Neighbour putting in new fence. Looks like cache has gone with all the work that he is doing.
While staying with some friends in Pukekohe I figured I'd go on a small excursion up to the Manukau Heads. I was on my way back and decided on a couple of sneaky caches while there was still some light left. This took way longer when it should have but the mosquito's got a good feed out of it. Well buried - replaced as found - cheers nzguy TFTC
Out and about taking advantage of a free afternoon to find hides around rural south west Auckland. It's nice to blow the cobwebs away with a drive in the countryside. Not the best weather for it as there is cold wind blowing.I don't think I have been to Waiuku for 6 years, so time to find the caches placed since my last visit. I parked up and made the short walk to GZ. I made an instant find here as the cute little container was out in the open. However, the log is mush and unsignable. This one really needs some TLC from the CO, I would politely suggest. I returned and applied some natural camo. Cheers for the cache placement!
There were a few muggles around but when the coast was clear we were pleased to make a quick find.
Unfortunately the log is too wet to sign but we can send a photo as proof of the find if needed.
Nice hiding spot. TFTC.

I was glad to see that the weather finally was going to be good today after a week full of rain and cold. So I made the decision to drive to Manukau heads and visit a couple of Geocaches. I could find them all except for one and I really enjoyed the beautiful landscapes out in nature!
Last find on a long Geocaching day. In meantime it was turning dark but I could spot the Cache quick. However the logbook was so wet that I couldn't add my logentry. See picture attached.
Thanks for hiding this one!

Tiny container. Found easily thanks .
Needs maintenance though as can't sign paper.
Too wet .

Too wet .
Found but because it hasn't been covered up at all log book was found on the ground a metre away from cache. Needs maintainence, may have been found by muggles, TFTC.
Easy find, but contents soaking wet. Gave it a bit of a wipe and dry but couldn't sign
Found on an evening stroll through Waiuku together with Greenkiwikids. Lots of mozzies, you are right, though there are a little less now . Nice and easy find. Logbook is very wet, not signable, but we didn't have a spare one with us. We left a very nice swap for the next one to find, though... Tftc
Was out in about today and after having dinner at Sandspit park, I headed straight for the cache . After 5 minutes the cache was soon found. Unable to sign log today due to wet log, so I uploaded a proof of find photo instead . Thanks for the cache nzguy . TFTC!!!
Out in the general area as there were 3 new caches published this morning. After finding those with thejaybees we stopped for some coffee and foodfuel before working our way around the local area for some more caches.
Found pretty much in the open with hardly any cover so signed log (as best as I could...its quite wet) and then hid it back under cover where it had been found.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick find. Miss 8 was more interested in the fun vine climbing adventure than caching. Nice nook for a hide. Log is waterlogged so pen wouldn’t sign. Left a swap item though
Lovely evening stroll along the estuary while staying close by. Thx for a wee smilie.
A beautiful day, so I decided to go for a drive around the peninsular and grab a few easy drivebys and walkbys. Thanks.
2833 Picked up container and walked down to the water where I signed it before returning to its hide on the way back to the car.
I wandered from the sailing club,
along the foreshore,
and up the leafy laneway to reach the end of Shanley
On a calm morning there was only the distant roar of the power station to break the silence
A likely tree was found and searched.

Found it! Was looking for clear container until I read the comment about it now being in an eclipse tin!
Replaced container with a eclipse tin with log at base of the tree for the cache owner

Came by this dead end street. Soon spotted the tree but he gave up the goodies when I asked him nicely...
I had to be quick to replace the cache after signing it as I heard muggles coming.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Quick grab after a BBQ in the nearby park. Cache was uncovered when we got here but we have covered it well when rehiding. TFTC!
Here for my cousins wedding and thought would have a look for some caches found a couple here at this beautiful spot. Awesome day catching up with the family and bonus getting a cache in

12.25pm. A quick find while walking back from the Sandspit.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Took the grandchildren for a swim and they had a great time with the slide in the water. Took a little while as the clue threw us off as we were leaving the big tree alone. Found it and the kids were real happy. The log is chocka block full but we managed to sign at the very top. Sorry didnt have my spare logs with me. Log does need replacing. Cheers.
An easy find. Thought we would stop by and find this one while in the area. TFTC
Out for a drive this afternoon and this one was our first stop. Found the cache quickly and signed the log down by the waters edge. Thanks for showing us this spot and TFTC!
Today hoped to find enough caches to reach 3300 finds. Falling short of goal today as we were beaten by the rain, dark and the number of repairs we have done.
1.15pm - Quick find, able to park right beside it. SLTFTC

Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are a long way from home... We are pushing into Franklin District today and looking for caches to put towards some Geocaching Challenges... We also hope to reach some personal milestones too...
The day turned out to be more of a rescue mission. So many caches we visited required maintenance or total replacement. The state of some caches and the frequency in which maintenance was carried out by us was quite alarming. Luckily, we came prepared.
The cache hint was obviously reverse psycology... A nice placement in a pleasant neighbourhood. TFTC.

Our first find caching as a married couple. Just moved to the area and was lovely to find this spot. Easy find. Swapped and logged. TFTF - Dibley Duo
Had to wait for some muggles to come up the track before searching for this one. Nice little spot. TFTC
Easy find once again thanks guys needs another log book so we logged it on the back
An interesting appendage for a tree! TFTC On our way back from the heads. Needed a nice easy find after circumstances prevented us from finding any of the Awitu Peninsula ones.
Easily found while visiting relatives in Waiuku. TFTC!
