Quick find here. No trouble at all.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the sixth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was so hot. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Onderweg van Alice Springs naar Darwin met omweg langs Litchfield NP en Cox Peninsula deze cache gelogd. TFTC.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return down the centre. Today, we are riding Route34 looking for scenery, history, and geocaches. Thanks BDOZ.
In Darwin with iluvtrekking for a revisit after eleven years. Beautiful weather and a great day to be out caching. Headed to the Cox Peninsula to do the Route 34 series and others along the way. Thanks Doodle Bug Oz
We called and grabbed I think all of the ones in this area as it was a bit of a drive to get here, we got this one as we were leaving.
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick stop on the way bac, after making sure we achieved our goal first.
Thanks Doodle Bug Oz
Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Today we went for a drive to explore out the Wagait Beach area and to collect the Route 34 caches along the way. We were surprised that cache was still there after the burning off in the area. TFTC
Out caching with Irondale today and we decided to go all the way from Darwin CBD to wagait beach. I had made a list of caches starting from berry springs which was closed for swimming unfortunately up to the wrecked plane west of wagait.
It was a successful day with all but two caches found.
This one was found ok. TFTC

Happy Easter find as the person below said there is no longer a sing and is not a sistema container, but we still managed to find it
After a lovely trip to this side of Darwin, we begin our trip back and stopped here for a quick find.

Wonder where that road takes you to - maybe to some interesting WW11 location that nobody knows about anymore?
Thanks Doodle Bug Oz.
Feedback: Don't recall it being a black sistema?

We decided to stay at Wagait Beach last night with ilook4geo and continued the caching this morning as we headed off again. We found all the caches we looked for this time and were pleased to find that maintenance had been done recently on some by fellow cachers. Thanks go to Doodle Bug Oz for placing this cache. All was in good order here.
The caching hunt went on today with goignplaces2 as we headed towards Darwin. It was an interesting time with some easy finds and some finds that took quite a bit of walking to get to GZ. All logs were signed and returned to place. TFTC.
Spending a couple of days in the area. Thanks for hiding this cache and giving us the opportunity to explore .
A nice quick find.
Thanks for the stop to stretch the legs and break up the journey to the beach.

Enjoyed our maintenance run on this lovely dry season day! Biggest mobs of traffic on the road -including lots of caravans travelling to a new location.
Ended up replacing cache and log here
Disabling this cache until I can check on it. Planning a maintenance run of all my caches along the Cox Peninsula Road shortly now the dry season is here.
Tftc. Sign isn't there anymore and the gps location is now off from where it's been moved to. It's closer to to the track and road than you might think.
Went fro a last geocaching drive while still in Darwin, I found this one while on the way. TFTC.
Out on a maintenance run on a gorgeous dry season day ... cache all good here

Found the container sitting out in the open, but there wasn't really anywhere I could see for it to be. I'm guessing something used to be here but is gone. Anyway log signed TFTC.
A road trip with my younger brother that I haven`` t seen for the last 6 years. Made me to do this trip. Between Yulara and Darwin we found lots of Geocache` s. It was an awesome trip that I will never forget. We have visited so many beautiful places and seen so much, love this place. Thanks for having me Australia, I certainly enjoy all the views and hidden treasures.

Today Pa was incredible - chauffeuring me along Cox Peninsula Road as we continue our wandering around northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs over Easter. I had planned on hunting for 20 caches and managed to find them all plus an extra that I really didn't think was a possibility. Some were quick DIDOs, others were absolutely mind blowing in that they took so much patience to find and others took us to the most amazing areas teaching us history that we were never taught in school.
Many thanks to all the COs who have placed any of these caches for us to find and enjoy. My name was added to the log as either Smittengranny, stamped or as SG in the small logs to save space.

#7117 - 14:58; Day 21 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We had now reached Darwin, our most northerly port, after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. Today we planned to do some more caching in and around Darwin before heading out for a run to the Cox Peninsula to Wagait. A much better day today with 59 finds and only half as many DNFs, 5. All caches we located were in good order, including this one as we headed out along the Cox Peninsula Road. TFTC Doodle Bug Oz
Alice trip 2017. Day 19. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I had a second day around Darwin, but we also went out to wagait beach along the Route 34 series, we even went though a fire.
Thanks.

13574. Next find of Day 11 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. In Darwin.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

Day 2 of our (fitzy_1965, LuckyL10n, albida33 and myself) stay in Darwin. It was a mixed bag of a day with about 42 finds, but also about 30 DNF or DNA because of the DNF's, but or course you get that somedays.
The ones we found were a mixture of micro's and small and a lot were in interesting places. Caching in the NT is different to the southern states, so a day of 40 odd is a good return....especially with a bit of sightseeing thrown in as well.
Thanks for all the caches owners and the fun in grabbing them.

Did not get the last log from the cache owner, as we had uploaded caches to gps. We still found the cache after a short search here. Good hide, which is quite visible if you are looking for it. TFTC
A great day for a maintenance run along Route 34 - this cache is no longer a Sistema it's an eclipse tin and the Go No Further sign has gone .... But the cache is still there and waiting to be found
Today we had a big day of caching along the Cox Peninsula Road into Mandorah and beyond.
A quick find which is always welcome in the heat!
