Found in very soggy condition with a boken container in a torn bag! Needs urgent maintenance.
Quickly picked up this one and the previous finders aren't wrong very soggy . Lucky I had a shapes packet in the car and was able to tear it apart to sign my entry. Tftc tnln sl
We were on a weekend visiting our grandson for his 3rd birthday and then followed by a geo event in Wonthaggi; giving us ample opportunity to grab a cache or two or three as we travelled. Thanks to all cachers for giving us a place to stop and get us moving. Apologies for a generic log. It was sleeting and bitterly cold when we did this one. Sadly the container had broken and the log book was sodden. Unable to sign

We found the cache lying on the ground in a zip lock bag as the cache itself was broken. We were unable to write our names on the log as water had gotten to it.
Found it on our way home from a caching adventure, as the last log said it's very wet TFTC
My kids found it but not at GZ but over the road. will put back at the asumed GZ.

A nice quick one is what I needed as I was feeling tired from the long drive from the Mega in SA.
Thanks coley babee for an easy one.
Thanks coley babee for an easy one.
YAY – found it today while travelling home from the SA Oz Mega Event. Thanks Team Crackers for setting up this cache. Another stop and opportunity to stretch the legs while heading home towards Gippsland. The cache was quick to find, signed the log and continued the journey - only an hour to go, on the home stretch now.
After completing a historic multi-cache in Glenferrie Rd this morning I ended up out here after work.
This was the first of five finds in the general area.
Cache found easily in a standard type hide.
Log soaked through, tried to dry it in front of the heater but still very wet.
Added a piece of paper, signed and dated.
Slipped the cache into a zip lock bag and returned it to it's snug hiding place.

This turned out to be a nice Friday morning driveby. With no signs of any activity about, the cache was quickly located.
Thanks to coley_babee for the cache.

Came to town to go to the Cheese place but it was closed so decided to pick up a couple of caches before heading back. This one was waiting for just a few metres down the road. Nice quick park and find. What did the bank robbers say?

Today I thought I'd take a 20 minute drive down the freeway to grab some caches even though the weather was looking a bit dodgy. It ended up constantly raining and stopping so had to find things to shelter in including the car if it was close by enough.
After grabbing another nearby cache and the rain on hold I drove towards this and new exactly where it was so to build my confidence and put the pressure on, I left the engine running.
Good thing I did, an instant find was made, the log signed and I was on my way. Good weeked cache - could be quite busy during the week around here.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Found @ 11:25pm, find # 2966.
After finding my targets for the night, I then headed over to Pakenham to find a few unfound caches on my list.
I had driven passed this one earlier on but there was a muggle standing against a car just up the road from GZ so I kept on going.
After finding others in the area I thought I would try again, so it was back up Purton road, as I neared GZ I slowed down, the street looked clear of any muggles so I stopped but I had gone a passed GZ slightly so I reversed back a little. I got out of the car and was able to make a very quick find but I went back to the car to sign the log. I was sitting in the drivers seat but not completely while I was signing the log, I had just put it back together and I was about to get out of my car to put the cache back when I looked up and saw about 6 people standing in the driveway about 10 metres from GZ that seamed to be dressed in similar clothing like they are part of a gang looking at me, I then sat in the car properly shut the door and drove off with the cache in my lap.
I drove around the block thinking how am I going to get the cache back into its hide, I drove down a side street and stopped back from Purton rd and waited a few minutes before walking up to the corner to see if the coast was clear. I then walked slowly up to GZ, replaced the cache and the quickly returned to my car.
Thanks to coley babee for placing this cache, but it wasn't such a fun one.

Had the security guard doing the rounds tonight, but after patiently waiting, made a quick find. Tftc
Nobody around and only one place it can be. A quick grab into the spiderwebs and I had the cache in hands.

Nice easy hide with DK Angel someone kindly cleaned out all the spiders for us
Todays caching adventure was with PantherX as we explored something down my end of the world. Look at the location, Saturday afternoon was a great day to do this cache as traffic was minimal. Quick find in the obvious location.

Find 965 at 14:06. Today I was out with Sando33716 on a caching run around Pakenham. It was a bit of a frustrating day with a few DNFs but all up I managed 9 finds. This was cache number 5 on this run.
Saturday afternoon seemed to be the perfect time to drop by here as there was no one around. The cache was located quickly in the obvious location. Thanks for the hide, coley_babee!

Out caching with Nut bear on this beautiful sunny Cup Day. The public holiday helped make this a very easy muggle free find.

Out for some cup day caching with BorisB&Natasha. Nice quick find SL TFTC coley_babee.
Jays Mum and Dad visiting from NZ, so took them out for a drive for a spot of caching. TFTC.
A late night after dinner stop, pulled the car over close to GZ and soon identified where the cache might be. Looked around a few times - avoided some large spiders - and made the find without too much difficulty, getting the cache (and avoiding the spiders) was a little more difficult. TFTC.
Out for the day to do a spot of geocaching with good caching buddies Earthbound Chief. A nice quick driveby for us today. TFTC.

