No luck for me today. Might have been better if I didn't pick a busy Saturday morning to look.
Second try after a couple if years....no luck. GPS takes us to the corner of the wall. Need help if it us in the round about GPS is way off.
No luck. Our GZ was on the fence .
Blackrat1414 - jinta29 had to DNF your cache BlackRat's "Round A Bout" 1 on 23/08/2015 10:58 am. I searched but didn't find the cache

Third time lucky. The CO took pity on me and laid a trail of bread crumbs. And there it was. Very glad to get a smiley here at last. TFTC
I will log a DNF here unfortunately. My GPS was telling me that GZ was over near the wall. ??? I reverted to Cache radar and I could not get that working properly, I think because I felt to exposed. I will return later with backup.
No luck here, felt a bit conspicuous so didn't search too long. Thanks anyway I'll return when it's a bit darker!
Took a little while to find this one. Once I ran my eyes over the cache I knew exactly where it was though. I like the idea of this cache. Have not seen another one like this as yet.
Was on a mission to get some numbers today so seeing we have cleaned up down south it was time to come North . I managed to get 34 with no DNFs but the temp manage to stop me as it rose above the 44 mark .....
I found this one very quick and the geo wife was amazed when I called her. The coord's were spot on TFTC blackrat and a fav point your way.

Had a few hours this afternoon to cycle around the area. I drove what seemed like a mammoth distance to reach the area before the cycle actually began. It was easy to remember why I rarely head up this far north; packed lunch territory for me. Great to clean up a prior DNF. Thanks for the cache Blackrat1414.
TFTC! Out caching around wanneroo an area I rarely get time to visit. Thought I best make the most of this little honey hole. Thanks
The goal this morning was to find all of the caches in Joondalup suburb and we ended up finding 27 so not a bad effort. We spent ages looking for this one but eventually found it. One of my favourites from todays outing. tftc.
We spent our morning finding 27 caches, for my father (ask277) wanted me to help reach this goal with him. We had six of us searching for each cache. It was very eventful morning, with a cache around each corner. This one was just one of our caches for the day and was a excellent cache to add to our mix. TFTC.
I joined ask277's team bright and early this morning as our goal was to find 27 caches by lunchtime (yes, we succeeded! We spent a looong time looking for this one (in lots of different places!) and were thinking of giving up, but then found it. Very original! Deserves a favourite point from me. TFTC Blackrat1414
Wow! my number 300 cache. Found the cache easily this time. Needs some attention. SL TFTC Blackrat.
Rode around a few caches in the area had some luck - but not here - a bit too much going on. Will watch it and try again soon TFTH
HALLELUJAH! At last! Oh this one has been bugging me for so long.
We first looked semi half heartedly after a spate of DNFs and thus weren't hopeful of a find. Being unsure whether to follow the GPS or the title we soon gave up and headed home.
After a little clarification from the CO, Mrs O went back for a LONG search which eventually ended up in searching with Ooh Yeh and co. We found an old cache and I trotted off home for some better retrieval tools but alas it turns out it was an archived cache and no log was to be found.
The CO surely had a titter when he heard that little saga but it gets funnier.
Not long after I think it was Richlink who found it and I got the email notification that it had been found..... 'NOOOOOOOOO - I'm being taunted' was the cry heard from our house. So a few days later I find myself cycling past with a friend. I can't help but glance over to see if there is any evidence of richlink's movements/find. In the meantime, the pavement decided to jump out into the middle of the road and next thing I know, I'm in a heap in the dust and gravel on the verge and my bike, still attached to my feet is no longer upright. Pride hurt and rather embarrassed I jumped up, brushed the sand out of the grazes and pedalled off while my friend killed herself laughing that not only had I just fallen off my bike but that I'd done it while looking for a geocache.
So the 'found it' emails kept coming...... Well today after getting our 900th find and rectifying another Blackrat DNF nearby we decided to have yet another go. Mr O is vigilant as he's not been back since the first attempt, kids are actually looking and Geokid1 spots the nearby archived cache. Mrs O walks straight up to the cache and cries 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' but a good No this time! Hands straight on it. Haven't got a clue how I could have missed it before - well I guess in hindsight I do know how I missed it. Over the moon to have claimed a smilie on the map and on my face for this tough nut.
Praise the lord and TFTC Blackrat. Just one left of yours now..... the original and seemingly the hardest.

