Logs
As per previous logs 2nd waypoint has been removed and the final cache hiding place has been removed twice as a result regrettably i have to archive
We have had a few problems with trying to find all the locations for this multi. After contacting the CO re the 2nd WP, and having that problem sorted, we then went onto the next Wp only to find it also no where in our sights. We searched and searched and ended up PAF a geofriend who had found this wp on their visit here some time ago. We confirmed that the QR code was not where they indicated it should be. So, luckily for us, they had the coords written down, so we made our way to GZ, and once again started searching in every nook and cranny, but didn't come up with the cache. After searching for what seemed a very long time, we must admit defeat on this cache. Maybe the CO could check to see if the cache is in fact still in place, as we will be here in Bundaberg for another 2 days. DNF.
I did a taxi job past here the other day and i had a quick look when driving past i have a feeling the tree where the cache was has been cut down this may require me to archive this cache i am back to work tomorrow afternoon and will check it out if in the area
It did not take us long to find this well hidden cache and it gave us great pleasure to do so. Good to be the first to sign the new log book in the recently replaced cache. We were being watched by 2 magpies, 1 miner and the 2 lapwings were still there too!
TFTC fulfilled 71– we really appreciated you replacing this cache as it was a great QR multi to do and feel sure other cachers would appreciate doing it.

Put a new larger bison here today as i did not have a smaller one, original tree has been cut down the second tree where i placed the cache last time is still there but i found no sign of the cache either on the tree or ground so new cache is in place ready to be found
Enjoyed the multi at all the WP's but the final was very elusive.
Even had a cane train pass us at one point.
Will return if the cache returns Thanks

We have permission to log this cache as found by the CO who is going to check on the cache soon.
We are giving the CO a much deserved fav for his great idea, planning and implementation that has gone into this well presented multi that we did enjoy doing.
Thanks for the challenge of doing this cache fulfilled71 - much appreciated!

Last year, having done this, our 2nd QR multi, and really enjoying the interesting tour of East Bundy, unfortunately the cache was missing but we did find and took a photo of a plover’s nest with the parents watching over it! So this year we were looking forward to finding the cache at the end of our 2nd time at attempting it(had not kept our QR results from last year) and giving the CO a much deserved fav for his great idea, planning and implementation that had gone into this well presented multi, but unfortunately try as we might we could not find this cache yet again!! However, we did find the plovers there again but no nest as yet and we did practice CITO so guess the time spent was not all together wasted!! As this cache was not been found since last November we wondered if it is still there?
TFTC fulfilled that we hope to find on our 3rd attempt??

Ning33 and I were up here for the weekend to do the Harriet Island caches, and after checking in at Bagara, we decided to find a few after lunch.I was eager to do a QR cache and this one didn't let me down. A few of the waypoints proved a bit tricky to find, and even harder to get the reader to pickup, but we managed. A few of the WPs took us past a few interesting spots and definitely made it an interesting cache to do.
Thanks for the cache, fulfilled71

Found at 2100 .Well I (we) did it. I do not have a smart phone so downloaded an APP for the I Pad. Out caching with the CO and his caching son in the dark. Arrived at start point and I was blind, do not do munzees, but found the first QR. Had trouble with the APP so used the CO's smart phone. Now onto the next set of co ordinates. This one was also quickly found but not by me. The CO stood back and watched as he had already told us that he was not going to help. Tried the I Pad again and still no go the Nat had a look at the screen and saw that I had it set on Bar Code. He changed this and then I had the text text message. Set the new co ordinates and we were off and onto the next then the trick of navigating to the GZ. Arrived at GZ, Gone says the CO. So back to the car. to get another container and log then I hear found it. It had fallen from its spot and was on the ground. We quickly entered our names and then to take my caching companions home then off to Bargara for me. Thanks for the company tonight. It was a really good night. TFTC fulfilled71
Well not geocaching or munzee but WallaBee had me scavenging out east today, WallaBee is a scavenger hunt app for iphone for those interested. Anyway so did that and while East remembered this log had appeared so went to the park to check it out. The council has done a good job here cleaning up the play equipment and trimming all the trees etc. Great for the general public but sucks for me, looks like the starlings didn't enjoy having their nest support cut away either So yes the cache has gone I don't have a spare bison but might archive 1 of my puzzle caches so I can pinch the bison. Anyway it's done for now
We really enjoyed the challenge of doing this multi as it is the first time we have done a QR one. Found the 4 QRs in some very good spots indeed and enjoyed the tour of East Bundy, but try as we might we could not find the micro! Although we did find this rather frustrating we were rewarded for the time and effort we had put into trying to find this cache by taking a photo of 4 eggs in the nest on the ground and the mother/father lapwings nearby requesting us in no uncertain terms to leave fast!!! We also got a good photo of one of the lapwings telling us to leave - most inpressive!! TFTC where ever it is fullfilled71 and giving us the challenge of doing your excellent multi and of course for bringing us here for our reward.
Will check on it next time east although I am completely out of black micro bisons

