I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi nodo
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Rat baiting and trapping occurring at GZ. Maybe it's possible that the container is gone. Did a fair search on the way out and again on the return journey.
Tftc found quickly, log book too wet to sign tho. Enjoying the walk! Gorgeous day today
We were in Mangawhai Heads for the weekend (sans kids) so could try a decent walk. Due to the tide coming in, we decided to walk the beach/rocks first and the track on the way back. Found this cache not quite at the hint. Mentioned this to C.O. All good here. TFTC
Out for a Cliff walk to find some caches.
This one was tricky. I initially searched the side path reading and rereading all the info. Eventually I expanded my search onto the main path and yay there it was. TFTC

I’ve been wanting to do this walk for a long time, especially as it had a few caches along the way I’m staying nearby for a few days so this was the first activity of the day. I timed it so I could do the loop back along the beach.
I saw the previous cachers logged DNF but it’s definitely still there... it just needed a bit of digging in the under growth TFTC!

We are planning to do the Tongario Crossing late February and as we are a little unfit have planned various walks that also have a few caches along the way to get our fitness up.
So today with Keylev, Cragger and Laval (and a few non caching friends) we completed the Mangawhai Clifftop walk. Our intention was to do the complete loop but as we wanted some more hill work we ended up do the return trip up over the cliff again!
We spent a lot of time here searching but even with all our eyes we had no luck!

Out for the day with NZ Travellers and my geo-kids cragger and laval. Also had a muggle along for the first time. Whilst only 9.5kms return from the carpark it was deceptively harder than we anticipated but was lots of fun.
No luck at this location for us unfortunately.

Enjoyed today around Mangawhai the landscape, caches coffee and company from tramyard. TFTC
Adventure Saturday with SOLRAC TWO in Manghawai Heads area. Another quick find while here. TFTC
Found on an afternoon walk with the family. Nephews and nieces enjoyed the hunt. Good hints and views along the way.
Found but only when we read the amended hint in the logs.Explained what we were doing to a French polynesian couple. Greetings from Scotland and TFTC
Thankfully found this one as was worried I wouldn’t. As one of the girls I was with said “thankfully we aren’t a snake country!” as I carelessly rustled through the undergrowth. Tftc
This one took a little longer to find than most of the others. However with a limited number of spots I eventually uncovered it. We found the signs here a little confusing especially the suggested time frames which appeared pretty inflated.
Enjoying Labor Day exploring Langs Beach, The McKenzie Trail and Mangawhai Clifftop Walkway collecting geocaches along the way. TFTC
We stopped here for a snack during our family walk along the cliff top track, so I had a bit of a fossick about in the undergrowth - but nothing jumped out at me - leaves us something to look for next time! Thanks anyway!
took a few attempts at trees then tried a different approach at it was very near the first location. enjoying our walk
With Lemmer in New Zealand at amazing caches. Thank you for showing all that beautiful places. flatrate
It was foun in the bush beside the last bush. We did not have a pen with us so we took a picture ofthe log and send to the owner
Such a busy corner today. After people decided to setup for a break i decided to give up waiting and moved on without the find.
Today we are doing this beautiful hiking trail. Thanks a lot for the boxes on the way and greetings from Switzerland.
Long weekend, great weather and tides perfect to go for a walk along this amazing track. Went in reverse direction along beach to the end then up the track. Loads and loads of muggles round. As last cacher reported this cache is very exposed to those coming from cove rd track. Not so exposed from cliff top walk. Found as per hint. Log signed and replaced best we could. Tftc.
The weather was just right, so I took two days to go up to Waipu to get in some Geocaching. Also, I wanted to make sure all my camping gear was in order for next month's Mega in Wellington.
This one was the most exposed of the series. I just hope muggles keep their eyes on the track. TFTC.

Found with Ozwalker while on a geowalk aiming to find all the caches along the Mangawhai Clifftop Walkway. Track in good condition and great sea views. Walked the loop returning via the beach. Thanks nodo.