Found this one today after a previous failed attempt. Happy to claim my smiley too on another devious hide by this CO. The log is rather wet and needs replacing though. Thanks for the hide Blackrat1414
Out with Mistraluna and made a quick find today unlike last time.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the cache.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the cache.
Another quick walk in the area trying to finish this series.
Didn't find, lots of cars passing by and a family on the other side looking at us for too long

Another successful find on today's Blackrat1414 Geohunt. This one had eluded once before, so was very happy to make the find. Nearly (but not quite) made up for the DNF at Number 15. TFTC Blackrat1414!
We were last looking for caches up this way back in December and we did cross quite a few off the list, today we had a lunch reservation in Joondalup, so had to be finished by 1:00PM. So off at the top end of our hunt to skin a rat, a very black one too! 10 to us and only 1 for him!!
This one had us seriously stumped last time, and now re-reading the logs it is an unusual cache, some of the better known cachers have DNF's for this. My new Garmin 62s still had the co-ords a little off, but not critically. So happy to have the smiley here, thanks Blackrat. I think fav is deserved.

Not to be dissuaded by a list of d.n.f. I thought to give it a go. Giad I did , cache was in hand within 4 mins or so. Quite tricky nevertheless. Just lucky this time.TFTC
Found with iluvtrekking so definitely still there - you just have to look properly!
Back up this way on a very hot sunday with skippy 46 and MNS13.
We picked up some more Felix caches and got some of the Machman caches but our main aim was to do a lot of the Blackrat caches today.
we didnt do to bad we ended up with 29 finds and 5 DNFS.
Half the caches were found quite quick but a few took a bit of searching and some were very tricky to find.
We came to this cache 4 times today. On the third trip we met up with olthomas. On the 4th trip we met back up with olthomas again as she came back with some equipment that we were sure was going to get us to the log book. We are sure we know where the cache is but we couldnt get the container out TFTH BlackRat1414

In the area today with Skippy46 & OOH YEH trying to bump up our find tallies.
It was quite a bit warmer than expected today, we still managed some good finds though.
Overall we made 29 finds and 5 DNF's
Most of the caches were found quickly, but there were a few that had us searching a bit longer.
We made 4 visits to this cache, surely you think we could make the find?? We looked high, we looked low, we are pretty sure we know where it is, but could not retrieve it to sign the log book.
Thanks for the cache blackrat1414

Well kind of did but didn't if you know what I mean. I know where and what and I think I know how but despite going home and back with extra caching kit I still can't claim to have had the log in hand. Mr B - when you did your maintenance check did you actually place your hands on the log book? Also met up Skippy46, Ooh Yeh and another nice lady (sorry - three names is too much for me to remember!). Will be back (again!)
Still there...thought there was some action around as new foot prints were noted just next to cache..
C'mon guys..read the clues and logs.!!

Made a relatively early start this morning, heading up to the northern suburbs for a caching foray. Lots of finds throughout the day, so lots of smileys too. Another dnf for us here. What are we missing? Thanks anyway Blackrat1414
Like previous logs, we were torn between the published GZ which we have on the corner and the description which seems to indicate GZ should be in the middle of the RAB. Without a specific spot to look in, we soon got frustrated and moved on!
I guess there has to be a break in a run sometimes This one really had me flummoxed, I kept getting GZ on the corner, but no find for this newish Geocacher.
After meeting JacobsCrew at the last event, we decided to do a caching run together.
With a couple of emails, the location was decided.
So with an early start, we headed for Joondalup.
We had a great day, with a good variety of cache hides and managed to find most of them.
Thanks for the cache, Blackrat1414.

