After gathering the coordinates at Easter, set off today to hunt for the cache. The hiding place seemed apparent, but all we could find in the hole was a whole lot of soil.
As he's taller, the reluctant spouse went up the wobbly tree, but alas no cache to be found. Looked to be the right spot.
Btw, the reluctant spouse asked me to post a warning that the tree is not suitable for the "horizontally-challenged"! I think he felt very insecure while checking what we thought was gz.

Found @ 20:15. Last of 4 for the afternoon on the bikes. It was almost late enough to hang around (like the flying foxes), and wait for their departure, but we were getting hungry and decided to get dinner instead. Glad I'm only a light fellow as the tree didn't look like it would hold much more weight. TNLNSL. Thanks.
17:00 It is great relief to be able to announce I am sane. ! I found it - why did I make this harder than it needed to be ? I was only a few meters out...., I did look at this spot the last time.... I must have been around the bend ! Thanks Pickupfamily for the counseling and therapy with this one. Thanks Biggles Bear - I think :-) In: AUI -> UTP transceiver.... Out: Great White Shark.
It pains me but I am logging this DNF after a long hunt in long bushy grass in hot weather - I was worried about snakes after I got surprised by a long blue tongue and I had just listened to geotalk podcast episodes 3 and 4. I feel confident that I was in the right spot but I think I better go back and do the calculations again ..... hummm this is sending me round the bend
Found by Pickupfamily Dad 2035hrs after having doing the work to get the final co-ords a few weeks ago. Didn't manage to fell the tree, wished I could Fly from here Away over the river. TNLN. TFTC Biggles Bear.

I was picking up another nearby cache and thought I would finish this one off. I had the coords last week but water separated me from my goal. Today on the right side and a short walk took me to the cache and the branch which to my way of thinking should last a good while longer yet. Thanks Biggles Bear for an intersting challenge.
A nice first story waypoint with the former institution posts...plenty of stories from in there ..i'll bet !! Treked to next rock and plaque after another picturesque walk in tranquil conditions. Then got confused and ended up not far from the cache but on the wrong side of the that famous river!Saw these banks many times today. After another cache came back around other side by car this time and climbed to GZ .After a couple of minutes spotted the niffty hide .Found at 5.45 pm in the near dark then a boat ambled by with a couple of what looked like yabbie or crab hunters.Did the neccessary paperwork ,saw 4 golf balls in there, but didnt need them, did the appropriate re-hide correctly and shuffled off .Nice multi recommended to do going thru many great family friendly walks with exciting scenery the entire trip !TNLN and thanks to Biggles Bear for the cache and enjoyable journey !!
It took me a couple of trips to get the right side of the river. I also share the concern of my fellow adventurers that the strength of the tree may be a safety concern.

I found this one easily enough although missed the cache in the tree at the first go. Re the branch - although you do not need to take more than one step on it to easily reach the cache, I share Pete's concern re its strength. For that matter the whole tree is not that strong! Took compass, left golf ball (makes 4!) and devil. Thanks.
Just completed Dights light , so I decided to try this one. Walked to WP1 got the coordinates then headed off to WP2 got the final coordinates .Had a quick look to see which side of the river it was, but I didn't look hard enough , I ended up on the wrong side of the Yarra!!!.Went back to my car and drove to the car park , walked to the cache, found it straight away , but I am not sure about that branch , maybe its time to move the cache to ground level?

This area is quite the geocachers paradise. Oenze and I found ourselves working on a few multi's similtaneously this being one of them. I must say I enjoyed the walk even though it was longer than we anticipated. Thought about hailing a boat to get a shorter trip back and to get the cache on the opposite bank but there wasn't one around when we needed it. Anyway its done and many thanks to Biggles Bear
Found at 4:00pm Accompanied by Chewinpricles.

This cache certainly was a hike, I got into Geocaching because I wanted to loose some weight and try to get a little fitter, I think I got about 2 weeks worth today.[xx(]
In:-Golf Ball, Out:- 2x Mondo Figurines ( took 2 because I need as many as I can get for another cache I am working on), Signed Log.

Well this one certainly sent us around the bend, and in circles. A few times Thyla was just comtemplating if in would be easier just to jump in the yarra and swim to the other side.[:o] But the look of the water put her off, maybe if it was a warmer day

Having Read the Coffee Clans log, Biggles Bear decided to check on the placement of the cache. Whilst it is not in the original location it is as close as no matter, and is probably more secure.

