Logs
Found this one! Very cute end of the cache container. I can understand why I was struggling to find it last time. TFTC
I knew I must close to wear the cache should be but I only found one pencil . CO might want to check. Not my day. Third DNF in a row
Found a little finger puppet sitting near by and attached it to the top of the cache container, we signed the log and added a sticker, awesome hint, definitely helped TFTF
Thanks to the hint this wasn't too hard. As per previous logs, this was on the floor in the grass. We have left it there, not sure if that's where it's meant to be?
Grateful for a quick find as the thunder is rolling closer. Out with Buzz21b in the humid day. Log was pretty damp and container on the floor - not sure of this is it's home or not. TFTC!
The hint was helpful here and enabled a quick find. Doing Fernleigh track on the bike and grabbing a couple caches on the way. TFTC
pedal pedal pedal...
Today was my first outing on the bike since busting my ribs. Seems some exercise was required Good coords made most of the (popular) Track finds fairly easy. There were a few doozys in the mix Later in the day I met the CO on the way back. It was most satisfying to get the wind in my face as I hammered the trail.

LEST WE FORGET
I was after a good number of finds as well as a good walk today, so decided to start the *Fernleigh Track* series at Belmont.
Also, being ANZAC Day, I was looking for an appropriately themed cache as well. Unfortunately, of the two appropriate caches nearby, I was only only able to find one of them. But that's better than none.
Got ten caches plus an AL location and a nice walk with only two DNFs.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Relatively quick find, hidden from the muggles on the main track.
Signed, replaced and time to head back via the other track to the other two caches here. I'll attack the next section of the Fernleigh track from the other side at some point in the future.

After attending the Fernleigh event organized by Geocaching NSW, it was time to mount our bikes and cycle our way from Adamstown to Belmont. It was a slow descending track, and the dedicated bicycle path over the former railroad track made for a very enjoyable ride, and we could enjoy the nature around the track.
After lunch at Lake Mac, it was time to cycle back to Adamstown. But slowly uphill with head wind proved to be quite tiring.
To release out aching muscles we stopped for a few caches along the way.

Last day in Newcastle and the plan of getting 200+ caches and my 4,000th had fallen thru. But with the rain teeming down, we didn't want to cancel our usual morning holiday routines of my wife going for a long run and me geocaching. As such, we both braved the weather and headed out. Both come home completely soaked through too, complaining who was wettest. It was me...
This morning I selected the Fernleigh Track at Belmont thinking it would be quiet in the rain. Maybe quieter than normal, but still a lot of people at 7 am.
Right on 7am and I finally get my first find of the day, and it's disabled. The Huntsman spider was enjoying hiding in the hole in the pole while I looked for the cache. Eventually found it in a place I had already looked.
Thanks for the cache Colleda

Unfortunately the log is mush but I’ve wrapped it around the pencil to make for easier extraction. I did manage to write on it but it’s literally falling apart. Found with the help of the helpful hint TFTC
Found with kaylamaree4 TFTC couldn’t sign log needs replacing. Had to turn back due to weather and fading light will continue caching another day.
We are holidaying with Domsky and took advantage of the cooler, overcast day to do a nice walk and get some caches on the way. All the caches found, especially at the beginning, were tricky hides which took a bit of searching.
This one was a little soggy and may need replacement soon.
Thanks for this lovely series along a great walk!

This was another very well hidden container.
It took a little searching, but with four sets of eyes, we soon had this one logged.
The walk through this beautiful forest is peaceful, although it would be fair to say we were accompanied by the singing of birds for the entire walk.
Thanks colleda

Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Walked the AL from Belmont to Redhead grabbing what caches I could on the way back. Coordinates pointed in the right spot and the cache was found after a little search. TFTC
Find #1442
I’ve day for a walk in the sunshine, bit windy though. Nice quick find. Container in good condition. Log book dry. TFTCSL Thanks for placing colleda

I had a couple of DNFs today. I often go caching by myself, so this sometimes happens, no extra eyes to guard against cache blindness (or me simply stuffing things up and not looking in the right spots). Had a good search through the long grasses and the little fence thing, and again on the 'way back', but enjoyed my stroll today all the same. Thanks for the hunt.
This one was super easy to find as it was right out in the open and very obvious, it's a wonder it wasn't spotted and removed by muggles. We covered it up with some natural camo when we put it back, so it is better hidden. TFTC
Overseas ATM. Will need to check condition of fire damaged GZ when I get home next week.
Due to the recent fires the track has been closed and due to be reopened "early next week", according to the news media. This cache was in the fire zone. I will check on its condition when the track reopens.
Took a little search but found without too much trouble. TFTC!! Nice area. #1653
This was a quick find, by madrabbitoh who zeroed straight onto gz. I was down the other end, searching methodically each one. We stumbled on a little lizard, just sitting on the wire, enjoying the sunshine. I am thinking it was a Gecko, Google is saying a Gehyra?? Anyway, cache found.
TFTC Colleda.

In an attempt to find all the geocaches along the Fernleigh Track, I Strapped on my helmet and jumped on the mountain bike, and off we go. Parked the car at Dudley and headed south, but Colledas hides can prove rather tricky, and I must look suspicious to other riders with some of the looks that I was getting. Tftc, visited TBs.
