Unfortunately no luck on this one. Had an idea, but no reward. Thanks any way!

Searched for about 10 metre radius but no luck. Lots of possible spots for a nano, but no sign of it today. TFTC anyway.

Girls weekend away caching Next, we parked close to this one. Another quick find. Log signed and cache returned to its hiding spot before we headed off to the next one

Found at 4:39:00 PM, staying in Stanthorpe for a couple of days and grabbing a few caches before continuing on our way North to escape Wagga's winter. We started the Granite Belt Bike Trail this morning and soon realised that if we were going to have any chance of completing it in one day we would need a bit more horsepower so we swapped the bikes for the Geomobile.

A quick trip to Stanthorpe for the traditional but a little early Xmas in July event for 2015. I took the opportunity to tackle the caches along the once was Mt Lindsay Highway but is now Mt Lindsay Road.

I had travelled the dirt section while at the mega to get to Bald Rock but that was just about sight-seeing. Today was different. I saw the sunrise at Amberley, bypassed the traffic jam at Aratula and made a beeline for Liston and the nearby Undercliife Falls. I headed south to Tenterfield and tackled everything along the way, before heading north to Robins Nest and the event and the overnight stay.

On a geocaching trip with tmann421 with the focus being the MEGA at Stanthorpe. A fantastic trip away seeing a part of the country I had not been to before, collecting caches along the way. Stamped the logs with t&J or our names. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.

Sadly Oz Mega Mega is over till next year. We are super bummed, but we love this area so much that we are staying for a couple more days before we start making our way home. Thanks to all the cache owners, volunteers and friendly residents we have met. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

I am having a tour of the area today and knocking over a few caches with seirra1 and AussieScouter. We are staying at the Mega, which has been an awesome experience.
Today we visited a winery, hotel (for lunch) and Jamworks (we bought some yummy jam) and completed the Elementary series, some of the bike trail and many other local caches.

We teamed up with Couchmen for the multi, and grabbed a few of the traditionals along the way, hoping for the elusive clue.

This one took us quite a bit of searching. I admit, I missed it the first time around, but eventually I managed to lay my hand on the little sucker.

After signing the log, we took the opportunity to work out our final coords for the multi.

When I first spied this series, I thought id walk or cycle it, turns out, its more of a driveable Trail...

Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.

Braving the rain we decided to hit some caches south of the mega this morning, though not a power trail like yesterday. While I won't be doing the full series a cache is a cache so we stopped here to have a look. Took about 10 minutes until I eventually felt it on a spot I am sure I had checked when we first pulled up! Can't believe I missed it early on. Thanks Rainforest Cookie.

Again we caught up with Weroamin & Gerrynewgirl.
We all started looking but with four sets of eyes on the job it wasn't to be found.
We all trolled through the previous logs to see if we could gain a hint.
The search was expanded to a nearby feature but no luck was there either.
It was then that Tassiegirl thought now could it be there? She looked and yes she was right
It was a tricky little bugger.

Found on the fourth day that Pheltern, Gonefishen07, Zobo04 and Maccamob and I had cached togethe rduring the MEGA event. Another great day's caching with no DNF.

Found as part of a short caching adventure before the official start of the OZ MEGA with Slieschke, Yorkshirekiwi83 & Vistra 0n Thursday 17th April. All logs were signed as "3ST"

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the caches that we were presented with (learning along the way some local acronyms SPOR which occasionally we turned in to LPOR )

Arrived in Queensland early yesterday morning and headed straight out here to Stanthorpe. Oh so many caches and only such a short time for us to find as many as we can, whilst still taking time out to catch up and socialise with all the other geocachers who are in town for the big event. Headed down into NSW today , then crossed back over the border again into Queensland. No problems finding this one. Thanks again Rainforest Cookie

Our fourth day out and about around Stanthorpe, and we enjoyed more of the scenery, some wonderful caches and the company. We also made a start on the new Lab caches. Took us a while to get this one, as a few of our group looked but didn't see. Once the cache was sorted, we did take a lunch break here. Our thanks to Rainforest Cookie.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.

Day six was fairly gloomy and wet, but we started by heading up to the Bald Rock area, even though it turned out to be too wet to attempt the climb. Then it was back to the main road and trail caching for the rest of the way to Stanthorpe. Thanks.

Good grief! Everyone in caravans must be going to the Mega! Met lots of cachers whilst stopped for a cuppa at the last cache, could have been a mini event! Great fun this morning. TFTC found with the two rights and Roostaman