I teamed up with The Drovers today to do a full day of geocaching today and we managed to put 71 smileys on our list today with a number DNFs on the way too. It was a pretty hot day today and that was going to be factor in the time we finish today. It was a fantastic day and I enjoyed the company of The Drovers. We all had turns in getting the finds and had a few periods of DNFs which made it tough going at times.Team work here and we had muggles working nearby ..TFTC
Well somebody found it ..coz it's gone.
Will replace with same.

Failed at this one and got a 'big' hint so returned but still no luck!
Even took Mr Felix and The Machman for reinforcements but no luck between the 3 of us.

If Mr Ratty could nip down the road and check on this one I would be most grateful... I believe it may have gone astray..!!! Thanks BR.
With a second attempt to find this one, still couldn't kick a goal.
Had given up when I saw another car pull up and the driver had GPS in hand. After intro's, joined forces with FelixII but we still couldn't find this one.
Even with a clue from one of Felix's caching contacts...and we still couldn't find it.
Disappointed so moved onto another one. After my first attempt I didn't log a DNF but am doing so as this may or may not help others.
It was however, good to meet another cacher and chat about things.. Nice to meet you FelixII.

After finding a very quick find nearby I thought I had time for one more. Well didnt I get that wrong. On approach to GZ though I spied the telltale sign of a cacher on the hunt.
Nice to meet The Elliens on the hunt. Always like meeting cachers on the hunt. Alas after 15mins searching no cache was revealed another 15mins chatting and a hint arrived from one of my geo-friends so we returned for a more thorough search of an area we had previously discounted due to lawnmowing muggles.
Still no cache was revealed so a DNF for us. Shame

Thankx to Everlasting's photo which had shown the log had changed to a piece of pad paper.
The cache was retrieved and the original log was still inside but squashed in the corner and soaking as it was not replaced into it's plastic envelope.
Please also note to future finders...You don't need to dismantle the entire cache to retrieve the log, just open the cap..
All fixed now with a new log and repaired cache.
BlackRat.

The weather is so awful in the morning but in the afternoon - not bad detour from shopping - found it - so pleased to signed the log at 4:35pm. Thanks Blackrat1414.
Found on the third attempt, but I don't know if it abides by the rules as when I located it using a steel probe it was 50mm under ground

Seeing as how this cache was last found two months ago maybe the C.O. needs to make sure it is still there and n one piece
Still there...read the hint and find the.easy cache.
Could tie a ribbon to it.....
But that would be silly..Happy Hunting...

My GZ (as with several previous loggers) was definitely "off" the RAB... on the SE corner to be exact. Also found the white tube and dislodged several spiders in the fence. Exact co-ords, container description and/or a hint would be somewhat helpful here.
I was riding around the outskirts of the area rounding up the last few caches I hadn't found. Should've left well enough alone and given this one a miss.
I was confused by "The cache is a hidden within the "RAB"" in the description and the lack of hiding spot that weren't on the RAB. Tried the fence capping and located a potential white pipe at the base of a tree but after 15 minutes and no sign of a cache I called it quits. Now I've managed to leave a triangle of 3 cache all at extremes of this area - d'oh!

My GPS was indicating 10m SE of the roundabout without being able to pin point a spot, a search was impossible! TFTH
Nice quick find was had on this one. As i approached this cache the traffic came from every direction. But then there was a break so i snatch this one up. Signed the log and replaced. Looks as if the container has come lose from its host. Might need to be checked. TFTC.
Returned today with a friend and soon was able to sign the log.
After spending more time "in" the roundabout than I should have, I should take heed of hiding rules and look where they are allowed to be hidden (head slap).
My GZ was a few metres away, but this time a had no preconceptions of what to look for and found quickly.
Cheers BlackRat and look forward to the rest of the series!

After a no find at Tee Junction I had higher hopes of this one but the BlackRat mind defeated me again!
Searched for 20 mins around RAB but rumbling empty stomach won the attention....
Again, I will be back!

Sorry, finally just getting around to logging this joint FTF with SpatialRiq. We picked it up on the way home from a rogaine near Bindoon. TFTC!
Woohoo, joint FTF with Ntech at 11:37am.
Saw this published while up near Bindoon. Came past on the way home, very surprised to find a blank log! TFTC
