Nope I couldn't find anything either including the steak and mushroom pie. I had the apple pie and ice cream. Delicious.

25-May-15
Whilst devouring a late lunch after a days caching, had a quick look but could not find this one despite being there with a previous finder.

08-Feb-15
An easy find, just realised that I had forgotten to log this one.

01-Feb-15
Didn't have a pie. Had a great sausage roll instead.

19-Jan-15
A quick walk around and the pie ingredient was found .. thanks

10-Jan-15
This cache has moved three times since I started caching, And now I finally found it. T
his place is a good place to stop after a day out canyoning along the Bells Line of Road. Unfortunately by the time I get back here after a day trip, the pies have all sold out! Not surprising by how many people frequent the place now. Enough for the need of outdoor seating places.
Thanks for the cache.

14-Dec-14
Found it! Popped in for a coffee after a wander around with isolation.

14-Dec-14
Looked for this one ages ago when it was in its original location, but no luck at that stage. Heading home from Sunny Corner today with Misscricklewood, and stopped in for a couple of pies. We decided to check the status of this one and found its location had changed. A quick search had CIH. Please forgive our dodgy signing attempt, bit of a pen malfunction Smile

Very quick easy find Smile then went in to visit josh in the shop and buy pies and coffee! Freshly baked pies and pasties had just come out of the oven! The aroma was delicious to say the least Smile TFTC and an early lunch Smile

27-Oct-14
I had to fight off the snails for the mushroom pie today. Needless to say it wasn't much off a fight and the cache was mine.
Thanks GazMag

15-Oct-14
As suggested by the cacheowner, we went inside and introduced ourselves to Josh and asked wether we had to look inside or outside for the cache. He said yeah...and that's true of course..there are no other options...inside or outside. So we went back outside and noticed a mushroom..the rest is history..smile

thanks for the cache..we moved on without a pie..we already had one earlier on the route.

Thankfully, I didn't need Josh's help today as the establishment was closed. The cache was quickly found but we went hungry as we'd been hoping to pick up some lunch here as well.

Nice one, thanks GazMag.

Nice sneaky hide! Had to PAF for a hint then gotcha.

11-Jul-14
We've been to Pie in the Sky many times before. Knowing the goodness that waited, we tried to rush this one, but it had us lost for a little while. We accidentally found the container (almost impossibly sneaky camouflage) and then rushed back for a hot steak, bacon and cheese pie. TFTC.

02-Jul-14
Stopped to get pie and hot chocolate after a day of canyoning with PPE. Nice easy find with the hint. Thanks Gazmag for making us stop here for one of the nicest, yummiest pies ever eaten. And TFTCM

I was heading up to the Capertee Valley and wanted to convert my blue frownie into a yellow smiley on this hide. My GPSr was bouncing a bit and I couldn't pinpoint a GZ so used the hint to great advantage. Within a short amount of time I had the sneaky camouflage in my hand. Extracting the cache container did take a bit of effort but my muggle mate helped and we soon had the cache container removed. After signing the log the container was returned but I left it out a bit so as to make it easier for the next finder to extract it. A nice little micro hide GazMag. Thanks mate.

Found it well camoed. Nice hide Gaz Mag... Very sneeky! Mr thunderbox put his hand on it straight away this time.tftc

After seven (7) DNFs I thought it about time I checked on the one.

The cache is there, where I placed it. I have included a clue which may assist.

I also check the coordinates and all seemed well.

Spent a little while looking for this one without luck. Given the density of the area and myriad if options a hint would be good Smile

25-Apr-14
After enjoying a delicious pie at the shop I strolled across the road to find the cache. GPS was bouncing and after 15 min no find was found. I will definitely be back for more pie though!

08-Mar-14
Took a drive for some pies, and decided to have another look for this one .............spent about 15 mins...to no avail (might have been out of practice) ....a DNF for us. For anyone visiting this spot make sure you try an apple pie with ice cream! They Rock! (Maybe try the cache before the pie though, cause the reverse did not work for us)

Out and about on a rainy day... Spent a fair bit of time on this one with Gpskyp, but no luck. Looked in many obvious and sneaky places, but did not find :/

27-Jan-14
Spent over half an hour, but with GZ being on the western side of the road I thought I knew where to look, but nothing - except a decrepit rusty barbed wire fence.

Deleted last log.
Too difficult for us this afternoon, might request a hint for next time. TFTH

Bugger!! Another visit with slightly more time to search and STILL came up empty handed! I got out my GPSr and it took me straight to where I was searching yesterday, the old tall tree stump! I had another look around there and widened my search to include the fence posts on the corner. I even had a close look at the power pole. I pass here periodically on my way to my mate's property out in the Capertee Valley so will definitely be stopping by again! Stop laughing GazMag!!