On my way to work at 5.30am knowing I would need Cache for the Get Out Into The Great Outdoors and Cache for 31 Days of August, so made a detour into Pakenham to grab this one. Sl Thanks Coley babee for the cache and I see you spotted me last night at Pakenham Walk #1 my stealth might need a little work.lol
On the way home with Campbell after school, what a better way to kill an hour than to grab a few caches. We did some maintenance on the way to Pakenham, then cleared out most of the area of traditionals.
Quick park and grab in the industrial estate of Pakenham, I was shaking my head driving away from this hide, as I had one refused publishing pretty much the same way this was hidden. Ohh well, them's the breaks.
Thanks for the cache coley babee.

Unusual spot for a cache, but an easy find, right outside the council depot where I was presenting. Thanks.
Heading down to Wonthaggi for Gonefishin07's event tonight we were picking up a few caches along the way.
We know this area well as we had a factory in Purton road for many years and saw the changes as the paddocks that were every where turned into houses, shops and sporting fields. We also know the council yards as when they got their brand new grader a few years back the then Mayor drove it into these yards and we set off a few fireworks off the front of it for added effect so it was good to revisit an area that we haven't been too for quite a few years. The cache itself was a very quick find on a very quiet Saturday morning.
Thanks coley_babee for the cache and congratulations on your engagement.

Today was the day I was heading for my 10,000 find, no big deal really but I thought I better get it done to stop people asking me if I had reached it yet. Thanks for the cache.
This cache was found during a cache run with Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts (TDC). A nice variety of caches found with some really nice hides. With the weather a lot better today, with even a few breaks of sunshine, we headed out to join Rebel for his 10,000 th find. Congratulations and well done Eric - a huge milestone to acieve. Thanks go to the cache owners for the caches we found today.
Todays run was a lot "less wet" than the previous day. The Demoliton Crew today were together having a blast of a day caching, and to celebrate Rebel Acts 10,000 th find. Congratulations Eric, awesome stuff. With better weather, it was fun to clean up caches in an area we have been working on, on and off, for some time. My thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their hides, without them, we would have none to find.
I was just metres from the cache when it was found, as I sat in the drivers seat. The cache being stamped on the passenger seat. Thanks and easy driveby.
------
After a wet caching run yesterday I was glad to be out on a day that had some sun and only a few light rain showers. TDC members had gathered to take Rebel Acts across the 10,000 cache find line. It was a fantastic day, and to capture Eric pass the milestone, was a great highlight. In typical form, Eric made no fuss of it, no grand event to celebrate it. Eric is just happy to be out and about collecting caches, just one more. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches we collected today.

A quick find on the way back to town after finding Aquaduct Trail (Cardinia) #2, SL and replaced in same location. Could see this one being tricky during work hours due to the muggle factor, recommend a night mission TFTC
Bit of traffic coming past me so I had to time it well. Was on the other side of where I expected it to be, but happily found!
In the locality with my caching mate Slink1. We used bikes where needed, Walked when appropriate, drove where possible. A day of caching enjoyment was had by both of us, and a vote of thanks to the cache owners for the effort and placement of the caches. TNLN SL TFTC.

By a sheer fluke I happened to be caching around Pakenham today. Being a Sunday was a great time to attempt this cache. It turned out to be a quick and easy find and you're right, I've seen another just like it in Dandenong. SL TFTC
{FTF} @ 5:55pm.
I was sitting in the small confined space that is my office, punching in numbers, trying to earn a dime or two so that my poor family could continue to etch out our meager existence. Suddenly up popped some new caches and one of them was not far from home! "Just my luck" I thought to myself, if I could get out there and get a FTF, the fame and the fortune could set up my little family for life. Unfortunately, I cannot leave my post at work until after 5pm, by which time the FTF will almost certainly have been logged. I resigned myself to my miserable existence and returned to punching numbers.
Five o'clock rolled around and after I had escorted the last of the customers out the door I sat back down at my computer. Without thinking I re-clicked on the link to the new cache and found that it still had not been logged. Could it be possible that I may still have a chance to get the FTF and all the glory and riches that follows? It certainly might seem so, however, here in the suburbs of Melbourne lies a terrible beast of a cacher who's name is so evil it cannot be uttered.
In polite conversation he is referred to only as "he who does not log". A terrible twisted individual that very little is known about. All that we really know is that he has a penchant for FTFs. He eats them for breakfast, chews them up and then spits them out. It was a very real possibility that "he who does not log" had already found the cache and moved on without anyone ever knowing. Truly, a most evil individual.
So now I was faced with a choice. Do I go straight home to my loving wife and kids for a home cooked meal in our small little cottage in the mountains or do I stay in suburbia and do battle with "he who does not log" and hope against hope that I may win and shower my family and I in power and prestige! I knew it was a risk, but I decided to take it.
It was a dark and stormy night as I headed out along the highway to the dimly lit back streets of Pakenham. The co-ords typed into my handheld GPSr as well as my SatNav. The SatNav guided my poor excuse for a car to the given co-ords at a non-descript road in a small industrial estate in Pakenham. I pulled up at GZ and recognised the hide quickly. I didn't need my GPSr and was able to exit the car and grab the cache quickly. The wind was howling through the nearby trees as I opened the cache container by the muted luminescence of my cars interior light. I pulled out the log book and my eyes searched down the page. I opened the log book up completely to find it totally blank!
My eyes filled with tears of joy as I signed the log and returned the cache. I had beaten the monster and lived to tell the tale. I rang my wife with the good news and she wasn't quite as happy as I expected her to be. Oh well, thems the breaks.
Thanks coley babe for the cache
