as Mrs BaldEd & I had a leisurely walk around the Botanic Garden. T4TC
A nice wee walk in the gardens. on a wet day to head home. Thanks for the hide.
A quick journey to Timary this morning was a good excuse for a stop along the way to where I was going.
A great specimen that I could find a very good use for!
Thanks

Took a bit of manipulation and a few swear words cos we could see but not get! Finally success. TFTC
It has been ages since I have done a Bitsprayer cache and wondered what evils lay in wait for me. Approached GZ and thought, "It'll be there". No. So, did the obligatory three circles of the structure and started to mutter. Eventually found at the first place I looked but extraction was hard as had not been replaced properly. Logged and replaced as intended.
ftf. Nice Hide.
