Discovered the lid of the previous cache (that we could not find in May). The container left in May has been muggled. Archiving this one and have left a new one nearby. About to write up the cache page now.
Found the top of the missing cache in the dirt on the ground but no sign of the rest. There has been work going on in the area as well.
Quite possibly the lid of the old container, which is why a new container was left in May. Someone else found the lid and the new cache. Will check it when I can.
I looked here and I looked there. But no sign.
Looks likes there's been some recent changes to the area. We did find a green lid and another bottle cap but not sure if it was the cache or not. Will try again another day.

Found while on a long long drive from wollongong to Melbourne. A good spot to have break & stretch the legs.

Stopped in for a stretch of our way through with TilliesTravels. Easy find, cache and log in good condition.
After DNF'ing when we were new at this sport, we wanted another crack. This time, in the cold, the cache and the lid of the old container were found within a minute. Funny how experience can stop you looking in the leaves. Anyway, back to the car with the heater on. TFTC
Did a maintenance run checking caches from Swanpool to Alexandra and fixed things as needed. Replaced the full log sheet and changed over the container as the lid was missing. All good to go.
Enjoying exploring this area while stsying at Mansfield for a few days. Easy find between muggles. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for helping us gsin another smile.

This one took a while as we had to wait for muggles to finish their lunch and move on but what did they do? .... played in the autumn leaves for what seemed an eternity. It gave us time to consider the possibilities for a quick grab when they moved on. TFTC
Out caching with bernspagette today chasing the final points for the cache carnival . This one wasnt a quick find because when we arrived at the GZ there was a family there enjoying the area! We waited until they moved on before making our move and Bernspagette being the taller, retrieved the cache. Thank you to BettyBoo3747 for making and placing this cache.
A huge lake, the water level is still really low, but quite a few people fishing and boating on a wild windy, freezing day, hopefully that rain that started last night keeps going and fill the lake, the farmers would absolutely appreciate it.
Cool - it’s great to see the local area through the eyes of a geocacher, it makes for an very interesting way to travel around Australia.
Seeing these interesting parts of a local area that shows the history, the memories of characters, and pioneers who lived and worked on the land.
An amazing part of the local history here.
We meandered over to GZ, found the cache, with signing duties done and dusted, we replaced the container as found.

We were staying with friends in Tatong for the weekend so we brought the kayaks, fishing rods and a picnic lunch down to the lake for a few hours. We ere parked on the banks about a 1km from the cache so the ladies went for a nice stroll to find this cache. Dorkasscott was most unimpressed that, yet again, i had brought a non-working pen with me! We weren't going to walk all the way back to the cars so I brought the pen open and managed to dip the roller ball into the last vestiges of ink and scratch our names in the log book. I'll leave the pen duties to her next time!
After spending some time at this beautiful lake we found the cache ...keep your eye up
Returning towards home from a special 90th birthday in Melbourne, despite the constant traffic (fortunately) going in the opposite direction, how often over the years travelling on Maroondah Highway have we thought about stopping here, geocaching gave me that opportunity. Noticed a car/van parked close to where my phone was sending me, should I wait until they go or should I continue to search? I did notice one logger said it would be an advantage to be tall! On looking up again I noticed the person coming towards
me phone in hand & soon a smile on our faces as we realised we were looking for the same thing, a cache! Lovely to meet Jacko*, I swapped my pen for his height, thanks for placing a cache at this lovely spot great to see all the water skiers, memories of another life for me!

While coming home from a quick weekend in Melbourne we looked for a spot where we could have lunch and score a smilie. After eating I went for the search when another car pulled up. I tried to act cool for a minute but then noticed them acting more like cachers than Muggles. Turns out they where caching so we found it together then enjoyed a quick chat before moving on.

Nice quick find for the taller member of the BTravellers. Not so pleasant here today with a brisk southerly and a choppy lake.
Had to stop here for an emergency toilet stop - I won’t say which member of the geo family need the toilet urgently! After finishing at the toilet we went to gz. After searching around for a while we found the sneaky hiding spot.
Yarrawonga Ventures found this during lunch stop on the way home from huge 4WD weekend
A quick stop here on our way home from a hike in the hills.
I found it quick smart today. I recall looking for this one a long long time ago and not having any luck. Funny how things change, including your luck!