TFTCSL. Oh wasn't this fun. Glad we had our daughter with us to do the bending down
Found this one quite easily as it was lying on the ground on the open. I placed it back where I thought it should have been. CO should contact me and check its location!

I loaded up the gps and my QR-reader again to re-try this one. I realised that CO was right and that my google maps was giving me an adress instead of the co-ords. With Squassum13's trusty tablet we found the third one we were stuck on last time. The rest was easy from there. At GZ I was dissapointed and upset to find that after that interesting adventure the cache was out in plain sight and could quite easily be muggled. After signing the log I returned the cache but hiding it a bit better. Found with Squassum13 and Crystal. TFTC
Just discovered by accident that I could download an app from ITunes for my I Pad and lo and behold it works. Now this one is in my plan for my Bundaberg trip in a few weeks.
FTF at 16:00
Had noted this cache during the week, knowing that I'd be in Bundy this weekend, but with no car and a total of 25 hours in town for mother-in-law duties I expected it'd not be on my radar. But nobody found it. Still nobody found it, and then I was in town. Really? QR codes are simple as on a smartphone, but even without one it's a simple matter to photograph one and upload it on a computer. OK, so you'll need to do that three times so you'd want to be a local, but a FTF was begging for someone. So a little bit of sweet talking to Mrs Prime`, and a subtle snatch and run of mum-in-law's car keys, and we're off. [:X]
Not done one of these sort before, although I am quite comfortable with the technological approach, I still took a few moments at wp1 to click the eyes into gear. Oh, there it is, right, load the app, hover the phone ove...ok that was easy. New coordinates, back to the car, upload them into the GPS and off we trundled. Other than dealing with the glare of the sun wp2 was straight-forward (a find for Mrs Prime` as I started at the other end). New coordinates, back to the car, upload them into the GPS and off we trundled (slight detour as the preferred road is closed) and here we are at wp3. Started looking at the wrong structure to start with, and took a few moments to correct, but then another little ding from the phone and, yes you guessed it, New coordinates, back to the car, upload them into the GPS and off we trundled. OK, slightly different spot this time, over we went, and then we seemed to get stuck. Wasn't thinking or counting properly so was looking for the wrong thing. Checked here, checked there, not all that close to the coords we had, but the coords seemed to be a little off here? ... oh me of little faith! Coords are spot on, it's me that was a little off here. Mrs Prime` helping me look for the QR code asked the innocent question "Could it be inside that little black bullet container?" DOH~! That's a bison tube, that's the actual cache. Good pickup Ma'am.[B)]
FTF. My first FTF actually not in a group find. How cool is that! Great little multi, not too long, but long enough to start enjoying it. Coords are all perfect, and a clean logsheet is very pretty.
Thanks for placing this cache, fulfilled71. Found in good condition. Rewarded with icecream with CO and son afterwards.

Got to the second coordinates fine it gave us the coordinates for the next. But map shows that where the code is there is nothing but bare land in a park. Checked all the structures that were in the area that could possibly host a code but nothing. This one needs to have the coordinates corrected.
Just got back from Brisbane to see the email have checked all qr codes and co-ordinates and found all to be well, all searchers need to make sure they are using a co-ordinate as opposed to an address search thank you, or else you will have trouble with the final co-ordinates of the cache too.
I understand what you require for this multi but there are some of us without smart phone technology so will it be available to us eventually. I suppose this is a bit like chirp caches whereas you need a Garmin with the correct software. I do not cache with smart phone people as I usually cache on my own.
