Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy as we head to a weekend in Mansfield. I've driven past this too many times. Thanks again Nufrat

The third kind of cache my mum and I have found I still like these ones though the first on our trip out today TFTC find 188
Thanks for the Cache Nufrat, dropped into town for supplies and while my Wife rested I took the Pushy out for a Cache run. Realising that I had once again lost my pen, I "borrowed" a pencil from the previous cache and peddled to the outskirts of town to claim this prize.Regards from Victourer
No doubt about this power house of a caching family.. Quick park & grab. TFTC
I felt like exploring Alexandra and doing a bit of relaxed caching today And as Star the Geo-car has been cleaned prior to servicing, and wanted to admire the shiny paintwork for at least a few days That means staying out of the forest Shady little town and may come back here sometime.

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Interesting tour of Alexandra. We have had a ball looking around this town and surrounds. Thank you to all the cache owners for providing and maintaining these caches.
Not busy tonight! Just one last one before catching up with buddies in Alex. Easily spotted. TFTC

I’ve found lots of caches at Welcome to... signs around the state. This one was quite different. The information about the sculptor living here and artistic welcome board. The cache was hidden differently and cleverly too. We appreciated the easy park off road.
Found this cache after pacenoting for the Akademos Rally, round 6 of the Victorian Rally Championships. The event was based out of Alexandra so I figured i might as well grab some caches while in the area.

Back in Alexandra to find a few more caches that I didn't get when the event was on.TFTC.
As we were still in the area after attending the Mega event, we decided to add some more happy smiley faces to our caching map around Alexandra. With it being very hot today, we did not do as many as we would have liked.
There was no problem locating this cache and all was found to be in great condition. Thanks go to nufrat for adding to our caching experience.

A few Lab caches, and other things, at the Mega, before we leapt into the cars and off for a road trip - another day of caching with the Goulburn/etc group I was camping with, for a few more of the 12 cache types in one day, which one car load of us had got an early start on by driving to Melbourne the night before, to get a virtual just after Midnight, and a letterbox on the way home - I think I got 11 cache types out of the possible 12 - had to miss out on the the webcam because the others went there for a late afternoon drive, before staying another night on site, and I had to head off before they were due back, to drive back home to Canberra that evening)
First stop was a mystery someone else in our group had solved ready for us to find, and then we did a multi in the same place, before heading off and grabbing a traditional or 2 on our way to do the Earth cache and attend the CITO in Eildon.
TFTC - we were driving right past, couldn't NOT stop for it
we ended up getting separated on the way out of town (vehicle I was in made a quick stop at a shop) so someone in the first carload of us signed my name in the log just before we pulled up behind them, but it felt like cheating to count the find if I wasn't actually there watching them sign, so I made them wait while I dashed over and found it too (I didn't have to actually open it again, so it only took me a few seconds

A quick find with Landau351 after completing all of the fantastic lab caches during the Alexandra Event and the only nearby puzzle hide we'd had time to solve.
Wed noted people pulling in here as we passed, so knew there was a cache at this location even before I looked at the map. So we pulled in on our way back.

On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

Our route from Eildon to Melbourne's First - the oldest traditional in Australia - took us back through Alexandra, so I decided to grab a few there.
This was a quick and easy find. I didn't have tweezers available (in the bottom of my suitcase!) but I managed to shake out the log.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks nufrat for the cache.

A last minute change in family requirements and I could attend the Mega - Yay !! Drove down on the Friday and met up with the group, and today we headed out to mainly complete 12 types in a day (for them) and probably 9 for me (as I already have the Virtual and cant make it up to the WebCam). This was the next type/cache on the list.A nice quick drive-by cache. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

TFTC. We are in Alexandra for the 2017 Mega. We wanted to finish the geo-art trail this morning and pick up some traditional in Eildon and Alexandra. We had a great few hours caching around the area. The geo-art puzzles taxed our brains and some of the finds did as well. Thanks to all the CO and the organising committee for a great weekend.
Picked up no. 5000 today, it was the MEGA then headed off to collect a few of the amazing lab cache and others on the way round. So surprised to find so many ingenious hides, so much effort from the CO’s. Met Clancy79 at the MEGA, and we decided to travel together so the Geokids could work together. Was a great day out. TFTC
On the way back from Eildon, this was a nice quick find. Great to be up here for the Mega.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
Today was the first day of the Alexandra Event or MEGA. WE joined others at the Showgrounds early in the morning and caught up with many we haven’t seen for some time (probably since the last MEGA) and met a number for the first time. After the official proceedings had been completed we headed off to cache around the Alexandra and Eildon areas. Our prime focus was completion of the Trout geoart series, having found nearly half of them yesterday. There were also a number of other caches along the way which we looked for as well. In the late afternoon we returned to the Showgrounds where we joined many for a very pleasant BBQ – an excellent way to end a great days caching.
Accurate coordinates and an common type of hide led to a quick find.. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks nufrat for the cache,
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 539 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 98.9. We are now entertaining the possibility that we might be able to achieve our gaol before this trip ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

A fairly late decision resulted in myself and 1 party of the FurfacesLL clan headding south towards Alexandra Event. After working during the day Friday, the drive down Friday night felt never ending. We had a great 3 days stomping around Alexandra and surrounds putting our scribble in many caches.
After having lunch, it was off to get some smileys. No issues here, signed and replaced.
