Unfortunately it looks like it will be a long time before this area is ready for another cache
I drove down here more out of curiosity than anything else and, well, to see if all routes to GZ were cut off.
Scouted the area in the car and on foot, and could not see a viable way in.

I am going to disable this cache, as there is a road being constructed where it is located.
Once the road is completed, I will make up my mind, if it can be rehidden, or if the cache needs to be archived.

DNF while on GZ it was my job site today and this one will be dug up to about 10m deep here the whole hill will be moved ill email co later tfth hope it was just my eyes today and not a missing cache
After visiting my niece who lives nearby, we were going to find this cache.
All was going well - drove up to GZ and was about to get out when a police car pulls up along side us . So we sit in the car pretending to be looking for something in the car, while the police continue to sit next to us look at us.
Now suffering from performance anxiety, and not really wanting to answer 20 questions to the constabulary about caching, we decided to drive off.
The police then followed us down the hill for the next few blocks before loosing interest when we turned off down a side street.
I think we'll try this on again next time we're visiting!

I headed down the end of the road and I was glad that the workers were on holidays as I wouldn't like to try to find it on a work day.
The GPS was pointing me to the middle of the road but I picked which side of the road I would hide a cache and headed there.
I think I surveyed all the spots at least three times before I looked at things a bit differently and spotted the well themed cache.
TFTC.

Found this cache whilst out for the day with Whint & Bad Dal. We were down a muskteteer but had a great time without him anyway It was quite a warm day, even for December and we were probably a little foolish to be attempting caches in these hotter suburbs, but a bit of sun never killed anyone... right?
Whint and I were walking around and around in circles at this GZ. Neither device wanted to lock in an area and with other cachers spotting syringes we didn't want to be just putting our hands anywhere willy nilly. I was close to giving up when Whint shouted that she had found something. I raced over in time to watch her grab the container. The logbook was signed and the cache replaced as found before we got back in the car and headed down the hill. Thanks for the cache an old hag

Found with Net88 on a day out of caching.... this one had us going around in circles... literally! for some reason both GPS & iphone were really struggling with where GZ was and it was positive that we should be somewhere over the opposite side of the road... it didn't make sense so we went with out gut and by pure chance as I was going past to look at another spot I glanced in the right direction and spotted something out of place.... ah... now it makes even more sense

This was the first one i did on my own. Being in bogan territory watch out for the syringes and i also found a dead cat. Wow
Looked high and low, but could not find it. Was hot day and GeoKid was getting toey cause we could locate. Will try again another day
I had some time after a geocycle around White Rock. Decidied to see how many of the locals I could round up in the time I had.
Based on the time it took to find this one it would not be many ;-P
Looked in an awful lot of places it was not

Started searching for this one and local council workers asked me if I needed any help so we decided to leave and come back another day
Finally got back here today to make this find, last time I was here I got muggled out with people coming to see the horses. I had a little hunt around before I got my hands on him. Tftc.
By time I got out of the car geodaughter was unrolling the log to be signed how did she find it so fast.
I'm just glad I took her. TFTC

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Grabbed this one on our way home from work today to fill in the calendar, pulled up at GZ and spotted the cache after a few minutes search.

Spent a few minutes looking at all the big rocks with no luck. Just about climb back in the car when I noticed something not quite right, gotcha, had the cool little cache container in hand. TFTC
Took a little while to locate this one, it is pretty funny to have the CO watching on laughing at us while searching.
We tried a few places and had no luck then I uncovered the hide while the kids were looking at the horses!

Despite GPS not working properly I parked next to this one as I was here back in mid-May and marked out GZ but was unable to search due to a keen observer. This time there was not a soul in sight and I began my search in ernest. I was very lucky to find the sucker in it's nook quite quickly. Thanks old hag
No luck after lengthy search. Maybe better luck to the next cacher

Coords were marginally off as suggested in other logs but in reality, they are only as good as the accuracy of a standard unit so nothing to worry about. I scratched around GZ for about 10 minutes or so and was empty handed. Then I spotted a geotrail on the other side of the road and thought hey, I wonder...
A little search over there was never going to reveal anything so back to the area that aligned with the cache name and voila, there you are... I gotta say, if you stay out here much longer you're going to be in a lot of Barney Rubble...
Cheers Old Hag.

The GPS was a bounding around - had me in the middle of the road at one point! But the clue was in the title of the cache so I knew which vicinity it would be in. So I persisted turning and poking and what da ya know! Kool container and very appropriate cache! TFTC
Found it on a cache blitz with Hiltonclan had a great couple of hours talking cache.. After starting at the bremer river.. Another cheeky one AOH four eyes always helps on these occasions TFTC.
Found after a bit of searching and reading of old logs. We had a couple of Muggles drive up and hang around for a bit but they go board after a while and headed off. Loved the container. TFTC.
In the area again today for a family visit and thought we'd give this one another crack after last week's unsuccessful search. Again, our GPS had us in the middle of the road so, again, we ignored it. Stood back and viewed the scene and thought 'where haven't we looked?' Ahhh, I don't think I checked there... First place I looked turned up the goods.
What a good feeling.
Another very clever little cache. Thanks old hag.

Our GPS had us in the middle of the road but undeterred by this we ignored it and searched high and low. First one side of the road then the other then back to the first. Still no luck. Then the Geohound started scratching and on investigation we found a tick. Hmmm. We decided to head off and come back another time.
Didn't have a chance to look for this one today cause when I pulled up at the likely spot, a vehicle coming out of the private property stopped at the gate and sat and watched me. You can only pretend to be on the phone and take pictures of the view for so long and it soon became obvious I was under suspicion and they weren't going to move. Decided to leave it for another day and drove off only to find the said vehicle following me for quite a while. I wonder what will happen if he finds me there again?
Both GPSs all over the place and wouldn't settle. Late afternoon, no gloves and failing light so decided to give it a go later on.
*FTF* @8:10pm
I was sitting at home this afternoon with the Geokids when this one popped up. With no transport as mum was at the school fete I thought this one would have been found quite quickly.
With still no logs after dinner mum gave the Ok to head off for a look. After minor navigation issues thanks to Susan my incar GPS advisor I had to do some back tracking, a stop for fuel and finally I made it to GZ.
With the car lights assisting in the search and the GPS bounced around a bit. I decided to switched it off and began searching in the likely spots first with no luck, I then changed tack and switched sides, but nothing caught my eye. Back to the original spot and the most likely area and I started being a bit more methodical in my approach.
Just as I was thinking that things might appear easier in the daylight I checked a little bit harder and what do you now, there was the cache neatly hidden from view.
I was still thinking that I had been beaten for the FTF honours so I was very suprised to see a clean page. With the signing complete I tucked it back in place and headed home a happy camper.
Thanks for the cache an old hag.