Another cache found on a lovely day for a stroll. After collecting the clues it was clear how the cache got its name. Arriviing at GZ expecting a reasonable search for the cache we were surprised to hear Shelby say there it is.
Due to he forces of nature it appears this cache had moved from its home. We signed the log and left a message for Biggles Bear as to where it has been rehidden.
Many thanks Biggle Bear.

I'd done the first 2 waypints for this yesterday, but had to get to work, so couldn't finish it. Today was another perfect caching day - cool, sunny and still - ideal for a stroll in the parklands by the Yarra so I decided to detour on my way to work again. I parked in a picnic area around 500m from the cache and walked the remaining distance while admiring the scenery, the bird life and the (literally) thousands of bats hanging in the trees on both sides of the river. The cache was easily located and I really don't think there's much of a problem with the dead branch mentioned in other logs. I can't help thinking that it's a pity that the pressure for stats these days means that caches of this type are no longer as popular as they must have been in the early days .

Found by Roma and Max.
The sky is very threatening, we may go home with a wet tail and no fish, but we do have a cache find for compensation, and as mentioned in previous logs the available parking left something to be desired, particularly as we were travelling in our mobile home!
To remember this experience we swapped some Tea Tree Fragrance with a Mondo Figurine.
Thanks Biggles Bear,

Found after the Dash for Cache presentation together with Kiwideb, Acts2, Spykids, Barcoder & Alansan. After driving to location one we set of to location two. Armed with the information we set of on foot for GZ. After a time we reconsidered and retreated to the cars. After a short drive we did some creative parking and loged the cache. Not sure if Spy Kids or I saw it first but I got it out.

Found at 4pm with Geof, Kiwideb, Acts2YouthGroup, Barcoder & SpyKids. We were able to quickly collect all the clues, and considering Kiwideb had already done this one we allowed her to guide us along the river bank. After about 10 mins we noticed that the distance to the cache was increasing considerably and so the walk was abandoned for the preferred car option. After parking close to the cache (and being concerned about how close) we had it in hand in moments. Thanks Biggles (and Kiwideb) for another adventurous cache.
While attending the dash 05 presentation, the Alliance was reformed,Acts2youthgroup, Alan-san, Barcoder,Spykids and Kiwi Deb, although we were missing Dak and Muzza, but we soon recruited Geof and off we went. Well that bend sure was big and as the distance increased we had to do some rethinking. As the rebel Alliance gadget man, I made a note to purchase self inflatable dingy to put in the Geo Bag of tricks. Well with some great navigating we were soon close to GZ, our Cars turned into bikes as we did some crazy driving with only 53 meters to go, if i had the Geo4WD this would have been a drive by. we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks biggles bear.

I now know the true meaning of 'Off Road Parking'! Acts2youthgroup, Alan-san, Geof,Spykids and Kiwideb and I decided to add a couple of extra caches to our day Cache Dash Presentation Picnic day today. After a false start, we decided to drive to the cache. But where to park? It was only just down there you see. Oh well, we will create a 'makeshift' parking space right here!! Cache found and logged by the group and not a uniform in sight. Thanks for the extra today Biggles Bear

Walking - cycling - no not us. Although we have been known to do a bit of it if absolutely necessary. If we can drive there - then we will. So we went up and down and finally performed a slightly illegal manoeuvre with the Patrol to get within 53 metres of GZ. We like these older caches, which basically tell you where to look and exactly how to retrieve the cache in the cache notes. However the dead tree is becoming slightly unstable and I was a wee bit concerned that it would not support my weight - but it did.
This was our 600th cache and we are happy that it was a BB cache as we have learned a lot from them together with the macca's. Took: Dried out White Correction Fluid, Left: Bath salts. Thanks Biggles Bear for an enjoyable cache on this lovely clear day.

Time pressures only allowed us to get the first clue for this one while going on our friends' Maggie and Genghis's morning walk, but we hope to return next trip! Looks like a great cache and we enjoyed the walk in the area.
17:19 Final cache of the day - in fact it was dark when I walked back to my hotel. It is a great walk, although part of the track seems to be closed? I couldn't quite work out which part, so I walked most of it anyway. I liked the hiding place. Thanks for the cache.
3rd for the day.
Did this one after End of the Road cache. Got to know this park very well. Had morning tea before setting off on foot at 1100 at the Boathouse and then had lunch at 1400 after locating the cache.
Walked back to Southbank completing a 22 km circuit, I needed to work off the liquid refreshments of the night before.

