On our way back to goughs bay after dinner and stopped to find cache with daniel - busy road required many a "fake photo" to be taken. Found cache on the ground have replaced as best we could figure where it should be. TFTC
Found by Daniel and Lauren while on a weekend trip to Goughs Bay from Melbourne. Found cache on the ground so hid it back on the post where the GPS shows it to be. TNLN TFTC
Time to archive this one. Having returned it to its original hiding spot again last weekend it was found on the ground by the next finders. I don't know who or what is tampering with this sneaky hide so it is time to say goodbye to the cache.
Detoured past here on our way home from the GeoTour Event at Acheron. I don't know what is happening with this hide but someone appears to be moving it. I have again put it back in its original hiding spot - which is not hanging on a fence wire, and is not in a hole at the base of a post. Please return it to its hiding place. Thank you.
Today we explored Eildon and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found with grandson quite visible needed to be concealed appropriately did this after signing
Caching in the area doing some great caches we made a quick stop to grab this one. Easy hide found which was found in the usual manner. Thanks
Found with Liz & Bruce.I had read some of the previous logs and so came prepared for a search. Happily Bruce found it almost immediately.
As part of our visit to Victoria we are delighted to have been able to include the Lake Eildon Geo Tour in our itinerary. We started our travels in Queensland back in December and it was fortunate that while in Myrtleford we heard about this scenic adventure. A phone call later and we had made plans with our friend Alansee to team up for two and a half days to complete this series and other wonderful caches in the localities we visited. Such fun collecting the info we needed, so much to remember at each spot and photos not to be forgotten. The scenery has been awesome and there is no way we would have ever visited these places without the geotour. The tour has been a real highlight of our travels. Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache and showing us this beautiful area.
We were staying the weekend At Goughs Bay when i noticed there was a letterbox cache nearby, it was decided we had to get it on the way out the following morning as we couldn't travel this far and not log one, we have done so many near home.
Took a couple of moments to locate this one but was soon found in good condition.

Distracted by the horse, but moved past it to find the cache.

No 2 found - kids are addicted!! I don't think this one was where it should be though (too easy).
Travelling on the east side of Eildon with BettyBoo3747 to complete the L.E.G. series.
Grabbed a few others on the way.
Very cute letterbox! A very quick find, but according to the CO, that is because it was in the wrong position. Back where it should have been.
Thanks, Robmc.

As this is an extremely tricky hide I have been concerned that quite a few people have been saying "Easy, nice quick find". Checked today on the way past and it was just hanging there. It is now well hidden in its original hiding place. Please return it to its sneaky hiding place. Thank you.
My goodness BettyBoo you get around!
Another clever letterbox highlighting the business opposite.
Thanks again for your great range of caches Libby

Doing a bit of a caching run in the Mansfield area today and this was next on my list. The letterbox is certainly well done - you see some fantastic letterboxes in country areas! Anyway, onto the cache and I had a good look around GZ before spotting this one, thanks to BettyBoo3747 for this one.
This was the last day of my holidays, leaving Mansfield, used the GRHC series as my basis, but did some others in between. To avoid the Melbourne peak hour, I picked a couple of extra ones near the end of my list. I was originally going to head to Eildon, so these first caches were part of that route. This one gave me real trouble - not the actual find, but everything before it.
It was in my Tom Tom, but when I tried to find it in my GPS, it wasn't there. So out came the laptop and a new waypoint created. I eventually was able to find the cache in my GPS but it was in the found list. But I couldn't get any information from it for some reason. Luckily, the cache was found fairly quickly and I didn't end up needing anything else.
My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Clever placement that was not easy to find for me and my class of 8 students. For many their first find!! TFTC
We found ourselves in Mansfield for lunch after a morning run with the MX-5 Club that came from Melbourne via Eildon and Jamieson. It was a glorious sunny afternoon so we decided to go back the way we came...this time stopping for a few caches along the way.
Our first stop was for this cache...a fairly simple find once I stopped looking in what I though was the obvious location (and I don't mean the letterbox!). Thee is an electric fence strung up quite close to the cache and although it doesn't present real hazard during the day, it might be a problem for anyone stopping off at night...
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache...it appears that we have many more interesting letterboxes to find.