The caching stats for May were looking a bit sad, so a plan was hatched to grab a break in the weather and walk the magnificent Mangawhai Cliff Top Walkway today and try for the 11 caches there. Headed off this morning and after a 60 km detour for an FTF, I made it to Mangawhai a bit later than expected.
Because of this, I decided to walk along the beach first and do the caches in reverse order. The wind was still very blustery and cool, but I was amazed at the number of muggles who were still out on the beach and doing the walkway.
This was the fourth one I looked for today and after reading some of the other logs and searching a little away from the hint location, was quickly found. No problems with muggles this time around. TFTC

Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. On our second day we decided to complete the Mangawhai clifftop walk. We read previous logs and expanded our search area. Added a new plastic bag for the log.
We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Stunning weather today and lots of people walking the trail. Had to widen our search a little to find this one. Log is ok but the plastic bag was disgusting, so we put the log into a new plastic bag.
Really a splendid walk!
But this box was so rotten we did not dare to touch.
Therefore fotolog.
Needs maintenance!

Started looking in the wrong place, but had it to hand when we widen our search. Perhaps another tree/bush has grown since cache was placed!
We were lucky enough to be offered a lovely house at beautiful Mangawhai Beach for a relaxing weekend, and the Cliff Walk was highly recommended to us with good reason. A beautiful day, great views and a fun rock walk back along the beach...with caches! This one was further away from where I was initially checking but my companion was determined to find it and wandered back a wee way and there it was. Tftc
Der Weg an der Küste ist herrlich.Viele Grüße vom Team Schlaue Pfote aus Deutschland
I didn't found the cache when we go up the hill but it was very easy when we come back. TFTC
Looked in likely spots for a bit then read description on GPSr and realised it might not be quite where we thought. We were with my muggle uncle and his wife today and this turned out to be her first cache find! Think she enjoyed that. Then we stopped to have a bite to eat since we'd missed lunch, and a few photos of the sign and view for good measure. Keeping it interesting nodo.
Enjoying this very scenic walk even though the weather turned drizzly. Thanks nodo, all the placements were straight forward finds, coordinates were good, the containers were of a generous size and all the log books were in sound condition. Just how a geo-trail like this should be. Satisfying to reach the highest point. A favourite for this one and the series.
About 6 metres off we reckon but the caches are big enough to find without too much trouble
Can see the end just.... It got very hot as the afternoon went on. Thanks for bringing us here
Walked this clifftop walk and back via the beach, managed to find all in this series. Stopped off for lunch, so after a roll and in between muggles we found this quickly, thanks
Today we walked the Mangawhai Clifftop Walkway and then back on the beach if possible due to tide. It is a very nice walkway that we enjoyed a lot and we were lucky, too. We arrived just in the moment as the “gate” opened for the way back at the beach.
Certainly we sought for the caches along our way, too. We found this one right away at 11:40 am.
Thanks for the hide.

Headed out to Mangawhai today to grab some caches The top priority was the cliff top caches.
When mum heard where I was going she decided to tag alone so we got up early, packed some food and hopped in the car. 1h 20min later we were at the carpark and on our way.
Onward! TFTC

It was here that I realized that I could return by the beach route - I had been thinking that I need to return via the same path, and was wondering if I should be finding every other cache. The cache wasn't in the first spot I checked, but after looking in several spots from different angle, I was able to spot a bit of the familiar white container. Thanks for the cache!

Found with no problem, very nice surroundings. No more TB in cache.
Thank you for the cache and greetings from two Czechs!

Due to tidal times we decided to walk along the beach the do this series backwards. After a couple of DNF's we were beginning to think it would be best to just enjoy the views the. We found this one. What an amazing panoramic view from up here. Well worth our visit from the UK. TFTC
Very nice. Lovely surprise inside! Many thanks to the lovely people who left it. (We left it for the next people too!)
We've done this walk before but that was before we started caching. This time also with Miss Davieland (6). Cache was quickly found with GPS and the hint. TFTC.