A nice area, good for a walk or a ride, but this time I decided on taking the long drive around. Which we found out later it would have been quicker walking. The cache was about 30 metres out before it averaged into the neat hiding spot. Thanks for another fun cache from M.B

Apart from the cache not being a clear 2l screw top container, or hidden in a dead tree, and I didn't need to clamber up the tree to retreave the cache, it was all as you said.
The tree had rotted a little and after I climbed the tree, I noticed that it was on the ground next to the tree. Found a little more secure spot in the same tree very close to the original spot. (Could not do anything to turn the clip top box into a screw top container.)
Took: Sewing kit, Left: Whale Shark.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found the initial point and second point with relative ease (had a good idea of what we were looking for), but ended up roaming both sides of the river with no luck finding the actual cache - a cache to try on a day wheren it's not raining, methinks!
Found with Shimachic.
Thought we had the final location found easily, but ended up on the wrong side of the river. With some further calculations, we went on to find this after a bit of walking. Only difficulty was in getting the cache from its hiding spot then trying to return it again.
Took : Woody (maybe?)
Left : Ugly Elephant (I think?)

Found it after heading to the wrong side of the river on my pushbike - I was all of 45metres away but 45mins+ to get back!!

I had a pleasant drive around the circuitous route followed by a nice walk. We actually started this cache a few months ago but had to stop after the first clue because we were running late for something or he other.
Took: Coin and stapler
Put: Zebra and bouncy green ball
PS. If you weigh more than 100Kg, I recommend that you don't bounce on the tree branch.

Found by Jabiru4721. Thanks for the Yarra walk. I'm visiting Victoria for a holiday from Central Queensland. Took an Italian coin and left a spring clamp as a link to all geocachers. Lex
Found at 6:15pm. The river near this cache is extremely swollen after lots of wet days recently, but GZ is still easily accessible. Like 4MAAL, I felt some movement in the branch supporting my 83kg when climbing to retrieve the cache. Heavy cachers beware!!

Found by 4 Men and a lady at 0800 on 30 October 2004 after a failed attempt last week to "swim across" when we learned we were on the wrong bank and had run out of time - (Rivers!!! tricky things those)
That old dead tree certainly even struggled under my 70 KG so be careful fellow, but heavier geocachers
Left TB Geomemphis to catch a punt up the river to see more of Victoria and water pistol and took green car
Many Thanks to Biggles Bear

Found at 4:45pm. We started this one straight after lunch and although we decided to drive to the last point, rather than walk, we did manage to complete three other caches in transit . 4yo "A" loved the bridge at point 2 and the rainbow lorikeets at the final cache site.
Thanks BB from D,H & A B-A. This is a very cool inner suburban park and I think with all the caches we have completed today we have seen most parts of it.
Left a digimon. Took a green dinosaur.

The first two waypoints were easily found.
Of course the location for the cache annoyed us for quite a while.
After J decided that the walk was too long we took the easy but long route by car. Finding parking near enough to the final location proved very difficult to do legally.
I concur with previous log comments that 100kilos or more may cause a problem retrieving this cache. At close to that restriction fortunately everything remained alright.
We took a frog and a lily pad candle.
We left a Dinosaur and Kangaroo Key Ring and a Car.
Thanks for a nice walk and a nice drive Biggles Bear.

I found it funny to read what the institution was origionally and what it became!!
Parking in an interesting spot, a quick walk and a bit of searching and we found the cache.

Left Floating Candle.

Found on 21/04/04 at 1605 again with the intrepid Johan Cruyff. Johan and I escaped from a nearby training course in Fairfield at lunchtime and located the clues, returning in the afternoon to locate the cache.
A great walk along the river on a warm afternoon. The track is quite heavily used by walkers and mountain bikers (despite the signs) so a discreet retrieve and return were made with only over-flying bats looking on.

Another one of the caches here in the Yarra Parklands that took us all over the place! We read the logs over a few times after getting to location 2 and decided to drive a bit closer and walk from there - boy that was a good choice. We found our way to the location quite quickly and a quick clamber up the tree to retrieve the cache before deciding how to get back down again .
Took Bear Bug TB and toy gun (?!), left bear memories TB, ruler, sewing kit and liquid paper (to fill it back up again).
Thanks Biggles Bear for the exercise (both mental and physical)!

