We've never ventured far off State Highway 1,so heading up as far as Maungati picking up a few Caches along the way The 1st stop was here and quickly spotted it..It's a bit damp but could sign our name..TFTH
Out for the day in the back blocks of Waimate for a days caching, glad the floodwaters have receeded. Great day out and some more to come back to another day. Apologies for the generic logging. TFTC!
Great day for an outing! And once I left SH1, I did not see many signs of live civilization, only saw 3 cars and 1 tractor. On the other hand, I spotted 4 magnificent hawks and had an almost continuous view of the mountains! Thank you for a nice tiki tour. TFTC!!
I wanted to get a few caches nortwest of Waimate and today was the day.
I noticed the signpost spells Gray different to that on the cache page.
Cheers for the cache.

#18249. We were pleased to find that the viney-looking things weren't blackberry. After looking in a number of locations I was pleased to spot the cache in its lair. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day one of a 4 day trip down south to Oamaru, a consolation holiday for us, as in a COVID-19 free world, we would currently be in Seattle .
GZ looked a bit daunting, as there was rampant periwinkle plus lots of fallen leaves (fortunately dry), but after a few minutes searching SW tracked down the cache. TFTC.

My phone had us going through the blackberry on the wrong side of the road. surely not. Turned out to be a very easy find after all. Gk signed the log and returned it to where he had found it. Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley.
A nice quick find here as I make my way back to the main higway after a wee drive around the lovely countryside. TFTC # 13,905
We were staying at a friend very close by and had to find this one. Quick find once there TFTC
Heading to Geraldine for a holiday with a few planned detours along the way. A nice quick find here. TFTC
A quick and easy find, a grey weather sort of day, so out and about finding random caches! Thanks
Quick park and grab. Decided against the ford in my wee car. Too much water! Cache is a bit damp inside but able to sign log. Thanks for the hide.
Day 2 of my mini roadtrip travelling around Timaru on way to Christchurch. Also only a couple of days left to complete my 2016 new years resolution - reach 2000 by the end of the year (fell 35 short but I didn't just go for park and grabs).
Had my muggle friend who comes caching with me along for today as she now lives in Timaru area and through hunting for this and few other caches she's seen more of her new town over the last 24hrs.
Thank you for this cache. All in good condition.

More long, wet, grass to negotiate before we could make the find. Found with AorakiSheep.
A farmer in a huge tractor drove past just as we emerged from the trees, he gave us a friendly wave and carried on. Found with debsnz
Found it after a bit of a hunt and a couple of holes there was no way I was putting in there
Loving the roller coaster roads on a perfect Sunday afternoon quick find tftc #5
Another country road intersection that some how merits it's day in history. A bit of gardening was required before I had the log in my hand.
On our way from ChCh to Oamaru - not the direct way but we wanted to tidy up this area. Thanks
A day between Oamaru and Timaru. Found a few I'd tried (and failed!) before, and a good number of new ones. Always enjoy caching in this part of the country. Thanks.
Signed log, then a blat over the ford try wash off some of cow shit and mud that is on many roads round here at the moment.
Thanks Bitsprayer

Had a weekend in Timaru, so did a bit of caching in around the town. A quick find. Thanks for the hide.
Another good P&G. Could have driven over the ford today in a 2wd (and as a local did). I'd planned the trip so we didn't have too, just in case...
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found (0ver 600 in 8 days)

Found after putting on gloves and having a good rummage through the wet grass and leaves
First day of the school holidays, a-caching we will go. Nice quick find to start the day. TFTC
Very surprised to be FTF. Thought we would go and get the other new ones in the area too now that we are here but made a mess of where to cross the river and ended up driving back to here to cross. LOL
