Logs
I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, rumpleteasers, requesting additional time.
Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned.
In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party.
Thanks,

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by rumpleteasers and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Found this one on the ground with the lid missing and a couple of collectables on the ground. No log though.
Day 3 of the road trip with the boys C10,B12,L1.77 - lots of laughs and perhaps a little therapy will be needed after this trip. But one thing is for sure - I am determined to get a few more yellows on the map on my final full day here in Gero. Many thanks to the COs for the mix of caches. Sorry for the genetic log
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers rumpleteasers!
Cheers rumpleteasers!
Enjoying a long, hot, weekend up in Geraldton Picking up a few caches while here, and even better converting a few previous DNFs into smileys Stopped off here today on my travels and after parking up made a choice on which side to walk. Once at GZ I thought I had chosen poorly as it all seemed rather bare. A potential host quickly drew a blank. Clearly geocaching makes you suspicious of anything and everything though as another possibility soon caught my eye - and bingo there it was. Kinda surprised myself though if I'm honest, haha. A very sneaky hide. All good here today though - TFTC
Last year we couldn't find anything. When we passed again we read some old logs and got a useful hint.
Therefore we could find it today.

Found, very tricky. Navigator did not work here, so thanks to the photo in the activity log we could find it without the coords.
PP1 went one side of the wall & I went the other & we got our hands on it together.....ah hands touching you....touching me....appropriate. TFTC
Had to go bush bashing with our bodies to get this one
Left a happy note for the next person
Left a happy note for the next person
Battled the bush, swiped the cobwebs and found a little bobtailed friend along the way Great hide! TFTC x
At first we thought we had chosen the wrong side to approach this one from but as it turned out we were in the perfect spot. Should have trusted our GPS a little more here as it knew exactly where this one was. We spent too long looking in all the wrong nearby spots.
Once we had dealt with the cache which was hidden in a perfect place we drove down to the beach. Must have had some rough seas as the road was blocked off and lots of beach debris was across it.
Noticed lots of large ships waiting their turn to come in to port. We will have to check out what they are waiting to load up with as they looked like ore carriers. We will probably find out though as we grab some more caches in town.
This was the last one for the morning before we headed off to the free camp spot in town. Hopefully we will be able to get the bikes off and attack some more caches this afternoon.
Thanks.