It was nice to see boaters of all sorts out enjoying this amazing city waterway on such a lovely warm autumn day. The area is worthy of an extended visit so allow some time to explore. This is not one to smash & grab.
The bats were beginning to stir for their nightly activity. Quite a spectacle.
We are leaving a little blue American bear here. Such a beautiful location is a great welcome to Australia and a Biggles Bear cache seemed the perfect place for Bear Bug to begin his Aussie adventures.

Great cache in a beautiful area. As it was my last for the day I cleaned out my pockets - left a few things including The Sims CD for Macintosh - got it free, can't use it. Took spotted mouse. I got pretty lost on this one, did it the hard way on my bike and probably covered 4km from the first point to the cache itself. Beautiful wildlife here too. Go carefully climbing for this one, I think 100kg is definitely the limit for that tree branch - it creaked for me.

So that's where the women's prison was! Thanks for showing me the fascinating history of this place. Thanks also for the walk along the Yarra. My GPSr took a while to settle down at the GZ, but once it did, I located the cache easily enough. I left a pen for future loggers.

This cache has taken some months of work on my part. I found the first clue and proceeded to the second only to find the foot bridge across the river closed. When I found the second clue I set out for the cache only to find my way blocked by the river. On this occasion it turned out to be OK because it transpired that the cache wasn't in its hidey-hole. Today I called in on the correct side of the river and happily concluded my search. I took an egg timer and left a nice little spotted mouse.
Hoorah, found it without any trouble now it's there (it was in one of the trees we kept re-checking on the first visit, because it had seemed such a likely candidate). Left a green froggy, didn't take anything (except possibly the pen that was supposed to live in the cache, oops). Thanks Biggles Bear
Oh dear. After reading the log of oz_shogun from yesterday, I raced down to GZ after work to see if the cache was still there. As the last Geocacher to see the cache "alive" though, it is my sad duty to report that it is no longer where I had replaced it on 14/12/03 . The light drizzle wasn't conducive to a long search of the area but I think that oz_shogun probably gave the area a bit of a going over yesterday anyway.
I'm very disappointed to think that I was the last person to have seen both it and Iowa Bound #1 TB. I shall contact RooBoy with an alternative regarding the TB.

No luck today here, despite looking in every dead tree that was anywhere near the final coordinates and didn't seem to be creaking and about to fall apart when stepped on - as well as some that did...

Got this one at 17:30 with AlMel, SueMel, StefBro and StanDr after our post-AWG-walk convivialities.
(WayCor, StefBro and I actually went for a walk to find it about 2-hrs earlier but unfortunately Murphy's

too daunting even though it was such a beautiful day.)
The cache is in great nick. It was time for Iowa Bound #1 TB to end this section of his journey so in he
went in place of the bubble blower (out), as EuDes herself would have wanted that (and she had a ball with
it ).
A wonderful end to a great day. Thanks BB .

Found after some fun adventures. +2 thought she saw a snake but it turned out to be a very big lizard.

Did this one over two drivebys after work. Now that I've grasped the whole datum thing, it was relatively easy. This cache will involve a bit more travelling when they close the bridge for repairs this month. TNLN
Wished we'd known about this one when we were looking (in the wrong place) for the other BB Yarra cache. Would have saved a bit of leg work.
Oh well. Fresh air and exercise is good for you.
Took Disney ball, left flywheel car.
Thanks BB.

Confession Time: This was the very first cache we attempted (over a year ago). GeoCaching looked like fun and this one seemed a bit of a challenge in a park we thought we knew well. We failed! The first attempt was on 21st April 2002 and we walked the whole way. Actually further than that because we set the 2nd waypoint wrong and headed off in totally the wrong direction for about 1km. We got to the target in the dark and it seemed that the target was on the other side of the river. Tried again 4 days later in the rain and clambered along the other side of the river but it got too dangerous. There was one other attempt on 2nd June.
So today we decided to lay this ghost. We went to the old location without checking the V1.1 instructions. Had to keep walking anyway to satisfy the canine team members. Decided on the likely side of the river and drove there and then walked down - and of course the target was on the other side of the river. Another dog walk. We tried our luck at "Dight's Light" in the dark as a bit of a confidence booster - but no luck. We refused to give in and drove to the right side and walked to the target. And there it was - found at 19:55. Just so easy!!! And it feels good to have buried the ghost.
Took Pelican Squirtees toy and left Pooh Bear in a ball. Thanks Biggles Bear for taking us to places we didn't know existed.