23-Nov-13
I was on my way to the Capertee Valley and thought I'd have a quick look for this one as I passed. I didn't even turn the GPSr on. I searched around the old (tall) tree stump but nothing jumped out at me. Needing to be gone I thought I would have another look on my return journey tomorrow.

Fantastic friendly folk in the restaurant across the road curious about our goings on. Highly recommend dropping in and grabbing a bite. And brilliant cache too.

16-Oct-13
So glad this was my 200th find..... The cache its self was a quick grab after reading the logs and willing to check everything, it was the first thing we picked up. Then went across to the pie in the sky for a bite to eat, and the owners were curious about what we were looking for..... funny that they hadn't asked before, considering the cache is named after their shop..... lovely people and just an awesome place. Thanks for bringing me here.

Reperio at 0730.

This was another stop made on the way from Mt Vic to Western Sydney today, and although the cache was quickly spotted, I loved the way it was made. Very nicely done. Haven't stopped at the Pie In The Sky before, so maybe one day soon.

PPE pulled up opposite the pie shop but a nice hot breakfast pie was not to be; we were far too early. We did find this neatly disguised geocache though. Nice work GazMag, thanks.

An early run this morning to head up to the Blue Mountains for my 2000th cache. Grabbed a few 'quickies' running through Rouse Hill, Riverstone, Richmond and up the Bells Line of Road. SL and replaced. Great camo, took me a little while, but after trying from another angle, saw something that looked good. Well done again GazMag, a FAV from me for this one. TFTC.

Spotted this one straight away once i arrived at gz. Nice camo

Tempted to get a pie but didn't quite have enough room after lunch at Jenolan Caves. Very busy road this afternoon being long weekend but we managed to cross it safely. Nice camo.

Way too many people at 13:00 on the Sunday of the Queens Birthday long weekend.
I wandered over but looked too conspicuous with approx 20-30 people outside and inside packed.
Any had a nice pie and coffee. Will look next time.

Our 7th cache find up along the Bells Line after leaving the morning event in Windsor.

We were lucky to nab in at the second place we looked and appreciate the effort gone into the hide.
The micro sheet was penciled at 10.30 am and we returned it to its home.

Many thanks for rest stop with coffees and muffins .We gave it a " favourite tick " for the pie shop, scenic drive , top location and crafty hide .Recommended stop all round.

A park and grab, with a tricky hide thrown in. Toriaz and bikerbuddy watched from afar but I made the find fairly quickly. I also avoid the pies and other goodies across the road, no matter how appealing the sign was.

TFTC.

Another cache bites the dust... Doing well today with 3 set of eyes helps. TFTC

19-May-13
A bit of luck on this one! Just purely by accident I had my hands on the cache, while I was looking for something else! Sometimes the caching gods are just with you! Having a couple more sets of eyes helps as wel.

#1963- bikerbuddy tells me that the GPS was much closer initially today when I investigated this one, than when he was here the other day. But I still needed a lot of prompting to find this one. I needed help, but I didn't need to PAF, just to ask, luckily. Thanks GazMag- very well done. Any other hints for the one up the road?

18-May-13
Needed help with this one- very tricky!

Dad helped us out with this- nasty! But then also kind of easy when you see it.

Joint FTF with Toriaz at 6:43 am

Toriaz asked me last week whether I would go with her to do Gazmag's Lowlands cache series. I had just completed all but one of the published caches, but I said I was happy to accompany her, especially if I could redeem the DNF. Then Gazmag published more in that series, so I had added incentive.

We decided to leave early to look for this cache first, however. Strangely, it had had no DNF logs or finds. We thought we might have a chance for a FTF before heading back to the plains.

I visited Pie in the Sky with my father late last year - he lives in Kurrajong Heights - so I knew where we were heading. That didn't help at all for the cache hunt, however. I was glad we chose an early time so there was no one around. We searched quite a few places to no avail. We came up with a few guesses. They were equally useless. But after being there for a while my GPS began to consistently point to one spot that seemed logical. Toriaz agreed and came over to search and she quickly found the cache.

Thanks Gazmag. It was difficult, but the first of three FTFs on your caches today.

Joint FTF with bikerbuddy!

Our main goal for the morning was the Lowlands series, but I noticed on Friday that there were still no finds on this one, so we decided to head to it first before heading back to the lowlands area.

It was just starting to get light when we got there, and hardly any traffic, so we could search in peace. At first our GPS's were indicating one area, so that was where we concentrated our search. But eventually bikerbuddy noticed his was consistently pointing towards another area. I checked mine, and realised it was also pointing that way. So we shifted our focus & eventually I spotted something that I thought should be checked further & came up with the find.

A very sneaky one, so we were very happy to find it. The blank log was a bonus Big Grin.

Thanks GazMag Smile.
