#3827 (1 of 3 today)
Another day where I need a find to meet my goal of 5 fids per calendar day by the end of 2017 (ie one per year in which I'll have cached).
Only need one today, but as I was going to the Waratah's game tonight (don't ask) I decided to try to finish off the preliminary caches in this series first.
Went for three and got them all. Unfortunately one didn't have the clue required for the series final.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Went for *#6* first but there was a muggle in the park, so continued on to this one. Found a park next to *#1* (which I already have) and walked the 200 metres to GZ.
Nice quick find here in the logical spot. Opened to find an "emergency log" on which I couldn't see the hint. Hmmm.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then off on foot to *#5*.

We couldn't find this 2nd in this group. We are confident if we could fine one we could find the others, but no luck today. We are confident it is in here somewhere.
Having had a DNF back in February it was good to know it has been replaced. Found easily as I knew where to look and despite muggle kids playing in the park nearby, quickly had CIH, signed and replaced. No mint tin now but a better container. TFTC.
Up from down south to drop the geofamily off at the airport as they jet off to Perth for a week. I'll miss them... Wait well that means more geocaching after they have left. So a good few hours in Sydney caching was an afternoon well spent. Such a busy place unfortunately. Thanks to all the cache owners that had caches I visited today. Tftc tnln.
Found a cache. Also found a temporary log, but did not find a clue to the puzzle. So many missing pieces; I don't think I'll be looking for it.
Found it, only temporary log inside on piece of hand towel, is this supposed to have clue? If so it does not contain.
06 September 2016 06:18:57 OK I hate cut and paste logs so will try my best to add a little something different to each log I post. Code 1 and myself were out on our annual caching run weekend. So some of our logs read both names but to save room on micros and nano’s etc we used CJ1. Like most of our past trips a little homework was needed to work out a suitable location, route and to build lists and PQs, with this done and set we found our self’s in the Camden location. A great range of finds and styles were located with a great deal of questioning over some of the posted difficulties and terrains.
JABs.
Tried to knock this little series off but some were missing or we couldn't find them.
Saved the info of the 4 we did find so might try again next time we're in the area.

TFTC! my very first cache find no logbook found so alejabrown & I have put a temporary one
If you follow the hints it's quite easy to find, however, its not a magnetic mint tin. TFTG.
I had to be nearby for work, found this in the pouring rain, quick grab and run back to the car!
Cheers

First attempted this one about 6 months ago. It was evident where it was but had been muggled. Good to see its been replaced!
As I am travelling I collect cache containers so always seem to have a few spare.
I can then use them to replace caches that need a little TLC.
This cache has been replaced with the CO's permission.
There is now a new container with log sheet and the clue written at the top of the log sheet. It is at GZ attached with a keeper wire.
Size and hint still relevant.
This cache can now be enabled for finding by everyone.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about walking the dog I am house sitting again.
A lovely day today as well, no wind.
I have a long stick with a magnet on the end.
I hoped to be able to 'grab' the mint tin if it has been dropped.
Unfortunately I could not.
Oh well, One for another day.

Out caching with Cryptic8 to continue my streak. We drove around checking out this Hillsdale series. This is a part of Sydney I hadn't been to for many years. Thanks for bringing me here again gullightly. We enjoyed the drive and visiting the little reserves.
Unfortunately our first attempt was a DNF. Checked the clue, saw MA06229, but it seems to have gone AWOL to the magnetic mint tin in the ground. Even used a piece of nearby scrap to assist in seeking out the cache (see photo), but it didn't help spot it either.

Boo-hoo. My first DNF. Looking at the hints, Brewmaker and I were pretty sure where it would be but there was nothing there. Oh well, onto the next one in this series.
Possibly lost cache. Either muggles or dropped in its hiding location. Can the owner please check the cache.
Found it. No dumping, area under surveillance! Past person a is lying about location clues
Marj01 you are a liter where the cache is its not under a tree at all. Let GRACE NILSON come upon when you find it easy tippy toe
Took a while to find. About 4m away from GZ as indicated by the iPhone. Thanks!
The lid is missing and it was full of water. Because it may containe a code for the Bonus it needs to be repaired ASAP.
TFTC,
The lid is missing and the container was full of water. Couldn't get the clue and hope the CO sends it to us. I dried the container a bit, put a new log sheet in it and placed the container in position but upside down to keep the replaced log dry.
Trying to get to 3000 before we go away next month. I finished all the caches in the Macarthur Panther series over 12 months ago and wish to make GC4G0Y4 the big one. Today I have reduced my remaining count from 27 to 12 by traveling to the Eastern Suburbs.
Visited a group of trackables.

Another quick find, but unable to sign, wazza9 replaced a sheet of paper for us to sign while geocaching in the area, thanks to gullightly
Found quickly while a kid practiced tennis nearby. No doubt inspired by Wimbledon. TFTC
Caching in the area today to do the Hillsdale Series. Didn't do them in sequence however got all but the puzzle and number 5 completed before the rain set in. TFTC gullightly.
Note to CO: The lid is missing.

The fourth of four in Hillsdale this evening and the last for the day. I was hoping this would be an easy find and as we approached GZ, it was clear where the cache was hidden. The only problem was the copious amounts of muggles playing nearby. We pulled up right next to GZ and I grabbed the cache quickly. No one watching as they were all engaged in various activities. Log signed and cache replaced, I don't think the log will last long as there is no lid! TFTC gullightly!
Found on a tour of Hillsdale with Miz Wacket and Count Jacula. The tin had a bit of water at the bottom, although the log in its plastic bag was dry.
Finally worked out what those numbers meant! Sneaky hide, I like it. I'm slowly knocking this series off one by one. TFTC
A balcony muggle was close by but as he turned away I swooped quickly to make the grab then sat in the shade until he'd headed back inside

Returning to do this series after 2 years break. So far I believe all logs should be replaced as they are disintegrating. TFTC.
Much easier find this one. Got required info and it was onto the next. TFTCM

TFTC!
Grabbed this one super sly as kids were having a chat nearby about their teachers - they felt inspired by them HOORAY!
Took down our final notes and tried to confirm mystery coords (making a guess about #4).

A quick park & grab on a sunny Saturday afternoon, with not a muggle in sight. TFTC.
Thanks to a previous log I got back on track. Needs a new baggie. Comrades please don't put pencils or sharp things in bags..it's always gonna end in tears!
The hardest part of this cache was getting the log sheet out without mangling it! [:(!]
With the bike around this area. So we made the series Hillsdale. It was not so good to look around the playground area. So we can´t look at some locations. Here we can find the cache really good. Thank you.

Liampj and Felix the spy appreciated the playground. The cache was too high for them to reach, so I held each of them up for the find and for the replacement. GZ really did look like it should be on the sign in the middle of the road. Thanks!
For a second I was hoping it was on the sign in the middle of the road! 3rd one down.
Reperio at 1220 in the company of Grub Fred.
We left Newcastle nice and early this morning for a day of caching in and around Sydney, and this was our second stop in the series. Once at GZ, the cache didn't take long to find.
Gratias gullightly.

Whilst in the area for work today, I stopped off at Grace Campbell Reserve for lunch. I parked up on Rhodes Street and this cache looked like a good spot to walk to from there. So off I headed, down towards the playground and basketball court.
I honed in on GZ and thought I knew just where to look. I firstly had to wait for the postman to pass by and then I went in for a quick find. The log sheets were damp but I managed to make and entry using the supplied pencil. I returned the cache and then headed back up the hill. A nice day for a walk. TFTC gullightly.