Headed for this cache after work my second attempt. Had clues from Biggles Bear and Muzza so if I had gone wrong it would have been sad indeed.
I had actually come to this tree on my 1st search but didn't want to climb it. Too lazy . This time I was prepared to climb anything . Arrived at GZ at 0720 and found the cache at 0735.
Swapped a bubble blower for a candle. Thanks for all your help and the nice early morning walk.

Having only recently replaced this cache, we rushed out to check the status of this cache when we read KiwiDeb's log. Phew it was still there!
Found all the clues easy enough. But when it came to the cache it eluded me. Decided to search one side of the river even though my GPS said the cache was on the other side. Then went to the other side and spent sometime searching where GZ was (per my GPS). Started this search at 0820 and it was now 1100. Decided to let this go and try again another day. Will see if Biggles Bear will give me a clue.
Thanks Biggles Bear lovely park hope I have better luck next time.

After Bmac's visit, we've finally got round to checking out the cache again. The cache had not survived so a new one was installed. The terrain is still definatley one, any short cuts you take are at your own risk.
See my log at Fly Away for the first chapter of this exciting episode of Melbourne geocaching without private transport.
Safely avoided being hit by flying white balls on my trip from Fly Away to WP2. Entered the coordinates for the final cache position, and was faced with the agonisizing decision. Which side of the water is it on? Made my decision based on having done Fly Away, and proceeded. I must say at this point, that the rating system of Melbourne caches leaves a little to be desired, if this is a terrain 1 cache. Bikes were having a hard time of it on the track, let alone walking. My travels took me further and further from the cache, and all the while I was requestioning my decision of which way to go to. I'm not a crow, so I had to go more than 700 m to get to GZ. I reckon I would have gone three times that amount. As I was nearing the final location, my water phobia returned. Was I on the right side? This cache is driving me round the bend!!!
Finally I arrived, and yahoo there was the cache. Not hard to find. It was right out in the open. It must a fallen down at some stage. My trade item was too large to fit in the cache, and the batteries in the torch (which I thought I may be needing to get home) were flat, so I took nothing, left nothing. I must say that that was the most difficult cache (in terms of getting there) that I have attempted so far. Has anyone else done this cache without driving between waypoints? Quite a few log entries mention that they took this option.
Now, the 2 km walk back to get a train back into town.... I'll sleep well tonight.

Fran, Joe and Pete did all but the last stage of this cache on Australia day. They found themselves enveloped in darkness on the wrong side of the river! Kate and Pete went back for a walk along the Yarra to finish it off. It’s easy to forget the parklands that a city has so close to where we live.
The cache was in good condition other than a broken shot glass, which we took out with us. We left behind a golf ball that we found on our way in.
Thanks Biggles Bear

Found at 2.30pm. A little history, a delightful river and peaceful walking.
What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
A short struggle with the tree, yes it does hold 100kg!!!
Took TB kANGAROO and left stapler
Lovely area, Thanks BB

Well we made it. 2 tries, the first we gave up cause it was too cold, the second, a week later, we nearly gave up beacuse it was too hot. Geez this must be melbourne.
Also got somewaht confused as to which bank we should be on but 3 hours walking in the hot sun we made it.
Left Travel Bug Kabgaroo, looking for his relatives and took Daisy Duck back to New Zealand this afternoon.
Our first Aussie cache was a success.
Thanks

A big family outing for this cache with 5/6 of the Maccamob clan in attendance (the other member isn't interested in caching, so it was a full team!) Since Slider & Smurf are only visiting for the weekend, we drove to each location to maximise our caching time. Very glad to have their company when we reached the final location - I don't think I would have had the courage to retrieve the cache by myself! Smurf was happy to take on that task... I grabbed the keyring to add to my upcoming themed cache, and left a candle. Fantastic work BB!

Had a great time wandering around gathering the parts for this one ... we wussed out and drove between stages though!!
Lunch was at the nearby Boat House, highly recommended apart from the mob across the river who insisted on playing loud music and yelling enthusiastically to an unwilling audience. Oh well.
Waited for the passers-by to pass by before clambering up for the final hiding spot - the tree creaked a little, but seems solid enough. Took a currency calculator, left a sewing kit and a mini CDROM.
Thanks Biggles Bear!