I'm on holidays with my family. My dad 999hunter found most of them with me.
Took some photos with the lake and explored.
Took some photos with the lake and explored.
Today being the first day of our holiday, it turned into a big day of firsts. First day of L plate Son1 driving interstate, first day of L plate Son2 driving the whole family. First day of caching interstate, first FTF interstate and first time of the whole family getting a FTF.
While planning the drive, I saw this cache and thought it would be a great place for breakfast and it didn't let me down. Lovely area, and the cache was eventually found in good condition. Our GPS said about 10 meters out.
Thanks for the cache Betty Boo 3747

We had to go down to Melbourne overnight to visit son and pick up some meat for our dogs, so a route was chosen (not the Hume) and caches downloaded. I downloaded 95, but did not excpect to even try to get them all.
We arrived at the beautiful Lake Nillacootie, no muggles around but GPS found us a bit short of the final GZ. After reading some old logs, we found one that made sense, looked a little elsewhere and bingo. Funny thing was that that logger rang me that night (for another reason)!
Thanks BettyBoo for the hide and location

On the way back from the Glenrowan food and wine festival and needed to fill a calendar date. Beautiful spot to stop on a stunning afternoon. Took me a little while to get my gps and caching eyes on but then it was an easy find. Thanks for the cache!
We had passed Lake Nillahcootie on our way to the high country, and had decided it would be a great place to stop on the way back for lunch. It was a great place to stop and stretch the legs after a few hours in the car. I set to finding this cache, which didn't take long at all. A few boats were out on the water, but this area was empty. TFTC
Stop here for morning tea, and checking the iPhone, there was a cache only 25 metres away, which didn’t take long to find. TFTC BB. Gets a favourite for a top location.
What a beautiful location. My co-ords were a little out but had in hand quickly. Tftc
After attending the MEGA event on the weekend, Snickersallan, RoddyC and I are on our way to Canberra and caching along the way.
What a beautiful spot for a rest and a cache.
Snickersallan managed to locate this one after a bit of a search by all of us.
SL then returned cache to its hide.

We have been slowly making our way from Queensland down to Victoria to attend the Alexandra Mega Event and finding a few caches along the way. After spending a few days in Dinner Plains, it was time to make our way to Alexandra and set up camp in preparation for the big event. Of course, for safety reasons we needed to stop periodically to find a few caches along the way
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the logbook, we continued on our way [^]
Thank you BettyBoo3747 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

On our way from Canberra to Alexandra and this one was nest on the list. Drove into the car park and walked the short distance to GZ. Mrs Yof was reading past logs and advised me that I needed to be about 6 foot tall. Soon had the container in hand. I did not need to stand on a near by elevation device. Got it from the other side. TFTC BettyBoo3747
Found after a short search. My Garmin's GZ was several metres away at the bottom of the steps. (No need to be "6 feet tall". I am 165cms and I could reach.) TFTC BettyBoo3747.
Saturday seems to have become caching day and so dalerious and I set off to find some caches and to hopefully remedy a previous DNF too!
Starting in Wangaratta, travelling to Mt Buller and then ending the day in Eildon it was a HUGE day out [^]
We saw varying scenery from close ups of the underneath of a bridge to stunning high mountain views [^]
We even had to shovel snow!
By day's end I'd found 16 but had also DNFd a cache I had really hoped to find so even though we got 2 FTFs the day just didn't leave me as happy as I could have been
It's a very good thing that dalerious is so easy going [:X] as I just may have become a tad fractious by the end of the night! [xx(]
Luckily I read some previous logs and realsied that this is yet another 1.5* T that needs the finder to be at least 6feet tall
So using a conveniently placed item, I managed to obtain the right elevation level and make the find quickly
Nice spot [^]

While heading to Canberra for the Mega lead up event plus a couple of others and a few other missions along the way, I was passing by this one so I stopped for a look.
I headed over to this one and started looking around but at first I wasn't seeing anything, I then stood back a bit for a wide angle view and thought maybe there and sure enough it was.

It was time for an afternoon cuppa and what better place to stop than here! Still it's starting to cool off as it is around 4pm.
We have stopped here many times over the years though this is the first time we have found a cache here.
A great spot and no one around today. Made for a quick find while Mrs SKI made the cuppa.

It was time for a short break while out on a road trip with ahomburg. The very warm afternoon was making the lake a picturesque and popular location for boaters, swimmers and picnickers. I was clearly experiencing a some sun induced vagueness as I struggled to find anything at the coordinates. After a little while, a nudge got me within a few metres and from there it was straightforward.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for a fun stop at a gorgeous place.

It's fun to cache with a friend,
You can hike, ascend and descend;
Homburg, Jacko and Pacman
with Bentley had a gameplan,
To explore Eildon in one great weekend!
This was one surprisingly big lake that I had never even heard of!
It was a nice place to visit late in the afternoon, watching the choppy water from the more tranquil banks.
Thanks, BettyBoo3747.

We started in Brisbane 3 weeks ago and by rentalcar we have visited Sunshine Coast, Stanthorpe, Byron Bay, Nelson Bay, Hunter Valley, Katoomba, Wagga Wagga and Beechwort.
