It looks like the capsule is in Davy Jones locker. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks to all of the cachers that made this a fun event!
Since we passed this one we gave a look, no luck.
Failed to find with together with renelm and aedk.

In the area supporting Grandson who was playing hockey for Pukekohe Intermediate at the AIMS hockey competition. Great effort Pukekohe to come 4th in the event. Walked to the summit and round the bottom of the mount. Yes a DNF for us as well but nice view.
It looks like the muggles found it hanging around. I thank the last three cachers that sent a "DNF" message to alert me to this sad fact. Sorry about that, but I'm not totally surprised that a muggle found it as this is a very busy location. I will reinstate it on my next trip to New Zealand.
Enjoying the walk around the mount, first time visit for us and the great views and easy track with caches to be found make for a great afternoon. Unfortunately we couldn't find it either, we sat out a family of muggles playing in the rocks nearby intently searching with our eyes....LOL After they finally left we had a good look, eventually I found what I am guessing was the anchoring apparatus but with no cache on the end. Hopefully will be able to come and get it another time.
Sad to say did not find even with a PAF. Two of us looking with no luck. Even tried lying on the ground and looking up, but have been know to miss the obvious before
This cache was being opened & read by a couple of muggles as I approached the seat. It was hanging in clear view at the spot. Is this where it was meant to be? [8)]
Day 18 and the chance to get some Mauao caches!
This one stumped us for some time, despite some intense looking at the tree. About to move on, I looked off to the side and there it was!
One of those caches that once you see it you wonder why you never saw it earlier.
Signed log and moved on. TFTC!

Day 18.....done! Sent the Mrs out, actually to my surprise, she volunteered to get it whils I stopped the kids drowning themselves at the hotpools. 40 mintes later she returns empty handed, so I head out with Poppymjr and wizzed along to the cache site....took a seat and managed a "how did she not see that?" moment, before picking a good time between the 1000's of people strolling around the mount.....signed log and got out of there....had to stop 5 minutes later to take photos of a seal sunning itself on the beach - you could've walked up to it and tickled it behind its ears.....

Another great spot to take a seat and appreciate the view on a beautiful day. Took me a little while but finally found it. TFTC
Lots of muggles walking today. Sat down and looked, but saw nothing but the island and some impressive waves. And then .....
This one almost had us flummoxed! We searched and searched and were about to give up when the eagle-eye noticed something shiny! Bingo! And as the hint says - there it was in front of us all the time! Thanks NevadaRocks for this clever cache! SL. TFTC
First time walking around Mt Maunganui today, a cracker day which equals LOTS of muggles! Some were parked up in the seat so we scrambled over the rocks to kill time until they'd gone. Managed to find this easy enough and put it back before in a gap between joggers and walkers. SL TFTC
WE took the seat and I just couldn't see it. Geoson found it easily and even being pointed out where it was I still couldn't see it. Oh to have young eyes. TFTC.
Found it!!! Sat right down and spotted it straight away. Good camo! Quick and good one! TFTC
#163 - Found with my Caching Buddy hailz840. Found on a caching mission to find all the caches around the Mt. Something which I've been meaning to do to quite some time.
This one is easier than i had first anticipated, me off down the bank a bit, to check out what i thought was the cache only to discover it was rubbish! lol i hate that! haha, meanwhile my buddy had cache in hand.

Arrived at location of cach as the bulk carrier Global Mermaid was entering the port, great location to watch the ships came and go. Quick find on as the sun was setting, TFTC.
Found after pondering and prodding around. Great spot for a rest on sunny day. TFTC

A palindrome of cache finds........... not to happen again till find 11011........
A dodgy descent from our 10,000th find got us close to GZ, then a short stroll and we were sitting admiring the view.......... hey what's that.......
Awesome stuff, nice container!!

Bit of a mish on this one, as we had to wait for a couple of teen lovebirds to depart. Tan1aNZ spotted it quickly but we had to wait out the seat occupation. On the plus side we got to watch a frollicking seal below us who seemed to be enjoying the sun, and playing on his (or her) own. Very amusing to watch.

Nice cache like the one on the rocks round the other side. Cold afternoon, biting wind, so nobody in their right mind on the seat...except Waaka warriors.
Seat was free so no wait but a few walkers passing by. Easy to see when focused on it.
Another great little rest stop on the way around he mount... Enjoyed the simplicity of this one... Log signed and cache safely returned to its location TFTC
Out for a walk around the Mount with my son on a treasured and rare day's leave from work. Sat and looked for a while admiring the view. Thought it might have been by the broken branches accidentally made that way by some over-exuberant geo-cache hunter, but was pleased to say "NO. Not there!" Nicely camouflaged and a great little container.
Nice to have a wander around the Mount on this anniversary weekend. I took a seat and looked around - after finding other similar caches - I soon had it in hand inbetween muggles also out for a bit of excerise. Great spot TFTC
Out this morning for a walk with the masses on a public holiday. Had to wait for a couple to move from the seat, but once they were gone the cache was quickly found. A good sized cache for the location and very nicely hidden too compared to the last one that used to be here! TFTC!
A little bit of patience was required while waiting for the seat to be free but once we were there it didn't take too long to find
Nice to see a new cache around the mount.
Easy find on my regular run.
The hard part was timing the recovery and log signing, with lots of passing muggles.

Certainly good camo,i must have sat looking for a good five minutes before i spotted it.After i signed the log & replaced the cache it was actually quite obvious, don't know why it took so long.
We had other plans for the afternoon but decided to make the most of the sunshine and go for a walk around the Mt, especially as the forecast is for rain the next few days. Great views and good for our fitness too. A relatively quick find, made more difficult by the terrain (did a little rock-climbing nearby) and the many other walkers and runners on the track. We were surprised and pleased to be FTF (3.27pm). As we were replacing the cache we noticed someone on a nearby seat and wondered if he was waiting his turn. A well-hidden cache, thanks for placing it!