Finally, finally, finally found this one! The co-ordinates are correct now, and I had no problem finding it once I worked out which side of the river to be on. The hiding spot is good and shouldn't be found by passers-by, but you will need your climbing boots on! Took a stress ball, for all the stress this one has caused me! and left a torch.
Argh! I give up on this one...even with the new new co-ordinates I had no luck. Biggles can you please check the co-ordinates and tell me exactly what the final location is? Using the ones on the web page now just leads me back to exactly where it was in the first place, with no dead trees to be seen!
I suspect the new co-ordinates may be wrong. The last 3 digits in the minutes being the same look a bit suspicious to me. This location is in the middle of the Abbotsford Monastry redevelopment, closed to the public and no dead trees in sight.
Finally found a new hiddy hole for the replacement cache. It is now ready to be found again.
Unfortunatley Quasar is right, the cache seems to have been stolen. I reset it as soon as I can find a new hiddy hole.
Had no trouble with the clues, and drove around to the cache location, but searched for about half an hour with no luck. It may be due to my GPS playing up today - about half the time it said it was on the other side of the river, but I presumed not since it was just the backs of factories. On the other hand, it did lead me to a gully that fitted the description very well, and I searched thoroughly in those tree roots but no cache. As this is a popular walking area, maybe it's been stolen?
Found at 1225 by Mary and David. First two clues easy to find, but a long walk from there to the cache. We agree with Ben777 - unless you want to enjoy a long walk along the river tracks, take the car - there are a lot of bends to negotiate.
Took White-0ut pen and left a blue Saga pen. Good one, Biggles bear. Thanks.

This was my first attempt at finding a cache ,as well as using my GPS for something other than working out how to use it.
I knew the exact location of the first clue as I spent a large amount of time in this vicinity last year. The hike from the second clue to the third would have been easier in a car. Weather was stupid, hot one minute freezing the next (yep it's Autumn in Melbourne). What can I say, I'm happy to find my first cache.
Nothing exchanged.

Found this one without too much trouble on a very wet ANZAC day.
Left 2 more golf ball to add to the kitty.
Other than the balls no exchange.
On Sunday morning in drizzling rain we braved the wilds of this inner urban parkland. The clues were of interest and took us to places we had not previously seen. We had with us two friends, Gerry and Carol, and their very own Wonder Dog Rex (see photos). This was their first experience of geocaching, or in fact geodashing in any form, so it was fascinating to watch as their understanding developed. Patrizia led us all, including Dashing Dog Mac, with the GPS to the cache location and Carol discovered it in its secret hiding place.
We completed the log book, taking the small pink mirror and leaving a brand new liquid paper correction pen, which may be useful when someone needs to alter a hastily scribbled note in the log book provided.
Ian and Patrizia Kelly (and Mac).

Found at 12.40PM Another interesting location we did not know about even though we used to live only a couple of km's away! It was a nice cool day, perfect for a walk. Didn't find any golf balls, though, other than the one that nearly hit us as we were crossing behind a green. (We left that one there). Nothing exchanged. Greg and Bev
This was a joint find with Ray and Maya (Nomads). I was at the starting location for this cache when they arrived. We again met at the second location, then walked together to the final cache location. Ray actually found it.
I found two more golf balls nearby and added these to the cache, as well as the Monsters Inc toy I picked up at 'The Sespit'. It turns out that Ray and Maya had deposited it there a few days before I found it. I took the Japanese Hand Towel.
It was enjoyable afternoon stroll with good company. Thanks Biggles Bear and Nomads.

Found by Ray and Maya (Nomads), with Muzza, at 4:25PM on Saturday the 13th of April. We had not planned to do any caching today but Maya's sewing machine broke so we decided to get out to cheer her up. We arrived at the published location of the cache to find Muzza considering the clues. This is the first time we have met another cacher whilst in the process of searching for a cache. We had a chat, then all moved on to continue the search. We met again at the second location and decided to continue the search together. We had a pleasant stroll to the final location and enjoyed Muzza's commentary on the features in the area as he was very familiar with the locale. Muzza found two golf balls on the walk which he added to the cache when we found it, along with his swap item, which turned out to be the Monster's Inc toy we had placed in Sespit the previous Saturday. We took the Qantas playing cards and left a pack of tissues and a glow star. The cache was in good order and well hidden. We all returned to the car park by following the rivertrack, rather than by the direct route we had used to find the cache. Thankfull, the heavy rain held off until we reached the car, but we did experience some light misty rain as we walked back. This was a very enjoyable cache hunt with Muzza's company. Our thanks to Biggles Bear for placing the cache, and to Muzza for sharing it with us. Ray and Maya
