Having dropped Mrs Msc20 at the airport, I meandered my way back to the Tron picking off a number of nearby caches en route. Id targeted this one for a current challenge Im working on but thankfully therell be other options as I found plenty of rocks but no cache. Probably still there. One of the Team SEAC members decided to plan a trip to complete the Waikato River Walk series. Today was the day with B4Dawn, Keylev and Mr HeMaLuDy partaking in the adventure. We had completed the walk / drive and were collecting a few caches to finish the day off. This took a little while as other items like the hint suggested distracted us but once re-evaluated the search area the cache was spotted. TFTC.

I've been looking at this trail for a while and wanted to it done. A call out to Team SEAC to see who else wanted to tackle this with me. Keylev and Mr. Hemaludy was onboard, ready for duty! So off we went!

Last one for the day. Mr Hemaludy spotted it and we were on our way home.

On my way home from the Mega and I thought I'd pick up some caches on my way home. Lost the odd fingernail checking this out and finally spotted what I was looking for. It's cooler now so it's pleasant being outside after this afternoons heat.

Just done a check today was missing so replaced it

Had to call into Meremere to get some numbers for a multi we are working on so we decided to grab this one on the way out. Spotted the camo right away, signed and off again. TFTC

I used to live on Island Block Road way up past the causeway many many years ago so we took a quick drive to look out my old house to find it’s now been replaced by a newer version. A super quick find here and thanks for the trip up memory lane.

North Island Campervan trip Day 11 - the drive home.

After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.

This would be a great chance for me to seek out some targeted caches such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.

So the trip was all but over. I had already returned my wonderful little campervan back to the hire place earlier this morning, so now it was just the 550km drive home. But not before I spent an hour grabbing a few solved puzzles/challenge caches in this area first.

GZ was quiet this morning when I got here. That allowed me to make my search in peace without worrying too much about Muggles. But even so this one took a little while to find as it was not where I expected it to be. However, persistence paid off and I was alerted to this find with help from Brandon Lee Matthews. Whoever he is, if he is looking for his Community Services Card then he'll find it here lol!

On a ladies weekend to Hamilton with Supernanny, Jag50 and Nette. Lots of rocks but we eventually found it

Heading to Hamilton with Merlot58 we made the short detour off the motorway to find this one. Soooooo many hint items at gz but after a systematic search we had the cache in hand.

It's a Friday and I'm supposed to be working. But no work was coming thru. So I decided to have an early start to my weekend away in Rotorua. Tomorrow is the GC45 event celebrating 20 years of geocaching and especially the first cache outside the USA. So as I was heading south I came by this cache. Didn't take me long to find - after going thru all the rocks on the ground. Cheers for the cache.

No luck here today

Last time we attempted to find this cache, muggles were mowing the grass surrounding the sign!! This time we had better luck with no muggles nearby. TFTC

A another quick stop for us which was handy given the rain had started again. The Little One found this one and Mrs and Little One left Mr in the rain to log and rehide.

I could easily find it, good that it's a bit away from the rubbish in front of the wall. TFTC!

Time to start heading down the island towards home in Feilding, however I’m stopping if in Rotorua for a night at the holiday home that they have rented for a couple of days.

I set off early and I didn’t want to spend too much time caching prior to Auckland as I wasn’t sure what the traffic was going to be like through the city. However I decided to grab a few on the way. Got through Auckland in good time and now I’ve got a bit more luxury for some more caching.

A quick detour off the highway for a cache here. A quick find and I’m back on the main road. TFTC

Spent a little bit of time searching the wrong area, but after a few minutes I checked somewhere else and the cache was tucked away there. TFTC.

I'm on my way to the Mega in Wellington with thegreatauk. We have a great plan sorted with lots of caching along the Highways and stops in Hamilton and Palmerston North before spending a few days in Wellington. I liked the gz here and the cache was an appropriate and neat little hide, thanks

On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for. For today we managed 25 which is good. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches.

Made harder work of this one than I should have - still manage to overlook a well known hide from time to time. Spent a while looking in the wrong spot and then the right spot and then the wrong spot. In the end geowife walked up and said, there it is. So it was. Thanks for the cache.

Stayed up the road last night with some biking planned today. Weather far too wet so heading slowly home caching. Very wet here but cache cleverly hidden. Thanks for the placement eyespyben.

Yes it is a bit of clever one, luckily a bit of cache sense kicked and suggested it was going to be above the feet, so one didn't need to turn over all of those... but when it was in view it was kinda wedged in there... kinda muggled by passing farmer at one stage.. "you guys up to mischief?" yes of course always.... and then with explanation he says.."oh yeah i have met you guys before"...

Quick easy park and grab for vistra and I today, but the coords were off by 27m by my gps. TFTC

After completing the Waikato River Walk today, yorkshirekiwi83 and I called into Meremere for a few caches before heading to an event in South Auckland. Soon spotted the cache here, which fits in well with its environs. TFTC!

Well this was a chance to have a last ride out on the motorbike before it goes away in the garage until the spring. A chance for a souvenir too.

Found it after a great drive out the southern motorway.

On our way to visit the inlaws in Huntly so thought a few caches on the way there was in order. Cache quickly found and log duly signed. TFTC.

Came past here today to visit the nearby redoubt and gather information for GCQ1N6 "1863 Waikato War". This could have taken some time to find but I struck it lucky and found it in seconds in almost the first place I looked. Signed log, TFTC

Once upon a time there was a dirty smoke belching coal fired power station here. Not much happening around here anymore.
Cache find was straightforward. True to the coordinates and hint.
All in order; log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
