Today we were cycling on Rottnest Island. We passed several caches. This was one of them. Thanks and greets from Switzerland!Taureau
Easy one! Thanks for this nice cache. Found it together with Igor.amadeus during our hike.
Today I went for a walk and looked for this one and soon found it. Thanks for the cache.
Nicely made. It's good to see some effort has been out into hiding this cache. A kid has just fallen off her bike so the ambulance was on its way to help her. I think she hurt her leg.
Found after getting off at stop no.4 (porpoise bay) on the Island Explorer Hop-on-hop-off bus around the island.
#5910 Entered full tourist mode today to tour half the island on bikes. Looks like many muggles have the same idea as us, bikes galore! Rolled up to gz here to discover a really nice hide that could have been missed on another day. TFTC Rottnest Islander, love your work, FP deposited.
Visiting From NZ. Staying in Fremantle and just had to visit the Island. We had great weather all week. Today was the worst day of that week, even though it was still fine and warm for us. The wind got up later in the day and made it trickier to ride the bike and a choppy ride home in the ferry. Thanks for all the caches placed on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and giving me a purpose to keep riding!TFTC
Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. What a lovely island! Many thanks to Rottnest Islander for this very cool hide.Kind regards, searchersab
Found a telltale hint when looking in the area and lo and behold! The cache! Thanks #10529
Quick find, heavily disguised but not too heavy, found with Jude E, from NZ, tftc.
TFTC #207 ~~~~~~~~~~~Aloha from Hawaii! Biking around Rotto island, picking up nice caches!Took a little bit, but eventually; success! TFTC!
Haha, great hiding spot! A few quokkas on the way but nothing protecting this treasure, TFTC!
After scooting down the trail for coastal views, I wheeled the bike over to GZ. But wait! Theres a couple rummaging under a bush (having left their bikes in the shade) Nice to meet you Loci and Rose, and bonus, youve already found the cache Well, that was an easy find TFTC RI
No quokkas far and wide for us to see, but we did find the cache... after back tracking a little, as we had walked straight past it
Fun cache, found on our ride around the island! Great spot for a pit stop, TFTC!!!
Riding our bikes past this area, we stopped. After a short search saw something interesting. Yeap, there it was. Thank you for the fun!!
Heute diesen Cache nach etwas suchen auch gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.Ich lasse hier als kleines Dankeschn, sehr gerne ein blaues Herzlein
We are from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of that green ones Smilies .We travel now around WA before we leave for other countrys . I was looking forward to this trip to Rottnest Island very much . We were here 14 years ago .It looked more busyer this time .We went out on the rented bikes.around the Island to visit all Tradis. Everytime we stopped for a cache a Quokka turned up to my pleasure. Of course it was different from seeing them near the restaurants etc. We spoted all cache in good time just like the Quokkas .Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache )oinkoinkText@camp FP now
Found this beaut yesterday around sunset after a lovely day cycling Rotty. Find #62 and my 4th for WA.
We visited the island today and had a great day. Took our bikes across so had a nice ride and went for a few snorkels. We stopped here and made a nice quick find. TFTC
We had a great day on the island and cycled a few kilometers. Great bays and beaches invite you to swim. And of course we also saw the quokkas. Funny animals.
first finder of 2024 - stupidly forgot my pen so had to take a photo to mark the occasion instead. beautiful bush nearby. FP awarded for clever camo and location. first find on Rottnest (so far)
Found with Gummi_Venus. Brilliant hide! Our phones werent working so well here so we had to geosense it. Pleased to say we found it rather quickly. Love the container and cache title.
Another great hide along the road back to the settlement. Lucky to see a group of quokkas about 2km back having a bit of lunch! TFTC
On a very hot cycle around the island, this one gets a favourite, firstly the island location and second the very good Camo on this cache making it look very much part of the surrounds. Tftc
Nice quick find here and our first on Rottnest Island. Thanks for this clever hide. All in good condition here, picked up a TB to move on too.
#7448Day 10 in WA involved a trip to Rottnest Island. We tried to pick the least windy day as we aimed to cycle around the island. After picking up our eBikes, we set off in a clockwise direction. While there was no wind to speak of, we did encounter intermittent drizzle until we got to the west end. From there on, it was beautiful sunshine and quite warm. This was a quick find and I had to return here after remembering I had a TB to drop off that wanted to visit this cache.TFTC Rottnest Islander
After all the frustration with micro and nano caches in Perth, geocaching at Rottnest Island was a delight .Thanks a lot for the cache.
Found quickly, guarded by a small lizard. Very high muggle area so took a while to extract, sign and replace. TFTC

We hired electric bikes and spent 6 hours riding the length and breadth of the island, travelling 50kms, seeing the sights and gathering caches.A quick find at GZ, and neat camo. TFTC, Rottnest Islander.
As I was enjoying this wonderful island, this was a quick find. Container was out in the open, I put it where it belong. Thank You
Found on a circular walk around the east of Rottnest Island. Saw a pelican on the beach nearby. TFTC!
Hired bikes for the day and did the grand tour of Rotto. No quokkas spotted here, but plenty of them back in the village. TFTC.
Found it with Jess and Ray on a wonderful day exploring the fabulous Rottnest Island. Loved the camo. Love caches hiding in plain sight. Loved the cache. Dropped off a jewel and signed the log. Thank you for the cache.
Out exploring Rottnest Island today, nearly didn't make it as some of the ferries were cancelled but here we are, dodging rain squalls. Grabbed the tb from here as signing duties were conpleted. Tftc

Enjoying my first visit to Rottnest Island and joined by patrol14 on a lovely winters day.
Hired a deadly treadle to get us around to several of the caches, and we managed to get half of them done.
Decided this was an appropriate cache to place a little quokka trackable. (It had finally achieved one of its goals to visit Rottnest Island)
We found the cache quickly and replaced it as found.
Thank you, Rottnest Islander, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

That's gotta be worth a favourite point, right? When I got to GZ I figured it was a DNF for sure, but the cache really is there. For Jasmer fans this hide definitely will recall Lake Lanier, of August 2000 fame in Georgia, USA. TFTC!

Dieses Jahr ist es endlich soweit und wir reisen nach Australien um die Gibb-River-Road zu fahren. Eigentlich sollte dies schon 2020 stattfinden, aber da kam irgendwas dazwischen. Also 2023 ein neuer Anlauf.
München->Singapur->Perth->Broome->...->Gibb-River-Road->...->Darwin->München
Heute endlich nach Rottnest Island um Quokkas zu sehen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Mit dem Rad die Insel erfahren und viele schöne Plätze entdeckt.
Zur Dose:
Fix gefunden.
Danke für's Legen und Herführen sagt Bison1.0

What an adventure. This was my first visit to the island I can now say I have been.
I would not book to travel with sea link again unfortunately. The tide was very high this morning in the river. The boat could not get under the bridge so we were put off at east Fremantle, traveled 10 minutes by coach to the Fremantle wharf were we wait for the 11am transport. I lost about 1:5 hours on the island. Finally arrived and set off on foot the skies were ok, some clouds but looked like it was clearing. I brought a hop on hop off bus ticket but decided to walk the first part. Then between caches south side of Kingston and on quokka duty the skies opened I had a rain coat but was drowned. I caught buses between the other caches then walked again in the afternoon from stop 19.
Today I got 9 caches, a multi and the adventure caches. Not bad at all.
Thank you all for placing the caches.
At the bishop retreat I left a TB.
One of the caches would have been cache 2400.