Found this one last week with Beanslayr, _joshnh and Clever Monkey but was running out of battery so couldn't log it at the time. A cool hide, really enjoyed this one. TFTC.
Nice hide. Took a few minutes, but bluewren88 found it once the boys stepped away. Grrr.... TFTC

Hmmm neatly gave up! But geogf would not let me. Then she had a hard time seeing it. Haha. Love this game.
First find for the day on the homeward trip. Had some fairly heavy rain first thing and thought we would not be able to cache at all so please to have the sun come out as we approached this cache.
Another in the highly enjoyable LetterBox Art series.
Unfortunately the log was completely saturated so we were unable to sign it - do have a photo though for the CO if required as proof of our attendance.
Thanks for the cache

Well the hunt was on for this one after attempting to find it last year while holidaying in Mansfield for a snow trip. Left then empty handed and was not about to leave again. After a search between cars coming and going finally discovered in the grass, assumed it had fallen off. Signed and replaced. Left happy to discover it. TFTC
On the way to a motorcycle event at Jingellic, nsw, with Team Beama, we found this one. Tftc.

weather was perfect so we decided on a trip to Buller, picking up some caches on the way. Had a good look around with no luck about to give up when I saw something peeping at me. nice hide tftc
#5279 We had had quite an arduous hike in the morning trying to regain some of the hiking momentum lost when life threw us a curve ball. Although the weather was pleasant at altitude it was extremely hot on the plains so a few P&G's on the way home was the order of the day. We were hoping whilst at GZ that the owner would not turn up......fortunately our timing was on our side and we were able to locate & sign the log undetected. The GeoPrincess thought that this was another cool letterbox. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache. Cheers [^]
A great find by our aunty who has tagged along for a couple of caches. Will try to convince her to join up.
A solo find for beta female of the Happy Chappies as she abandoned the ride and took the sag-wagon back to Bonnie Doon, doing a few caches on the way.

Up at Bonnie doon for the new year with the happy chappies,
They did a bike ride from maindample to Mansfield.
After a lovely lunch at the delatite pub I had half the team in my car back to the house.
But I had to go to the other side of town to get a few caches first,
Thanks BettyBoo3747 [:X]

Thanks to my friends Harrowang who have repaired this cache I can now enable it again (from afar, Mildura in this instance). All ready to be found again.
We were passing this cache today and thought we would check on its state as the cache owner has not had a chance to do so. Found the broken vial with the log sheet intact. Replaced the container with a metal bison and popped the log sheet inside and put it back in it's sneaky hiding place. Should be all good to go again now. We did notice that the road is still very busy, so keep hold of young geocachers hands if parked across the road.
Found today on our Mansfield holiday. Container has no lid and found log on the ground replaced log and pushed a piece of paper in to hold needs urgent attention TFTC
found this one broken did find the log on the ground have signed it and put it back together if co wants proof we have photo's TFTC
Found with skooby71 but the go was completely destroyed and no log book to be found may need to be replaced
Need to check this one after the last two logs. Will be away for a month so can't fix the problem until at least the end of November. It is a very sneaky hide so I am not sure how things went wrong here.
TFTC.
It had called down onto the ground and the container has a chip out of. Log was damp, but still signable.

Apparently there's a cow letterbox a bit further down the road heading away from Mansfield... If you miss the horse, check it out?=\
Well yes we got it, it took a second look though, love the letterbox especially when he gets dressed up for Christmas TFTC.
Thought we were going to have to log a DNF here. The day's weather had certainly deteriorated and it began to rain as we started our search. Still cold (5°) and was 4.45pm by this stage in our journey home from Melbourne. Finally geoPa noticed something unusual and was pleased to find it WAS the cache. Plenty of snow traffic on the road here and lots of vehicles carrying snow on their roof or bonnet or in their ute trays. Not for us thanks. We will be glad to get home to our cosy house after a great weekend in the City. #1629 TFTC BettyBoo and another one of those special letterboxes. Glad to see he does have four legs and a big belly for all the mail!

Cache in good order and accessible. Sneaky hide though. Found early this morning on the way back to Melbourne.

We had a look on the way to another cache, but didn't find it so we continued on looking for other caches. On the way back to our motel we had another look but to many cars come by, but we kept looking. Eventually we gave up and left, but next time we come to Mansfield we will go there first and keep looking!
My only DNF for the day. The letterbox has been moved back behind the fence, and it was raining cats and dogs and I couldn't search thoroughly enough. Next time!
Hopped back on the Geolancer and set the GPS on the next target. This one took a while to get to and I was very glad to see big yeller come into view. Did a uturn and came back to park and noticed there wasnt anything standind out that could be used for a hide. This time when the lights went out it was completely dark and I knew I was in trouble. Praying the GPS knows where to go I set off with very low beam and made my way through the gloom. So here I am in the dark with no idea. Decided to give myself three guesses and then I will call it DNF as I don't know where the house is and the torch is set so low the GPS is giving out more light. . . . . I shall try there mmm strike one. How about this one oooo strike two, not looking good how about under there ouch that's strike three. Oh one more hey that looks interesting BINGO. Do the dance of joy. sltBB4tc nice one.