This was really fun and a exiting adventure finding this geocache thank you so much for making this
Took a shot at getting the smiley for this cache while doing a cache run with new friends Cravo10 & Barnzy12 after the GC791W8 - International Geocaching Day 2017 Event in Geraldton W.A.
Found on our first full day of our caching trip to Geraldton for the annual International Geocaching Day Event.
We arrived late Friday night, getting in just before midnight due to one of us finishing work about an hour later than planned! Stopping for a couple of simple Park and grabs along the way to keep our caching streak alive and enjoyed a quick feed for a late dinner in Jurien Bay.
We started the day with a bit of a later start after a small caching foray to find the new letterbox hybrid cache in town so we got up around 830 to start the caching day.
We curled up locally and headed around the suburb of Tarcoola, and had a large number of DNFs there, sitting around 40% find rate through the area, which was quite frustrating. We cached around the area attempting every cache on the Tarcoola Map before heading out to Bluff Point for the IGD event at the wintersun hotel, which we knew quite well having stayed there on our last trip whilst heading to the northwest.
We had a great pub lunch and enjoyed a cold beer whilst chatting to local cachers squash2 and reticbob regaling stories of some of the infamous caches around town that they either own of have had the pleasure of finding. Reticbob told us of his and others caches on the Moresby Range, which had only just been re enabled after the property changed hands.
We had to make tracks after the event to get the find rate up so teamed up with Team Ruphace who are from Melbourne but are staying in dongara and cached out bluff point with a significant amount of success before thinking we weren't that far from the Moresby Range so made the call to the land manager (this is a must - please respect this great spot so others can continue to enjoy it) and got the all OK to head to the northern side of the property, with the south off limits.
This would be my favourite part of our caching day, the Moresby Range is simply amazing, a MUST do if you come to Geraldton. Views forever. I won't say too much, you can get here and see it for yourself. Just please ring ahead (read the cache listings)
After the Moresby Range caches we headed back towards the centre of Geraldton where we kept finding cache after cache except for a few which need some serious CO attention. We managed to tick off a few nemesis caches including bluff point lighthouse, out and about erosion, tanked at the RSL and a few others, which was most satisfying.
We bid farewell to our companions after finding twenty odd caches together, which was most enjoyable and made finding it a bit easier with four sets of eyes at most caches.
We had a nice noodle dinner and got prepared to find a few more caches by torchlight around central Geraldton. The highlight of the evenings caching was another trip to the HMAS sydney memorial which is my favourite spot to visit in Geraldton. We followed the map around collecting the answers some of which I knew off the top of my head given my love of history and "the Sydney" we collected the puzzle cache for Cravo10 who somehow hadn't found it.
Overall a big day attempting around 60 caches with 40 finds, in around 12hours. Looking forward to finding some caches along the Chapman river tomorow on our final day of our short Geraldton getaway. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Out on IGD in Geraldton for the 3rd year in a row with Barnzy12.
We started the morning a little late compared to a usual geocaching weekend however we did only get into town at midnight so a 8.30 start was early enough!!
The morning started with a extremely poor Find rate at around 40% found. We then headed to the Event and enjoyed a pub lunch and a pint of beer and that would see the luck turn there after.
After the event we headed off with Team Ruphace Matthew and Cathy finding around 20 caches with them.
The highlight was following the lead of reticbob and getting the caches in Moresby Range, going through private land that offered sensational views.
Overall a great day out in Gero, looking forward to seeing some of you again soon at WA Goes Big in Rockingham on the 9th September

Found while enjoying an extended stay in Geraldton and picking up some smileys while I am here. An easy find just before the rain hit. TFTC.
Nice little spot this one so thanks for bringing us here rumpleteasers. Your cache is in good nick and all is well.
Headed out early this morning with iluvtrekking with Nanson and surrounds as our destination. Of course there were other various locations to explore along the way and some great caches. Thanks rumpleteasers
We had a wonderful day today exploring the countryside around Geraldton looking for history, flowers and caches.
Thanks for the cache rumpleteasers we made a quick find.

"Blown Away by the Bay View ??"
Sounds like a dodgy, on-line review of a cheap motel [:o]
So why was I here looking for a cache ??
Not much of a view unless you looked over the fence
And in less than three minutes I had found a cache
Just goes to show !!
Read the cache notes,
make up your own mind about them ...
... and a cache just appears
TFTC on a silly sort of day

Spending a couple of days in Geraldton and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see if I could tick some boxes on my 'Well-Travelled and Aged Cacher Challenge' [GC3TR3M](http://coord.info/GC3TR3M)
So a day trip was planned up to Kalbarri and back with a promise to the muggle wife and daughter of some fantastic sights. After a long day I think they were suitably impressed... geocaching ****does**** bring you to some interesting locations.
While they sat in the car admiring the view I went off to try and locate the cache. After about ten minutes I had to call it quits.
rumpleteasers I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 8 finds today so all is not lost.
TFTH
I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Pinjarra at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2016' event on the 4th - 5th June. Registrations now open.
Check it out at [GC5YAGP](http://coord.info/GC5YAGP)

Lots of wrong places to look here, the name of the cache helped us solve this one.
West Australia 2016 trip. Day 20. Northampton to Freemantle. A nice coastal drive via Geraldton. I was hoping to get a GCA cache here, but it was not there, so I will have to settle on the GC cache.
Thanks.

We were a bit perplexed by this one to start with but managed to get it finally . Managed to avenge my DNF from last year too
The jinta mob decided to head north to Geraldton for the third time to celebrate International Geocaching Day! We grabbed a variety of caches along the way and this was one of them. A great weekend away and we can't wait until next year.
