This gets a favourite due to the fact little Miss 2 finally let us put her in backpack carrier and we were able to go to a lookout without any tears. TFTC
Walking the Heysen Trail from Parachilna to Quorn. Thought I needed some souvenir cashes! TFTC.
Looking forward to our walk in the pound today - didnt bring a pen so will send a pic to owner
I was walking around in circles, until the GPS finally found its groove. Tftc
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 19-7-2024 TFTC. Very cold.
Very quick and easy find. Good for beginners. Coordinates were spot on. Thanks to the owner
Found it on a freezing cold 8 degree windy July day, but still fun. Thanks for the Cache
Quick visit after looking at the NAIDOC Week Art Exhibition. Found with Bosco13. TFTC
Freezing cold and raining today. Quickly stopped here in the way back to our accomodation. TFTC
Took a few minutes as I felt I should look at the Solar power station, too bad the Diesel generator was running. TNLN TFTC
O. Our travels we found ourselves in Wilpena pound and took the Otto grab this cache, a nice quick find thanks for placing it
Four nights in the Flinders Range NP and teh souroundings. So mch to do and see. We stoppt at some Geocaches. This is one we are able to log a found. Thank you for the cache.
This is quite an old and modest size solar array by today's standards. It has served it purposed very well. Thanks Freddo.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way. We headed off on a round trip from Hawker to Blinman. The scenery was stunning. We also enjoyed the history of the area. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and now in the Flinders Ranges. We haven’t been further than Hawker on previous trips and are in awe of the stunning scenery. Thanks for the hide.
Mr DunWorking searched but he couldn't find the Cache. "Don't make me come out there" I yelled but in the end I had to go help. He found it when I explained the hint and then found he was barking up the wrong tree. We both got covered in a Billion Prickles for our trouble and it ended up taking us longer to DePrickle ourselves than it did to find and sign the Cache.
Thank you for the cache, great find while visiting one of my favorite locations in SA.
Found just on sunset as the solar power was winding down

Quick find, and though our legs were tired from a big hike, we did the walk to the observation area. TFTC
Last lookout for the day after a few beautiful hikes and exploring Old Wilpena Station. Nice to see were the electricity for Wilpena resort comes from. Nicely hidden in a valley. Walking over here we saw some kangaroes hopping away. TFTC
Thanks again Freddo. A bit warm for me to climb up even a medium slope to the top but this was very doable. Cache is in good condition. Dry as a bone and there has been some horrendous rain in the past couple of days. If someone has a smallish plastic ziploc bag that would be good. TNLN. TFTC.
TFTC! After a mini tornado came through Hawker last night I wondered how this cache would be, but it’s safe and dry!
Some wind generators would work well on a day like today. Cache and contents dry. TFTH
Thanks for the terrific info and the walk. The EvilQueen enjoyed the extra info of the area.
The return trip of our epic Flinders expedition with Mattycat and Perfect DI had us at Hawker for a couple of nights, found whilst being watched by quite a few grazing kangaroos on sunset

30 June 2022 11:35. Found with Hearse068 while camping with camping buddies on our Flinders Ranges school holidays trip. Thanks Freddo the Frog for the cache.
After camping for a couple of nights at Wilpena Pound, I stopped on our way out to find the cache. Interesting information about the energy system here and great to see that solar powers the village (mind you we did have an unpowered site)

Go solar! Love the landscape here and in awe of this ancient landscape. Out of trusty treadles aka MTB exploring and caching! Day 10 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges and it’s caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game. Fave for a fab spot and longevity
Quick find and sign whilst checking out Wilpena Pound. The hint should now read Dead George dubbleya. TFTC Freddo
